It’s good!

WNC folks: this app is pretty decent, the maps are customizable, the latest forecast video clip is there, you can plug in your location. Really, no complaints! It lost one star for how long it takes to open. Most of these reviews are really old from before major updates I presume. It’s free! It’s the weather! Get it.

Weather app review

It’s not very good takes too long to load. When a storm comes I don’t show when it starts it just shows when the end of the storm is. You never really know if it’s gonna rain or not.

Seems like the adds are always working and cycling but the weather features not the same.

Weather app

Map on Home page shows US instead of our Asheville area as it used too. Weather doesn’t match what they say on the actual channel 13 news or on the weather broadcast they have on the app.

Must always turn the iPad

I use this app along with common sense. Mostly I use it for the map. The app ALWAYS opens in vertically, regardless of the iPad’s orientation, and I must flip the iPad to get it to horizontal. Frustrating!

Don’t bother to download

News 13 WLOS is probably the worst weather app I have ever used. Mainly because they’re never even close to accurate. They constantly change the forecast throughout the day, and still can’t seem to get it right.

Rscent Update Made It Even Worse

Horrible performance. Slow to load. It is kinda easy to use. I just hate every update gets worse and worse.

Not working correctly

I can’t even get the hour by hour or the daily weather to work. Keep getting an error message. Before hand it was great now it’s not even working properly

Issue with opening the app

I have to shut the app off on my iPhone 14 so I can view the map. If not the map flashes.

Good app for weather!

Don't work right

It does not work right it comes on and goes right back off it doesn't let me see the weather it pops up WLOS Sky watch the map pops up and then it turns off and shut down

Bring back the old app!!

The new app is terrible!! It puts ads all over and you cannot make them go away. Old app was great and I used it daily. One fairly unobtrusive ad area was OK . I will not be using this! Very sad. User, if you have not "upgraded" then I suggest you don't !
