Love the app, but it deleted my original account

So, I had been using the account for free. I had not done the unlimited plan at all, and I had been writing my character designs for my short stories inside. But today, it wouldn’t show my book, rather a gray screen. It wouldn’t let me crate another book either, meaning my books were there, but it wasn’t letting my access it. I reset my phone, signed in and out of my account, and even redownloaded the app. Now, it won’t even let me sign into the account, and registered a new account in its place, leaving all my work gone. I’d hope the bug be fixed as I may not be the only one having this problem. I would like my account back, but I understand fully if that’s not possible. Really Want To Love But

First let me start by saying that i think the UI is beautiful on this app. It is simple and super easy to navigate. I haven’t experienced any syncing issues or unexpected crashing which is always a plus for any writing app. My issue is that it doesn’t seem to be keyboard friendly. I use a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard for typing on my iPad sometimes and while typing is a breeze, whenever I need to scroll or interact with the screen to do anything it begins to glitch. It basically closes not only the bluetooth keyboard but the iPad touch screen keyboard as well which forces me to leave whatever i am working on and come back. There are even times where i might be successful in tapping the screen to make a change, go back to typing and the few words will just disappear. I haven’t had this issue using the iPad touch screen keyboard and in that aspect, it would be 5 stars across the board because it really is a good app. I just wish it was more compatiable with my BT keyboard.

Terrible, I’m assuming it is a scam

I have requested information from the company about this app, no reply. I have not been able to find simple things, must be hidden. Like saving what I am writing to a file format I can actually do anything with, not just a terrible formatted PDF or Publishing it to the web, creating an unformatted singular obscure web page, for what, I do not know. Published writing is not connected to their site and no ability to do anything with it. Give them your writing and say goodbye to it, I suppose. Is this a joke? I contacting them, am I missing something? Their website is one page and the link to the App Store does not work. No explanation, no contact information. No information like, this is what you can do to save your work for yourself when we have given you none. Okay, someone tell me, am I stupid? I see nothing when using the app which gives me any indication I have any control. Anyway, did like that I was able to customize the font, font color and background, unusable, but looks great. Does anyone who gave such a wonderful review have any idea and can enlighten me? Thanks!

Disappointing.

I was really enjoying this app until yesterday. It’s very simple and easy to use. It started crashing a few days ago while I was writing and I just thought it was my Bluetooth keyboard because it will also randomly type a bunch of letters. No big deal, I reopened the app and everything was still there. I wrote 2,000 words yesterday for a current book I’m writing. It saved and I even went back and edited a few times. Last night, I checked the app on my phone because my iPad was charging and it had the previous day’s work saved but nothing from that day. I had noticed there was a lag between devices a few days ago. Again, no big deal. Except today all 2,000 words I wrote is completely gone. I’ve tried logging out, refreshing, emailing support. Nothing. I’m very upset. It had very clearly saved it as I had went back in and edited. And the app had crashed several times yesterday with everything still saved.

It’s really great!

Im loving this app so much! I can write as many stories as I want and it’s like unlimited chapters! It’s great for organizing too! I’ve been looking for a good app like this for some time now. And I think this might be the one! It also reminds you to use it once in a while! The reason for the four stars instead of five is because, there is no grammar checking sadly and I would love for there to be different picture for the “book” like we could import from our camera roll! Sadly they don’t have that as an option, but they do have really great color schemes🥹👍!! I love This app, I hope you do too!!!

Why I love this app.

I've only had this app for a short time, but whenever I am stressed or feel so overwhelmed that I want to cry I can write a story using this app to help me get in touch with what my feelings mean at that moment. I hate writing a journal or writing in a diary so this helps me a lot. I'm grateful for this app. I can take 20 minutes or less to write my feelings into a story as if someone who needed to hear it would read it someday. The thought of it helps me be able to take a weight off my shoulders and breath. I have really bad OCD and to know I have something to write my feelings into something that means something feels good to my mind and heart.

Want to love it, Bluetooth keyboard hates it

I so badly want to love this app because I really love the simplicity and the setup but also the options it has, but my Bluetooth keyboard and the app just don’t agree with each other. I did troubleshooting but it’s just this app that does it. Letters don’t input, or will input several times when I only hit them once. Sometimes there is a terrible lag. As far as I can tell there’s also not a way to adjust the page width which is a little frustrating. Overall though it’s a beautiful app. I hope they can fix these issues so I can use it properly.

One Small Issue

I really love this app. It’s been huge in getting getting me near completion of my children’s book. The one issue I have is, my story doesn’t save to my other device (my phone). I’ve written the entire story on my iPad but when I do not have the iPad with me, I can’t go in and continue writing that same story. I would love for them to figure out how to make it so that my stories save in real time on all my devices

WHY?!

Ok, so. I’ve had this app for two days and am already five chapters into a book I’m writing and I suddenly can’t make any more chapters without getting a membership. My parents won’t pay that money for it and it’s super frustrating because I can’t even copy the work I have and put it in a google doc. I cannot believe this. I was just starting to like the app and that disappeared in an instant. Other writers who want an app like this: unless you want to pay money to write a BOOK for gods sake, get a different app. App creators: please allow non-members like me to write mor than five chapters because I’m already researching for better apps.

Simple clarity

I love the simplicity of the app but also the book covers and font possibility, and I LOVE how the total word count is on the book cover and individual sheet count is on each sheet. Simply beautiful and very easy to use. Thank you! The ONE flaw, and it's a HUGE one: you MUST be able to send as docx, because for large files, the writer is screwed getting the dox to Word or pages for formatting and sending to agents Please update with docx as a means if export! Thank you

EXTREMELY Disappointing

I usually don’t write reviews but for this I had to. If you have a LONG story or anything you’re working on with this app. Quickly copy them down and paste them somewhere else. I just spent a long time writing a story. The first chapter was finished so I closed out. It said it saved and all that. I have this app on my phone as well. So I opened it up there just to re-read what I had. All gone. Thinking the sync just had a problem, I go to my iPad (where I wrote everything) and open it up. It saved from my phone. So everything I wrote is now completely gone. Needless to say, very disappointed. Please work on this issue.

Writing Space deleted my books !!!!!!

I’ve had my account for maybe a year now, never had any issues with it(until now). I went into the app this morning because I had an idea for a book I was working on; signed in and NOTHING!!! ALL MY BOOKS I’VE WORKED SO HARD ON DISAPPEARED!!! I had the maximum books allowed without purchasing the monthly fees(which was 5 books) and now all of a sudden they delete my books and tell me I have to pay?????? I used to love this app, because I was able to write for free(with limits, which was fine..no big deal) BUT NOW THEY WANT MY MONEY!!?? A bunch selfish, greedy money grubbers, just like the other apps.

Really nice overall

Super cool app. Nothing bad to say about it. Other than the fact that there is no tab, so that's kind of weird. But other than that, really nice. Really well made. Oh yeah, also they start you with two stories, those are other people's real stories, that are just an example. They are really easy to delete. Just click the three little dots. Hope this helped.🥰

One thing…

So, I love this app and use it almost every day. However, I have some complaints. Instead of 5 free chapters for a book, I think it’d be better to have like 7 or 8 because I’m sure non-paying people who use this are gonna want to write more than a 5 chapter book. Another complaint(and my biggest one) is that you can’t tell how many pages there is for your book. It should be like Google docs where once you’ve typed out a whole page it takes you to a new one. Hopefully you guys read this and think of fixing these. - BreadSticks

Amazing!!

There are not a lot to describe but this is wonderful, 1. A GREAT way to start focusing and star writing books 2. You can read others books! 3. Leaving a review and reviving a review with this app helps you level up you writing level! 4. Custom covers; you get to be creative and enjoy making your own covers 5. No ads! Literally like you do not get 6. You don’t need to buy anything! There is no catch! You have to pay to have more books (made by you) but you have 3 books in total that YOU can be working on! interrupted during the whole time! I don’t really leave reviews for apps unless I love them. And I sure do love this one. It has so many different features, so many different uses, and much more pros than cons

Indignant.

I wrote 2 chapters yesterday on a plane. Today, the menu says 2 chapters, but is pretending one of them doesn't exist, as if it's just in the void. Can't see it, can't click on it, can't read it. Where's my writing? Should I trust this beautiful interface with my valuable information content, or keep writing in Apple Notes and Google Docs like I did for so long?

Keyboard is hard to use

I have the magic keyboard and when I need to tab over to indent a new paragraph it won’t let me unless I use the touch keyboard on the iPad. I also would like to see the words on the screen use more space instead of confined to the middle of the page. It should be edge to edge I think, or at least have the option. Not a bad app but they could add a few more features if I pay for the full year.

Amazing app for writers.

I’ve been using this app for a while now to write my first novel as a student in high school. It’s amazing so far and has some great features, BUT, I can’t seem to download my book as a PDF. The app always crashes and stays on the same screen. I’ve been trying to save it as a PDF for a while now, but it just does the same thing!

Needs more color options

I enjoy this app, however, there needs to be a pitch black background option like the Werdsmith app, and the option to change the margins of the screen while writing, also like the Werdsmith app. I prefer the Writing Space app because it has a lot more editing features.

It’s Great

The customization is simple and fun. Editing is no longer tedious and overdrawn. Well worth the money. Although, I think it would be cool if there were more options for sharing the stories for beta reading and stuff. Anyways, I look forward to the next update.

Want to love but having a problem

My first week was using this app was great! But I tried to to use it again just this week , it acted fine until I deleted a book I was working on then it kicked off. When I tried to log in again that day it acted as if it were loading to log me in then proceeded to kick me off. This continues to happen each time I try to get on the app

PLEASE MAKE A LAPTOP VERSION

I personally love the app. It’s easy to learn, navigate, and sync. It’s one of the best writing apps I’ve used, and I’ve been writing non stop since I got it. I would give it five stars if they had a laptop/computer version. Also, there’s no grammar checking in the app, so that might be a con for some people. Still, I use it almost every day.

I appreciated this app for the interface that it has its easy to use and has a good layout. It is seamless to make a book and it has default options to cover the book. It’s starting off well and it is quite a good app!!!

Copy/Paste

I want to love it but..

I love to write fanfics, real books, and short stories, and this app is absolutely brilliant for every single thing. In most writing apps I find it a bit difficult too navigate the controls, but it was super easy in this app!.. but the thing that makes it two stars is that you have a limited amount of books. I understand that you need money but it’s annoying’

Seriously?

I know you guys need money, but did you really need to add a limit to the amount of chapters and books too? Like cmon. This app could’ve been good if that WASNT a limitation. It’s one of the worst limitations you can give especially considering this is a writing app. If you’re writing some type of movie script or just add the chapters all in one chapter, maybe this app is good then, but still, why? And if you’re curious, you can only add 4 books and 4 chapters. Just crappy.

Keeps crashing

In the last few days I have noticed this app continues to crash repeatedly. I have it installed on an iPad Mini. Today I deleted a project I was working on and the crashing is worse. While it does work in landscape mode, the text on my other project now seems to be in portrait. I’m paying for this? It might be time to find something different, more stable.

Add more that JUST 4 Free Books

There should be an option for the person to at least write 10 books instead of 4 before having us to purchase monthly. Only 4 books I feel isn’t enough. The person should have unlimited books already.

PDF form :(

It’s an amazing app and I love it so much. It has a lively layout and is super easy to use. The only problem is when you publish the book and look at the pdf it doesn’t program the punctuation like apostrophes. Otherwise it’s wonderful!

Glitchy but organized

It isn’t letting my scroll down to my others works and keeps getting stuck but otherwise I like the clean look and it’s helps keeps track of my progress

I’m enjoying it

I’m truly enjoying it. I wish i was able to see my work page by page. I kinda wonts to see how much material I have or I’m working with, but so far I’m enjoying it.

I like it

This app is one of the better one's & very easy to use, the only thing I have problem with is the fact that I can't use it on the mac. I hope that it gets added to the mac for it would be really good to us on the mac Everything else tho is really easy to use.

Mac App Syncing

I’m loving it so far. Best layout I’ve found downloaded every single one on App Store. It would be amazing if there was a Mac app to sync with. I have to write in notes on Mac then copy paste as of now when I make additions to a project I started on this app. Pretty please!

Great app BUT….

Love this app for my novel but only 26 pages in the app is no longer allowing me to convert to PDF and when I try, the app freezes and I have to force close. Not sure how I’m going to print anything and I’m afraid of losing the work I’ve done.

The Best writing app!

The Writing Space app is so awesome! You can make LOTS of stories and chapters in the app. Right now, I’m writing about two jealous brothers and the app is working perfectly fine. I haven’t seen any ads.

So glitchy

I've been using it for a while but I just wrote a chapter for like 5 days and half of it got deleted, I'm angry I worked very hard on it please fix it! Other than that it's pretty good it has lots of good features.

Great app

This is a great app for soon to be authors although it doesn’t have every feature that a payed subscription has but you can still write stories. I really do love this app and highly recommend.

No thanks

I liked the ability to write your own stories, and that they put in two stories for you as an example. But what I don’t like is that you can only write a couple of stories without paying money. Please fix this.

Why I installed it

It was great. Most of the time, when I get these kind of apps, there’s a subscription, or a free day trial, and then I must pay something a week, or month!

I have a buncha apps of writing so this is what I do, step 1:Write my plan on Old Notepad. step 2:come to this app and start my story. I really love this app I literally just started 4 days ago and I LOVE it!!

It’s a good app but It deleted all my work

I love this app, i really do. I was making a book and as I was writing it kicked me out. And when I went back on all my work was gone. I even tried making another book but it deleted it again.
