The xim apex has been a lot of fun for the past year. I’d give it five starts if it weren’t for the current problem where it doesn’t connect to my new phone. I changed phones a while back and downloaded this app to just have it but the xim apex doesnt connect to it. Thankfully I had logged into it on my old iPad so I can work with it through there, but I’m pretty dissapointed that it doesn’t work on my new phone. I’ve googled some things to see if theres a way to fix it but nothing has shown up. Other than that, it’s great and I’m super happy with it!
There are still many problems while playing Rainbow Six Siege.
There is a big problem using the xim apex while playing rainbow six siege. While standing still your character moves slightly to the left in most cases I believe this is not due to the controllers sticks or user error but due to the xim apex, please fix. Also there is a minor problem or annoyance where while playing rainbow six siege, while sprinting and holding W to go forward you cannot press either A or D or it will cancel the sprint and make you walk instead. On PC you are allowed to do this and you will still sprint but for console you cannot. And when you are using a controller you can. So maybe to fix this issue recalibrate the way the left sticks moves while pressing W and A and D.
The Internet is strong for me, although when I open the program, it asks for an internal update in the program and when you press it, the blue line never moves, I tried a lot and waited, but it is useless.
The Adaptor is pretty great and all, but i have been experiencing the Xim Apex would stop responding after like 20min after turning on, by this i mean i press buttons on my keyboard and mouse but the game wont respond even though my Xim Apex Manager is reading what i am pressing, which is annoying mid game, and really defeats the purpose of the device, I would like this addressed ASAP!, I also recommend having assign multiple keys to a button, and like double tap inputs such as for sprinting (L3= Key W(2x Tapped)). Overall without the problems it does perform well. Also while pointless as i can just change the key assignment on loaded configs it would be more convenient if you can create your own configs.
I bought my xim apex new of the xim site it came in and I really liked it and the xim manager is great as well but it sometimes didn’t want to connect but that was fixed by updating my xim apex software but I had to connect it to a pc but after that every thing works smother than ever I recommend this device 100% to any one struggling to use a controller or just want to be better than most people which I understand so far I love this thing.
After using the xim for a year or so I bought the PC and played r6 for the first few times only to realize how bad the xim apex actually works. I thought it worked well until I played PC and found quite a few problems, most due to the low specs of the PlayStation (no problem we all new this). MY PROBLEM WITH THE XIM IS THAT YOU CAN NOT TOUCH A or D KEYS WHILE SPRINTING OR IT CUTS TO WALKING SPEED. I didn’t realize this at first because I had not played proper mouse and keyboard games on pc or even other games on xim for that matter. After realizing this, and altering my ply style to play PC and other games on xim now. Rainbow 6 siege is almost unplayable one the xim. And knowing that is a huge market for the xim company they should fix that
I have had this thing for almost a year now and every time I try to connect it, it doesn’t work, my brother and a few friends who also have one and they have helped me set it up multiple times. Note I have tried to connect it on many occasions and it is yet to work; the closest I’ve gotten is it loads and reads out the keys I’m pressing and then it says read failure. It pops up saying “read failure” every time I try to connect it and I have tried and purchased several controllers, I’m worried this has come out to be a huge waste of money and isn’t going to ever work.
What I would love is the option to turn off the thing I hate the most in all games. That thing is; aim assist. I have a great aim without aim assist and I know that because I’ve played games that don’t have it on or give an option to disable it. But in some games (like Destiny 2), there exists an aim assist that is more detrimental to your aim than it is useful because it shoves your crosshairs really far when something/someone else walk/jumps/runs directly in front of you. That often can lead your your death (and the urge to throw your controller into a wall). If you’d be able to find a way to safely disable aim assist (that won’t get us banned), I would be extremely grateful. Thanks!
I went on vacation and just came back and my xim is bugging out. I was trying to connect to rainbow six siege and it said that the configuration needs a update so I pressed update then the app crashed, and now every time I try to open the app it just crashes every time I’ve tried deleting it, resetting my phone, I tried it on another phone and it still crashed, but when I don’t have my Bluetooth turned on it doesn’t crash but soon as it connects its crashes please help.
Can you please push out an update for users with iOS 12. The Xim apex manager app crashes every time I open it now on iOS 12. I’ve heard of others having the same issue. Only way it works is if they delete the app and reconnect it with Bluetooth, but once you close the app it crashes every time you try to open it. Very frustrating. Can you please update the app so that it runs smooth on iOS 12 please.
The app is working well but it seems I’m missing part of the configuration layout that others have. I’m unable to change hertz, missing the boost and steady aim option, among other small things I’m missing. The app is fully up to date but other I’ve tried to share or get settings from tell me mine is completely different from theirs. :/
I’ve only updated the app and software a few times and my apex hasn’t skipped a beat. The app never crashes regardless of how often I switch configs or anything. After a year of using this app it’s still a 10/10
To many issues, just about after every update my sensitivity will go from being super high to super low and I don’t change any settings within the app. Like last up date I could spin around 3 times on a 150 sensitivity and now with the new update I can only spin 1 and half times on a sensitivity of 500. Tired of the inconsistency messing up my gameplay
I have loved using the XIM for the last 3 years and have recommended it to several of my friends! I really look forward to the new Insurgency Sandstorm update as all of the other configs don’t really work for the game☹️
I bought the XIM for R6 and there is no ballistic manager, it’s just not there it connects to my PS4 and I can move around in game, but my sensitivity is so slow to the point It would take me an entire round to do a 360. But, the ballistic manager could change that i know. It’s just, it’s not there I can’t edit my advanced sensitivity settings. Ima try to figure it out tho.
It works perfect, people complain about the language when there’s a preferred language setting on your phone. I had japanese as a preference and it made it japanese when I opened the app but I changed it to English and the app changed with it.
iOS is behind on the manager updates or I would give 5 stars. You have to take time to set it up properly. All these people saying that it doesn’t work is just user error or playing a game that it doesn’t support.
i have had mine for almost a year now and it’s been perfect since the day i bought it. super simple to update the firmware. xim forum is always up to date and busy forums which is a good thing. this is no fly by night company. xim has been around for awhile and continue to provide the absolute best and most precise xim devices. always improving and couldn’t be happier with the xim apex. you won’t regret the xim apex or this app. app has never crashes and zero issues connecting to the apex. 5 stars
The xim apex is a great tool and has helped me, but recently it has stopped connecting to my phone and just gives me a read failure. I have tried factory resetting it and uninstalled the app and redownloaded it but it still fails, the xim apex flashes white like its connecting and then goes red. Please help resolve this issue so I can play Xbox again
I love using my Xim, everything works fine but sometimes I would have to turn my bluetooth off and back on to connect to my Xim because it says ' Bluetooth radio off '. Besides that, it works great.
The app worked great for a long time and i had a good experience but all of a sudden the app would crash. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling and even shutting off my phone. i can’t get that app to stay open. i’m running on ios 14.6 currently and no solutions work. this is very frustrating considering i spent over $100 on this adapter.
In the next update if you could add lean bindings to Rainbow Six Siege that would be awesome because that game is the only reason i got the adapter in the first place. Other then not having the lean bindings everything is working great so far.
Could you give us an update to fix the constant crashing. Every time i log into the app it gives me your icon than crashes, the only way i can fix it is by uninstalling it and re downloading it, and only than when i close it, it gives me the same problem. PLEASE FIX
I just purchased the XIM apex, I’m rating it two starts because first of all, it doesn’t get connected to my phone. Second of all it keeps crashing. You have to reinstall it every time you open it. Push an update please.
Half of the time I try to use this app it doesn’t work which means if I want to play I different game I cant switch the sensitivity or controls. The app itself is fine but they just need to work being able to connect to the XIM apex

XIM apex mouse, controller, keyboard not connecting.
I have bought your product. Because it looks nice. But whenever I put the mouse, controller, and keyboard in. It doesn’t connect, or show up in the app. I have connected them in their right place. And it still doesn’t work. Help?..
After 1 year of using XIM it work perfect then one day i wake up and when I plug my controller,keyboard,mouse it does not pick it up but the light on the xim is still on
I use this device on fortnite and the game can now detect you using a keyboard and mouse and kicks me out every match. If there is a way around the detection that the XIM could use it would be great but I don’t think they will come out with something like that.

App always doesn't work after closing it, also somehow it slows down my sensitivity dramatically after the next day I play on it so I would have to change my sensitivity everyday...
I need help I have been using the xim apex for a month but my off sync wasn’t working so I factory reset the xim apex hoping that would work but now the xim apex manager was old but when I tried updateing it to the newest manager it said that the manager was already updated to the newest manager I need help :(
everytime i open up the app on my phone it says press connect button to connect to ur xim apex blah blah blah. then it says bluetooth radio is off under the button and everytime i press connect it start to connect for a second then stops. how do i fix this? i’ve deleted the app and got it bacc again i have done everything it seems like

Why don’t you have a different way to upgrade the firmware cause I can’t even use my XIM apex now thanks and it’s also in Chinese with no option to choose English! If I had a computer I wouldn’t of bought this product and I wouldn’t be playing Xbox or ps
I have a problem anytime I try and boot up my xim app it crashes every time instantly so I had to download the beat version of the newest xim manager just for my Xbox remote to not be able to connect to the app
Whenever I try to make a config for next gen Xbox it always says my firmware is not updated but whenver I search it up I can’t find anywhere where it says I can update the firmware. I’ve spent a lot of money on this and if I can’t use it because of a stupid issue I’m going to be very mad.
Ok so the thing is great and everything but when I tried to make F my reload key, it wouldn’t work but it works for every other key, what’s up with that?
This is an overall great app and easy to use, but after this update my app switched the language to Spanish on its own. My phone is in English. There are no language settings in the app to change this issue. Please add them ASAP
It was working for the first month but after that the app doesn’t load. Every time I try to load on it crashes. Now I’m on the slowest possible settings ever.
I got the app and it worked great. After about a month, it decided to change to a different language that like it’s possibly Korean. I uninstalled and installed, but the problem still occurred.
The app keeps crashing on launch after 12.0.0. Please, i keep reinstalling it and then after closing it starts to happen Again and i have to uninstall and reinstall all over again. You need to fix this bug and update the application
