Contrary to another user‘s experience, the update loop problem is still not fixed. I just updated iOS to 15.4.1 and I can‘t get into the app to pay my bill. It tells me I have to update but the only option in the App Store is to Open the app…and guess what? I can‘t open the app until I update. And on and on and on….. please fix this problem so I can pay my bills. Otherwise, it‘s a great app.
Honestly, I hate this app more than I hate stepping on a rusty nail. The only reason I have it is because it’s the only way the local water company accepts payments aside from checks, and it’s not 2002, no one writes checks. It continually says that there’s an update in the App Store and I have to update, but there’s no pending updates. So I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and surprise, it still said there’s an update available and I must update before being able to log on. If you all would like to just come to my home and stab me, it would probably be a more pleasant experience than having to use your app. To the owner’s of this app: I hope you all have the day you deserve.
This is the first time using xpress bill pay where I cannot pick a date for my bill to be paid. I am on Social Security and I need to make sure my water bill is not deducted from my bank account before my Social Security check is deposited into my bank account. UnhappySandra
I cannot get into the app. It keeps telling me that I’m using an older version and I need to update so I click accept and it brings me to the App Store to update but my only option is to open and when I open it, BIG SURPRISE….It says that I need to update. 🤬 This is a joke! I need to pay my bill but I can’t because I can’t get on their stupid website or use the stupid app. If I had a choice to go anywhere else for the services that I need and not have to deal with Xpress Bill Pay, I would do it in a second. I absolutely recommend using another service if you can. 😡🤬‼️
This app gives you all the information you need about your account and allows you to make a payment from either of the cards or accounts that you have linked to it.
This app is my go to for a specific utility bill. It usually works just fine. All of a sudden it says “oops there was a problem”, and I can’t select any payment method, or pay my bill for that matter. This is the first month I’ve experienced this, so whatever update was done, seems to have messed up the app for me. Please fix! Logging in on the website is not nearly as convenient.
The app is currently glitching it says it needs to be updated and then I updated it and it won’t let me login without giving the same message over and over. I’ve deleted and redowoaded it multiple times but it’s not working.
I love the ease of this app. Just wish I could make multiple payments at once as I could on the previous version. If I try to pay on more than one account, it tells me it’s a duplicate payment. So I have to wait a while and I hope I remember to go back in and pay another account.
It will add Amex cards as payments and will log them but then won’t let you use it to actually pay for anything. Simple solution to use a different card but it does not say that anywhere in the app or the info about the app! It’s pretty bare bones on function. Other than that it functions most of the time, nothing to write home about.
It’s very easy and quick to pay my water and trash bill just from the touch of my phone. I didn’t check my information one time and I just click on it and pay my bill. It’s very nice thank you.
I love logging into my express bill pay and having all of my information at the tap of my finger. No need to put in my credit card number every single time! Thank you for making it so easy😃
Changing the app? Would have been nice to be notified via email. Also can’t easily figure out how to update credit card new expiration dates. Very frustrating to say the least.
Uninstalled and reinstalled but it still forces me to update app, except there is no update when I click link to App Store. Can’t use it so can’t pay my utilities this morning until I log in with the city. Fix this garbage.
This app is not user-friendly. I have two accounts I try to pay. I just get frustrated working with it. The old app was easy to use. Not confusing. One star is all I can give you. 😖😡😤🤬🤯
I love that my water company uses Xpress Bill Pay because it makes it so easy and fast to pay my water bill. I wish my other utilities would use this service too!
The app will not allow me to make a payment. I tried using Apple Pay it says an in error has occurred. I type in my routing number and account number. It says my routing number is invalid I directly copied and paste the routing number from my bank app. Then I deleted the routing number and re-typed it in myself and it still said invalid routing number this Isn’t the first time this happened on this app.
The app is really convenient and user friendly. I appreciate the ease of paying bills. The only issue I have is that sometimes the bill comes out before it’s updated on the app. I guess patients is a virtue.
What ever updated they did you can’t pay all at once now. It was claimed that there was never a feature like this, but I was using it for years. When I was using the option to select all bills I want to pay at once, it would go to the cart where the setting button is now. They created more steps unnecessarily.
Can we get scheduled payments like on the web app?
I would like to schedule my one time payment through the app like I can on the web app. Also there is a problem when my phone is in dark mode, some screens remain white, others dark with difficult to see text.
This app actually works unlike the last , still missing key details.
No meter details, no consumption history. Still missing a lot of details needed that requires you to login on the web anyway. Getting better, but a long way to go still.
Tried to login to my account tonight. Got an oops something went wrong. Clicked ok and got the message that app needed an update with the only option in the App Store being “open”.
I really liked it before. Now I have to use the shrinky-dink phone size on my iPad, because the iPad size was not upgraded. It leaves me feeling irritated, but it will get the job done.
I was charged a non refundable amount of $2.29 to make this payment. I can write a check for free. That is what I will do in the future. Bad, bad deal here.
Your new upgrade leaves me cold. Frustrated for days and no support. Still no support. How about a phone number? Every month your website tells me I have entered an invalid password and every month I have to change passwords. Fix your software, it’s a water bill. If there was another way I would take it.
My app tells me I cannot open it without updating the app and directs me to the App Store but I’m only given the option to “open” the app not update it. So how can I fix this?

Every time I open the app I get a notification saying it needs to be updated. I hit the update now prompt, it brings me to the App Store and says I have the current version. It will not let me proceed after. I have deleted and reinstalled the app-same thing. I restarted my phone-same thing…please fix!
