I play several Mobilityware games and Russian solitaire has become my favorite. Love the game. It is challenging but winnable. Lately, several times I have had to close the game because ads which block the game will not go away. The screen is not frozen. I can leave it for an hour and when I return, the same ad is blocking the game. If I turn off my phone, it will refresh. There are also new banner ads at the bottom of the screen which partially block the game FOR A LONG TIME! Besides quality games and graphics, one of the reasons I have always liked these games is because the ads are short. C’mon guys. Don’t ruin a good game with ads that block. I understand that I need to see ads to pay for a free app, but these are really annoying enough for me to quit playing.
The Russian game is especially challenging, each solvable but you may have to undo a ways to try a different approach - or if you’re not patient enough, just start a new game. it’s unique and strangely addictive if you enjoy solving puzzles. My only beef with this game is that the ads do not respect your current audio usage. For example, if I’m listening to music on Musi, or a dictated article using Pocket, or an Apple Podcast, many of the ads will pause the audio so it can blast the ad’s accompanying audio. (Not all ads do this, and not all have audio. Having the phone in Vibrate mode doesn’t usually prevent this.) I find that very rude behavior, enough that I typically just double-tap the Home button and kill the game so that I can return to my other app and start the audio up again before returning to the new game. It’s a shame for advertisers, since I’m much more likely to look at an ad if it hasn’t interrupted my audio program.
At last I found a different spin on Solitaire. I play several Mobility games. In fact, you are becoming my favorite game company, and I find Russian Solitaire fun and challenging. It may become my current favorite. Personally, I enjoy knowing how other players fared. It lets me know what I’m up against. If I win, I feel really good, and if not, I know I’m not alone. My one minor complaint, and it is minor, is the constant hints that I get whether I want them or not. I’m new to the game, and right now it gives me no time to find a card before I get the hint. Maybe that will fade as time passes, but if I want a hint, I’ll ask for it. That being said, this a a fun gam for relaxing and passing time.
Game is fun to play, ads are not overly intrusive. I am a huge fan of MobilityWare games. One of the prompts when the game is loading says that all games are winnable. This is simply not true, at least not in the last week or two. I play this game every day, and normally do win every game. However, lately I am getting a LOT of unwinnable games, especially in Russian. I just had one that literally only had one available first move (per hints) followed by NO available second move. The very next game had one first move, followed by one second move (again, per hints) and no third move. Not sure what is up with this, but if I’m suddenly getting 7 or 8 unwinnable games for every winnable one, there’s not much reason to keep playing this game every day, or even at all. Worse, a lot of them dead-end after just 2 or 3 moves. This has not improved and I note no response from developers. This greatly changes the dynamics of playing these games - if you know a game is winnable you can try different approaches and keep going until you get it. If you can’t trust that, then forget it - give a try and move on. Sadly, I’ve enjoyed this game but I’m dropping it now and, unlike every other MobilityWare game, I would not recommend bothering with it. Developers? Any thoughts?
Between each game you have to put up with long, loud annoying ads. I would pay a fee to get rid of these annoying ads. You can’t listen to a podcast while playing this game because it shuts off the podcast every time an ad comes on. When the ad ends you have to go back to the podcast and turn it back on. I’m going to look for another version of this game from another developer. I took screenshots of the loud annoying ads and will gladly send them to customer service. Where do you want me to send them?
I really enjoy playing Russian solitaire. It’s nice and challenging and very satisfying when you succeed. I’m really addicted to it. My only complaint is when you start the game there’s a message flashed across the bottom that is so fast that I have yet to read one. It’s just a sentence or something but it goes away before you have a chance to read it. I don’t know why you do that. Thank you for the game. I enjoy it
I really enjoy this game. It’s a bit more challenging than other solitaire games which makes it so much fun. I want to add that I did have one issue so I left a review and customer service replied quickly and they were amazing. They showed real concern and an eagerness to correct any problem. They too deserve 5 stars. I’m very pleased with them.
So I decided to try your new Yukon Russian solitaire game. It’s different, challenging, which I like. However...I wonder what purpose you think is served by the % won banners rolling across the start of each game. If only 19% have won that game, do you expect that I will close it and keep trying for a game with higher % won? Is it a ploy to make me watch ads. You have the same banners on another game, Addicted. I end up blocking it with my hand. If I want to know how many people are winning each game, I can always look at statistics, right? Ditch the annoying banner, please.
I love this game. The problem is that when playing, I am forced to view advertisements for other games, and these ads contain realistic depictions of violent abuse against women and children. These images are horrific and triggering. I just can’t stand seeing them so I’m going to have to delete this game. If there is a way to control the ads I’m subjected to, or to complain to someone about how offensive and inappropriate they are, please let me know. Otherwise, the easiest solution is simply to not play games that show them.
I don’t mind the ads for the most part, they are on for 5 or 6 seconds and they you get to play. But, now they have a really obnoxious ad for a 3D Match game that goes on and on for 30 seconds. The advertiser must really be paying big time because every time you start a game up it comes. Absent this one ad, this is a pretty terrific game.
Occasionally, you put up helpful hints BUT they are on and off the screen in a flash and I’ve never been able to read them. Is there a way to find them on the site? The hints are more and more annoying because of the inability to read them. So either eliminate them or leave them on longer.
Challenging and relaxing. I like seeing the percentage of previous wins. Think that, perhaps, when winning a game that was won less than 5% of the time that bonus points might be awarded. Also wish that games were numbered so that when an especially challenging game appeared the player could request that number at another time. Do enjoy the Daily Goals of some of your other card games. Is this a possibility with Yukon Russian?
I like knowing the difficulty of the hands and assume some hands can’t be won. Let me know on that one. I really like switching between Yukon and Russian. I would like the printed hints that show up when the app is open would stay open long enough to read. I’m a fast reader and have never read 1/2 of the words.
This is a great game and I would give 5 stars but the ads, which are very long and you can’t skip if you’ve seen 209 times HANG UP and it doesn’t go back to the game. You must restart your phone and log back in to get the commercial to go away! I’ve had to restart 5 times tonight already. It’s hung right now. I About to DELETE. I’ll give it another couple days. If not fixed—DELETE
I have had this game installed on my iPad for over a year and have really enjoyed it. I can only give 3 stars because an unnamed ad plays at the end of a game (& every one) locking the game. In order for me to play again, I have to shut my iPad all the way down and restart and log back in etc..before I can play the game again. I saved screen shots of the ad if it would help. Saddened to see this happen. Please fix.
I had some crash issues after the last updates but so far the apps in the MobilityWare series are working very well. I have been a loyal MobilityWare customer since the early days of the Palm Pilot. The graphics/sound and play on this platform are very high quality and engaging!
The game is great! And I get the need for ads completely but an ad between every game is a bit much. Especially if you deselect the option to only deal winnable decks for the purpose of a more genuine game...those can be quick games, so a 30 second ad between each one is overboard. Makes it not worthwhile, unfortunately, because this game is set up better than others with less ads.
This is my favorite card game. I’ve been so angry about the long ads between each game. Now we have some ways to move quickly past them. I almost stop playing it now it’s everyday again!
I take more pleasure from mobility games because they don’t throw multiple unrelated ‘solve this match or bubble or any other children’s level nonsense in order to progress. Straight games, exactly as offered without superfluous garbage. Winning ticket for me.
I play every night before to unwind from the day. I enjoy it greatly. My favorite is Russian. E-sale rugs the Nain design is unclose-able and you have to quit the entire game and resign in to continue play. I understand the needs for ads and I patiently wait to X out of them. This one won't respond. Please help.
The games and challenges are fun and keep me engaged but between every game or decision, up pops an ad. And the ad doesn’t always x-out; sometimes it takes several tries to get away from it even when you wait fro the X. It might take you straight to the App Store several times. Please offer a pay option!
Without the game given instructions on strategy and the percent of people winning any individual game is somewhere between two and 4% it doesn’t make one want to continue playing.
I love that they came out with these versions. I have so many different solitaire apps so I can play the different kinds. Can’t wait to see which one they do next. Maybe one app with all the versions and options? All the dailies could be grouped together.
I love that it tells you the percentage of winning is. I actually keep replaying the same game until I do win. After each game there is an entertaining “ shuffle” of the cards. I think you’ll enjoy it.
I don't understand why you have goals on some of your games—the player has no input into what they are or how to fulfill them, so they are meaningless. Ditto levels, titles, etc. I like many of your games, but would prefer to just play without all that unnecessary stuff.
I love playing these solitaire games but it keeps freezing to the point I have to delete and reinstate the games. I try to play daily but I have to delete too often. Please see if you can fix this. Thanks
I love the Russian solotaire more than the Yukon version. It’s challenging and it’s a great distraction if I need one. I understand that the ads might help monetize your game to keep it free but even for the few seconds for each it’s annoying. I would gladly pay for the convenience of getting rid of the ads. This is one app that I would gladly buy.
I grew up playing solitaire with cards. Graduated to my Kindle and now an IPad. Play every day sometimes a lot longer than I should. Today the screen went blank. Hoping it can be fixed. Love this game and this apt company
The pop-up ads that will not go away (lock) is a big problem to me also. I have to delete the app and reload it to clear them. This shouldn’t be necessary. Stoic
I was ask the question that after they added the advertisements did they bother me while I was playing and at the time they didn’t. But they keep adding more and more and it is getting worse so I only gave 3 stars sorry but it is a big bother … thanks for hearing my complaint.
I have a ton of mobility ware solitaire games downloaded and I love them! Was excited about this one and it’s great but where is there an option to remove ads like there is on other solitaire games? Really missing this feature and hope it can be added!
I love this game. And I like Mobility Ware games. I play Russian every day. Could care less about Yukon. But I’m out. I understand developers make $$ with ads and we don’t get good games if they don’t make $$. But lately this one ad repeats and repeats and repeats and I’m just sick of it. You can’t speed it up and it seems like I spend more time waiting for the ad to finish than I do playing a game. So…buh bye.
I love this game when I’m behind an ad-blocking firewall, but I spend almost as much time waiting for ads as I do playing without it. LOTS of casino ads, too, which is even more of a turn-off. The gameplay itself is great, but I’m uninstalling because the ads are so annoying that I don’t even want to open it anymore.
Love this game, but hangs up frequently. Any of the ads are in landscape and playing in portrait seems to cause issues. Sadly I need to find a version that works more often. Don’t want to reboot system just because this hangs up.
I have to turn off my phone and restart in order to get rid of ads that are causing. The screen to turn black with an “X” in the upper right corner. The game is unplayable for hours if I don’t turn off my phone. It is EXTREMELY ANNOYING. and it is seriously interfering with my enjoyment of the game. Please fix this.
There are several features of this version of Yukon that I like, well enough that I would pay a few bucks for an ad-free version. But there does not seem to be any such, and the ads are annoying enough that I will just have to remove it. A shame.
Wonderful game, but the tips that are flashed at the bottom of the screen everyday don’t allow tome to read them. I am a speed reader and cannot finish any of them. Thank you!
You should consider splitting Yukon and Russian. Although they are similar, they use different strategies. Then you could have a daily challenge for each of them.
This is a great game. I usually do the Russian game. The only complaint is that the sentence or 2 of information that comes on before the game begins is displayed so, so fast that you can’t see it, let alone read it.
I would seriously pay up to $15 just to remove the ads because I really love this game and after like 3 rounds I’m annoyed and switch to my other solitaire app that I removed ads from for like $2. Please give us this option!
Would you add a daily challenge to the Yukon Russian game? I have come to really love the Russian game, and play Russian 99% more than Yukon. Thank you for all of your games, I play MobilityWare games almost exclusively!
I enjoyed by both solitaires that are included in this game. However, the Russian Solitaire is having problems where it is just working out the screen. What’s going on??? Terry
Love the app, love the game. My only issue is that there’s this weird noise when I play it? Like a clicking every few seconds. I know it’s the app because it immediately stops after I exit the app.
Enjoy the games some are very challenging to complete. Would have give five stars but ads lock up screen and you need to close app and restart that gets annoying.

My dad loved an old game called Chinese Solitaire but it was never updated to play on new computers. But this is a close second and it’s too bad he’s no longer with us, because he would love this game.
I love playing Yukon and Russian solitaire but why does the darn game freeze up all the time and you either have to shut your device down or delete the entire game and add it again. That gets very annoying? Please check into that I would appreciate it greatly
This was my favorite game. Now so many ads and some block us from continuing play. Having deleted app I can no longer retrieve this version of Yukon solitaire from the App Store. Terrible I miss this version of the game….bring it back!
