The customer service is wonderful and that is EVERYTHING to me. They answer phone calls with an actual human being to speak to, and they answer emails and chats very quickly. Literally an amazing company to work with so far!! Thank you Zen Business for doing what other businesses have quit doing, thank you for the actual interaction and help! I like all the good reads for entrepreneurs as well.
I been waiting more then a month for my LLC to form and it’s been a huge headache and waste of money. “Unfortunately, your file was rejected due to the Registered Agent not accepting the online appointment , we are sorry for the inconvenience caused, it was an error in the system that we already fixed. We have now resubmitted your state filing to the state.” My registered agent doesn’t pay attention to the online appointment. I thought it would be easy and fast pace, but I was wrong. I would of been better of doing all the work and saving my 400$ spent for a horrible experience. When you call for customer support be ready to wait 30+ minutes every time. You can’t speak to managers or higher ups. My agents name is Eduardhino F. Hopefully nobody ever gets this agent or even uses this app. Save your money and time. I still haven’t been able to even receive my EIN. So my company hasn’t been formed it’s been more then A MONTH WAITING and no answer email or call from the ZEN business. Please stay away from this app.
ZenBusiness is an outstanding company. Their recent efforts in enhancing their app and incorporating more valuable features have been truly impressive! Keep up the excellent work, ZB! I'm eagerly anticipating using this app even more in the months to come.
I feel I should’ve went with someone else to register my llc because you can never get a response on time from them. I purchased an annual report 2 business days in advance from them and it’s still in processing on the app. Clearly they cannot backup what they’re saying. Now I will probably get problems thrown my way from the state because of their inability to follow through.
The idea and goal is amazing. I was able to start my business. I do not like the banking because there are simply better options. I have been trying to close my account for MONTHS. You have to wait more than 30 minutes to get a response and of course by then you’re totally doing something different, not sitting there keeping your phone lit for a chat. With such a huge lack of support, it defeats the purpose of having the account with them.
These people after me buying the largest platinum package that came with the bookkeeping site and software support try to upsell me a second bookkeeping software through ZenBusiness called money pro. This was straight thievery as I canceled this before. It even started to be charged $30 a month for four monthsunrecognized and unused subscription. And then refuses to refund me my money only refunded me two out of four payments so if you’re looking to get robbed and cheated yes this is a great site to start your business
Good app overall, works well. Wish it was more like the website where I could more easily track my miles on the go. Would be nice to be able to do more with expenses and the accounting part.
I have deleted and reinstalled this app several times and can’t get the expenses tab to ever load. It just errors out. This app developer needs to get serious about a major UI overhaul. Seriously. For as much as you charge me for things, you can ensure the app is bug free.
I paid $79 extra for faster filing, but the state approval still takes 1-2 weeks, even though the app said it will be done in 2-3days total. Don’t pay the extra money because the only part that is faster is sending the paperwork to the government, your approval still takes weeks.
I absolutely not impressed. It take almost an hour to receive help. Via text email or phone call, I’m always waiting for assistance. Seems to me the service is obsolete or I still have to find things out by myself. I pay $299 for a service. If I’m paying you for this service to work for me then I need you to be readily available to answer my questions. If not then I can answer my own within the time you take to respond. Im throughly not happy and upset. Y’all ain’t helping me succeed and to be honest I dont need you, no one does. I hired you for the ease and you can’t even do that
Not worth the price. They will upsell you on anything possible, and they don’t really do anything for you. Not to mention the fact that they will set up your LLC but they will not desolve it if you ask them to. Definitely just do it on legal zoom for a fraction of the price, and same amount of work.
I purchased the $299 bundle to get my LLC started. That’s all I needed. Well Zen decided to charge my card that was expired a year later and it didn’t go through and sent me to collections. Customer service said sorry about your luck and to contact collection agency. Absolutely pathetic.
The app does not offer basis business functions like recording time, expenses, mileage etc. If you want to be able to use ZenBusiness on the go using the app is not an option. You will still need your laptop.
This app and the service it provides is incredible. I was intimidated to form an LLC but this app made the process pain free. Customer support was very quick to respond and answer questions and it felt effortless. I love how all my documents and certificates are located on a dashboard. The name fits the app, Zen.

The price of the packages is not what they show! THEY OFFER MANY EXTRA SERVICES, they do not include everything with the highest package of 349. You pay more than 1,055. and continue paying every month for some services, I decided to buy the LLC with these people because they seem number one on Forbes but it's all for show. I had problems creating the bank account, they did not provide me support! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE! I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

This app is nothing but a scam to new users who are trying to get there LLC. Don’t believe me, just read all of the one star reviews and from my experience they are 100% CORRECT!
I chose to use ZenBusiness to form my LLC, based on the prices presented to me but I'll just say to be prepared to pay a lot more that what is presented. I've used these services in multiple countries in the past with no problems and this time, it has been unnecessarily expensive with what feel like "surprise" charges and fees. They kept calling, texting and emailing me. Even after trying to get them to just give me what I paid for, and let me take care of the rest, they have some kind of robotic payment system that tries charging me another $300 at least once per day, in addition to the $164 I paid, which was the amount that was due at checkout. Now they're telling me that the EIN was not paid for. The first thing they called me about was the US Government now has a filing requirement through FinCen and if filed too late can result in $500 per day in fines. It was roughly $150 for that. and roughly $150 to be my registered agent. I wrote to see if I could settle the payment for the EIN but using another payment method because I do not want to give them my debit card again. I'm sure, as a business they have very good justifications for what they do and I'm not interested in the "save face police" that will likely try to correct my experiences. I don't even like the concept of 'regret' but if I have any, this is one of them. I wish I had an undo button and I had just used IncFile like I did before. That was a great and straightforward experience but this was not. AVOID AVOID AVOID this!!! GREEDY! Giving them my debit card number felt like giving a credit card to a teenager to go to the mall. I had given them two stars, because they helped me form my LLC, but they sent this nonsense to collection, so I took it down to one. That was the minimum.
I am using the app on an iPhone 14 Pro. It took me less than 2 minutes to decide that it was useless. I just wanted a quick reference to some business records such as EIN letter. When you get these government documents, the text is small. You have to zoom in. The app does not allow you to zoom in!!! It zooms somewhat, but you can’t control what it zooms in ON, so even if you can zoom in, it’s to a part of the page that’s irrelevant, and it won’t let you navigate anywhere else on the page. So I had to just take a screenshot and then view through my camera app. I could have done that with just the website. The app offers no additional features or functionality or value that suits me for even the simplest of functions.
I used this company to help me create an LLC since I’m fairly new in the business world and needed some help. Hidden in the privacy agreements there is a ton of things that will allow ZenBusiness to keep your bank account information and charge you at will. They’re telling me I need to dissolve my LLC or switch my registered agent but they only assist with creating LLCs and the customer has to figure out how to remove them as an agent or dissolve the company. Until then, they will CONTINUE TO CHARGE MY BANK ACCOUNT AS NEEDED (I’m close to $1000 in fees). Very shady policies when they make it seamless to sign up and do business with them but make it tough for their customers need to take their business elsewhere. This wont be the last of me.
The first customer service rep I chatted with was super helpful and knowledgeable. The app though is alright but it would be better if it was more user friendly and intuitive to navigate as well as having similarity/continuity as the website. It is amazing though having this step by step process in forming our business. We should have done this years ago!
It’s true what they say on the reviews about thinking your getting charged a certain amount in the beginning then more later it can be anywhere from $500 to $1000 but they do it in a shady way and make it seem like less in the beginning then when you talk to them on the phone they act dumb to the shady practices. An I’m sure if they even comment back on this they will just use generic response like please call us. I did and you guys still don’t take responsibility for your shady practices.
Zen business teaches you the first fundamental of business. Service with a smile allows for a smoother transaction between company and customer. I do like how they remind you about services you didn’t know you had scheduled. Also zen business separates the ones who really want it from the ones who just want the idea of it.
The company gives you options on what to pick as a package when signing up. Upon agreeing to the package you’re guaranteed certain privileges, like receiving and EIN number business license and so forth. But what they don’t tell you is that you have to pay twice for their services, I was charged 348 dollars for something that was included on the packet, I cancelled immediately, should find a real lawyer if you’re thinking about starting a business.
Very happy with how fast it was somebody walked me through every step of the process so very close to opening my own restaurant following my dreams I would refer them to anyone who ask me how I did it
All I need to do is update my phone number and they make you call customer service! and then expect you to wait 30 minutes listening to their stupid violin music. I used them to form my llc and it was a nice experience so figured I would give them a try on the money side. I will be pulling every dollar I have in there and closing my account!
Before I even start logging in , I get an error message that something went wrong. Then it tells me my password is wrong. I can log in on a desktop NP. Have not been able to use it.
SEARCH YOUR STATE FOR YOUR OWN REGISTER AGENT!! Zenbusiness charges 199$ a year for registered agent purposes. Then they charge 150$ per amendment or change to anything regarding that business. I was screwed out if so much money only to find out that another company charges 35$ a year and doesn’t charge for any changes.
I would never recommend this company to anyone. They add hidden tax’s and fees left and right. I’m almost a $1000 in and I was told I would pay $250 and that was it. Now after overdrafts and lies I see the truth. MAKE SURE YOU GO TO YOUR BANK AND REPORT THIS COMPANY AS FRAUDULENT COMPANY TO KEEP THEM FROM TAKING MORE AND MORE AND MORE MONEY. STAY AWAY FROM ZEN BUSINESS!!!!! It’s a total scam and a half
They take your money and form an LLC for you no problem. Then when you decide the business idea is not viable they make it impossible to dissolve the company. Now they are calling me and threatening me with fees. What a disgusting company.
Do not use these people they will ripe you off with hidden fees and customer service is terrible, less than useful. Big mistake on my part to use this company.
Price was $149 but just got an unlisted charge of $348 that was only on the recent wasn’t anywhere on the site. They are absolutely impossible to get ahold of whether you go through messaging them on the app or calling them.
