Wonderful tool for contractors

I run a lawn care business and this app has been wonderful! We are able to provide very accurate estimates for our customers using acres application. The mobile version works wonderfully and as an added touch you even get access to the property owners name which is not something you get when using things like google maps. One time I had an issue where the search bar caused the app to crash. I deleted it to clear the cache, redownloaded and was up and running in a few minutes. The satallite images they use give enough detailed information you can see things like patio furniture, pools, garden beds, ect. Would highly recommend.

Invaluable!

My husband and I have been searching for a property for the past two years. We have not yet found “the” one for us, but Acres has proven to be invaluable! Not only does it show vital things like property acreage and boundaries; flood zones, and wetlands, it also shows us neighbor proximity as well as listing unique things like elevation, crops, health of the land etc. What a great App. Thanks so much!

Really great, except for one thing…

We’ve used this app to help us visually map our property. And it tends to work when we are connected to the internet, which is a big deal since we don’t have internet outside of our home. However, it keeps signing us out. Very, VERY not helpful when we aren’t in the house to sign in. Please stop signing us out. What’s the point of checking Remember Me if it doesn’t either keep us signed in or allow us to sign in? Still, my phone is locked, I don’t need the app to keep signing me out. Please stop it!

App is not free

I’m disappointed. The app seemingly is a good app but as someone looking to purchase land to settle down and I do Historical research, I was hoping this app would save me from taking trips to city halls and county clerks to find out who owns the property. In my opinion, I don’t have to pay for that information there so why should I pay an app to give me the information when it falls under the Free Information Act? The only free website/app I’ve found only covers the state of Georgia (SAGIS) but I do not wish to live in Georgia. I’m sure I can speak for many of us, we are tired of seeing apps being advertised as free when in reality you have to pay in order to get any use out of it.

Convenient but needs to be better

This is a pretty neat app and the county map is a nice touch but when I click on a property it doesn’t show the correct size of the lot. For example I clicked on a 640 acre lot and it showed it being 0 acres. Or I clicked on two square lots that look the same but said it was 41 acres and the other one was 25 acres. I suspect that it’s not determining the size correctly. But a funky one was I clicked on a 250 acre one clicked off of it then back on it it changed it to 79 acres.

Parcel owners

…names used to be available on the free version, but now you have to pay to see that. It’s one thing to add paid features, but unfortunate to take away features… ETA: I appreciate the response. I totally understand the small business struggle… I used to own one. I’ve edited my review to still reflect my feelings, but a little less rudely. :)

New update forces users to buy!!

I was a really big fan of this app until the latest update came out. Now you the only thing you can see is property borders!!! The owner information is now hidden and you are forced to pay the ridiculously high fees to see that info. Such a disappointment!!! I used this app all the time for research on historical map and would always recommend it to people who were interested in the same info. Now it’s useless to me because it’s way to expensive to subscribe! What a shame! 👎🏻👎🏻

Easy to use

As someone not super familiar with real estate purchasing, I appreciate the ease of use and the wealth of information you can gather about each piece of land. The photos and map are clear and easy to use. The app is well laid out and aesthetically pleasing for experienced and novice users.

Outdated Information

It’s useless as the information is outdated. It doesn’t even show our land correctly, which we purchased 7 months ago, so this is not useful at all. The developer can blame it on the county, and that may be, but it’s still a useless app regardless. You have no way of knowing if the information you are getting is up to date or not unless you already know the information or at least part of it, and that makes this app irrelevant and useless.

Best data and price out there

The free version has useful information but the paid one keeps getting better and has great information about parcel lines and boundaries, ownership, plat maps, and descriptive information like topo and satellite history.

Good utility—one flaw

This app is simple to use and helps me find the information I need very quickly—except when I’m on the move. Whether riding in the passenger seat or just walking, the map zooms out every time I travel a short distance. It does this automatically. If I spot a property while I am on the move and wish to use this app to look up its data, I will never be able to tap quickly enough before they map zooms out.

Awesome! Solid data.

I went down a rabbit hole and spent a few hours with this app as soon as I downloaded it. Who owns the world? This app tells you! I’m so grateful you still have access to limited functionality without first registering. This is something I’d pay for!

Love it

As an appraiser this gives me additional information and data that is otherwise hard to find. I love how it gives data on soil, topography and the ability to find additional sales while in the field.

Outdated information

Nice concept, app works well, but the map is SO outdated. Looked up my own house for fun, it shows the owner as not me, and not the person I bought it from, so it’s at least three owners old. It also shows some houses in the neighborhood still under construction or not there at all when they were already built when I moved here 4 years ago.

Finally! No paywall

This is a quality land ownership map. Idk how the developers make any money off this because there’s no ads and nothing to buy! I highly recommend it and hope they don’t change anything. Good job developers! I love this app

A must have tool for any land professional

They’ve got a wealth of information, including parcel boundaries, owner names, great imagery, soil scores, topo map. I like that I can easily find a property and share it or save it for later. I use their website too, which has even more.

Investing

This is an excellent on the go tool for an investor. It gives you many types of data in an easy quick to access format. I also use it to learn more about land I already own and to show tenants about land they are renting.

Amazing app

Love this app, I have no problems with it. I do have one question, how often do you update your map/information. I love the insights feature and think it’s really fun too look at farmland to see what crops they have grown. But all together amazing app!

Impressed at all the data they have

It’s great to see all the useful data and visuals they can pack into an app on your phone. Much easier to do quick lookups of things when on the go!

Great but this would be perfect

I run a rubber tire cutter cutting timber and use it to look at the property lines to flag the job and see how close I’m getting would be nice if u could draw lines inside a property as sometime we only cut portion of property’s

A Worthless Piece of Junk

If I could give this app a negative 10 rating, I would. The only thing it got right about my property is the satellite photo. The size, county, and sale status are all INCORRECT. Where do you get your information - the garbage can of a pharmacy? You need to fire the people who have done the research: a kindergartner could do better.

Here’s what the new update didnt tell you

We disabled the usability of this app as guess to be able to mine your data. You used to be able to use this app as a guess. Get property lines and owner info (often out of date). But now you must create an accountor it is a google earth alternative - but even google earth has property lines.

Missing search by parcel id

Otherwise great app. Unfortunately I have to keep subscribing to LandGlide until the acres mobile app allows searching by parcel id

Not up to date

Records are not updated to match current county records in places. Nearly all the properties that are listed, are listed by the same company, while excluding most others.

Was great, now they force you to purchase their subscription

I used this app daily, until one day I got on and now they’ve taken away the only useful functions and force you to pay for it. I’m very disappointed with this new update. Would not recommend!

DONT UPDATE

Of course with the new update it takes away property owners info… Now you have to pay to get the info, so now there’s other options out there if you’re paying for it. Oh well, glad I saved screenshots

It was a great app

It was a great little app to look land and its owner. All I wanted to see is who owns it. But they too now are trying to jump on the gravy train with subscriptions. If they at least did a buy once and it’s yours type of deal!!!

Update makes this app useless

This app is pretty much just a map app with the new update. No information is given about owners with payment. That was my whole reason for using this app
