Aircall is pretty good but not great. Its shortcomings are very large. To begin, the interface between the desktop app (Mac OS and Windows, I’ve used both) and the phone is stellar. It works almost exactly how it should. You complete one action on the web and you can see it on your phone right away. I can call and text with a specific number. The things the app does, it does well. But what it does lack is the ability to send/receive photos. I use this for work at a SaaS and my clients are CONSTANTLY sending me screenshots, videos, voice messages and so on. The fact that it’s 2023 and Aircall is still dragging their feet on overcoming this key challenge shows that their product team is out of touch with their users. They just released a new version where you can add tags to your calls and organize them. I don’t know where they thought prioritizing this over sending media messages was a good idea but it wasn’t. What a waste of their programmer’s and product team’s time. As such, my company’s is actively looking for options that support media messages.
I used this for work and it was great. The company I worked for seems to of left my number on the company account with my voicemail and all therefore it’s still active. Is there anyone I can talk to to get it removed considering I’m no longer with the company and haven’t been since May 2022 - can provide proof. Please let me know. Thanks in advance!
If you're considering this app, check Vonage instead. Currently use both and have had Vonage for 11 years and Aircall for 2 years. If you actually use the phone Aircall will be more of a nuisance. 1. **Message Loading Delays**: When you receive a notification for a new message, you tap on it expecting to see the content immediately. Instead, you're left waiting for what feels like an eternity - often up to 10 seconds or more - for the message to actually load. This delay is not just inconvenient; it's a real productivity killer. In a fast-paced work environment, every second counts, and waiting this long to respond to messages can lead to missed opportunities or delayed responses. 2. **Call Failure and Reconnection**: Another frustrating aspect is the call functionality. If a call fails or gets dropped, you're often unable to redial immediately because the system incorrectly indicates that you're still on a call. This bug forces you to wait or restart the app, which is not only annoying but can also lead to lost business or missed important calls. These issues significantly detract from the overall usability of Aircall. For an app that's supposed to streamline communication, these delays and errors feel like a step backward. I hope the developers address these problems soon because the potential for Aircall is there, but the execution needs improvement.
We have been trying for our business to get a great working phone service! We tried everything unitl we finally found AIRCALL! Excellent overall , and from the beginning the set up was easy, the app has amazing features that let you streamline the call process! Amazing features to manage a team and their calls, with 100% visibility of all activities by any user! Sound quality is perfect and there are never lost or dropped calls! We are pleased as a team by using aircall and have seen productivity and efficiency increase! Click to dial is a lifesaver, and you will never have to dial a number again! It is a 5 star service for us and happy we found you AIRCALL!!!
I’ve used the product for some three years now to run my business. It looks great and has a very practical client interface. However, call quality is ABSOLUTELY ABYSMAL. No, there is no better way to put it (it could certainly be painted uglier, honestly). My business looks like a clown show because of this service. I have struggled to change, because it took much time and research to get here, and I don’t have the time to transition now. Constantly dropped calls, robotic voice, massive delays in audio, missed calls, complete silence - you name it! Of the many times that I approached the company for help, so you know what they told me? Sit at a desk and hardwire! I’m a real estate broker. Do you know what kind of ridiculous nonsense is this advice? Yeah, it’s crazy. If you have other options, do your best to implement them. This should be one of your last options.
I can see what you’re doing here, but this app could really use some work because most people who use a VoiceApp system or on the go and need to be able to use their mobile device. The text messages are not syncing quickly and I can see the notification on my screen but then I can’t see it inside of my feet. Even after refreshing 2 to 5 times I have to close the app and then open it back up and it’s still not showing then I have to wait for the client to text again so that I can see the notification pop up and hit it from there. There’s definitely some glitches on the mobile app that needs some work. take some cues from Dialpad.
A cheaper version of phoneburner and readymode. You get what you pay for. This company is full of lies and scams. I had a terrible experience with this company. There was no customer support. Everyone I spoke to either lied to me about the services or made it clear that they didn't care, pointing me in other directions and never stepping up to assist. No wonder they can't compete with other dialers. I don't mind paying more for other companies because I have a peace of mind knowing I am not going to receive any additional charges than what is agreed. These people claim to be less expensive and then load you up with extra charges after the first month until your bill is higher than their premium competitors.
Using Aircall has been such an amazing dream come true. Not only is the team extremely responsive and helpful (shout out to Jake and Meg!), but this has been one of the easiest solutions to roll out across our sales team and our service team. Our sales team needed a solution where they could call and text from their phones, as well as have all that information inside the HubSpot CRM. In less than a day we were up and running!
My tech support and success teams use Aircall for work and have had a great experience this far. We previously used another company that was unreliable (would drop calls or calls would not come through at all), but since switching to Aircall we have not had these problems. The interface is user friendly. I love being able to take notes and assign calls to my team as tasks.
So far Aircall has been okay. We like the reports, Hubspot/Intercom integrations, call recording, SMS etc. A MAJOR limitation is not being able to send/receive photo messages (MMS). Been asking for this for 3 years now. Our customers use screenshots to report errors and we send photos for support, and this isn’t possible with Aircall mobile or desktop. I’d give it 4 stars if we could send MMS. But so far this has been an extreme inconvenience pain for us since we use Aircall for our Customer Support line. Devs: I’ve already mentioned this in your feature request page numerous times, so please don’t ask me to put it there again. Also, occasionally the mobile app crashes or doesn’t call out. Also, our reps in Canada have been having connection issues frequently this month. Not sure why. Also you can’t search your SMS message history via keyword. Which would be super helpful.
Been using this for a while now, simple and effective. Call clarity is very easy. I like the ability to assign for different users and also adding note, tags. Integration is a big part of the platform and the analytics that the app provide gives great insight to your team productivity. I would recommend the app for sure!
If you aren’t sitting at a desk using WiFi don’t even bother using this product. The minute I walk out the door and try to call someone on this app it’s terrible. Calls drop, you can’t hear anyone it just completely stops working. I have to transfer the call to my cell phone to hear the other person at all. It’s great if you are using the desktop version, but don’t even think about using the app on your phone. The technology isn’t there yet.
Aircall has worked seamlessly for myself and our team as it integrates with HubSpot and allows us to track our clients more efficiently. The mobile app is good when we are on the go and allows us to work on the go, but still track our metrics like we were at a desktop. Looking forward to more features!
We’ve use Aircall for 2 years to run our business. At first, it did the job. Now, roughly 10% of the calls that come in actually ring on my phone. I do not get a notification until after the call is missed. Very frustrating and makes our company look amateur and scammy. There is absolutely no way to contact customer support so I’m hoping someone reaches out on here. There are way better options for the price.
This app isn’t worth the money. $170/month for three phone lines and a billing team that tests you badly. Customer service is fairly quick but the number of dropped calls is very, very high. For a billion dollar-funded company I’d rather go with another company who actually tried to win your business. Also when you try to leave you need to submit a “cancellation “ form or else they’ll keep charging, despite requesting the pin and transfer.
I use this app all the time for work, it runs smooth most of the time and provides a great interface for you to add notes and rate your call. Having a really good ISP makes the app run even better however if your internet runs slow the calls tend to lag. Overall it’s better then most other apps.
I’m a veteran owned and operated business with 1 business partner. We were looking for an interface we could use for both our phones to ring at the same time using a number we ported in. They don’t communicate when they have high volume and I’m approaching now 30 days when it should only take 5-7 days. I’ve used Aircall in the past and this is truly disappointing. I was expecting COMMUNICATION from a telecommunications company. Save your money and find another solution.
Extremely disappointing app that constantly drops calls, delays notifications/text messages, and misses out of key and simple features that should be available such as file sharing (images, videos, pdfs). Even now, it’s been over an hour and customer support hasn’t gotten back to me with troubleshooting my mobile app that logged me out for no reason and won’t let me log back in.
This app is great!! Better than Teams or Duo by far! Love that I can use my airpods while on the phone with customers. However, it would be awesome if your status showed as available even when the app isn't in use on your device.
I have used Aircall for a year and 3 months as my VOIP and have roughly 3 hours of talk time daily. Really easy to use and set up for a team, about 95% of the time I have a solid connection. Also really easy to use in my mobile device. Cannot complain.
Very seamless dialer and integrates perfectly with HubSpot which we also use daily. I have had nightmares with support with other companies but they have rectified the small issues we’ve had almost immediately.
The only reason I’m giving this 2 stars is because I like that it logs to HubSpot, that feature is great. However, the call quality is HORRENDOUS. 7/10 calls have a delay, bad sound quality, are crackly, drop unexpectedly, don’t connect, etc. I have to end client calls then call back on my cell frequently. Don’t do this to your employees if you’re a manager contemplating using AirCall, it’s the biggest nuisance ever.
When I utilize the app with Bluetooth headphones, I have to repair my headphones after every one or two calls. It’s really annoying and affects my work flow. I only use my Bluetooth’s when I forget my wire headset at home. Any chance on fixing this issue? Everything else is good.
Just like anything, Aircall has its issues from time to time. However, overall the app is easy to use and track calls with and makes working remotely significantly easier. I would recommend Aircall to others.
I’ve been using Aircall for about 2 months now and I like the user functionality. Like that it is integrated into the CRM my company uses and logs my calls and information for future use.
Me and my coworkers enjoy using Aircall. Easy to use, and it also great for when out of the office. Clients and coworkers can reach you without having to call your personal cell. It’s all in the app. And the quality is great!!
Great app that I use daily it is very convenient and it is very fast I love how am I able to do everything here from my phone just how I would be able to do on desktop.
I have been using Aircall at work for 3 years and have not had any issues . Crisp clear calls everytime. Thank you for making this a great call option.
I don’t usually use Aircall on my phone, but with clients calling at unexpected hours, it’s been really nice to stay informed on that front. Has given me more peace of mind when I’m away from the office!
Need a toggle to disable the power dialer in the desktop app
The new power dialer feature got pushed live today and we cannot make it go away in the main app. Support team does not understand this request and hope someone else on the dev or pm side could see this.
It works great most of the time easy transition from computer to foam away from my desk and usually when I have issues, I’ve learned to use the debug your application application, data teacher, and it’s right back to normal.
Constantly dropping calls. Clients get frustrated because my connection is terrible. Very glitchy. Texting is a mess. Connects well with our crm but has made my job very frustrating as well as my clients. Would love to help make this a more functional app!
I’ve been using Aircall for a couple months and it’s been great! Super seamless integration with our salesforce, makes our lives way easier (sales team and I).
Not great. Not awful either. When it works, it does what it’s supposed to. When there is an update, it doesn’t work well and you’ve got to update it for it to work like it should again. Down side to that is that there’s an update every week. 🤷🏼♂️
This app is a great solution but running on a fully updated iPhone 13 pro max it crashes and drops the call about 10 seconds in consistently. It’s very frustrating.
If it wasn’t for my company I’d never use this app
Works fine when it does but that’s 50% of the time. Usually a 10-15 second delay between when the phone starts recording a call and when I can hear the customer and when they can hear me. Quality is very intermittent despite changing servers. Sometimes the app on my iPhone will just say unexpected error try again. Love some of the features like tags and notes and their integration with Zendesk. Has lots of potential but they need to iron out the little details before it’s a worthwhile product.
40% of my answered calls drop upon answering after a very consistent 3 seconds. The transfer feature randomly becomes inoperative. 50% of our calls go straight to missed call rather than even ringing once.
So many dropped calls and poor audio quality between customer. My wifi is solid and has zero issues with my work but this app struggles with simply conversing with others. There’s been lots of updates for the app but nothing has made a difference.
Worst calling service I’ve ever used. Connectivity issues constantly when I appear to have perfect connection and other tools are working fine. No personalized text messages go to your whole company. Crashes constantly. Been begging my company to use new service.
This app is unbelievably bad. None of your history is cached, and needs to re-load whenever you open the app. Texting clients is buggy and phone calls consistently have issues. I really hate using this app.
I would strongly advise against using this company for your phone solution. First of all, the pros. Pros: - feature rich - easy to use - HubSpot integration is great Cons - Constant dropped calls (even on strong WiFi, using the desktop application). - Several missed calls. Customers complaining about not being able to reach us despite never seeing the phone ring on our end. - Very difficult to cancel service. - No way to automate SMS - No MMS capabilities.
