Will add a 5th star if I get a response :)

So I’m using a macbook air(M1, 2020) and streaming it to a iPhone 11. I’m doing this because my Mac can’t run OBS or any other recording software very well, so I’m sharing it to my phone and then screen recording it there. It works, minus one thing: the audio doesn’t get picked up by the screen recorder. Idc if there is anyway to make this work, I will rate 5 stars if I get any response at all, since this app works perfect otherwise. Thank you!

The best of the best

I’ve tried with screen mirroring with so many different apps in the App Store. Most of them were either not working properly or have many false information. This app works right out of my first try and it works with wifi and internet to mirror my iPhone 13 Pro Max to Windows PC. Not only that, I can rotate my iPhone and the mirroring responses instantly. There is a rotate button on the PC app that I can independently rotate my iPhone. I need this feature because I was demonstrating an AR app on the iPhone, and I need to rotate the screen without rotating the actual iPhone. I needed this for my AR app. To the developers of this app. Please add keyboard shortcuts to quickly rotate the screen in addition to using the mouse. Thank you for creating this wonderful app. You deserve ten stars! Cheers

Free version doesn’t work, so “buy a subscription” 😂

Cool idea, didn’t work. Not even once. Only downloaded so I could have a wireless connect that wasn’t Apple AirPlay but it wouldn’t connect wirelessly over network. There was a promising alternative in “beta” that uses AirPlay through the app. Presumably this would prevent AirPlay from taking over the entire device. That was exactly what I was looking for but couldn’t even try it because it’s a premium. I’m not gonna pay to be part of your beta when the free version doesn’t even work. Inevitably, the only available option was wired, which I could literally do with QuickTime so no point in keeping the app. Would have been cool if it worked before asking me to pay for it.

Saved Time And Money

I needed a way to cast from my iPad to my wide screen monitor. I spent a couple hundred on various cords and several months trying to make it work but my iPad was too old. My tutor told me about this app. I thought it was too good to be true, but after three tries I figured it out and it is fantastic. Once I figure out it’s other capabilities I would be willing to do the in app purchase because it is so worth it.

If you ever want to stream from your phone

It’s pretty easy for me to screen share and have all my overlays and music playing when streaming phone games or anything phone related unlike streaming straight to the platform….thank you and for anyone using iPhone it’s screen record for browser not screen share….idk how to make it mirror from the app only from sharing it to the browser.

Little laggy, but pretty great!

I used this app between my broken iPhone 11 and my new iPhone 14 pro max so I could use an app no longer on the Apple Store. It was pretty awesome! It didn’t make either phones hot, glitchy, or anything. It was close to immediate movement on the relay, which was nice. At most a 5 second delay, but usually half a second was the norm. Definitely recommend!!!!

iPhone to Chromebook

Airdroid Cast is ok, it could be a little easier to mirror or link devices and when mirroring the screen of my iPhone to Chromebook the picture quality was perfect until running a game or opening pictures then it takes a few seconds for the Chromebook screen to become completely clear.

Pretty Good

This was the first app I have tried for casting my phone to my laptop and I would say it is really good. If you thought of trying to broadcast netflix with this, it won’t work. It is better to just download it. Aside from that, I did not experience any issues and I love the frame option where you can flip the screen if needed.

FINALLY a way to stream the iPad.

I’m new to the Apple ecosystem, but I needed a way to stream my iPad through OBS for livestreams, and AirDroid fits the bill perfectly. I can finally add a video feed from my iPad into OBS using window capture, and it works great! Even over WiFi, which I was initially reluctant about. Awesome piece of software, works great, low latency. No complaints from me!

Absolutely did NOT work

I have an iPhone 11, and a PC that doesn’t have Bluetooth (bought in 2011 so it’s definitely not new). I have the latest OS on both. I followed the directions from the app’s main website to screencast via their website, and thought everything was going well until the final step (where the PC mirrors your phone): time-out error. It never worked. I’ve sent emails and talked to their tech service but absolutely zero change. App will not work. I was told “try to use two different networks for your devices…” WHAT? Why? What’s the point in that? I simply want to stream movies from apps on my phone to the PC which doesn’t have these apps. OF COURSE I’m using the same WiFi for both devices, I don’t want to burn through my data on my cell plan just to use a bigger screen. Makes ZERO sense. Fix your app. It doesn’t work

Great with discord!

I was playing battle cats with my friend on discord (more like talking and playing) and we were just watching me do battle cats. It was a great experience! I don’t see why people shouldn’t get this. Your fire wall will prop say it blocked some features but let it get access it your computer or it wont work. IT DOES WHAT IT SAYS IT DOES!!!

Telescope

I used this for my telescope to mirrior from my phone to my chrome book and it worked great! One thing that would make this a better app would be to be able to interact with the screen you are mirroring on the device that is receiving the mirrior. Other than that it’s great!

Perfect for looking at photos as you’re taking them

Perfect for looking at photos as you’re taking them. I can stream what I’m looking at on my iPhones back camera onto my iPad so I can see the photos I’m taking before I take them and I don’t have to keep looking at my iPhone

The app is really good i though it was gonna be like them other apps and don’t work. But it works really good the only thing about it is when i downloaded it on my Chromebook i can’t make the screen bigger. And it’s a little laggy but over all it’s a good working app.

Need ability to choose computer screen or app in multi screensetup

I'd offer 5 stars if, when I am casting to a tablet from a computer with multi-monitor setup, I can choose a specific app, window, or monitor to cast from the computer or lock onto via the tablet I’m casting to. Otherwise, congrats on a fine product and feature set!

Great ‘free’ product!!!

I needed to be able to display my mobile device to my pc so that I could actually ‘show’ a family member what they needed to do on their mobile. Used this with MS Teams and shared my screen. Had to do this a couple of times with them, so thank you for this App!!!!

Slightly glitchy with fast movement but worked well

I’m not sure if it’s actually free or not but setup was fairly easy and it worked well Fast movements cause frame dropping but it wasn’t bad enough for me to not use the app. Overall pretty good

Nice app

It’s helpful, just need improvement in mirroring the screen to become faster like the app itself working from the PC not the phone. It will be great if we can install the game or the application automatically to the same application and using faster application. Well done guys

12 months ago i tried this. Product didn’t work from the beginning I informed them, they offered tech support and it still didn’t work, I wanted a refund, but by the time they worked through possible solutions it was “outside their refund window”. Wrong, but whatever no big loss. I cancelled my account and moved on. THE FREAKING CHARGED ME FOR ANOTHER YEAR AGAIN. I began to dispute charge, same deal “I’m outside the refund window”. Horrible company ethics, bad product. Going to report them the BBB and get my Cc company involved.

Worked but…

I’m tech challenged but I got the cast to work from iPhone 12 Pro Max to iPad Pro. Only issue is I can’t do live video because iPhone says "Cannot record video while on a call". So I can see motion from the camera but have no sound. Google here I come.

I love this app

I use it as a second screen on my iPad and even with slow WiFi it’s still runs like a charm so I can’t even imagine it on fast WiFi, but yeah it’s much better than the other ones that I tested. No timer, even webcasting!

Best mirror app!

Dell got rid of their app last year. Made recording and sharing art I do on my phone hard. Having the ability to do so again with an easy to use app made me feel even more connected to friends .

Unbelievably great out of the box

Just installed on win 10 and iPad mini, connected pc display to TV wirelessly, and launched DJI fly app on iPad. Connected DJI controller to DJI mini 4k drone and TV displayed DJI fly app which is the OSD of the drone as well as camera view of the drone! So now TV watchers can view what the drone pilot sees! Absolutely excellent!

Premium push

Unfortunately, it seems this software gimps even the most basic functionally to try to get you to upgrade. I was not able to connect via local network despite allowing access through firewall settings. There is poor documentation to help with this issue. If you want to pay the monthly fee however, you might have better luck!

Exactly what I needed

I am trying to display a mounted camera screen on my iPad so I can take quick overhead photos. This works perfectly to show my what the phone camera viewfinder is displaying. Thank you!

Great first time around

Just got this. Wanted to cast from iPad to iPad. It was extremely easy to set up and cast the screen- a scrolling song- flawlessly. If it keeps working like this it will be one of the best apps I have ever downloaded. And it’s free!!

I had been searching for a screen casting app that was free and easy to download and set up on kg windows 11 laptop. AND THIS IS THE ONE! So far I am beyond pleased with this app, keeping my fingers crossed that it keeps smooth sailing from here on out!🤞😁🙏

Was hoping for a stand alone emulator

I was hoping for a stand alone emulator for one specific app to use, but this was not it. It did seem fairly easy to use and does what it says, so I can't give it a bad rating.

This app is amazing and it ends the search of all searches how to broadcast your phone to the tv… this app broadcast your iPhone to the tv for free and runs smooth on tv as well!! Fast and easy setup!

Just what I needed!

My old Wacom tablet died and streaming is how I keep my work hours accountable, but I got a new iPad to learn to sculpt. I didn’t know how to stream from it but this app came to the rescue! Just what I needed! Thank you!

Requires monthly subscription

I was able to mirror my screen to my pc through the browser, but I downloaded this app to control my phone from the pc. It never told me the control feature was behind a subscription service until I had downloaded and installed their desktop app. If it was a 1-time purchase I would have bought and left 5 stars.

best for screening

This helped me screen share on my school Chromebook, but if your trying to watc vids or watch movies on illegal sites don't get it, but if your like me and wanna watch c0rñ without the school knowing then go a head and get it.😌

Worked just like it is supposed to. It may not have the best resolution but it’s still good. Also I love that I can hear what I’m watching from my phone or through tv speakers. Awesome job

Best app ever!

Works perfectly, just download it onto your chromecast and then the app will work like airplay! If you want to connect your iphone to your chromecast this is the app to do it with!

Terrible

I tried to use it but it did not work at all. When I tried to use it, it said I need the premium version. I am not gonna pay for this. So what is the point of having this if you need to pay for it. I thought the free version will work but it didn’t, it keep on saying that I need the premium version. So I recommend that anyone should not get this.

This is horrible

I tried hooking my phone up to my computer and even signed in and this stupid company wouldn’t let me hook it up cause it wasn’t on the same local network as me and I find that so stupid. For the developers either make it so that you don’t need to be on the same local networks for it to work or keep this 1 star review!
