Cool features with knowledgeable content
I’m very happy with the app and would recommend their Home+ plan. This app has many amazing and unexpected features that I enjoyed exploring. I had some spare time and used some of the app features, such as the diagnostic check on my iPhone and home network. The feedback I received was detailed, informative, and offered multiple solutions, many of which were free and easy to do. The app also gave me the option to contact a live “tech expert” via chat, text, or phone in a friendly and non-intrusive way, which I appreciated. I didn’t need any help with setting up devices or have any questions, so I didn’t use this option. I love that their live “tech experts” are available 24/7. I haven’t filed any claims or used their tech/install services, since I don’t have any problems 🤞. Everything is good so far. I would recommend their plan. I requested a “Dark Mode” option in my feedback. I hope they will add it soon.

Poor claims support
I feel I was out through the ringer and I can only conclude Asurion wants to make filling a claim as difficult as possible to prevent users from filling. The app does NOT support filling a claim. App chat support directed me to the phone customer support. Apparently, app chat is there for troubleshooting. They don’t say, “To file a claim quickly, go to the website. Instead, phone customer support took my claim information and sent an email directing me to the website. They also told me they don’t need the serial number. To log in to the website, you need to know how you purchased your plan and your login credentials. When I logged in, the website said my plan was not active. This corrected itself when I tried again a few hours later. I could not make a claim using Chrome. After trying different browsers, I finally was able to use the file a claim button. This requires me to fill out a PDF form. They want all the information I already provided by phone. The phone call was a complete waste of time. My claim was sent back for not having the serial number, which I was told was optional. This work flow is unnecessarily complicated and obstructive. The app, therefore, fails to provide minimal functionality. An insurance app should let you file a claim.

Love this app!!!!!
The Asurion app lets you see your protection plans, file and track claims, and chat with the tech expert! The app’s user experience is so clean and easy to use. I had trouble with my device and thank god I was able to talk to the tech expert and get it resolved within minutes! Highly recommend to download and make the most out of this app!

Worst Coverage Ever
I went in to get 2 separate controllers fixed, the first was an Xbox elite series 2 controller, which was bought for around $250. This had one issue where the joysticks would not press down, and when I tried to get it repaired they broke the controller to a point where it would not start. The second controller I brought in had the same issue, which was fixed quite fast compared to the first one. With this one, the issue was fixed, but now the right joystick does not move all the way, resulting in frustrating gameplay that has no solution. After this, I tried to file to get it replaced, but apparently the coverage does not include the repairs being messed up. Do not use this app if you want to actually get your stuff repaired.

User error is a very common thing..especially when dealing with devices..well I filled out my claim incorrectly online..tried to get help and then I attempted to fill out again..was prompted to print out form and upload..well because I made a mistake on my first attempt every rep I spoke to, including a “supervisor”, said there is nothing that can be done to fix my initial mistake and I will never be able to repair my device unless I get it repaired by another company and then damage it again…I hate that I invested any money with this company..they can honestly go to h3ll..if mistakes are cemented then every claim should be required to be done on paper

Refused claim constantly giving different reasons finally saying my item not covered happy to steal money from my account every month and not cancel. Cucking funts stay away from them at all costs. Just sent me a link to “deal” with issue, it’s the standard link to standard internet query these things are beyond useless Update. Claims denied zero contact from company dozens of hours on hold and still taking my money have had to close my checking acct to prevent them from taking money out even after they said 5 times they do not insure my product. Anywhere else this would Be illegal not just immoral

App does not work, just loops you. Have to go the actual site. Attempted to make my first claim after a year of paying for the “service”: You pay monthly and they take the deductible as soon as you file a claim, but replacement is never delivered. Cancels the day before delivery and they just continue to reschedule apparently. Looks like all the online reviews have the same complaint. I guess they just continue rescheduling until you give up? Also requires someone to be home for the delivery that never happens, so if you schedule the day off in advance just know it’s most likely for nothing.

Awful “Customer Service”
Filing a claim is impossible with Asurion Home+. Phone is one continuous frustrating loop with all non-native English speaking people that can only read their script and not deviate from it. Website is just as bad & chat is absolutely waste of time. Over four days trying to file a simple claim. Was on phone over 8 hours those 4 days trying to get help, then when that didn’t happen, tried to escalate. Never got any escalation, nor any resolution. Cancelled service with full explanation and received a scripted response that further hacked me off. Ready to get in to BBB and give them an “F”.

Won’t Accept Claim
I’ve paid for this service for almost a year and have never made a claim. I go to make a claim for my sons iPad and - denied immediately. I have proof from my bank that my account has been charged the monthly fee each and every month and Asurion continues to say my account is suspended and that’s why I’m unable to file a claim. I have called, and attempted to use their “24 hour” chat and it’s been “offline” for several days so you cannot contact anyone. Do not waste your time with this service.

Always complaint them if they are not right
Asurion is a total scam. They may easily fail (due to their own mistakes) to replace your phone when they are required to do so. Anyone who has encountered the same thing should send complaints to the regulatory authorities (ex. NY State Department of Finance, Federal Communication Commission, Better Business Bureau, and others). Also always make chargeback on all your fees to Asurion with your credit cards in that case. Let's make them do their job.

Scam service
Asurion will try their hardest to reject any claim you make. If you’re lucky, you might get some of their terrible service techs that break something for everything they fix. The only reason they have any subscribers is because they make it as hard as possible to cancel your subscription. You’re either on hold for hours at a time or they “accidentally” miss the 30+ cancelation emails you send them. Don’t fall for their trap.

$1000 loss
I sent my $1500 laptop in for a repair and it took them 2 WEEKS just to tell me it’s unrepairable. Then I asked for a replacement and it took more than 2 MONTHS (and this is with Asurion home+, their premium plan that’s $25 a month which was stated to speed up the repair time) and when I finally got the replacement they only gave me options for laptops $1000 less than my previous one. They’re just a group of scammers.

No way to download or print claim form
After having to resubmit photos multiple times I get to a screen requiring a claim form to be downloaded or printed but there no way in this app to download or print the form!! What is the point of using the app?

Feel like I got the run around, not sure what I paid for.
After they were unable to help me get my new printer to print, I had to call. Then after I did they gave me a number for manufacture warranty instead of dealing with the warranty I paid for And then they gave me the wrong number with no live service.

Completely Worthless App
I signed in and was unable to track my claim, edit personal information, or do really anything at all. If you try to file a claim it just takes you back to the browser. This app is completely useless, delete and burn.

Worse company ever !!!
This company does not disclose you have to use your phone 24/7 to approve a lost claim, i just got my phone for my new business and unfortunately lost my device, they denied my claim saying i dint use my phone enought, but to charge me a monthly fee they are so fast with no excuses. Scammers!!!

Save your money, this company will find any reason to not provide service. I made one claim and it was denied without a reason. Made several attempts to get clarification on why it’s wasn’t approved and no one has a answer. Cancelled and will never use again

Buyer beware on this plan! I had been paying in for 2 years and had some claims. My home theater projecter is not covered even though it lists “home theater “ as a coverage. My keyboard for my iPad was not covered and “keyboards” are listed as covered. I feel totally ripped off by this company!

Fix the App
First, they have really good service. I had a broken camera lens that cost me a lot of money and they were able to fix it. However this app is simply horrible. The Amazon login feature does not work and it will put you in a login loop. You are better off just calling in to file a claim and save your stress over this broken app.

ASURIAN
This company is a fraud! They make promises and seek to deliver them through 3rd party contractors, who don’t deliver!!! By way of an example, ASURIAN will encourage you to pay into their service for periodic performance diagnostic checks on your device(s) in order to tune them “back to peak performance”, akin to an automobile tune up. But, this is in fact NOT the case in my experience, because the third party contractors are not in sync with the policy of rendering a performance diagnostic and the concomitant service that may be necessary, as promised by of their hiring company, ASURIAN. I have found that the 3rd party contractor will refuse to service a device, despite the fact that you are a paid in ASURIAN “insuree”, because there is no additional money in it for them. To be clear, If your device is actually broken or non-functional only then will the 3rd party contractor provide service because there is money to made, but apparently with the ASURIAN Protection Plan, this is NOT the case. So, I strongly recommend staying away from the ASURIAN Protection Plan, DO NOT part with your money, since there is there is no protection to be had, only a promise!!! Instead treat them like they are radioactive and by extension that makes the purchase of their app impractical for use. As for the 3rd party contractors, if you device is broken or non-functional, then you will have to meet their terms for repair or purchase a new device, it’s that simple. But don’t pay a premium to ASURIAN, for you will get nothing for your money!!! You have been warned!!!
