Works decently well, but PLEASE add error clearing to the APP
Badly need error clearing feature. It makes using a Split Phase System Completely Unreliable. If the units go to sleep at night (with ac output off) My units sometimes wake up at different times in the morning and i get a MCMU Error every morning (If i dont leave the ac on from night before) because the units are configured for split phase function and if the other unit isn't detected, i have to go into my garage and reset the errors on both units. Its insane and happens almost every other day. I cant reset from my phone and it is annoying to not be able to activate my power from the app because the errors stop me. Also if there can be a feature added to schedule AC output turning on and off that would be perfect too!

Missing time zones and won’t restore output power
Some countries have more than one time zone. USA has 4. There was only one setting for USA, and it wasn’t mine. So all my graphs in the app were off. But after writing this review, Bluetti fixed it in less than 2 weeks!!! So I’m updating my review now. My system is working very well. I have AC300 + four B300. I used a Reliance ProTran 2 transfer switch next to my home’s circuit breaker distribution box to wire 10 circuits in my house. I can independently switch any combo of the 10 to be either Grid or AC300 UPS. I am now in process of putting solar on my roof. So far, I’m only at 600W. But I will go to the 2.4kW that the AC300 can handle. It won’t power my entire house, and I’m not going to deal with the 220V circuits, but this should reduce my bill significantly and get me through power outages automatically. Where I live in California, we have rolling blackouts, safety (wind) blackouts, and many damage (tree on lines) blackouts. So having a UPS system is very nice.

Wifi doesn’t work anymore.
The wifi connection used to work. True, it would periodically forget settings, and need to be reminded, but it doesn’t work at all anymore. When connected to Bluetooth, the app config screen for wifi asks for a router name and when you try to enter one, it send you to the phone settings for the app settings, but NOT the wifi config! The secret there, is to already have your phone connected to the right wifi hotspot, then the name will be already filled in, and all you’ll need to do is enter the password. At least, that’s how it used to work. Now, despite the app telling you that you have remote control of the device, you don’t. Rebooting the device doesn’t work. Trying to change setting from the device screen doesn’t work. Updating the firmware doesn’t work. Updating the app isn’t an option. The device itself seems to have been a good investment. The app though, is one of the buggiest I’ve ever seen. I’m hoping that the app doesn’t decide I don’t need Bluetooth connectivity, like it apparently decided I don’t need wifi remote access.

Useful for remotely controlling with no login required
Really like the latest update that streamlines the Bluetooth connection setup and more importantly auto-reconnects after going out of range for a short while! I haven’t bothered with the online login option since the Bluetooth connection is so convenient. The latest update cleans up the UI somewhat and thankfully adds dark mode, much to the relief of my eyes. Not sure if I like the new input/output graphic as the old one had more separation, using more of the screen, and was easier to read as a result. The only other things I would say is that the Silent charging mode icon isn’t intuitive and actually looks more like it has something to do with the Eco mode as it looks like a green leaf. Lastly, the one thing I think is missing is replicating the time remaining to charge/discharge that the on-device display shows at least on my EB3A.

Moving in the right direction?
I like that I can do some things in the app and some things on the device, but we should really be able to most everything on either one. For example turning on the “Power Lifting” from the app is great but we can’t do that from the device. We can tell how long before the battery will run down on the device screen, but that valuable information isn’t viewable from within the app? 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ Other than seeing watts used by AC/DC etc. if the app UI would simply replicate the device display that would seem to be the perfect layout. 🤷‍♂️

Tedious to use
This app is poorly designed and is tedious to use. Firstly, EVERY SINGLE TIME you open the app you must 1) click connect 2) click the next connect box which pops up 3) wait for it to search Bluetooth for devices 4) click your device from the choices 5) wait while it connects 6) hit OK after it connects 7) finally the information loads. You have to do this every single time! It doesn’t remember your device, it doesn’t pair, it’s horribly slow and labor intensive. The linked batteries don’t show up in the app unless you push their power buttons every single time. Actually they don’t charge unless you do the same as well, so every morning to get my batteries to charge from I must manually start them… It is a horrible implementation of what could have been a great idea. So much for set and forget…

Ac300
Warning! Save your money and return until better user support! I use my Ac300 as my electric for my van home. I have the car charger/ solar and all BLUETTI connections chords for warranty sake over the last six months. The app is no longer showing it charging. The battery is showing a charge cycle but the app does not update my battery level nor show it in the app. I have reinstalled the app twice now. I have no alarms and according to BLUETTI user manual it should work like a generator. When I first got the system the app was low quality but everything was showing up and it showed a charging battery now six months in and several app updates and I’m losing power faster and the app is not accurate to the equipment. I’m hoping this gets corrected for the money that is being asked. Not happy but hopeful.

Flakey and disconnect issues
The app is a step forward in managing updates and monitoring of the new Bluetti power systems however connecting through Bluetooth should not be the only way to get updates this facility should be available over Wi-Fi as well… The Bluetooth connectivity is spotty at best… I regularly have to power down and power back up the AC 300 in order to clear errors that indicate I’m too far away or there is no AC 300 within range when I’m 2 feet away… The app should also have push capability to alert when new updates are available when it’s flaky at best trying to find out new BMS updates or firmware can be tricky… I hope the app matures and is updated so far I don’t see a lot of improvement

Nice looking app, but lots of issues
The app offers lots of features for monitoring your Bluettis, but there are two major problems. The first is that WiFi connectivity is hit and miss, with a lot more misses than hits. Now maybe this is more a problem with the AC300s and AC500s (I have two of each). But at least one of them often drops the WiFi connection, and it rotates around them as to which won’t work. The second issue is that the status updates are very slow. Sometimes the app will give you old information as if it is current for 10s of seconds. You can’t tell that it is old information as the app presents it as if it is current. Even after stopping and restarting the app it will still present old data before finally updating some time later. When monitoring the app simultaneously from two different phones, you can get two different status indicatons. Bluetti needs to put some significant engineering effort into fixing this LONG present problem.

Needs time to recharge in app ASAP
This request should already be a feature. The Bluetooth is spotty to connect to and should always be on even if power station is off so if you needed to you could turn unit on from Bluetooth. That's not the case though. I use a Bluetooth smart switch to trigger it turning on and off. Also I can't view my DC output for metrics it would be nice to have that like we do with PV and AC. The time to recharge would be very helpful please add ASAP! Thanks.

Thank you for breaking the app. It’s now useless
In the last two updates, Bluetti removed from the app the capability to see the state of charge of each battery in the system. This for me is the most important feature so I can see how much charge each battery holds at a given time. I don’t understand why they would take out such an important feature. The app is now completely useless for me and I stopped using it. Thanks for nothing Bluetti. I was hoping that with this last update you would have fixed it, but no. Now if I want to know the state of charge I actually have to be standing in front of my batteries and checking on the screen. Way to go!

App works well using Bluetooth
Recently purchased a Bluetti AC200 MAX for our fifth wheel RV. Found this app through the Apple Store, despite the negative reviews we decided to gave it a try. So glad we did. This application works as advertised! Both our Apple phones and tablets connect via Bluetooth (note - only one device can be connected at a time) with no problems. Would be nice if all apps the we have tried worked as well as the Bluetti app.

App Review
It’s okay. I prefer the previous version more. The interface was more appeal and interactive. One big drawback with this app is that it’s now backwards compatible with the other “non-bluetooth” models like the AC200P which I also own. If they could do a software patch or something to the the older units where you could, at least, connect them online that would be awesome. Thereby, allowing control as well within the app.

Annoyingly bloated
I don't need weather. I don't need temperature. I don't need to know if it is sunny or what the wind speed is. All of this takes time to load. All I need this app to do is to load quickly and be ready for user input. I don't need it to lag while it loads the weather report. I don't need all of these conveniences. All I want is a battery percentage. And it doesn't have to look pretty. Just XX% and basic display info and interaction. No fancy gadgets and no GET AN ESTIMATE NOW ads taking up half of my screen when ALL I WANT is to see my % and charge rates. Jeez.

Decent & competent at was it does but limited.
The app provides good, not great, but good performance and reasonable Bluetooth connectivity distance. It displays many of the EB3A’s status features. One piece of information I’d like to see displayed as it does on the actual unit, is the estimated time remaining feature. Understanding the information is a measurement at that moment and it recalculates on the fly based on watts coming in and watts going out, but it does serve a purpose on the EB3A unit itself. Why not include in the app?

Good, but can be better
When your safety and well-being rely on your power back equipment , been able to fully manage it is a must. The app is good but too basic. Please, add notifications (power off/on, on battery, battery low, battery fully charged, etc.). Hey check your competitors apps, add basic info like estimated time to fully charge, estimated time to fully discharge, some basic stats of power-in vs power-out, etc. The app is good but it can be great.

EP800 with this app works great
I’ve been using the EP800 for over 2 months now and this app has been great. Not sure why there are all the negative reviews. Maybe all the issues were fixed with the EP800 whole-home solar system with battery storage. You can connect through either Bluetooth or WiFi. It’s been great this far.

Okay, but could be better
It does what I need it to, in that I can monitor battery levels and PV/shore power inputs, and toggle AC/DC on/off. A few improvements would help: I’m always needing to re-pair the Bluetooth connection. Like nearly every time, it can’t find the unit which is close by. Please don’t make updates mandatory on your timeline. With the update 2 days ago, it wouldn’t let me into the app until it did the software update. I frequently use my unit in off-grid situations. I was lucky I had cell service when the update was forced through. There was no way to bypass the update and use the app, which would have left me in a pickle had I been out of civilization. Also, I miss the water level battery indicator. It was fun. The new dial is okay, but I miss the old one.

A good start
App works fairly well, however the user interface can be confusing when trying to navigate. Make it simpler and more efficient to find the most active areas of you app. The forum section is very frustrating when trying to navigate. Overall a good start to the app , but a few more tweaks can make it even better. What about a darker theme?

Only shows devices offline now
Why did you take an app that was working fine and make it useless? I can't monitor anything now since the update broke my app which now always shows my devices offline and does nothing but re-prompt to enter the same wifi data that it already had when it was working. If you hadn't noticed the purpose of this app was to monitor my devices not display your ads, and now it can no longer do that. Thanks a lot for making all this expensive equipment useless if I can't monitor it.

This app is getting better with its update :)
Since first downloading this app and present day, I can say the improvements are noticeable and warrant some praise, there are a few things that can be upgraded, I myself would love to see a timer for both AC & DC instead of the current timer system. But overall happy with how this app is progressing!

Unable to tell if there is a firmware update or not?
I just got my Bluetti and I’m guessing if I have the most current firmware or not? It only says “current version” for ARM or DSP and the version number. It does not clearly indicate if you have the most current version installed. Since nothing appeared which would indicate a possible firmware version was available… I’m going to assume I have the latest version.

Several quirks but better than a stick in the eye
App frequently disconnects, or does not connect to all features equally. Sometimes tap functions work, sometimes they do not and Bluettis answer always makes it seem like there is something wrong with your phone or your system, not the app

App is great
I just got my AC300 set up with 2 b300 batteries and am expanding my portable solar array. When I plug in the panels outside (portable) the Bluetti turns itself on. I wait maybe a minute and then can look at the app to see what is happening via wifi. I can also see it when I am not home.

Cell Network Req. to use?
This app has only gotten worse. It needs some serious work under the hood. Why do you need a network connection to check the battery charge state over Bluetooth? Get rid of all the other crap options like forums. The only reason to even have this app is to check the charge state. Why is a login needed to use a battery bank? It signed me out and I had to keep logging in for a while. It seems to have remembered my user name/PW after a few times.

Have to login now
Up until an update that was released today, it was not necessary to login at all in order to connect to my power bank. Unfortunately, BLUETTI foolishly now forced you to sign up and login before you can control your device. There is no reason I should have to login to a server in order to connect to the Bluetooth on my power bank and adjust its settings. This was one of the reasons I went with BLUETTI in the first place. Definitely a step in the wrong direction!

DO NOT USE APP! Terrible experience so far.
We just unboxed a new AC200max, turned it on, and it was working and at 63% charge. Installed the app, as directed by the included instruction manual, and tried to do the recommended firmware update via the app. Long story short: this process completely bricked the Bluetti by deleting the firmware and failing to maintain Bluetooth connectivity to install new firmware. Called tech support, emailed tech support, and their claim to contact you within 24hrs is apparently false. Haven’t heard a peep from Bluetti.

Now it doesn’t even work
I used to be able to connect to my AC300 through Bluetooth without logging in or creating an account and control the BLUETTI. Now, it makes me create an account, won’t connect through the Bluetooth, makes you connect to the internet to control the device and will seemingly connect only to 2.4. Who knows because when I connect it to the internet, it says No Service. This is a mess. Put it back the way that it was.

Needs attention
Many people using an iPad run it in landscape mode, but this app only displays in portrait mode. That makes the app mostly unusable in most situations (like, having it open while the iPad is sitting on your desk in laptop mode). It's not like the minimal amount of screen data couldn't fit in landscape format. Please fix this.

Terrible interface, functions okay though
Whoever is in charge of designing the App interface should Fired. They keep making the most relevant information smaller and smaller while making the irrelevant graphics larger and larger. Is a twelve year old gamer designing this thing? The background functioning and Wi-Fi connects have gotten better but the user interface has gone from bad to worst.

Bluetti treated me well fast replies to my newbie questions. Doesn’t show Volts in app

Dark theme was better
… and easier to read. Now that they have changed to a bright white background it is far more straining on the eyes when camping or star gazing. Ruins my night vision. Wish they would return to dark mode or give an option. Better yet, perhaps follow the system dark/light/auto theme.

Spend some time on your app!
Why does it keep requiring me to reconnect my account and WiFi? It shows me the weather... Somewhere, but who knows where because it isn’t here! (Says it is 74F and sunny, but it is 57F and foggy [even at the closest airport]!) Not sure why the app needs a Time Zone Selector (since it can use the phone’s time zone), but the selector has only one time zone for the United States (and it isn’t mine).
