I think the idea is cool I just would like if you have the “Cleer GOAL” headset available with all the options. I can’t even connect it to the app. This could have been good.
Sent this in via the app, but it is annoying to have to select the device I have EVERY time I use the app. The simple recognition of the devices associated with the app and that are being connected is a basic function which should not be missing in 2022. In contrast, the Sony headphones app for my >$80 WF-C500 remembers device and last settings along with a other minor trivial functions designed to enhance the user experience. This app needs a significant update to match the level of the hardware is is associated with.
The basic functionality is there. There’s a bunch of preset EQs and 2 custom EQs to mess around with as needed. It would be nice if they’d show you the EQ settings and let you tweek them. A better EQ would be nice too, like an 8-band EQ (please!!)! The app should remember your device as well. Putting some work into the app would send a “Cleer message” that Cleer audio is a quality product. The user interface GUI is goes a long way in communicating what kind of product/company you are. Look at Apple, haha, but seriously.
I purchased the Ally II + earbuds so I could customized my listening experience based on the features promised by the app : battery level monitoring, equalizer capabilities, etc. I checked that my iPhone 12 Pro was compatible and that the software was up to date. Unfortunately, the app only displays whether my earbuds are paired or not. I attempted to register my earbuds with Cleer and wasn’t even allowed to submit my registration form (endless page reload loop). Seems like there is a lot of work to be done to keep the software associated to the hardware up to date.
I read the other reviews where users experienced functionality or connection issues. Luckily I didn’t experience such problems connecting my Enduro ANCs. Was able to update the firmware and the EQ settings definitely improved the sound quality (although it would be nice to see the default settings)
3rd time using the headphones, suddenly can only use one ear or the other. App is only recognizing one despite both being paired. Headphones are completely useless. Hoping cleer has decent customer support.
…but nothing else! Yeah I know I’m paired, I’m listening to music. Hoping to have some eq and volume adjustments along with the functions the paper manual says I’ll have in the app but nope, nothing but a screen that says ‘paired’. Yay
App gives ZERO options after connecting Ally Plus 2 earbuds. Just stays at the overview screen with connected in a green circular. My eight year old can design a better app.
Zero functionality on the app for the Ally plus II. I can’t even view a battery percentage. What is even the point of this app if it isn’t supported for all products?
Love the batteryife👍🏾 Hate the connection issues 👎
The headphones fit, sound and wear great! 2nd day owning, the app is stuck on pairing👎 2 stars because of worthless app. Most features cannot be adjusted without app support. (after original purchase) Update- 11/3/23 So I decided to attempt to get the app and earbuds properly paired together. So my method was as follows- #1 place the earbuds in the case #2 disconnect /delete the earbuds from the Bluetooth pairing list. #3 Remove the earbuds from the case, on the left earbud, press and hold for 4 seconds or longer to place both earbuds into pairing mode. #4 Once the earbuds are paired to your device, open the Cleer app and allow the earbuds to pair and the splash screen will open to the app💯💪 Voiloa!!! Success 💰 Second update 11/8/23 The earbuds disconnect more frequently than before the firmware update 👎 Whatever the code WAS, the connection was better. Now the earbuds constantly disconnect unless I stay close to the phone (maybe 10 feet) Any obstructions, disconnected Just received an update, so the Devs are 👍🏾 If they fixed the connection issues, the app works and these are by far the best Battery Life True wireless earbuds on the market, my Liberty Pr 3’s sound better but the battery life is ATROCIOUS 👎🏿 Overall these are a GO👍🏾💯 Last update- The connection issue persists,👎 I will replace these sooner than later with a more RELIABLE brand
With the Cleer+ app, you can unlock the full capabilities of your Cleer headphone. This app will allow you to customize and adjust the noise cancelling and ambient sound levels, the EQ tuning and firmware updates. In addition, it will also provide quick access to the products’ user manual, remaining battery level and playback time available. The Cleer+ app is compatible with the Cleer product.
