This app has been very convenient and reliable when I need it. I track my power usage (about every 6 months when I’m bored or when one of the kids left the space heater on and I need evidence for the investigation and trial) and look at other stuff. I used it this morning to alert them of a power outage and received a call within a minute or so telling what happened (no robots), so it connects to the service very well too. I also used the app to provide positive feedback on that kind young lady. If you live in the area of Georgia that CobbEMC services and like to use electricity once in a while, I recommend it.
Great app. I have been using it to manage my bill (the usage). It is a great tool to analyze your energy wasters. I changed 2 A/C units and I noticed the changes. Also added some Nest Google thermostats- Great investment. I did replace pumps for pool with variable speed. My energy bill is so different now but you need the feedback from this app in terms of usage by hour to develop plan. Obviously happy with the availability of this app.
I’ve been a Cobb EMC customer for a long time and I can only recall maybe 1-2 years since launching an app where it’s been reliable. You can’t login, without having to reset your password every month- otherwise it errors out. I resort to just logging into the website to pay my bill. This issue has been going on a number of years now. You are the only utility company I do business with that doesn’t have a reliable app to manage my account. Can you guys please put some focus on getting this right?
The reviews weren’t good but they were also a year ago. I just downloaded it, registered, changed my password & paid my first bill. Quick & easy. Very self explanatory.
Initially, the app was great. I could track daily usage, set alerts, report outages, and get messages easily. Now in 2020, I can rarely log in and have to constantly change my password from failed attempts. I can’t track or pay my bill through the app and have to call in to make payments when I can remember to do so during their business hours. A waste of space on my phone.
I have multiple Cobb EMC accounts, both business and personal. The app is useless to me if I am not able to pay each individual account separately. My only option in the app is to pay ALL accounts in 1 lump sum on the same date, regardless of differing due dates. I also need the ability to use different stored credit cards to pay personal vs business bills.
App was great til I got my new iPhone and it forced the app update. After that, it rejects your password after every log in and then will lock you out of your account both in the app and online. Ended up having to call customer service for a simple bill pay. There are multiple reviews stating this same problem! Please fix it!!
Other than paying a bill there is nothing the app offers. It doesn’t give you a copy of your bill. It doesn’t tell you how much electricity you are using. It doesn’t even give you a phone number to call. Hopefully the EMC didn’t pay anyone to create this worthless app but given its incompetent history, I doubt it.
It used to be a good app, but since the last update, the app become buggy and slow. The usage data is often lost and the app freezes frequently. GUI is inconvenient compared to the previous version.
Could you guys please fix this app? It has been completely broken and unusable for over a year now. It used to be so convenient but now you cannot even log in!
I used to use this app all the time and really liked it, but can no longer use it with my iPhone 10xs max, even though the description says it works with my phone.
Since I updated my phone, I cannot login. Been through the normal troubleshooting. Wifi vs LTE, uninstall/reinstall, power cycles. Does nothing now but spin on authentication screen. Was pretty okay before that.
Newest version of app does not work with iOS 14.3. It stay stuck on sign-in screen and does nothing after that. Please fix! The app is how I pay my monthly bill and right now, I can’t even access my account.
This app doesn’t have a single piece that works. You can’t search your address on current outage map. You can’t report outages; mind you there’s a place to do it, but it never works. Just a waste of space on your phone.
