To all workers included keep up the strong work obviously overlooked how important being warm is your work is dangerous & conducive towards scrutiny within. every aspect of your conglomerate. Natural gas I’d such a sensitive volatile resource. Crowns can be very heavy. I wish it didn’t cost so much but it feels real nice being warm in the winter. which it doesn’t get past me how much of a process it actually is from raw material to toasty feet w/ hot water. I usually do not have any complaints with Columbia Gas, but I have recently had an upsetting issue. I got behind on my payments and my gas was turned off. I went to the website and paid the past-due amount. Then I called the office to let them know I made the payment and asked if they could turn it back on. I have a gas-powered water heater and need the hot water. The lady I spoke with on the phone said I still owed over a hundred dollars more and my gas could not be turned back on until that was paid. I told her I did not see that amount anywhere under my account online. I checked the website a few days ago and it said I owed $22. If the lady on the phone had told me I only owed them $22, I could have paid it then and got my gas turned back on. I have been showering about once a week now when I visit a friend in Paris. I cannot wash my dishes or clothes. It’s terrible! And it did not have to happen this way. I am very upset at the customer service representative that I spoke with on the phone. She made a mistake that has made my life miserable!
I flip on my gas fireplace every cool morning and enjoy instant warmth. And once on a really cold day we lost power (and our furnace) but the gas fireplace kept the whole house from chill. I also bought a small gasoline generator that I can use to ramp up the fireplace fan to get even more heat if the power fails. Bring on the cold, we r ready. FP
The app is very easy to use. Only one problem for me right now. When I click on the billing tab, the app closes and sends me back to the Home Screen. I don’t know if others are having the same troubles. If so I hope to see an update to have it fixed soon.
I want to tank all the employees for getting our gas lines fixed this past week. I had met only 3 of your workers and they were all great guys and caring and gentlemen. Very easy to use very easy to pay your bill the only thing I don’t like is when you change your email address my phone number it doesn’t wanna do it so you having problems getting on the app
DO NOT UPGRADE TO VERSION 1.21, This version kills Touch ID and Face ID. After upgrading, you will always be required to use a email address and password to access this app. I just loaded the December 26 update on my iPhone 13 pro and my iPad 3rd generation and the issue with Face ID and Touch ID not working has returned. Way to go, now you are going to have to keep these clowns on the payroll for who knows how long to get them to correct their latest screw up. They put the "F" in FUBAR.
The app makes it easy to pay my bill. Sometimes I’m living check to check. So I’m hesitant to set up auto-pay. The app is an easy alter to going online on a computer (other than your phone).
This is a great app that Nisource has delivers to its customers. I can self service for most of the items myself without having to call the customer call center. Please bring in such innovative products frequently.
The tremendous, unexpected price increase in my Columbia gas monthly budget has been a painful and debilitating hit to my budget as a senior citizen. I lived on a tight budget to begin with, and this price increase has taken away what little extra spending money I used to have.I hate the thought of having to lose my home because I cannot afford the extra $60 a month in the price increase.
Idk how but I managed to get my bill under 50 per month. Keep it up Columbia and I might not include you in the blistering report I’m writing to/and about the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio. My main subject there is AEP aka the First Energy of Southern Ohio and I mean that in the worst way possible
I mad a payment that the app said was due. Got my next bill in and it was far more then any month I ever paid. I dug up the previous bill and the bill was $100 more then what the app said I owed. They need to get a more current bill owed so there isn’t a shock when you get the next bill
This is constantly giving me problems with no being able to log in or “the service is temporarily unavailable” and it’s just as bad on the website. I’ve had late payments because of this ridiculous app and website. But I have no other choice than to use Columbia gas so oh well. One voice I’m sure isn’t going to make them have better I.T.
The app is constantly broke or won’t let u enter information. 3 months now they tell me my account don’t exist but yet I’m still being charged. Never in my life has paying a bill on what’s suppose to be their home app been so painful. And still an not able to pay my bill through this app. So it use by all definitions useless.
App has potential but now when selecting to pay on due date (next week) it is defaulting to today’s date. Had to go to the website to make a future payment.
Takes advantage of their services. Charged me $50 for two days of service with no usage of gas. New customer that fell two days away from a new billing cycle, which they create. Made up fees and horrible customer service. Will be switching my place to electric and getting rid of gas. I do not like my money to support bullying
You can’t take senior citizen bills out on the third have to wait till the 17th of the month crazy but I get a email before that and I can pay it but you want to charge me two dollars for early payment that just don’t make any sense when it benefits Columbia Gas just one and one more money Janet Pritchard
I have no problem with the gas service; however, my bill is nearly DOUBLE what it was five years ago. I don’t see that we are doing anything different. I can’t justify it. Can you help???
Both the web and the app. I pay on the weekends. And never can. When you do system updates move the times around to not always affect the same customers please!!
This app does not function in landscape mode. Also, it displays only half the screen size on an iPad. It makes one wonder if they simply released it with out testing it. I suspect this app will be updated after update after update until they get it right. That is not too good of an impression.
i love this so much! the convenience of this easy to use app makes me wish all utilities would catch up and catch on. perfect way to go paperless. plus you can have multiple accounts and switch with ease if you need.
This app has Face ID option to login, but it won’t work and ask me to enter the password everytime!! Face ID scan is a fancy option with no use in your App?
Poorly designed application passwords don’t link to iPhone or FaceID.
Password doesn’t link to either faceID or user name. I have to literally go to my passwords and copy paste to use the application On top of that, as I write this review, all my text is whited out.
What a huge miss here who delivers a modern app with no Apple Pay or taking credit cards. I will continue to have my bank send them a preprinted check they can process.
