I installed this app on an iPhone X without reading the reviews. It didn’t make a sound though the volume was up. I don’t have a dog or a need for a clicker. I only installed the app to use as a joke between me and a friend. So I deleted the app and left a bad review. The developer reached out to me to try to resolve the issue and I reinstalled the app. What do you know, it worked! I don’t know what my initial problem was but the basic functionality of the app seems sound.
If all you are looking for is an app that clicks or makes any other sound you want for clicker type training, this probably the perfect app. The reason I gave it one star is the ability to use a laser beam to play with your dog. I had a rescue that was given up after the family found out the problem with playing with a laser. When the dog was a puppy they thought it was cute the way he tried to get the laser. When he got older and dug through carpets every time he saw a shadow it was no longer cute. And once again the dog paid the price for the stupidity of the human. He got bounced around to families until they discovered his problem. I found a simple solution - close my drapes when I could not watch him. If you delete the laser I will give you five stars.
This app does exactly what it says, and the “in-app purchases” are cosmetic for the most part and easy to unlock just by watching an ad. I love apps that allow this. Very very nice. Also the added function of the keychain dangling as I move my phone is cute and fun, and I appreciate all details like that.
For an app that should only have one purpose, making a simple clicking noise, it has an oddly long load time. The clicker itself has a slow response time and the sound isn’t realistic, so if you’re using this app to stand in for a real clicker when you don’t have it on hand it’s liable to confuse your animal and lead to frustrating training. Gave two stars because of the nice aesthetic of the app, otherwise this would be a one star review.
You would think an app that makes a simple sound and has changeable skins for a virtual clicker would be incredibly simple, but invariably, when I start the app, I can’t do a quick click to guide my dog. I have to weave through irritating ads and a failure of the clicker to make any noise. This is serious I’ll-designed. The clicker skin is fine. When I’ve managed to get the sound to work, it is close to accurate. Great ideas for those. But the tweaks to the idea for an app then crumbles. Ultimately, I prefer going back to the clicker-whistle that I keep in my keychain.
For anyone reading this and the reviews saying “To much ads” all you need to is turn on airplane mode and turn off WiFi and or service it will not only get rid of ads you will also unlock free skins for the clicker with out watching a ad but any way it’s great and amazing but maybe make the clicker a little louder!👍🏻
It’s pretty good. If you put it on airplane mode there’s no ads. For me if you open it before training and leave it open in the back ground I don’t get any ads when I open it again. I understand why ads are needed though. Maybe make the clicker sound more like a clicker?
Unlike some free apps that don’t allow you to use longer than a minute or so without an ad; you can use the clicker for a reasonable time before 1 short ad usually pops up. Nice.
This app is so good it is really easy to train your dogs with I have three dogs at home and I have been training them with this and it actually works/helps I recommend you to get it!😀
I think this app is pretty cool and if you want no ads just turn off all WiFi the only problem I see with this is that I can’t hear anything but that’s my only complaint other that that this was a great idea
I have watched approximately 2 minutes of ads trying figure out the app( I have clicked about 6 buttons). Every time you click a button you have to watch 20 seconds of ads. No clue if the app is worth purchasing the upgrade, too frustrated to keep trying.
PLEASE LET THE SOUND PLAY WHEN THE PHONE IS ON SILENT!!!!! I usually keep my phone on silent and I’m not able to hear the sounds with the phone on silent. Fix this and I will be using it more!
Sure it plays a clicker sound, but it’s packed full of ads. It takes ten seconds for the app to launch. Such a simple app should launch immediately and shouldn’t have ads.
First Download worked for a short time, then stopped. Deleted and reinstalled, with no luck. I would LOVE to have this app up and working on my iPhone 6... is this possible? Or should I buy a $4 clicker?
I have an iPhone X and I downloaded it, no sound, so I re-downloaded it and still no sound. I wanted it to help train my dog some more and help to make her stop barking as much but i can’t afford a clicker so I am disappointed.
