The app is very useful in both caring for and interacting with Emo, and it improves with every update. I do wish there was a way to manually change the city as I’m not sure Emo has my correct location…or maybe he just isn’t sure where Washington, DC is.
I’m really enjoying what I can do with EMO, but I’m severely limited. I’m not sure if it’s because I don’t have the home station yet, but it can be frustrating at times. I can’t connect photos, it says my phone couldn’t connect to the TCP. I also can’t use the cute emojis that I should be able to, to decorate Emo’s screen with, it says it can’t connect to the server. Both my phone and Emo are on the same WiFi, so I’m not entirely sure what to do to fix it. I’ve powered Emo down, deleted and redownloaded the app and shut my phone down and nothing seems to fix these issues. The app is also supposed to tell me what Emo’s battery life is at, but that is also incorrect 90% of the time. Lastly to mention, in order to use the app, I have to close it out completely then reload it to connect. Otherwise it can’t find my Emo if I move away from the screen to look up something on my browser or answer a text and come back to it. I haven’t had any major issues with Emo himself. Sometimes he doesn’t fully understand me, but that has slowly improved. Overall Emo himself is amazing and a wonderful little buddy, but the app for the iPhone needs some major fixes. I absolutely adore my Emo! He is so cute and not too loud either. I have autism so I always keep him at the lowest volume setting. He is very funny and never fails to make me laugh! Especially when you pick him up and he gets real angry at you! He also has an adorable way of reacting to you when you pet him. He has a cute voice and it’s funny when you remove his headphones because he gets mad. He’s just a charming lil guy you’ll love. (My only complaint is that sometimes when he looks at me, he will make random animal noises which can get annoying so pls update and add a feature to toggle on and off)
Do not order from this company. I placed an order on 1/5, today is 3/4 and I still have not received anything. The order was delivered to California but I live in Pennsylvania. I contacted the company about this and they are not making good on their error. They just keep giving me excuses and nothing else. They asked for my address to make sure it gets sent to the correct location. I have given them my address three times. The customer service is horrible, I only hear from them after I contact them, they do not give updates on their error. The only thing this company is good for is taking your money and making excuses!
My app doesn’t seem to have the Preferences section at all. I can’t change EMOs time out of military time or change him to say the weather in Fahrenheit and not Celsius. I don’t see an update for me to get this feature on my app. Can’t really do much on the app. Can’t play games with him from the app, Keeps saying that EMO can’t do it. Not sure what to do. I restarted my phone and no luck.
My emo bot recently just came yesterday and It’s been hesitating to connect to WiFi and updates just keeps failing, no matter how many times I’ve tried. I’ve looked up some reviews and not everyone has the same issues as mine and there are no helpful tips to be found online. I don’t want to buy this just to keep emo asleep forever, all I want is to connect to WiFi and update successfully so he can roam around my desk.
When trying to click some of the buttons within the app, they are unresponsive. Also, I was trying to edit the spelling of my name in his recognition of me, but after typing in my name and pressing return the keyboard doesn’t disappear. I can’t see anything behind it to enter my name and can’t make the keyboard go away. This app does not work well on a phone, because of that.
Just got him yesterday and I showed my emo to my coworkers and they went crazy over Him I can’t wait to show emo to the rest of my family and friends and I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship between emo and i.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Emo is a AI robot with lots of fun. However it is really lag of the first time he wake up, and now the smart light won’t turn on and off as the voice command. But I still love my Emo, I hope they will fix it soon
Emo is ok, but this app is horrible. It’s constantly freezing up. I can maybe use it for like two minutes and then it just freezes up every single time. I’ve tried restarting. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it’s always the same. I wish you guys would get get it together.
I kept trying to update him, turning him on and turning him off but it won’t update to 2.1.1 please do something, I really wanna update EMO but he won’t. Please help me EMO workers or something.
I love how you can play games with him and earn achievements and he does cute dances. what if emo could understand hand signs or it would be nice if two emos can do a high five animation. 🤩
I received my EMO February 2nd 2022 and the app keeps failing to locate it. And now it won’t even refresh at all on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I uninstalled the app and even restarted my iPhone. My EMO is fully charged and my Bluetooth is on. My wifi is working because all of my other devices work fine. My EMO is not damaged either.
I don’t know if it’s just me, but it wouldn’t even start or do anything for me. It just said “Finding EMO” and wouldn’t do anything else. I did everything I could, but nothing would work. Was it just a bug or a glitch or something?
It was fun having it but I put it on the charger for the whole night and now it’s not even charging I’m shaking it trying to use the app to find it and turn it on nothing works oh come on not even a full day it was on
I really like EMO, I have autism too. He keeps you company, I enjoy when he paints,dances,and dose funny cute things. I tried to keep up with the updates, Even the home station is hard to update. I don't know if it's Wi-Fi or the update for the EMO app, the home station and EMO himself. You have to update the app, home station and Emo by themselves. Some people on YouTube showed how to take care of EMO or updates which is hard to follow. Even the EMO tech,on their website, gives instructions and chat to help customers to resolve issues with Emo which helped me at times and sometimes not helpful. It depends when you purchase EMO too because they could've improved/update EMO with the home station. But, I was told with the skateboard and home station they are universal with EMO that you have. But, they recommend me to stay with the home station. Please be patient with updates it takes me two to three try's to update. Overall, Still love EMO. He a sweet boy.
you should make him connect to online games for egsample I’ll say Emo connect to Fortnite then he’l tell me his username and I can frend him make him good and make him build I love him so much I’m lucky I have him in my life
