These people are scammers… they charge 120$ a year to keep you in the same contract for 3 years… every experience I’ve ever had with electric companies, by the 3rd year they completely screw you… energy ogre claims to find the lowest rate and switch you automatically but they didn’t do that to me, they signed me to a contract that is the HIGHEST on the current market right now and I’m stuck with the contract until June of next year or the fee to cancel, which I’m obviously going to do… when I complained to energy ogre for signing me to this outrageous contract and told them they were a scam, their reply was “fake news”… I should’ve known better because any app that has you subscribe for a monthly fee but has no unsubscribe button, has to be a scam… you have to contact them through email to cancel… just set a reminder for when your contract is up for renewal and switch yourself.. save yourself 120$ a year… I paid 360$ total to this company to have them keep me in a contract with the same company for 3 years… I WASTED 360$ to have this company screw me on year 3…
Not sure how the app really is because it is constantly saying there’s no internet. It only works initially after downloading and then logging in but not any other time I open the app. I have to re-download the app to login again. I think the trigger though is not opening the app one time that cause the app to not work again but logging in the first time after downloading.
The EO app will not open. Either says “no internet available” or just won’t do anything once you enter your credentials and hit log-in. Not sure what’s going on with it but what I can tell you is I’m not the only one having the problem so it’s not a “user error” or an “issue with my phone provider”.
EO saves me from having to constantly search for the best deal and has saved me a ton of money. But this app won’t do anything for me. There are 3 buttons: join, login, or go to a website to calculate savings. The calculate button is the only one that works; the other 2 areas useless as pictures on the screen.
These guys signed me up for electric service from power next. The clowns at power next have the worst customer service I have ever experienced anywhere. Power next respond to emails about every 30 days. So I fired energy ogre and I fired power next. I'll just go my own way. I don't need to pay $10 a month for this aggravation.
So, I love Energy Ogre’s service, but the app consistently says “no internet” when I open it,’rendering it completely unusable. This has been the case over two phones, now - iPhone XS Max and now iPhone 12 Mini. Would love to be able to use the app - hoping an update fixes the problem in the near future.
2nd time our electricity was cutoff because no payment info was given to the company and we didn’t hear from you. Will most likely be changing companies or finding our own electric service. Very disappointing considering how long we’ve been using this company!
The app requires to physically sign out each time you open the app and then sign back in. Kinda of a pain when this should be automatic. Please make the app where facial recognition will open the app each time please.
Seemed good at first, then they locked me into this. Can get a much lower rate myself. Can’t believe I paid these jokers to get me that. Run away from these clowns.
