Great app but weird glitch
There is a weird glitch in the app and on the website where it keeps making you cancel the internet bill many times it’s very frustrating. Overall very great app though. Is it possible to limit how many times you can cancel the bill a month because I feel like this is only happening to me

SUPER FAST! Way better than cable.
FIDIUM uses fiber optics which means you have a dedicated line to your house. Super fast connectivity and reliable signal versus cable. Night and day change!! Spectrum cable uses coaxial cables which means you share with all your neighbors and likewise get throttled back if it’s a busy time. Do you ever see a spinning circle? Pixelated screens? Won’t connect? No internet found? I had all of that. Thought it was my router. Nope. Thought my phone was to blame. Not true. It was the service! Spectrum cable uses outdated technology which results in subpar connectivity and speed. It’s super expensive and unreliable. Some apps will require you to “connect to a service provider” so you shouldn’t ditch it all together. However, Fidium is far and away superior. Highly recommend 👏😎

Worst Service
Despite high hopes when installed, Fidium has been a disaster. Frequent drops, intermittent slow speeds, but the worst has been the website user interface. I’ve tried for months to pay my bill online, but every time I click on the link the site circles back to the page that I’m on, never completing the link, never allowing me to pay online. I downloaded the app, but I’m stuck on a page which states, “Searching for pods…” and nothing more happens. Customer service has been worthless. Aside from an overly long wait on hold, once connected the customer is bounced from agent to agent, each agent asking in turn for the customer’s lengthy ID number, despite the fact that they can easily look up one’s account by name, or phone number. Not a single suggestion offered has worked, agents are condescending, I’ve been treated as an old guy who’s simply not internet savvy, with no suggestions for resolution of the problem. When I asked, repeatedly, for a physical mailing address to which I could send a check, it was only on the third request to a supervisor that I received the info, with the admonition that if payment was late I could lose service. Had I any other option at all where I live I wouldn’t use Fidium, and certainly wouldn’t recommend the company.

WiFi or Ethernet?
A good idea, poorly executed. I’m not against the idea of a user interface to monitor a network and to make changes easier, but this app is far to restrictive. It offers no way to access or manipulate the router’s radio bands. They cannot be turned off and on, and there is no way to control individual channels. The reports it provides often mistakenly identify WiFi device connections as being Ethernet connections, even on devices that are not Ethernet capable. There is also no way at all to control the Ethernet ports. I’m sure it has other shortcomings that I haven’t noticed yet. The frosting on this unbaked cake is that Fidium also locks you out of the actual router’s administrative control functions, leaving the Attune app or the help desk as your only option.

False test results
The app offers decent controls and functions OK for most things. That said, I pay for 2 gig so if the service is lagging and a page won’t load then I run the speed test in the app. Guess what it always says, YUP! That I’m getting 2 Gigs up and down. When I run a speed test using another speed testing app, it shows my speeds are much slower. I have noticed the Fidium trucks in my area hooking up service, so I know there must me some interruptions here and there, but the app always assures me I’m getting max speeds. I can understand intermittent service interruptions for installations and maintenance, but don’t lie about it!

Useless and buggy app
Interface often freezes up and sometimes requires an app restart. Bandwidth usage reporting is a joke. Apparently a laptop sitting idle on gmail can download 50GB in 15 minutes (that is over 3Gbps even though we only have a 1Gbps connection). The parental controls are also very lacking in options. For example, there is no equivalent of a timeout (eg if you want to give a device a 30-minute window to access the internet, it isn’t possible — you can only unfreeze for the day, then re-freeze the device at a later point). I could go on and on… simply put, it is your everyday garbage app designed for the masses.

Unhappy Customer
I have had a lot of issues with WiFi on and off! My security cameras won’t work once again with the WiFi. My WiFi when down on a Thursday and called that evening because it didn’t come back on . They send me a message saying they won’t be out until Monday. Went all them days with no WiFi for phones, television and security cameras which I’m paying for and not able to use. Tech came out this morning the issue is on their end got it back on but not my cameras and for some reason my IPhone won’t connect!! Very frustrated customer and ended up canceling my service!!

Apparent bugs and unwieldy UI make this less than ideal
There’s a fair bit of stuff you can do with this app, but getting there is not always easy. What really irritates me is that when I try to set up port forwarding, the “Open a Port” button doesn’t do anything. I’m not sure if it’s a bug or something only a service rep can do, but some of Fidium’s quirks are extremely frustrating, and hitting a dead end that customer service can’t fix only makes matters worse.

Game changer
I moved to owls head Maine a year and a half ago and struggled making phone calls and using the Internet during this time. I was constantly having to move my computer and phones around to try to get reception. The Fidium high speed Internet is not only fast but faster than the Internet in my office in South Louisiana. Extremely happy with the new service.

Poor service since day 1
Was so very excited to get rid of Comcast. How big of a mistake have I made? Well I work from home several hours a week and haven’t been able to since getting this service. Issues with connection everyday, probably 25/30 times a day and that’s just when I notice. On Sundays I can’t watch the games because I have DTV stream and service goes out all day long!! Have called a few times and no correction yet. I’ll give them a chance but please don’t force me back to the corruption that is Comcast!

Too proprietary
Really makes it difficult to control other routers or range extenders on your network. It’s not very feature rich for people who understand router settings. Wish I could adjust channels and power, wish I could block sites permanently from the alert display instead of only allowing them. Would be nice to have nat settings available. Would be nice if you could access setting on devices you plug into the extenders, instead of them taking control of the device fully.

No customer service
Be careful signing up for Fidium. There is no customer service. For example the internet went down yesterday and after 30 minutes on hold an individual told me he’s very sick and asked a supervisor but doesn’t have any answers. I thought he was stoned. Sounded like he was in a stupor. Said they might need 24-48 hours but he doesn’t really know and neither did his supervisor. He literally said that to me. Then told me he had to get off the call to go lay down. Iv’e never had such a bizarre experience with a support department!!

Fidium, your job is providing internet nothing more
Why is my internet traffic defaulting through your servers to be filtered for "malicious content" by default? This needs to be an opt in event. There are a lot of issues with the new app design. It is confusing and important at-a-glance info like device usage by day is missing, info easily found in the old app. The app experience is so bad I am considering getting my own router with standard IP login and be done with this weird combo.

Technical support is non existent
My service was down for an extended time today. Third to get through to tech support multiple times, was hung up on by an automated message one time and kept on hold for over 45 minutes the other attempts. I never was able to get through, and when I followed the prompt to hit ‘Star’ for a callback nothing happened. If I could have given this zero stars I would have, I am seriously considering cancelling my service after this experience.

Fast but drops off for periods of time
Happy with the speed but I am experiencing drop outs that range from seconds to minutes. Also static problems with VOIP. Only 1 week since I got service so we’ll see how well CCI addresses these issues. I have a ticket in for service.

Make app better!!! Update it please!!!!
Please make app better and troubleshoot device and fix connection issues instead of just giving me a telephone number to call that no one answers half the time. It is not impossible to do because other internet providers let you do more from there app than you let me do from this app. Yall just created basic app with limited features and options. Do better and go update this app please!!!!!!!

Fidium is Excellent
The power of 1 ghz has revived all my old computers. As for my newer computers, I am able to have the browser, graphics, and programs load with all the components…b Faster👏🏻👏🏻. I have found the Fidium installers to be knowledgeable and respectful.

Worthless
For months now I have had signal strength and connectivity issues. Not to mention their app has been down as well. I can’t reset my Wi-Fi password or anything in general with my account interface. Incredibly frustrating that they have the audacity to charge $90 a month for horrible customer service, constant connection issues and now a worthless app.

Finicky
Overall the app has been decent. It has good features. This morning it had a different appearance and required me to log in. When I tapped the sign-in button all I got was a blank screen with “done” in the upper left corner. Deleted and reinstalled. Same deal. Not a good app at this point.

Unstable at best
We’ve had Fidium now for about a month and we’ve lost interest connection 3 times so far. I’m writing this review while trying to troubleshoot the 3rd outage. When the internet is up I’d say that it is no faster than any other service, key word being when. My wife and I are seriously considering moving back to Spectrum.

Recent update broken
I was excited to see the improvements in the release notes, but ever since I updated all that pulls up is a blank screen. That was 6 days ago. I’ve tried from multiple devices, and tried force closing the app, all to no avail. There’s no way to access any of the settings through a web browser so please fix the app.

Avoid at All Costs, Horrible, Worst Service
You can’t imagine how horrible this company and its services are. They are by far the worst of the worst. They actually avoid answering their phones when you have an outage, and that will happen several times per week. Apps don’t work, logins don’t work, reset passwords does not work, and more. Avoid this company completely!

App is garbage, no restart router from app option
I want to love this, but the app makes it difficult. I have the 2 gig download plan and even through a wired connection I sometimes get less than 25 Mbps download. I want to restart my router from the app, which I could do before switching to fidium, but there is no restart router option in the app!? It’s one of the simplest things that I never had a problem with before. There’s so much that needs work in this app. The “pod finder” doesn’t find donkey deeck. My signal is always weak I don’t know how. Just plain horrible first time experience.

Fix your app
My iPhone and app are up to date and it just opens on a black screen. When my internet is down I can’t even use the app to access my tickets or account number. This is ridiculous get some app support to fix your bugs, I saw the most recent reviews this isn’t just me experiencing this.

Looks good and relatively user friendly but
Really only provides superficial admin insight and capabilities. This app is clearly geared towards nontechnical consumers and does not provide tech savvy users with all of the info and capabilities that a fiber connection router should offer. The fact that it doesn’t support iOS face ID is also indicative of the level of application development/polish (or lack thereof).

Unable to load app
The app worked just fine when I first got the app now today I can’t even open the app to see who’s on my internet or restrict anyone from using it all I get is a blank screen I’ll rate higher when the app is fixed

They say we’re getting one gig and we never have. And now were using their router and we’re still not getting the band width that we are paying for. Not sure they know what they’re talking about. Now that we start using the router, they said they’ll be no more problems, well, it’s worse than it was before.

Not working at all
iPhone 14 with iOS 17.1.2 no longer can use the attune app. At startup the screen in black and I cannot access anything. I will be happy to update my review when the app is updated but I do hope you get to it soon since this is the only way I was told to connect to the fidium hubs in my home.

The network is always going offline
The network is always going offline; I did not have this much problem with AT&T or others. Not sure what is going on. I recently started with Fidium but it practically goes offline at least once a day.

One week in and service has been interrupted twice (that I have noticed). If this keeps up I’ll have to cancel, sadly. Price is low but may not be worth it. Maybe they will work out the kinks…

When it works it’s great.
I have 1,000Mbps but Wi-Fi has never been over 224Mpbs. Less than half of what I use to get with 700Mbps and have about 7 less devices attached. Not too impressed.

Internet review
When I had spectrum I could go to my shed or my porch and have internet I barely can be in the kitchen now and get service. My son says I only need the lowest internet it’s just me and dad on phones or Netflix. I don’t know on a nice day I like to sit on the porch but I can’t even get service out there anymore

You have to use the wifi that comes wthe device in order for this app to work. How stupid is that? I have my own wifi and multiple access points through out my house and I don’t want to use their Wifi so this app is useless.

Unstable App
I’ve had to reinstall the app twice in the past 3 days for it to load. We’ve been without service for 3 days now with no updates. Will have to switch back to cable until fidium becomes more reliable.

Needs updating
The app is good when it works. However it doesn’t even open now and hasn’t been updated in 5 months. This is the easiest way to manage your router, so having it not work is very inconvenient.
