I halfway wonder if field engineer and field Nation are the same company, but they purposely make FE such a piece of crap app that nobody will use it - to drive traffic to FN. This app has been garbage for over 3 years and never improved. Not sure how they actually function as a business. Compared to FN (which is not perfect but functional), this app is like an Atari game console but nowhere near as entertaining. I’m not going to take time to itemize the deficiencies, it’s much faster to highlight it’s only good attribute: it uses a great shade of blue (and not a mauvey shade of pinky russet, thank Belgium). I have the iPhone 10 and I can never get the app to open, I get notifications that there are jobs available but when I either open the App from the home screen or the notification it immediately crashes not even allowing me to see the login screen. This is a really bad flaw as you cannot use the web or web app version because they force you to use the faulty app. There is no support when trying to contact them. So I constantly miss out on jobs. Take a page from FieldNation or WorkMarkets book. If you cannot fix this major bug you will never be able to compete.
I just downloaded the latest version of the app it looks like they have revamped the whole app to some new behavior and it is smoother compared to older versions. I have been using this app for about few months now and look like this is the best version so far. Hoping for some more jobs in marketplace! And hoping to work more and more on freelance projects.
I really wanted to try this service out as an alternative, but the app flat out doesn’t work with the iPhoneX. (Can’t speak to other models.) This is a pretty serious flaw for a business model that forces you to use an iOS or Google Play app. Horrible representation of a product that cannot work on the latest iPhone that has been out for nearly a year. I have to think that a business who forces customers to use an app and cannot even get their own app to work after a year of development time is probably not a good business.
Also, even while setting my radius as pinged our at 200 miles from my location, to include remote work, there aren’t ANY jobs that populate. My information has already been verified. After I’d received an email from a “recruiter” regarding a position, that person is unattainable regarding contact. No jobs. No actual contact. No dice. For the record: I’ve already reached out to Support and was told to do exactly what I’d done. Hope they fix it and it’s not a PII grabbing scheme, because that would be unfortunate
After I signed up, the first step was to verify my phone number. Well I am unable to verify my number because this app keeps saying my number is invalid. My number is legit. It is not an IP number like google voice. Metro by T-Mobile is my phone provider. I also tried using FE in the browsers and not the app with no success. I am uninstalling the app because this is a scam

Other than the recently added iPhoneX support (screen size), there’s nothing good to say about this app. 1) It needs to be reinstalled every time that needs to be used. Same behavior it two different iPhones. 2) browsing through postings isn’t friendly yet, even though seems to be better than before. 3) The App should have calendar integration.
There is no function, that I can tell, for time enroute/on-site/finished. Also, received a “platform message” but it was blank. Needs some debugging, I think. But I haven’t seen much else that’s missing from what the portal had.
After you apply for any task , the app will not tell you if it’s assigned to you or not , even after you go to the location , I had a confirmed job and no contact guy to know if who I will meet and why the location of the company is wrong ! They are disorganized , careless , and wasted a day with a BS I shouldn’t hear . Don’t wast your time with them.
I am amazed to see how technology is radically redefining the telecom industry, this platform seems very promising for fieldengineer to utilize the skills and earn. The new revamped app is quite good and easier to use.

Hello, Once I close the app it’s dead and will not load.I have to download and delete the app everyday to see what’s available. Needs some updating in the iOS side. Other than that the UI is great.
This is really strange! This app asked me for all my important private information but will not open whenever I want to launch it. I received an email from Sarah Rogers on registering in this app for jobs which I did. After none responsive actions of the app for a considerable amount of time I emailed Sarah Rogers but never got an reply...
The app states that in order to accept a job I must enter my tax information. I have entered it in five or six times now and it always comes back saying Error Accepting Information, yet I get an email each time I enter the tax information saying my account has been updated. This app is very buggy!
Nothing works yet it asks for permissions for everything
I can’t view potential jobs, I can’t access messages or contact information, can’t even view my profile, yet it asks for new permissions every time I try to open something.
This app doesn’t work. I believe it’s fake. There’s supposedly work updates but there is NEVER ANY FEEDBACK ON WHO GOT THE JOB. I think it’s a ploy to gather information. When I try to contact the folks within the platform the don’t respond. Deleting this garbage. Good reviews on here are fake. If they aren’t, prove me wrong.
