This is a really fun app and have made my own personal flags on this app, but there is a minor... problem. When I try to make a flag look good in logo makers so that I can detail my flag, the flag’s emblem is not exactly centered on the center setting for it, having to fine tune my objects to fit the accurate latitude for like saying frames. Also, the flag options are very scarce and even I couldn’t make the USA flag because there isn’t any option for it. The graphics and the options panel is nit appealing and needs some sound and more graphics. If you do add that, then I will give you more support.
I purchased the premium on this app some time ago and greatly enjoyed it! For the time that I had it, it was more than worth the purchase. Everything was open and there were no ads: that was up until I updated the app. Once I did so, everything became locked behind “keys” and I was forced to watch ads to unlock more items despite having paid for the premium previously. And no matter how hard I try, apple refuses to refund me and refuses to recognize my reports that this app ripped off paid users. Yes, I understand that it may have only been $2.99, but it’s the principle of not sidelining your paying customer(s) by suddenly making everything they paid for not available. DO NOT DOWNLOAD OR SUPPORT THIS APP. EDIT: The app creator stated for me to click “restore purchase” in order to get my premium back. That would be an amazing option if it actually existed in the app. I scoured the app, watched an ad, clicked everything I could, and there is no restore purchase.
A few weeks ago, I gave this app a 5-star rating because it was actually pretty awesome. However, this app is horrible now because of the new update. For over half of the symbols, you now need to watch a 30 second ad. That’s hours of ads just to unlock some of the symbols! You also cannot see the symbol to the left of the screen before you use it on your flag because it’s blacked out. Yeah, this app has completely turned the other direction. Very disappointing. I’m going to recommend for the developer(s) to remove at least half (better off more) of these persistently annoying ads from the symbols, and to make the symbols visible on the left before they’re put on the flag. Again, ads ARE necessary for the developer to make revenue, so it’s understandable why there’d be some ads. But when ads are used excessively too much, like in this situation, it makes the app far, far less enjoyable, and not even worth downloading.
I love this game, its near and so easy to make flags. All you need to do to make them is to select colors, symbols, and your design. I enjoy the option of colors and templates we can use. It's a cool app but I think it needs more. First off, we need more space, we currently have 36 but it's hard to make more flags without deleting current ones. Maybe we can get 100 or something? Secondly, we really need to be able to use multiple symbols and emblems. Lastly, can we please have like flags that fit in cantons and stuff? Like union jacks that can fit in corners or putting other countries' flags in the middle of ours. I'm really hoping you can add our features into the app!
I was super excited for this, and I like the functionality. The features are great. However, it forcibly stops audio. Not a huge issue, a lot of apps stop audio on startup. Usually, you can fix this by muting the app in its internal settings, turning off your ringer, playing from the drop down menu after startup. None of these are possible. The app plays silence in your audio feed, forcibly stops outside audio to play NOTHING, and changes it back when you do. There are NO SETTINGS, there is no way to establish preferences or adjust this from within the app, and there is no way I’ll be using it as much as I had hoped.
This app is honestly severely underrated. There is tons of options to choose from, it looks really awesome at the end, and it’s overall a great app. That said, I do think that it can be improved. 1. You should be able to add names. Let’s say your making a alternative flag for something. It’d be hard to see what that is. Also it allows more customization. 2. You should add more stars. This is a relatively large problem in my opinion. Most flags have multiple stars. This would allow more customization. 3. Make it possible to import images. This is needed a lot. It would basically be limitless what you can do. 4.please make it where you can choose where a emblem/ symbol is. Currently, you can only place it up, down left, right, blah blah blah. But I wish you could drag it to wherever you want. And that’s basically it. ✌️
As a worldbuilder (a type of study of science, social studies etc.) I do love to create languages and different fan fiction worlds and solar systems! This is one of the best flag design apps I have ever seen in my opinion. The only thing I recommend is that you should add a feature where you can create your own symbol, that would be cool! Other then that the only problem is that the ads pop up a lot but, I get that this is a free app. Anyway this is amazing, in my opinion this would be the best app for people that need to make flags or banners! 👍🏼
I don’t know why, but I’ve always wanted to make my own flags. I could just never find the app to do it. Then I saw this app and because of the ratings, I thought it was going to be good, and I was right! The game was simple, good, and nice. If I was bored. I could literally make or look at my flags. I can’t get enough of this game. Although I think you should add some things. The first thing: Allowing is to attach multiple symbols on our flag (like 1-15) The Second thing: Letting us right words on the flag and add stuff like “A great world” or “Rights we shall not take in vain” or something. The Third thing: You know the uk flag that is like always on the flag. You should make that a image and let us attach it wherever. But keep it to where it’s everywhere on the flag though. So I hope this review made the game better. Thank You for making a amazing game! 😄
Overall great, but needs more features and less ads
I downloaded it and so far, enjoy the app. It has very amazing features and is very fun to use. However, I would appreciate if it had more features such as more symbols in the nature, animals, etc. categories. Also it would be great if there were more base designs and overlays. Finally, I would highly appreciate if there were less ads because so many pop up every few minutes or so. Overall, the app is fantastic, it just needs a little bit more updating. Thank you.
I really enjoy your app, however there are a few things that didn’t really meet my needs. I would appreciate it if you would allow more than 1 symbol to be selected for the flags, and I would also like it if you would offer the choice to make it full-screen for people who use this app on iPhones as well. Also I would really like it if you offered to give another overlay or base option of 13-15 stripes instead of just going to twelve. Everything else is perfect. I really enjoy your app.
This app is great, every thing from making your base design, you designing the symbol! I have used this for many flags but I do have one suggestion: In this game, we don’t have the option to put multiple symbols in, yes, I know, it would break the rules of simple flags, but still for fun, it would be good to have multiple symbols so you could put a coat of arms or something on your flag instead of only being able to put one symbol. Please read this, developers, Thank you.
The symbols you can choose from is really gods as well as the app it self but I feel like it needs more, more flag layouts like multi colored stripes with more than just 2 color option and the ability to import images to use as symbols or even the ability to stack symbols on top of each other like a crown on a shield or a sickle under a flower, I’m sure it’s hard work working on an app but I’d like some of these changes and i wouldn’t mind if they didn’t because I still love this app
The app overall is great, but there are some bugs I’d like to report. One, actually. In the select emblem logo sect, all of the logos blend in with the background and I can’t see them. Now suggestions: Custom flag ratios. You can shape your flag differently, like Swiss flags, PLC flags, Nepal flags. Names. Give a name for the country owning the flag. Maps. This can be its own separate thing a new section called “Information”, showing lore, info about the nation, and a map of the nation with its flag at the top.
This app is really good at what it does. It’s perfect for making flags for a fake country’s, friend groups, businesses, anything you want really. It does have a lot of ads though but seeing as it’s free and works like a charm, it’s not really an issue. Docked a star because of some minor limitations, however. You can’t have multiple emblems on a flag, the number of stripes only going up to twelve, and the fact you can’t write anything on them, but other than that, it’s fantastic. I highly recommend.
When i first got my iPad, i installed this app because im CRAZY for flags but unfortunately didn’t know how to make any. Some ads popped up in the middle of while i was making a flag but it’s fine, i can deal with that. But now this app is straight up garbage. You can’t see half of the symbols due to them being blacked out for some reason, half of the symbols that are visible atleast you have to watch a 30 second long ad for, and when you DO watch the video for a symbol it doesn’t even appear on screen. I know the devs of this need money but come on. The old version still had ads and was fine. Please respond, this update is annoying. Real annoying.
The game is wonderful in my opinion but there are things that can be added that in my opinion will make it so much better, such as having the ability to change the position of the emblem and the symbol having mote options for emblem and finally being able to add multiple emblems symbolsoverlays etc..
The yellows are not accurate when you use them. You’ll think you’re picking a bright basic yellow, and it looks like faded gold on the flag. I understand some adds are okay on a free app but there is an INSANE amount of them. To the point where I don’t want to use the free or paid version. It does get some stars for being simple and straight forward. I did enjoy it a little while but the combination of inaccurate colors and way too many adds did it in for me.
Overall the best (free) flag design app out there. Very easy to use and there’s a lot of tricks you can do. Things I would suggest adding: 1. More flag slots. Please. I can’t hold all these flags 2. More options. I like the current set of options well enough but I would appreciate the ability to mix more colors (rainbow Inca flags anyone?) and symbols, rather than being restricted to 1 or 2 per category 3. An in-app purchase that allows us to bypass ads. Idk what the pricing would be or if this would even work well, but it’d be nice 4. Moar symbols! I want a gladius option, Spears, and scutum at the least! And let us add words and initials! Nova Roma flag must be made with SPQR included! Other than that, very good, best of its kind
So I really Think that some fans of this game might want to have two badges like for example the swastika or the eagle which one would you pick eagle but it would be nice to have twoAnd also maybe make a Second game where you can make your own countries and put the flags that you had from this game 10 out of 10
It’s the best app to create your own flag! The only thing that I don’t like is that when I want to add another star it doesn’t let me. I think you should have the option to add more symbols. Also please add more lines because the limit is 12. Please add up to a higher number. That’s the only thing I don’t like, BUT ITS THE BEST!!! Thank you for a such amazing flag designer app.
Hi I am an avid historian and world builder ( check out the MC server Stoneworks ) and since their is so many nations that I interact with and I make a ton of flags….. this app has been so useful for that but it needs editing 1: more symbols: their is so many symbols on their that I need like a frog and a three headed lion. 2: able to use more than one symbol

Good app if you want a basic flag although ran into an headache when I wasn’t able to add more than one crest. And won’t let you place a shield inside of the crest it always puts the crest inside of the shield. What I was going for was a double headed eagle crest. With a shield on the inside on the center of the eagle. With a crown inside of the shield. I was only able to create a flag with just the eagle because it would keep putting the eagle inside of the shield…
This is a great tool to use in creating your own flag, with hundreds of symbols and dozens of patterns, you’ll probably find something you like. But due to the amount of ads and the time they take I can’t give this 5 stars. Everything else is pretty good though. I’d also like to suggest an option to add more symbols if that isn’t already a thing.
On this app I can make ANY flag I can dream of… well sorta, you see if we could like draw the flags on a drawing pad that would be much better. There is one problem.. some of the symbols aren’t free and by some I mean like 70% of them. I hate that and I was just wondering if you could fix that. If you could that would be so good.
If you want to unlock anything it take you 5 second of ad to skip the ad, and that’s only one plus you can’t see what you want to unlock and you don’t even start with anything unlocked I really don’t see a Mac user getting this app but having a iPhone, the tools aren’t there to make art pr flags for the most part so an iPhone user would probably download this if they want to make flags but then they realize instantly that this is just a ad.
As someone who likes to create custom flags for custom nations in some games, I’m overall very happy with this. I would like to suggest if it’s possible, the option to add text to flags (such as national mottos and such), the ability to add multiple symbols, and perhaps a “generate flag” button as some future features though.
Its good for getting the job done if you want something simple, although i do have a few suggestions, currently you can only have one symbol on your flag, it’s be nice if you could add more, as well as more historical symbols (i.e: The Roman Eagle, The Swastika, The SS, or a smaller version of the british and french flags)
This is easily the best flag designer app out there. It’s easy and gives you a lot of options for design. The only real thing I could think to improve is the ability to add more then one symbol or to make your own symbol. There are a lot of ads but I don’t mind them(I know it’s a free) but over all i like it. 4.5/5
I like it, very nicely made and sometimes fun to just make random flags. However, it is a little annoying how the emblems are not always centered or fine tuned. I also suggest adding the ability to have 3 or 4 different overlays at once for truly unique flags. Also probably a few less ads so they don’t get in the way
This is THE BEST app for flag creating. I hope people who see this review download it cause it's da best!! I recomendable it if you have a big imagination. :-) The only reason I gave 4 stars is I wish that you could Label your creations. So, if The creator reads this, that is a request.
Don’t got much time, but I’ve gotta say, really detailed and lots of ways to get creative with the designs with this app. It’s helped me create maps for my projects, especially since I’m on budget, and it’s a really great app, recommend.
I made a purchase to have every symbol in the creator, and now I guess I just have unlock them all by watching one hundred billion adds. I would literally get on this at least once a day to mess around, and now all of my important flags are gone to. Can you please just put the option to buy no ads again? Even though I already paid for it.
i tried the free version of this app. it seemed like it could have been kind of fun. if only there wasn’t a 30 second ad every time i made a selection on my flag design. i expected there to be ads, of course. but the frequency of the ads in this app make it not only impossible to enjoy but nearly impossible to actually design any flags because i’m being interrupted every few moments by an entire 20-30 second advertisement.
The apps great but here some suggestions that may make it better 1.more options like X’s, crosses, the Nordic cross, stripes, etc. 2. The ability to use more than 2-3 colors. In conclusion, I love this app, but I would love it more if you added these.
The app is extremely fun useful it is tricky in the beginning but after a couple of minutes you get used to it. There are a couple of adds but not to many out of all a great game.
Simple, Smart, and beautifully amazing. There are no in game purchases which is so amazing and very few adds. When placing an emblem in the center of my Nordic cross flag, I thought the emblem would appear in the middle of the flag, but instead it appeared in the middle of the cross. This app has exceeded my expectations!
It’s a very good app. Works well, good amount of customization. The only thing I’d want is a bit more customization. For example, being able to change the color of a single line, or adding two separate heraldries.
Great app with a lot of symbols, but I wish they added more historical and religious symbols. One symbol I think would be an amazing addition is the Chi-Rho, the Chi-Rho is a historical Christian symbol used by Constantine the great and there’s a few different versions of the symbol. If the developer added the 3-4 versions of the Chi-Rho that would be great.
It’s fun making flags and using all the simbols the only problem is that there is too many ads I understand that they need money but why so many anyways it’s good all around go play it
I love this app, first of all. It’s great for creating flags for whatever I need, just some suggestions if you’d listen. I love all the designs that are offered, but I think there should be a way to overlay some of the options, such as, say, tricolour and chevron. This would allow more accessibility for more flag designs. Another suggestion is flag dimensions/logo sizes. Possibly a slider for the logo sizes and a number query for the flag dimensions, to allow for more flag shapes / designs. Thanks for taking the time to read this, hope you take this into consideration.
I like how everything is so simple and easy to do. I have a question though. I feel like we should be able to put more than one symbol. There was a couple that I thought would look good together but it only let's you do one.
However, it has some flaws. I want to mix more colors, have more than one symbol on the flag (like multi-stared flags) id love it if you would add more than 12 stripes. More symbols, and the ability to add pictures to the flag. Also id love to make a coat of arms for my flag
It’s awesome. Have created so many interesting flags with this app. However I have some suggestions. 1. Can you add a 13 stripe base design? And can you make a 13 star or 50 star American star pattern? Would be cool! 2. National Coat Of Arms? 3. Can you make it so you can customize the Danton’s more easily? I want to be able to put a miniature flag in the corner and some symbol on the base color. Like France and Japan gland did with their colonies. That’s pretty much it. If you like vexolligy this is the perfect mobile app.
This app is Great... But... this would make it even better... and it’s a must have that I need. So I have my three vertical strips flag design but the two stripes on the outside are two different colors in my idea but I can’t seem to make that happen. Please help!
First, this is great and completely recommended for everyone. However, I’d appreciate it if you were able to import symbols of your own from photos (I.e. the eye of Horus or something). However, a great app.
