I just wanted app support, and I don’t know how to contact the app support team for this app. Im wondering if it’s normal to only see the next 7 calendar days on the app? I see the next 7 calendar days only, but my coworker for the same patient sees the next 2-3 weeks. When I called the company, I was told to delete the app and reinstall it. I did that twice but it only shows 1 calendar more than it did prior to my doing that. Please let me know. Thanks! Also, how do I contact the technology team there for future app questions and/or issues? (I’m providing a star rating because it’s requiring me to; I didn’t want to because I can’t ever tell if the app issues I’m having are app issues and I don’t want to pass the blame to you all. I can’t afford a new phone, and the model I have is a pretty old model, but the apps i have installed tend to work just fine on it.)
Can sign in quickly with no problems unless my Wifi connectivity is a little slow. Clock-ins and clock-outs register properly most of the time — although the button on that screen doesn’t always respond right away when I press it. I appreciate the chance the app gives you at the end of the week to correct or fill in a missed time on your time sheet. Sometimes my paystubs aren’t up to date, but for the most part I really have no major issues with the app. Works well enough!
I started work yesterday and made adjustments to my schedule as I was advised I could do as long as I had my required hours per day with my client. I clocked in and out yesterday without problem. This morning I clocked in at 7am without problem, but when I just logged in the the app to look at my hours the rest of the week, today, Wednesday had disappeared altogether from my schedule and no way to clock out. I’m seeing other reviewers are having issues with the app as well with clocking in and out, but my scheduled day today has completely disappeared and I’m due to clock out at 1pm. Waiting for return call from my case coordinator.
I love FreedCare the only down fall is having to take my Mother’s picture so much. If I’m doing her grocery shopping, getting her medications, doing laundry at my house for her, as we took out her washer and dryer to prevent her from going down cellar. I also cook for her at my house because we shut the gas off to her stove as we would smell gas when we came over. We did all of this for her safety. When I have to stop what I’m doing to get her picture it is inconvenient
This is my first time ever leaving a review for anything since I think the update has completely made this system go backwards. The new update made this app extremely frustrating the picture authentication using the iPhone camera system barely works and always has flash enabled which is an extra thing to worry about when dealing with a visually impaired patient. It’s also harder to clock in and clock out when having slight variation on your time cause of a mistake. Before it would understand when you forgot to clock in and allow you to adjust the time but now it just tells you “contact your coordinator immediately!!!” Also the UI is just frustrating in general and tbh a worse look from before. My biggest complaint however is just clocking out seems so clunky and was far easier to examine your time sheet when clocking out before now it just pops up as an after thought in a very small page after your done. It just seems like a step backwards and hope these problems can be resolved and user tested before implemented.
Having signed up as caregiver through Freedom Care, i have been very pleased with the service I have received from the caseworker(s) that have been assigned to monitor the program for my disabled brother. Any questions have been answered promptly and with such knowledge all my questions are answered immediately and correctly so there are no issues in the future. Best decision ever made was to go with FreedomCare.
I never write reviews but I’m so upset with this app. Don’t get me wrong I love working with freedom care they’re absolutely amazing! However, this app has some on going issues that hasn’t been resolved. When I clock in and out it’s been giving me issues. It makes it look like I didn’t clock in or out which is just upsetting. Also the photo authentication gives me an error message most of the time and makes it difficult when my patient hates that his picture needs to be taken over and over again. It’s also saying I haven’t claimed a week that’s in the future, which I haven’t even worked that day yet. What’s even more upsetting is I got a message from freedom care saying not to claim any more days and they will be deleting all future visits and it will not be paid for! I haven’t been paid for two weeks and now I can’t get paid until they fix it. This update really messed up everything and I wish this could be fixed ASAP. I can’t afford not to get paid any further.
Please, it takes us almost 18 to 20 minutes, if we even get to sign out, as unpaid time. Previous app worked great. Someone Hass to fix this. Every time my client signs his signature it freezes and crashes. We have remove the app and download it again several times, we have tried photos first and signature second, then reversed it in every order and it crashes every time always on The last day of my work week on sign out. Help please!!! I am on a brand new iPhone 13 Pro, I’m a web developer and programmer, and I cannot understand why it’s not fixed yet.
I have been super overwhelmed with taking care of my mom bc I cannot work as much outside of the house so having payment for being with my mom and caring for her had been a huge relief! FreedomCare from the first meeting getting everything signed up, getting the schedule, doing the training, using the app… everything is super easy to use and I’m super grateful, I highly recommend!
I know in these modern times everyone takes the time to say whats wrong.. and we barely say whats right (good). This new update is a game changer. Different at first but change is the only thing constant in life (and taxes) Thank you! Its made reporting easier.
I enjoy working for freedom Care and I’m grateful for my job and my patient but I am having a difficult time with the app clocking in and out are hard in most days and most I’m not able to do so, if it’s not giving me and error for my sign in info I get an error with photo identification and lately it takes a while to load and the app ends up crashing.. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but no luck I’m wondering if there’s something I can do about this ~Lydia Perez
This is the first time I’m writing a totally negative review. My first complaint is that one star is the lowest I can give it because it deserves minus 5! The app randomly doesn’t accept correct data and shuts down requiring you to sign in again only to do the same thing over and over again. The Prior app worked beautifully - in two years I don’t think I ever had a problem. With this new app if I can manage to get an entire week done without time-consuming errors is it seems like a miracle. FreedomCare should definitely get their money back from the app developer.
This app doesn’t let you download a clear pic or pdf of your payroll or tax documents. I need to provide my landlord proof of pay. I have to screenshot my payroll and it keep getting declined because the quality of my screenshot isn’t good especially when you have to zoom in close to get the details. This app had this feature before and now it’s removed.
I've always had issues with this app, but this update is terrible! It won't even let me onto the homepage because it keeps saying "server authenticity failed." It claims to let you edit your timesheet but it doesn't work. If you have more than one patient in a day, you're screwed because it wont let you select which patient you're working for it assumes based on the schedule and wont let you choose. Horrible update, please bring back the last version.
Have been part of Freedom Care for about one month now. I see minor issues with the app that I would like to change other than that well be staying with Freedom Care
Thank God you guys updated this app! So much easier & efficient! Especially the tutorial videos! That was a Great Touch! It definitely made understanding how to use the app much easier! Good job Freedom Care! 💪🏽♥️
I am doing everything I was told and this app still does not work right. It won’t accept my time sheet nor let me clock out from my last 2 shifts. I really need assistance with this app. I have removed it redownload it turned my phone off and back on and also disabled the WiFi and just used my phone data. And it still does not work. Please help me immediately so I can be paid this week.
The app has been working wonderfully for months and months then they do an update changing the app completely and now it’s horrible. I have lost money because punching in and out doesn’t work right. My coordinator doesn’t even get back to me half the time and claimed it was fixed when she finally did. She was wrong and was no help. I honestly don’t think I can recommend FreedomCare with the current iteration of the app.
Ever since last week, I haven’t been able to clock out to the point where I have to send in my timesheets manually. Every time I take a photo, it glitches out and keeps saying authenticity failed. I’ve contacted my coordinators and still having this issue. Also, I’m not able to add or delete visits either. Please fix this issue.
Having repeated issues with the app regarding clocking in and out when it’s time to correct and submit my time sheet I am unable to due to the patient photo not being able to upload I already missed one check haven’t received a full check in about 2-3 weeks now I’ve been REPEATEDLY contacting coordinators managers and leaving “tickets” for the “IT DEPARTMENT” to reach back out and nothing it’s almost like everyone is dodging you MIND YOU IM AN EMPLOYEE‼️.
It's just a inconvenience now have to take pictures during the beginning of the week and the end of the week and the payroll never updated it's really not fair that I have to go to the bank to see if I was paid on time . Not only that other companies pay more
Why is this update a struggle? It is time consuming on its own. Problem to clock in and out. My screen shots of the times are different from the paystubs. I go over the time and it still shortens my clock out time. I appreciate working for Freedomcare but this app update needs to be updated again or go back to the before. There was nothing wrong with the way it was before update.
I can’t seem to clock out now because my camera is busted and its gonna be too much to fix at this point I can’t really clock out now cause the update now requires for the patient to be photographed .. it’s an inconvenience to always send an email because no one gets back to me in a timely manor I don’t know what else to do.
Michelle who is our contact agent is so amazing and caring. We cannot thank God enough for her and the experience she brings to my sister and I. It’s all about taking care of my big sister.

I can’t stand this app. I hate the new update. ABSOLUTELY HATE IT. I had no problems before and now I have all the problems in the world. You can’t fix your timesheet, you can’t clock out too late or it won’t allow you to clock out at all, it doesn’t save you ID number or password even if you press remember me. The developers should be ashamed of themselves for this monstrosity of an update.
I have used the new version of the app for a couple of months now and the alerts do not work. The old app used to alert 15 minutes before and after clock in/out time. Please add this feature back, it’s very helpful.
The App imaging on this update is too large.. It doesn’t allow you to scroll down to see the red tab to click it… it took Me several tries to sign in & out.. and It’s Keeping My location on which is draining My Battery! Y’all should have kept the other version cause this update is a mess!
The location over the last month has been off. The app says that I’m at risk since I’m not at the location but I’m always there and the pictures are becoming an inconvenience at every log in and out. A new development has happened over the last week, I cannot make schedule changes. Extremely inconvenient.
I have not been able to sign out for the week for the last 2 weeks. It does not register my patients picture and I have not been able to get paid. This started happening as soon as the new update came in. Please let’s go back to the older app.
This app picks and chooses when it wants to properly function. There have been numerous times when I can’t even clock in and have to wait until much later. Or I have to clock in late because I’ve been waiting minutes for the app to load. Please improve

I’ve had a few minor problems with the app letting me sign in / clock out on occasion since the update for IOS but for the most part it does as intended !
The app is unable to find my location it keeps saying I’m 50% at risk when I’m in patients house makes no sense. So now every clock in and every clock out he has to take a picture
Week after new years still can’t clock out and now dates don’t show for previous weeks to submit time sheet. 12/5 supposed to get paid tomorrow and doesn’t look like it’s gonna happen. Old app was way better.
The clock ins don’t work. The insta pay says null over and over. I lose time daily bc takes so long to clock in. If I forget to clock in takes coordinator weeks to reply or help fix. Many glitches and bugs. BUT it’s better than paper checks.
I just upgraded my phone to anew Apple 14 pro because I have problems retrieving my schedule On anyone else’s phone I enter my ID and everything works. Both my I phone 11 & my brand new phone says warning I have no schedule. I don’t know how to fix the issue
My future schedule stops during the last day of February which is this Wednesday. I cannot either create a new schedule for March, because it says that I am not allowed to. Where is my March schedule??? I have emailed the app support & still no questions.
There is no longer an option for location and it refuses to let me into the app until I “give access” but there is no option in location services to give it access.
It asks questions about my patient that is none of their business
There is absolutely no reason why it should ask sensitive medical questions about my patient with no option to refuse in order for me to clock out. We are furious.
I used to be able to change my schedule and work on the weekends but now I can’t even fulfill my hours because it won’t let me change a date or adjust my hours.
