It seems like all the news apps are like 90/10 left/right, I’ve been looking for a news platform that has a much more even balance, and news that main stream media won’t release. Within in minutes I began to feel relief, it’s simplistic and smooth, it feels like a high quality apple made platform, and the labeling makes it super easy to know what side the articles are leaning. Have not used the search engine yet, will get back to you on that.

Been using this app for quite some time and have been very happy. I made the mistake of updating today, and boy do I regret it. The tabs, url, etc are now all on the BOTTOM of the screen instead of the top. I supposed I could get used to that (but I don’t like it), but what is making me delete this app is that the bottom section keeps getting bigger, then getting smaller, getting bigger, then getting smaller. Talk about distraction! Makes for a miserable user experience. And I can’t figure out any way to select any settings that would let you move this section back to the top of the screen. Poor UX, IMO.
I'm so glad Freespoke finally released an App! I've been using the site for about a year. It's shown me all kinds of information I couldn't find elsewhere. And the newsfeed has interesting articles and topics, and it shows various news sources side by side. Good job Freespoke! It was kinda hard to share articles in your App, so please update that in your next release.
Ever since I downloaded it from the App Store, it’s been my go to anytime I have to do a search! I absolutely love it! So many results on other search engines/browsers are censored, but not on this one! Thank you so much for giving us a better uncensored and untracked way to find valuable information! Yeah, no… I downloaded this app, hoping to find it lived up to its description, but after spending five minutes reviewing their so-called “censored” articles, I realized every single one related to an ultra-conservative, right-wing, divisive topic. Just what we need…another place that spreads hate and a lack of empathy and tolerance. Yay. I had high hopes—especially regarding shopping for American-made products, but I have no interest in reading articles about bigots and racists and otherwise intolerant people. We need to come together, not shine a spotlight on our differences. I’m off to delete the app.
I’ve just recently found this site and I enjoy it. I enjoy the fact that if I’m browsing something big brother isn’t over my shoulders, paying attention when I’m watching in forming her an opinion about who I may be or not be in their best interest or not Commies boxes thank you for all you people do.
I love reading news with this app. It gives several sources for each story and labels the political slant for each source. Easy to compare the left and right slants to each story. Gives lots of choices in settings for search engine.
The app works on iPad but the view is vertical (as it would be on an iPhone) and does not rotate for an iPad being used horizontally, which is how most people use iPads. This is a deal breaker for me, as I’m most often on my iPad when I need to do research, not on my iPhone. I like Freespoke, and I want to use it instead of Google for obvious reasons. I’ll check back for a true horizontal view iPad version.
This browser is great for a Non-biased news outlet that shows you both sides. My only problem is that if it wants to compete with google then it should expand its horizons further than just the news. It should be dimpled like google while also having various tabs and such like images, shopping, or maps. This app has lots of potential if ran on the right path!!
I decided to try your platform today for search, only did discover that it doesn’t work in landscape view, which is how my iPad is positioned on my desktop. I also found that you only have chrome extensions for my Mac, and I don’t use chrome and don’t want to use it, give us Apple users, some love please, and fix these things. We could use you!
This is the worst I have seen in long while ad it LOADED with dishonest blogs which you cannot read because of all the ads literally covering the whole article you are they to read . I have seen nothing that appears to be free speech all the topics are by a one sided view point . This concept is getting old just because some idiot writes a blog doesn’t means it is true . The research on the stories here cross reference by other media site in void NaDA no mention at all . For my sanity I uninstalled this of all my devices!
After spending some time on Freespoke exploring it’s UI and functionality, I’M SOLD!! Kudos to the developers and founders. It not only looks beautiful but works great. The News section is my favorite part so far. A big win when I can trust my search results are not manipulated. 5-star all the way!
There needs to be a dark mode feature. It's amazing how apps don't have this available from the date of launch. I would give it 5 stars, but I took 1 away for not having dark mode. Will modify this if and when this feature gets added. Other than that, this app is great!

I’m tired of Google and everyone else getting paid for my information while i receive nothing in return but less control of what i look at. Now I’m back in control again.
I used to switch to Bing for news as it was better than Google but this app curates all the good articles that I would’ve otherwise missed. I don’t review apps that often but I have to give credit to this one
What began as a decent platform has succumb to ad overload. Barely able to locate actual article content from amongst the ad sea of 'drink this tonight and lose 20 pounds' or 'get ten shades whiter teeth in 30 seconds with this secret trick dentists don't want you to know'. Content isn't anything that can't be easily found elsewhere. If you the reader don't know the your source's bias, having an app tell you probably doesn't matter anyway.
This search engine should be the standard. I found so many articles on topics that I never would've found using Google. It's crazy how biased results are in the most popular search engines. This app proves it, kinda scary. I highly recommend this app!
One thing that is hard for me when going to a new app is the different feel and drop im search quality. This did not have that. I felt like I was googling and was ver impressed by the variety of earth results I got back.
I am deleting app. I wanted to like it. BUT very frustrating that EVERY time I was filling out forms, page would reload out of no where and I would have to start from scratch. OR I would be looking at a page and it would close or reload to a different page. Also, when I was closing the app it should erase all data if it is was truly pro privacy. You have to go in and delete all the data manually.
I’m really glad that I was recommended Freespoke by an ad I saw. The app is great and makes it easier to read all different viewpoints in one place. I definitely recommend making the switch!
I’m still giving it time. When I do a search and get results then need to go to the next page only one item is added to the page I was just finished looking over. So I have to scroll all the way to the bottom to see only one more item. Not a full new page. This is a big downer for me. I don’t know about anyone else but I don’t like this.
Will you please consider adding a bookmark section/favorites like a few popular search engines have. I have a lot of book marks on Safari, for that reasoning I still can’t delete Safari web browser.
The app itself is good, easy to navigate. The news is balanced and not mind-numbing woke lies. But it is almost always a day late. They either need more staff loading articles, or better algorithms or something. Just too yesterday's news.
Just downloaded it tonight and it’s been a great experience. Work just like any other search engine but way way way way way way better and easier. Good job Freespoke!!!
I haven’t used Freespoke long enough, but it’s great for sexually moral CHRISTians and I stopped using DuckDuckGo to search for new stuff. Keep me posted so that we conservatives can stop being spied on. Use Conservapedia instead of Wickedpedia for large political information too.
I was excited about the idea of this. For me, part of the idea of truth and freedom is avoiding being tracked and loaded with cookies. As it turns out, this app offers ZERO possibilities to remain even remotely anonymous or clear your tracks after use. I can look back at any time to see ALL my history and searches and there’s absolutely no way to clear anything. Worse than Google. Steer clear.
It has a fluid and attractive interface, and more important than that, it produces outstanding search results. And it doesn’t track you. So far, so good.
Although it’s nice looking, the loading animation needs to go. When In a hurry, I don’t like having to wait for the loading screen. Other than that, it’s a very helpful tool!
Finally I can get the information I want - from a variety of sources - and develop my own opinion! I’ve loved the website, and am thrilled it’s in app form now.
The app is really nice, once you spend some time with it. The homescreen widget could use a better design. It looks cheap. At least put your torch logo on it.
I searched for a hot topic, like January 6th, for my very first search. SO glad to see many more options for my research! The results popped up super fast as well! NICE WORK!!!
I would have given 5 stars but your app will not work in Landscape with my IPad Pro 5th Gen. I use a Logitech Keyboard and case which is always in Landscape Mode but your app will not rotate. Could you please fix this and I will be happy to give 5 stars!
Not workin well sofar first few times tryin. Lookin up companies to call. But as I do either to click on their # or where it says call now. But doesn’t work Comes up yelp problem or another thing however but not doin it’s thing. So havta remember the # and punch it manual like. So for now gonna still use DDG
The search option is censored on Freespoke. If you try to get news from Russian point of view all results pull up pro Ukraine, this is not free speech like advertised sadly. Freespoke is censored reminds me of google, one sided stories instead of two side stories that is what free speech is supposed to be. Thumbs down for Freespoke, censored is what it is.
I’m trying to use your app but every time I click on a site to get more information, like clicking the phone number to call the place, it just throws up error codes. Because of this your app is of no use to me. Hope you guys fix it one day.
My first search was “1971 javelin amx” and it gave more coherent responses than Bing or Google. Quite fast, too. Also, recent information appears first. Nice.
Freespoke doesn’t shadow ban non-legacy news sources and right leaning news brands like Google does. Nor does it sell preferential sorting to large media corporations.
I like this new app, like getting their unbiased news too. Only problem is portrait orientation only. Developers, please add landscape! No one uses portrait!
Same mainstream propaganda, just with labels about political orientation of source organization. Unfortunately no independent reporting either...just the same information available on most mainstream outlets. Has the feel of stories that are meant to distract people from the real news stories.
From what I have seen so far with this search engine, you are posting information as misinformation when it is not!! I am extremely disappointed with this search engine. This is why I stopped using Google. I will have to find another search engine.
