Was looking for a strong alternative to Salesforce and found it within Freshworks. It is easy use, easy to customize, and it doesn’t break the bank. They’ve done a great job to make it robust, but in a way that doesn’t require me to have an advanced certificate to administer. Highly recommend for anyone looking for the new generation of CRM.
Web based UI and App work well. Easy to configure with support of docs and chat. Biggest downside I’m experiencing is with the Reporting through the Analytics capabilities. Bottom line - there is an issue with the accuracy of report graphs and underlying tables. I’ve had multiple instances where totals are incorrect and groupings for bar charts simply ignore the content of the Group By field and will group as “- -“ or (no data) in the field. I have to open a support ticket. Each time the first “go to” reply to a support request for this issue is “Please wait 45 minutes after updating a record to run the report as it takes time for the data to sync with Analytics.” I then have to explain that it has been days, weeks, or months since the records in question were updated and the data is still wrong. They will then open a ticket and a few days later that report will be correct with the explanation that they did “something” on the “backend”. I never get input on the root cause - just that it’s fixed…until it’s not. Very frustrating that I can’t count on the accuracy of reports - that’s kind of the point of Sales Management via a CRM. This smacks of a serious infrastructure implementation issue that needs to be addressed.
I am encountering a number of different deal breaking bugs. One is that my application on the iPad is stuck in Landscape mode no matter what. Also, I can only scroll down so far on my lead list before I cannot see anymore of my leads. There is no option for another page of leads and my leads do not load as they do on the iPhone app. I was really considering purchasing a year but until this is fixed I am afraid I am not going to be able to. Update: the bug has continued over to my iPhone. I am unable to scroll down my full lead list.
I purchased this software because I was able to utilize it on my computer and through this app on my phone. Unfortunately, the app is sooo glitchy!! I’ve given it a few weeks, because we all know new software is always touch and go, but the fact that I can’t scroll down to finish reading an email without the email jumping up and down is ridiculous. I just wanna read my emails!! Please!!
The app allows great control to navigate to the next sales function. Looks similar to web design. Quick response and ease of reading details. One major issue, in leads if you click the mail icon we must choose the mail app to contact our prospect. I'm thinking of the web where the system is emailing not my mail app. Why here? However that isn't the only problem when setting an appointment, and clicking on email at the bottom, it only allows the native mail app with no choice to use other mail apps??? Developer stopped me from continuing to use at this point.
We pair this with Freshcaller. I like the idea of things, especially when needing to work “on the go” and from my cellphone. When I make calls through the app, a lot of times people say they can’t hear me and get frustrated and hang up.
Lots to like about the clean interface and I love the program overall. But functionality is greatly limited when I need to login to my computer to see messages/emails from my leads. Cannot see them in the app. Maybe I’m missing something
First off leads should actually be contacts and contacts should be named leads.... so crazy that it’s that way. When will Freshsales add the business card reader .. it’s a must in the sales world so crazy that this still hasn’t been updated to have that feature.
This app really doesn’t provide much value, as I can’t even see emails that my leads have sent. I mean, it’s great to see that messages are there, but beyond frustrating that I can’t view or easily respond to them through the app. This is expected baseline functionality in a CRM app...
This app is not user-friendly. Can’t delete emails. I can’t even actually find my email on my phone app. It’s not easy to navigate and a lot of the functionality is not there. I’m really not sure how this app can be useful for this platform.
Need to support landscape on the iPad. When working remotely it is the most common orientation used. It would also be nice if there was better contact and call tracking integration with the iPhone app.
unable to add multiple phone numbers in the phone icon. Unable to select all and delete all tasks at once. Must go through one at a time and sometimes there are hundreds. This is ridiculous.

Wow... FreshSales is better than Pipedrive, Nutshell, Base, Salesforce... You name it. Amazing, clean functional app. So many useful features without being bloated.
The keyboard doesn’t even let you switch to portrait mode. Can’t access 75% of the keyboard. Trying to click on to use Google account, and the button doesn’t even work. Mobile app is useless.
For me is useless since we have the phone service integrated and they don’t have that integration in the app. Also, it does not works on iPad which is what most people use.
Please do yourself favor an not use this company. I signed up paid $180 and got no help to fully set up so I let it go and chop it up as a lost. I never logged in the system again. A year later they went into my account and deduct another $180. I immediately contact them and was told any ticket was open. 2 weeks went by no contact from anyone another week go by I sent another email and did a chat on the computer. Later that day the original rep that signed me up called saying he see that I never used the system or logged back in and the system was never fully set up. I explain is because I didn’t get any help and when I tried she told me she had to help other customers after being on the line with me for 20 minutes. So I got frustrated and felt I was scam when o was told there will be a rep to help me, but no one ever did. She said she will personally process the refund in 2-3 days it will be in my account. Well here we are 9 days later no money. I emailed her and she said oh it’s Easter Holiday so it’s delayed. That was the moment I knew they have no intention of returning my money because at this point it’s been over 30 days plus it was not Easter 9 days ago when she promise to refund my money. I am out $360 and no CRM and zero help. I will be contacting my bank tomorrow and advise them that this was a unauthorized charge from these crooked scam artist and I will be sure to advice everyone on all major platforms not to use this company they are crooked thief’s
I find this app to be handy for referencing data while on appointments and also entering some data immediately after appointments. @FreshWorks - PLEASE allow me to change the alert tone on my iPhone rather than using the default iPhone alert tone. Or, add a number of alert tone options in your app and let us pick from that. Thanks!
This company is horrible. They lied to us to get us to switch and then we pay 400.00 to get started only to find out that it doesn’t do what we need it to. We paid for 5 users and we had 1 user building it out for 6 days and hit a dead end and we spent weeks trying to get them to refund us and they never would. We never entered 1 contact in the software. We never integrated it with anything. We never gave our team members the logins. We only just begun to setup. As far as we are concerned these guys are thieves and they don’t deserve to get an positive reviews. We will never recommend them to anyone. We will emphatically discourage anyone we meet to never deal with these people. We build our companies around doing the right thing. And these people do not have that same type of moral compass.
