I’ve had several energy companies in Texas, and since I moved to Frontier I’ve never had any issues. Likely the best energy prices in the market. The app is very helpful to monitor usage and even provides predictions. I’ve never had any billing issues or anything like that. This is what I would expect from an energy provider app.
I was paying almost $60 and now it just $260 Can you explain what kind of mark up or how you changed customer it looks like something is wrong bc I understand 120 bc of what we have now with the disaster but we can help but not paying or running your company that way is not something I should e vesting any way fixed or we will be our bill I am not toking about 2-4 people in tier Nebur household so late as now we are not house we are condominium the chippest way lives and safety of environment so if we wast this Mach energy for 1 beds apartment it will flug read
I have updated the new version today. When I tried to open the app with Face ID it closes automatically. I tried multiple times and restarted my phone as well. However it works when I manually typed my password. The Bug should be fixed.
Not sure if previous versions were wonky or not. This version seems fine. Easy to look at bills and autopay is set up. Not sure why some people are complaining about having to call in payments instead of AutoPay. Who even calls in payments like it’s 1995?
This app was previously just fine- up until the new update. When accessing the app, I get a notification telling me that the app performs better with the newest available update. It prompts me to the App Store, and I see that the newest version of the update has already been downloaded. I tried deleting and accessing the app again, and same issue. Looks like I’ll have to access Frontier Utilities from the desktop website until this is resolved.
Your latest update messed up the app on my iPhone SE (3rd edition). Every time I open the app it keeps asking me to update to the newest app version. Now, I can’t access my stuff, because I just keep getting an app update window right after log in. But I’ve already updated it and there is no way to re-update or go back to older software version. And I already uninstalled and reinstalled it and turned my phone off and on.
I enrolled by phone on Tuesday afternoon into the New EV 12 program. I was told to wait a day and then download the app an everything would be up to date. Ihave now waited 2 days and the app only shows my old account.I was sent a message to pair with the new account but there is no pairing information on either my phone or iPad App about pairing. All the app says is that my account is closed. How do I get this fixed. I’ve received billing information on the new account but nothing else and that was by email. Makes me wonder what rate I am being charged for Ev charging tonight. Everyone ziworked with up to this point seemed to know what they were doing and were courteous. Now I’m beginning to wonder who knows what. John
If I Could Give This App ZERO STARS, I would. I used paid my bill for the first time using this PATHETIC app. After I paid it I got a confirmation screen of the payment. It’s a good thing I took a screenshot of that because approximately 24 hrs I STILL HAVE NOT got an email receipt. Then just make things worst the idiots at Frontier Utilities sent me an email about 12 hrs after I paid the bill using this PATHETIC app, that I had a new bill to pay, THE SAME BILL I HAD JUST PAID on the app 12 hrs earlier! Pathetic. It’s been 24 hrs AND I STILL HAVE NOT GOT AN EMAIL RECEIPT. If you want an email receipt DON’T use this app. Just wait for the email notification of your bill & pay it via logging into your account on a browser!
The latest “better” version of the app is already installed in my phone but I still get a dumb pop up message that says there’s a newer version available. Definitely is a fault in the update and it’s annoying because it doesn’t let me access the app unless I click “update”. I tried deleting and reinstalling it but that didn’t make it go away.
Aside from terrible registration and login issues, I could not set up auto pay via the app. After entering my cc info, when I went to set up auto pay, it appears to be a glitch where I cannot select the single AmEx card previously entered…as such, cannot set up auto pay for AmEx ( likely attributed to problems from the app trying to display an AmEx logo)…
Tried to log in to pay my bill and the app kept closing once Face ID saw, and accepted, my face. The app then prompted me to update my app. I selected yes, brought me to the App Store and downloaded the new app. Still the same thing: I add the email and the if Face ID sees my face it closes the app. I have to hold the phone away from my face and let Face ID fail so I can manually enter the password.
This company does not give consumers a chance to be human. They are quick to send out a disconnect notice the very next day of the due date. Other utility companies provide you with ample time to make a payment before they charge a late fee and send a notice to turn off your power. Please read your EFL carefully before signing a contract.
There is no option to update the app as it has already been updated. It’s an endless loop of opening and closing the app and unable to access anything. Also, extremely annoying that I cannot prepay my policy on the app and can only do it on the phone.
The new app redesign is a promising start. However, many things in the app are not working: unable to click many things, unable to save payment methods, etc.
I just updated the app on my phone and now every time I try to open it the app indicates that there is an update. The only thing you ca select is update. Which takes you back to the App Store which only allows you to Open the App. Deleted the app and reinstalled, but still same issue.
Recently Downloaded latest version, and a bug seems to make app unusable…once you log in, app will close and not proceed to account information. Deleted and will use website direct until I see an Update.
The worst electric provider out there. Don’t waste your money. They tell you one thing when you sign up and change it to whatever they want afterwards. I’m so completely disappointed I chose a company more concerned about themselves than the consumer. It’s so sad.
I tried to log into the app to pay my bill and it says that I need to update it, and then it has me signed in again to say that I need to update it, this is ridiculous. I would like to see my insights, etc., someone needs to fix this right away.

I tried to pay my account on my due date however your system wouldn’t allow me too add my ck acct info. Frontier should allow electronic funds payment and this isn’t disclosed to new customers . Can’t wait until my contract ends will not renew
I keep trying to login and a pop up blocks me saying an updated version is available for the app. I try to download it and it only allows me to open the current app!! Fix this please!!
Updated the app this morning and now it’s a nonstop loop of signing in, being told to update the app, coming to the Apple Store to see it’s already updated and signing in again…. Completely unusable now.
Just downloaded the app and logged in however it says I need to update app before I can do anything. From what I see I have the latest version of the app.
I can’t log into the app using the same credentials I use on the website. In addition, it will not allow me to update my password. App matches the service where I can’t get anyone on the phone.
App update is not working on iPhone. Says to update. I did the update prior to opening app and deleted app, reinstalled, and still tells me to update on iPhone needs to be fixed.
When signing into app, it crashes after entering email address. Have tried closing and reopening app. Restarted phone. It still crashes. Please fix the app. Thank you.

Marketed as the most cost efficient energy company. This is not true. Every month the bill increases. Extremely dissatisfied customer. Please for the love of god use another company.
This app is terrible It keeps saying that there is an update available It won’t let me view the dashboard It makes you click on the message saying that the update is available Then it brings you back to the beginning making you log in again I am so frustrated with this bootleg app
