A colleague suggested I take this tests some time ago and this morning I did. My excitement grew once the reports were generated. I felt the reports were insightful and truthful and not self gratifying. I found that how I interpreted my traits prior to these tests were in some ways misaligned with reality while other self-interpretations we’re correct and validated. I really like how the reports call out blind spots in each trait, that was very helpful and I look forward to how understanding those blinds spots can help me achieve better results or see the value in other perspectives more clearly. I’m a fairly transparent person and I shared some of my reports with some friends and family to encourage them to do the same. I can see how having honest conversations with others with an understanding of each dominate trait we would losers can help deepen relationships and maximize assignments in team environments.
The Gallup coaching system has been incredibly helpful for me to eliminate distractions and being clarity to my own life. I’m thankful that I have a coach and someone that helped me create a plan to better manage my time and giftedness. This system is insightful and will lead you down a path of self discovery in ways you may have never thought of before. I highly recommend anyone who has a hard time finding a way forward to use this method!
To really know others, you have to know yourself. This can be a difficult thing when all your perceptions about your self have been filtered by others spoken concepts of you. Knowing and understanding your Clifton strengths colors in all the vibrancy of who you are. You may know that certain things excite you or frustrate you - but do you understand? If you don’t understand - then you are missing the lesson! Once you understand who you are and why - it makes being open to allowing others to be free of your filtered perceptions so much more possible - AND you are able to understand and move in harmony - no longer second guessing yourself or them. It’s a beautiful tool and gift.
I got my top 5 strengths in part of a coaching program I paid for. After reviewing my strengths I thought this was fantastic and exactly who I am and what I am about. I decided to get the rest of my profiles. Using the app has been awesome to have for quick and convenient reference. I occasionally find myself using the app during downtime to help myself upgrade.
Knowing what makes me tick is tremendously important. I wandered around for 55 years thinking I knew what I was good at rather than knowing. By luck or design, I fell into using much of my talent. Had I been aware decades earlier, I ca only think of where it might have taken me! Best tool for growth ad knowing self that there is!
All I was trying to do was look at my strengths list and it only shows the top 5. You can imagine my frustration after having recently purchased the complete list. When I click to see full report, it dumps me out and has me log in again repeatedly. Update: Thanks for taking care of this issue. Everything is loading properly now. As I continue to use it I think I will like it more. Thanks.
I’ve learned so much more about me after looking at my full 34 strengths. It helps me understand how I feel when I get into it lower strengths which I don’t do my best there. Also to understand my domains and how to allow what comes natural for me flow. Thank you for helping me understand me and therefore help others more effectively!
We often believe certain things about ourselves and it’s nice to have those beliefs validated by a system of trait/personality/attribute classifications. Knowing these classifications also allows one to better understand others. This is a valuable tool for intra- and interpersonal development.
Gallup has a way of making everything streamlined: from living in your dominant strengths to creating a great app that makes accessing their resources easier. I love this app and use it often in my coaching as well as in learning more about my strengths.
I have had this app for a couple of years now without really engaging it. I have recently started using the helpful articles and such with great success. This should be a must use tool at every organization on a weekly basis.
Any new Life Coach needs to research what curriculum, content, assessments, evaluation, students learning outcomes tools they will use to assist their clients after I completed the Clifton Strength Finder assessment. In October 2019, my experience in my purpose became crystal clear. Today, my focus on becoming a Clifton Strength Finder Certifications begins. It is so exciting to have clarity of goals.
The most comprehensive inventory in a short amount of time and so helpful to my own understanding of how I can be most effective. Purchase the entire program and it is money well spent.
I have an older iPad which has reached the end of its IOS updates. The iPad works perfectly fine but Apple does not update after a awhile to meet planned obsolesce Corp goals. This app will not work at all requiring update that I cannot receive. Disappointed the developer does not have a way for me to access my reports on my older iPad. Hope this can be addressed.
I learned about Cliftonstrengths from A book by Rachel Rodgers called We should all be millionaires. In the book she firmly mentions how we should all assess our strengths and highly recommended Cliftonstrengths. End of story. Life changing. The best $50 ever spent on my personal and self mastery journey. Everyday I feel I have a mentor guiding, validating, and cheering me and my strengths on and holding me accountable. I am even contempla the certification to coach others as a way to master my craft and contribute to others! Thank you Gallup!!! Thank you Rachel! 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
This app is very frustrating to use. If I want to view my full report I'm better off saving the files to Dropbox and opening a PDF. You can't view the doc in landscape, either. So, the font is small and you have to swipe left and right to read it. If the developers would make the info a part of the app rather than just uploading the report doc we would have a much more useful resource.
Absolutely love the new app. I can check on everything right from my phone, no need to log in from my laptop. It has tons of great learning content I can view while I am on the go. Just love it!
It would be amazing if I was able to access all of my coaching materials directly from the app. Other than that, I love the app and use it regularly for myself and my clients.
What a great way to build teamwork through a better understanding of one’s self :-) I believe we can be better and this tool fits right into that mantra! Take a spin & see how U like it 👍🏽
I had originally bought the report for too 5 strengths. I later decided to upgrade and get the full report. They took my payment online. I got a receipt by email but my full report hasn’t unlocked yet. It keeps asking me to upgrade again. I tried calling the toll free number but it was disconnected. I emailed the help team but got no reply. It’s been more than 24 hrs and I’m very frustrated that they don’t have their act together.
WOW. You can really tell when an app takes the time to deliver on the vision that it claims to have. I am so blessed! Thank you for the upgrade to the quality of my inner life and professional relationships. !
Still very buggy and slow. Takes multiple times to log-in. Searching for Strengths within your community is PAINFULLY slow…it searches after each letter entered (known issues for a long time and not fixed). Needs actual user input and dedicated team. Not a priority of Gallup. Could be so much more.
This app is so functional and makes accessing your reports and information so easy. You can also share your information/reports with others in a helpful way.
This app has really made me realize how much I have been missing out on my life! Learning everything about me is the perfect journey! Thank you Gallup for this journey!
Don't like that I can only see the top 5 strengths of the people who share with me, I need to be able to see their full report (which I used to be able to do with the old app). I like the extra reports available in this one, but miss the easy sharing functionality - that was one of the primary ways I used the app! Bummed!
This is incredibly useful, I have all the information of my 9 direct reports and 68 indirect reports on my hand. I can feel prepare in a minute for a couching session.
It has been great having the results of my Strengths assessment right at my fingertips! I can review each of my strengths individually as often as needed!!
App is great. However, I recently saw several references to weaknesses. Really? I thought Strengthsfinder was all about Strengths. The strengths that we don’t have aren’t weaknesses. They are strengths that we do not possess, or possess little of. But the ‘w’ word? From Clifton and STRENGTHSfinders?
I really enjoy the app, but the Advice page should really be focused on someone’s top ten. I had advice today for my 34th talent theme. That doesn’t align with Gallup’s idea of focusing on our dominant talents.
I’m going to have to use my summit $ to get access to access :(
I guess I wont be in Omaha for the summit in 2020....This added expense to have the same functions as before is bad business. I’ll use my flight and hotel money to pay for the ACCESS fee. It is sad that Gallup has put a bad taste in my mouth after being a HAPPY and BUSY certified coach for them and promoting their products! Bad form Gallup!! VERY UNUSER FRIENDLY!!!
The difference between Gallup and the other personality assessments are Gallup focuses more on characteristic traits vs the Enneagram is more focused on emotional actions and reactions. The Myers-Briggs is just confusing.
I downloaded the APP and the interface was set to CN even though the language selected was English. Once I figured out how to fill in the form I went to the purchase page and received error that the system was down. Second and third time I tried an error message popped up saying can not access. Too bad.
I downloaded the app, because I couldn’t purchase the CliftonsStrength test from my computer. Their website is not very good as well. I purchased the CliftonsStrength test from the app. But was not able to take it from the App. After taking the test on my laptop. I cannot download it to the App.
I’d prefer more immediate access to analysis of my strengths as I see them. For example, on my iPhone the color bar of each of my top 5 is SO thin, that it is difficult to distinguish. Then, where do I immediately access what the different color categories mean?
Maybe I’m just dumb...but I bought the top 5 assessment through the app and I can’t for the life of me find where to complete the test. Maybe it would be more helpful to make finding the test you purchased easier.
