Update the application been 6 months

Please update the application with bug fixes and performance improvements and optimizations to the Geekbench 6.2 to make it reflect the newest version of iOS and iPadOS and other things which you can make the program run better and more optimized and have more performance improvements and stability to the application as well and the standard bug fixes. Something or similar to Geekbench 6.1

The Best Synthetic Mobile Benchmark Tool

This software is the best synthetic benchmark tool. It can score and compare between mobile, laptops, and desktops. I just wish that when you do a benchmark. That it lists the exact build of the OS you're on. Not just the general IOS 18 but also the build number.

…why?

I don’t understand why they couldn’t just update Geekbench 5 for whatever changed in 6, especially since we payed for 5 and this is now free? Ok cool, but it doesn’t have history? Why would you remove that, backed out to do the GPU test and forgot what my CPU test was. Do I have to take a screenshot now, instead of the convenient history that automatically logged everything in 5? Just… why?

Great to see my favorite benchmark get a major update; hope to soon see the browser website updated to show the results though.

Removing over versions is bad for comparisons

I’m giving them 1 star because they removed version 5. How am I supposed to compare newer devices to older ones when they remove the older version as they release a newer? I could at least run both versions on the same device and get a relative idea how they compare, then sumo side the differences going forward.

My phone a regular iPhone 11 did way better than a IPhone 11 Pro Max like how and also the person that gifted me the phone said it was a 11 pro but the system just says it’s a default 11 but still HOW IS IT BETTER THAN A 11 PRO MAX

Good Benchmark but…

There should be a way to link the results to your geekbench account. This would allow us to compare devices much easier

Stole my money

I bought the previous version and it’s just… gone and deleted now? Ridiculous! And this new version is free!? You guys should have updated the last one, it was perfectly good. This one is very “mid” aka not the best. Wish you guys would take customer feedback.

Can’t seem to find the app in settings

Was looking for app but for sum reasons don’t show up ? How can that be when it uploads to the internet for scores needs data for that ! Pretty odd and not for me once Geekbench 5 was gone so is geekbench 6

It removes the history

We need the history back for this to be a replacement for Geekbench 5. Also, since Geekbench 5 users that paid don’t get Geekbench 6 for a discount, I personally won’t be upgrading to 6 as a main benchmark.

iPhone 15 Pro Max

Why does it automatically sense that the iPhone 15 Pro Max is a “iPhone 16,2” instead of just listing it as “iPhone 15 Pro Max” like it does with all the other iPhone comparisons? Just curious.

They removed the history feature from Geekbench 5 so what is the point of this. Just bring back Geekbench 5 or update this to have history😡

What happened to the history??? Not only that, but what about comparisons of your device benchmarks to that of others?!? This version is a MAJOR FAIL compared to 5. Get it together developers!

Doesn’t work

Where did the history section go so I can see my past tests? The whole reason I use this app is so I can compare devices over time.

New version, doesn’t identify the new iPad Pro

Still to this date, the new iPad pro is not properly identified. Also, the specs for Apple devices are erroneous or incomplete. For example, it only shows the CPU cluster and the little cores 4 MB cache, but doesn’t read anything else.

The incompatibility / dropping of older score formulas is bad

Getting a score for your device is mostly useless. It has zero value by itself. All of the value is in trusting the score is repeatable on the same hardware , and having other tests’ scores to compare it to. With each version not being a compatible test with prior versions this makes the tool marginal. Comparing the current phone you own to other phones out right now isn’t super valuable. What we want is to compare against our prior phones which would be 3-5 years or even more years old. So for me this is my old iPhone 6d or XS. Which have v4 scores. Part of this is the App Store , and I get not wanting to confuse the market with 5 versions of the tool out at once. But there is a solution. Keep the older versions test algorithms in subsequent versions. Make them accessible via an advanced menu inside. Then the current version 6 could run the version 4 test on a new iPhone 14 or soon the 15, and compare it to my iPhone XS. On the computer side the old legacy versions are available but that doesn’t help with iOS devices where we are only getting the mist current version. And that makes the app a real problem. Sure I can continue to push backups to my new phones to propagate v4 to newer phones but that only works so long till apple again bricks older apps. But if I go to an Android , then I cannot bring the iOS version over obviously. Seems like a really silly own goal unless the whole exercise has is for our entertainment purpose only and the real point of the app is for you to gather data from users phones to sell to third parties. How about making the app actually useful to iOS users and adding the legacy version test suites into the app?
