So far it’s good but they need to fix when you get get approved for a position. I applied to a position for a Wednesday on Monday but I didn’t get a notification until the day and time of the time it was supposed to start so I had to cancel but so far there are plenty of jobs. Just still waiting to be approved for another job

It took me over a month to get my first gig booked, the gig was approved for me only 40 minutes before the event began. I’ve had one event so far, I have applied to probably 20. I completed my orientation and have a solid profile. I had two events booked for this week yesterday Tuesday the 14th and today, Wednesday the 15th. Tuesday a little more than two hours before the gig was to begin, the property just canceled it. Following that I had an emergency for today and canceled the gig just under 24 hours. I gave a thorough reason as to why I was missing it. It was an actual serious emergency involving one of my children. Gigpro sent me a message stating that my profile had been flagged for a call out. I think it is unfair that a business can confirm an event, have you counting on the funds from that event, and then cancel it two hours before your start time. Then to follow up with more stringent rules for the workers on the app, if you have a bona fide emergency, you’re penalized for it even though you give way more notice than the business before canceling. It’s a good platform if you can actually be selected for work. I haven’t had the experience I was expecting

The convenience of having immediate working opportunities in a field that you are skilled in cannot be stressed enough. You fill out an application and then check regularly to see what is available in your area. Putting in for the job does not necessarily mean that you will get it, but you are in front of the employer with a simple click. The catch to this app is the time clock feature which does not work. First, I am ex-military, so I show up early to jobs. Sometimes a full thirty minutes. You will not be paid for this extra time. In fact, because the clock does not allow you to clock in early it won’t be until lunch break that you even have an opportunity to look at your phone again. You are there to work after all, and holding your when you should be working is unprofessional. Nonetheless, I believe in the people who have crafted this excellent app. This con will be addressed eventually. I look forward to the opportunities that it provides me. Decent pay to work with great people.

I’ll say this, when I first started using this app it was amazing. Easily apply for jobs, show up, work, get paid. As the season went on, I came across some crappy companies who had no clue how to use the app. The 24 hour cancellation policy is not fair at all. Not even a real job will penalize you for calling off for emergency’s, accidents, illness, etc. so if you wake up sick, and work around food, be prepared to still go into work! THEY DON’T CARE! And this new update is absolutely garbage. They continuously message you over & over 1 hour before your shift, 15 minutes before your shift, etc. this is brand new and very annoying. They’ll even text you the day of your shift to make sure you’re going, but don’t even have a customer service phone number to be able reach someone for support. I can’t turn off the push notifications because I like to be the first to know about gigs, but please stop with the excessive notifications.

Yeah Gig pro is great for me I do other things for work and it allows me the freedom and flexibility to make my own schedule. Working one set job sometimes creates a dependence for me they have me by the n ed I have to keep my income coming in, bad attitudes and power drunk managers have always frustrated me with gig pro if I don’t like a place or some people there it’s my choice if I want to go there or not. It’s a lot of perks for gig pro I work really hard at each job build a rapport so I can always go back when they need a person and your star rating gets to have meaning after 50 jobs if 50 people say your good anybody would love to have you come and work for them. If I were in the market for extra work or something to fill in like I do I’d say Gig pro is the best gig app out there no cap. I live the platform I been with em since march 2021.

I have had this app for over 2 months now. My background is in Hospitality and Restaurant industries, where I’ve had the opportunity to carry out many functions in my 15 years of experience! I have utilized multiple gig apps and this one IS THE WORST!!!!! They’re great at posting gigs, at which I receive annoying notifications lol all day, however, you are required to apply for the different positions in your background but in my experience are never selected. I’m starting to wonder if this app is fraudulent?!!! I have a strong bio and strong resume yet given the amount of jobs posted and the numerous different jobs I’ve applied for I still have yet to get accepted for even ONE gig! I say it’s a complete waste of time if you are serious about doing this type of work on gigs….there are so many better gig apps that you will ACTUALLY book and are able to work and make good money. GIGPRO you have to do better!! If you want new gig workers you have to make updates that won’t deter them from your platform!

Okay so I was shown this from someone else who said it was great and I downloaded the app, erased it and downloaded it again but whatever “hack tricks” are going on in the app that makes it nearly impossible to set up the account, and to even access the gigs, it’s really just beyond me, because now I have given it my personal information and I can’t even get my profile picture and name and other information uploaded so I can’t access gigs. Then I try to contact the developer and each time it forwards me to 404 problem page, and that’s when I begin to think this app is bogus. I am a full time mother and caregiver and I need a per diem gig that I can use for my convenience but this app seems far from ideal and it doesn’t even work right. Designers and Developers, you at least owe it to the people that keep your app purposeful to give them a quality product that you can stand behind.

If you live and want to use this app in Charleston SC where it was created, I suggest you run , not walk away from it. Not sure how this app operates outside of this area but always remember it was birthed in a place where people are literally treated like slaves. Underpaid, zero labor laws ( Right To Work...more like right to fire you for no reason ), horrible working conditions in restaurants that should never of been zoned as one. The walk in boxes are halfway down the street. It's all group restaurants that pad themselves on the back with yearly "Best Of" contests . All owned by partners that get Sysco kick backs for serving crap. If you're an x-con that can't get a job anywhere else, than this is the perfect platform to use. You're exactly what they want. Someone to use and abuse. It's always the same handful of restaurants that posts positions because nobody in their rite mind would work there if they didn't have to. Gigpro is just a modern slave broker.

This platform is a godsend for both employees and employers. This past week I’ve earned 860$ from 3 events. I am a full time sous chef who picks up gigs on my days off for supplemental income. The app has allowed me to easily connect with some awesome companies that need help as much as I do extra income. The pay rates are top notch, the fees associated with the app are almost non existent and overall it’s a seamless, easy to use app. I’m beyond grateful to be able to earn this type of income so easily. Looking forward to pulling an extra 12-15k supplemental income over the next year. If I didn’t have a full time job I could easily earn 45k+/year through the app. If ya ain’t gigging, ya ain’t winning!

Since joining GigPro I have been to some amazing restaurants with amazing chefs and restaurant teams! The overall process is fantastic. Just please remember to do your orientation upon applying and to input all your experiences. At first I wasn’t getting any gigs and found out from the chat , (that I didn’t have an orientation or fill out my experience to the best of my ability). Since I finished all the requirements, I’m now getting gigs. The restaurants are really professional and the pay is even better. Now I will be able to earn enough money in my off days to save up for a home! Thank you for the opportunity at Gigpro!

I started out on Gigpro last year May and it has been so good! I got a part- time job through this app, which I did for 1yr and 2mths. All this while I was still doing gigs and a full time job. I haven’t worked a lot of different places through the app. I prefer to work at 2 or 3 places and sometimes I will try new businesses. It gives me a chance to meet people, omg, so many different personalities 🤣. I haven’t regretted working through this app. It’s the best temp app that exist. Customer service is polite and very helpful. It reminds me of a Human Resource department, always looking out for the workers best interest but also looking out for the business best interest.

Hi. I downloaded this app last September when I was desperate for work. Unfortunately, I was never able to upload my photo ID. I uninstalled the app, and now, months later reinstalled the app hoping to get better results. This time, I attempted to use my passport but am still unable for the app to take a photo of my U.S. passport to upload so that I may get some quick gigs to earn money while I am beginning a new job and having to wait on a paycheck. My plan was to fill in some gigs from GigPro to help me out with gas and parking costs while I await my pay from my new job. I am really feeling hopeless unless I can get something going with a different app. There were several jobs listed on your site that I am capable of doing and the idea seemed like a great solution for me. Too bad I cannot do much with it.

I’ve been on the platform for a year now and have been hired for exactly ZERO gigs. This is despite having over ten years experience in F&B and over 15 years behind the bar. I am also a mixologist. The problem is you’re applying for a gig with God knows how many others and long time GigPro workers are PRIORITIZED (no matter their skill set) when shifts are sent out and accepted meaning when people like me, who have never gotten on a gig, try to apply we are rejected for someone who’s been on longer. Doesn’t matter if they are the best for the position, they just have seniority. So after a year of applying for and being rejected I give up. I have been very successful on InstaWork simply because of you accept a Gig it’s yours. You’re not applying for the same gig with 120 other people.

Edit: They paid out remaining funds. Good for them for holding up their end of the deal. They had a great referral program that I hope they bring back soon. They had a referral program that they stopped suddenly and refused to pay out pending referrals. Claimed everybody violated terms. Meanwhile terms state that you can’t promote on PAID social media platforms like Facebook ads or a Twitter ad. No mention of sharing it in a Facebook group amongst friends. Will update if they pay out

The actual platform is a great opportunity. Be prepared tho that a lot of the restaurants you will be working at are understaffed and/or the other gig workers you work with are only there to collect money and not work. I guess that’s restaurant life to begin with but please be one of the ones that come to help. Also, one day a restaurant you enjoy working at will have gigs then the next thing you know they no longer are available. Otherwise this is a five-star experience.

I worked with gig pro for a while and it was good at first but, I’ve noticed the establishments that use gig pro do not train well when you’re working for them. Any issues that you have with the establishments if you take it up with gig pro they do not address them correctly and instead penalize you. Not sure why I cannot complain about a issue I had with an gig I worked and still get penalized for my opinion. What’s the point of asking me to rate my experience with the job? I hope in the new future gig pro works on their company to make it fair to all individuals who are just trying to reach a goal and not be interrupted by suspension, termination and etc etc.

I absolutely love this app I find good genuine employers through this app! The pay is decent an exceptionally well. Any time I’ve ever had an issue it was resolved respectfully an quickly and I can count on one hand how many times I even had to submit a ticket. They don’t take any of your money an they also insure you while your on the job! Great app good money definitely the way to go if your looking for daily paying jobs for sure they won’t disappoint you!

I would stick with more popular apps like Instawork and QWICK. I’ve been on the platform for a month and I have over two decades of hospitality experience. I have not been chosen for any jobs and often times I wait until an hour before a gig to find out they don’t need me or maybe they were trying o use this as a means for a back up. Either way, stick with apps that give you the shift when you click it. These business are using GigPro for backup staff in case their own don’t show up. Is that business you want to work with? Why aren’t their staff showing up? Again, stay away. Far better out there and won’t waste your time.

I am a college student and have a very sporadic schedule. This app gives me the ability to make my own schedule and get paid VERY well. I also love changing gigs every few days and hopping all around town. Instead of going in and leaving when a manager tells you, you get the ability to know exactly when you will be off and exactly how much you'll make. I couldn't ask for a better way to make quick cash.

I only say this because any other app I’m on approves my background check however with this one it has been saying pending for over a yr. When I called they said they couldn’t fix it because I was sent an email (I wasn’t) needing more information and now they can’t go back and do anything. So this makes me miss out on the highest paying jobs and they are jobs that I’ve previously worked through this app before they did background checks. Other than that it’s a great app to bring in extra money.

I had came by way to gigpro from a pp mgr that looked out for me and said you were better MetLife at the time . Never had issues excellent rating Top Pro status . Then 1 yr later 256 jobs a Diect offer Caused me a suspension a MONTH and gigpro agent for the first time would not review accordingly and it was then I HAD to realize it did not matter how valuable I had been . But in all if you need a bill paid daily pay is the only Benefit remember THIS .

I’ve been on gigpro for the contract work full-time. One of the best things about the way the app is designed, is the ability to go to different cities/states. I have family in the Charlotte area, I work while visiting them. The hourly rates are better than most food service jobs. You get to work in different positions in the food service industry,FOH, bartender, prep, fry, line cook, country club events…All of these & more with this app!

Must be nice to post gigs last second, but i wouldn’t know. What i despise about this app is that some owners post gigs and then let you go early because they don’t feel like paying you for the fulltime you were scheduled for and then it ends up dropping the rating eventhough it has nothing to do with performance and the customer service doesn’t care about it. It barely even exists to reply back. I’ve even met the creator of the app, the drunk will always be a drunk. Surprised he had enough brains to create this app, but not surprised how neglecting it is about the workers

The losing aspect of this app is having to “apply” for low paying shifts but to come back and see your application is gone. No notification that I was denied or someone else was selected. Next, we are not able to rate these businesses but they can rate us? What a power trip I’ve had to deal with at a few spots. Now, it’s difficult to find another gig cause my rating is down from a company being spiteful. Makes me look bad, and of course the app doesnt care. They send me notifications for jobs that aren’t even on the board. It’s truly a waste of a platform.

The companies are able to score you based on performance but your not able to see what your getting yourself into was hired as a prep cook for a week and they had me doing sous chef work and the moment I complained my score dropped not fair for workers at all this is not about the workers at all we have no say so and have to sit around and wait to get picked instead of picking the companies based off work and experience I've done 100 gigs how is this even possible

I joined GigPro for the freedom of having extra financial support. The most important aspects I’ve learned while working are the importance of professionalism, a dedicated work ethic and having a helpful attitude. Utilizing all three of these characteristics has allowed me to work in a variety of country clubs and venues. It shows the employer that they are getting the most value for the professionals they paid for.

Since I’ve been on the app I have been able to work the days I e needed to and get the pay immediately.. Never a bad thing when you can get your pay daily.. Haven’t had any problems with the system and as long as you keep your work site happy with your performance the opportunities will continue to build. Thanks Gigpro!

I wish I would have known about this sooner. This app is very beneficial, and have never heard or seen any app like it. If you’re out of work and need to make some quick money. This is definitely the way to go. All you need to be is a good hard worker, and to show up on time in right uniform. Never know, may even get a full time/part time job out of it. I highly recommend it.

When you sign up first couple days maybe a week can be slow just keep applying to everything eventually you should get picked once that happens complete first shift and it opens up way more gigs keep doing this start getting badges and become a pro at Gigpro and I use chime instantly for the most part you get paid right after the shift

It was super easy to book my first 3 gigs after the onboarding process. The staff at the gig were super nice and made and the job it’s self was great. Went by quickly. As a big plus they offer to pay instantly after my gigs over. I was paid maybe 30 minutes after clocking out of my shift. Definitely recommend!

I have been trying for the past 3 days trying to get the orientation video to play so that I can be verified. The app just allows me to apply for jobs and wont play the video I need to get gigs. I have deleted and re downloaded it multiple time and sent messages with no response. I was told to try this out but kinda disappointed I did

Support will never respond. Bring in an accident is not a good reason to miss work. Being sexually harassed is not a good reason to miss work. I wonder if a person died would they still consider that not a good reason to miss work. App is fickle. Screen refreshes several times when/after loading. Submitted a ticket. All I was told is to reinstall app. Well guess what that didn’t help. Not surprised. This company is horrible. Sometimes I think it would be better to delete the app and forget they exist! I do not recommend this second rate company the the so-called support team.

This is a genius idea for people who have a desire to make extra money without the commitment of a regular work schedule. The flexibility is key. Sometimes the customer service is confusing. Many times the dress requirement is incorrect from what the app says and when you show up at the venue. It is easy to miss Offers or confirmations from employers through the app.

I’ve been in F&B for 25 years, FOH. I wanted to do something not first facing for a while and still make some money, while determining my own schedule. Not only have I been able to do that, it has also helped me land a permanent job with the perfect schedule for my needs. I’ll still use it to freelance on my days off! Love it!

I signed up a few days ago, applied to over 35 gigs and not a single offer! I’ve worked Food and Bev since 2010 and have an on point resume (no spot to post resume file on profile? What?) Only applied to dish positions posted just to get foot in door and still nothing. Some post then delete the post. I thought this would be a lucrative solution between jobs and give me some control over my work life balance but apparently not. Hope its on Charleston that has this issue, may try again if I move out of state.

I love Gigpro! It has great as a side job for additional income and as my main source of income in between jobs. The jobs are fairly easy and knowing how much you’ll be paid for completing the shift makes it easier to budget. I also love the fact that I get paid right away! I’ve also met a lot of cool people along the way.

It took me the better part of six months to land my first gig-and I have years of experience-but now that I have worked a couple gigs, I am excited to see how competitive this will be to Instawork! Good amount of cities on here (I travel as a gig worker full time) Looking forward to a big future on this platform.

Listennnnn. I’ve been seriously considering just doing gigs full time. It’s a great way to make a lot of money, make new connections, learn new skills and create your own schedule. It’s gives you the flexibility needed to make money and still be able to do what it is that you love doing. I recommend highly to ANYONE

I’ve had this app for over a year and I’ve had free time to apply for gigs on days off or days before my days off I’ve applied to a gig. IVE NEVER BEEN PICKED FOR A GIG NOR DO I GET OFFERS SENT TO ME PERSONALLY. I don’t want to hear you need to do this and that. I’ve done all I can to make the profile stand out, I have 9 jobs I’ve applied for and have yet to be picked for them. I’ve even applied for jobs on the same day as they notified me and nothing. This app is useless please save your time and the bit of hope you have to make side money and go elsewhere. Trust me.

I downloaded Gigpro to help me make extra money when I was inbetween jobs. I ended up making more money doing Gigpro than I did working for a regular job. This app has saved my finances especially since I can work and get paid the same day...So happy to have found it.

Don’t bother with this app you can apply for several gigs that say no experience required and they will not choose you. Maybe good for people that work in the restaurant history and have years of experience but for someone that has only a couple years of restaurant experience they don’t choose you. I have three years of prep dishwashing and server experience and that didn’t matter.. unless you have 10+ years, then they might choose you, but don’t hold your breath you might die..

Overall I love the flexibility that is offered, there have been some issues with self check-in via phone. However, the managers have been able to fix the issue on their end.

I recommend you using another app instead of this. Their policies do not protect pros that work on this PLATFORM only businesses. Pros who hurt themselves or injure themselves in anyway will not have any protection whatsoever. Injured my back but currently unable to work for a month because rules are rules even though the gigs and me have a mutual understanding that I need hospital treatment. Please consider your health each day and do not take ANY gigs in advance if you are unsure how your health will be. You will be punished regardless. There is no understanding with this company..

Haven’t had any problems. Great app. Only thing is, I wish they had more jobs but I love the jobs I’ve been too. Pay is always on time and get a response from Gigpro anytime I had a question. Thank You Gigpro. I will never let yall down. Always show up for shift and there extra early.

Is something going wrong with the app ? I’ve unlocked installed reinstalled, the app is moving slow . Push anything it taking long to load the job , if you apply can’t go back to search for more jobs unless I close out the app and reopen . Please help me , what’s going on ?

If you need a lil extra $$$ this staffing agency platform is here to help, the employers I’ve worked with are kind, accommodating, professional and transparent with the work they want you to do in they’re job description. This app is very useful and accurate!

Companies use this app to post job opportunities to get a full time employee in. I work day shift at a job already and have tried to use this app to pick up gigs in the afternoon. No one wants that. They make a post for a certain day but in the description they are trying to get someone full time. I thought this app was to pick up shifts here and there? Companies are using the app incorrectly. I’ve applied for 4 or 5 gigs and have been denied since I don’t want to have a second full time job. Great advertisement guys!!

I have been using this app all semester and I just came back to say it’s helped me tremendously to get through this semester. I will be using it in the future as well for some extra weekend money! Very well thought out and easy to use.
