I love having Good Dog at my fingertips any where I may be. It installed quickly bringing me everything from the website to me via the App. I no longer have lag issues or have to “remember” to check emails or to find time to sit down and upload photos thru the website! Also soo quick to long into courses, I can now work on a Mod while sitting at Dr office, or waiting on a oil change! Oh!! Being able to access contract examples/templates right from the app is simple and quick! Much easier to keep up with potential puppy parents. I see this app growing!! Maybe replace some of the breeding apps I use 😉😉!! Honestly though, this is easier than AKC marketplace and I have not got hit with scammers here either!! Thank you Good Dog!
So far I have thoroughly enjoyed GoodDog over all of the platforms we’ve used in the past. It makes it very convenient, and they truly seem to be trying to work out the kinks as the platform gains popularity. A couple of things I will mention is 1: If you forget to link the contracts you have to send another money request to rectify this, even if they’ve already paid, which can make potential buyers feel uneasy. And 2: If the Buyer accidentally puts in an application for 1 Litter but decides on another they cannot put in a second application so it makes them feel as though they’re always linked to the other. Idk if the applications matter but for a breeder that is particular about organization it does matter to me. Otherwise do far I am truly enjoying GoodDog. They even update their food list if you don’t see yours listed which is great, as that is one of the most asked questions! I used to love GoodDog and referred everyone I knew, breeders and buyers to this site. I loved the health testing and titling proof, I liked that I could interview everyone and find just the right homes for my puppies. They made changes that requires all money go through them, even giving an email for people to “snitch” if you are paid or take payment “off site”. I was fine when it was an option to have people pay through the site, I actually recommended it and sold several pups from my litter and had them pay through GoodDog- even people who didn’t initially contact me from finding me on that site. It crosses the line to make it mandatory to pay through GoodDog! I would have lost buyers if some had to pay online. GoodDog ruined a good thing and I won’t be advertising or recommending them anymore. I would rather pay the monthly fees elsewhere and not have my buyers stuck with paying with a card online. Not everyone is comfortable with that, no matter how much you tell them it’s “secure”.
I got in easily and was able to navigate seamlessly. I did give it a few days before downloading after seeing others having issues logging in. I waited for the first big fix. I truly love and appreciate the ease of the mobile app and like not having to check email when I get new applications. A simple notification on my phone alerts me and I am able to contact potential applicants immediately. Also, the ease of the menu for accessing legal forms, classes, and uploading new photos and info from my phone without having to navigate the website is great! Thank you Good Dog! Job well done! Look forward to new amazing features in the future!
As a breeder I can’t speak highly enough about what Good Dog provides do bother breeders and buyers. If you’re a buyer reading this I highly recommend reaching out to Good Dog’s amazing team if you ever have questions or just ask the breeder. There is also an option to make calls through the app which is even better. And for breeders, this is an excellent way to get discounts on services and products that are necessary for responsible breeding as well as a perfect and safe way to collect payments.
Good Dog is very good about getting exposure across the country but the following enhancements could make the application great. 1) cover photos should not be limited to still pics, much more interest can be gained by allowing short video clips as the primary profile media 2. A progress bar for every pic being upload is needed. Staring at a blank screen while waiting for uploads to occur ( if ever) is a waste of productive time. 3. If there is a limit size on uploads a warning should be BEFORE not after uploading with a generic error message. 4. The general location of an individual should generally be known prior to interacting. Many times individuals 3000 miles away have requested information and issues with pic and bodies makes this a cumbersome process. If the individual is in the region then interaction is much more fruitful. Example of request. John Smith of --> Seattle WA <—is interested in Male Pup 1. Good Dog is a good app but development efforts should be making it a great app for mobile devices ( primary interface for buyers AND breeders)
This is my first litter to post with Good Dog and I am nothing but happy. It took a while for the first inquiry to come. I was getting worried, but it turned out to be a qualified lead that turned into a sale. The rest were mostly tire kickers but so far I have been extremely pleased.
I made my own website but I get more serious buyers through Gooddog. I try to make sure my dogs are health tested and raised right and gooddog helps put that on display. The chat feature is really good and seamless and I can update info on my dogs easily.
As a breeder this app has helped find my pups there forever homes! It’s user friendly and safe network has helped my families feel secure after running into scams on facebook or other sites. Love good dog and the amazing team behind it. I have placed many pups to great homes thanks to good dog.
Good Dog has been extremely beneficial to our kennel. We always sell between one to four puppies through Good Dog. Their customer service is great. Their payment transactions are fast. Never had any issues our clients like it as well for their protection
First, let me say App Support on the App Store is for actual app support!!! Second, you’ve ruined the app with the recent update! All of my litters have been reset (for lack of a better term) to a few days after whelping & some have been removed completely! All of my pics have been removed. All of my health testing! All of my assignment info! All of my owner info! EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!! And if you can’t even bother to contact anyone back about these SERIOUS issues, what good are you?!
I love good dog, however, I wish your fees weren’t so high for the customer. Perhaps , consider charging the breeder a small advertising fee to lighten the fee for my clients/customer. Otherwise, I love good dog. My clients trust you making it wonderful for the client as well as the breeder. Thank you for your services.
My sister introduced me to this app a few years ago and I am very thankful for it. It’s very easy to use and to connect with good buyers. It helps good breeders find good homes for their puppies. They’ve added a lot of features to help the process go smoothly.
Like most apps in their infancy Good Dog has lots of improvements still to make, however, they do listen to the breeders and adjust according to what helps us improve the experience for us and the buyers. I do recommend them a lot!
I’ve gotten so many wonderful families thru my use of GoodDog. I love how it’s a secure site for my buyers to feel safe with transactions. They are always available to sellers with questions or help for someone like me who is not computer savvy. Thank you GoodDog!

I I definitely have some recommendations for the app to make this better, but overall it is nice to have a safe environment this day and age for customers and breeders to do business!
I love that Gooddog allows both the seller and buyers( future puppy families) the peace of mind knowing their breeders are prescreened and the breeders get a wonderful application to break the ice and bring prescreened potential families to them
I like being able to find good homes for my babies on this website. It gives a clear picture of the pups and their parents. A good site for both adoptee and breeder!

It would be VERY instrumental if when Good Dog does updates and/or make changes that they explain them instead of a generic same msg statement that we are enhancing your experience.

bad experience as a breeder. They have no respect or support for breeders. led send private documents and social media accounts. I was talking to a consultant named Syd, I called her and she never answered. They don't support the breeders, they just benefit from us. Bad experience
charging excessive fees to accommodate the puppies, they put filters that even if you send them veterinary references or the exams of your dogs, they delete your account, even if they have already accepted you. it's a waste of time!
