Amazing GMP App
This is the most thorough, user friendly and full service App I have ever used. We use the services of multiple utilities on 3 different properties, and love the GMP website app. For you to understand why this is so amazing for me, it is important to understand that I have a PhD and experienced several car accidents that resulted in concussions and post-concussive syndrome since 2014. The concussions ended my career, but also created great difficulties for me navigating computer apps easily ongoing. Thank you GMP for doing the research it took to get your App and Website user friendly for us.

The reason not to give it 5 stars is that GMP employees do not seem to use it as intended. Typically, in the event of an outage, the system pops up with the "outage is being evaluated and an estimated time for restoration" is posted. And, that is the end of it. No estimated time of restoration is posted, but the power is restored. Often, the power is restored in 1-3 hours. At times it is longer. Even in the event of a long outage, no one bothers to post an estimated restoration time. I have noted one instance when a reported estimated time was posted, seemingly mocking the process by posting an improbably precise time, such as 2:47pm. This was perhaps coincidentally after one of the times that I had reported that estimated times are usually not posted. The people answering the phone are aware of the situation and are quite apologetic. Maybe somebody in management will take an interest in the reviews.

Beyond frustrating
This is a great app when it works, and has a ton of useful information for monitoring your energy use. And as far as utilities go, GMP is the best in terms of service that I’ve ever had to deal with, and it is also both extremely socially conscious and environmentally forward looking, a rarity in this industry. Unfortunately their app almost always stops working after I have checked the “summary” function a few times. I can’t even say how many times I have reinstalled it, but the information is valuable and I can’t seem to find it on their website, so I continue to go through the hassle of reinstalling over and over again. Hopefully a phone upgrade from my old 6s will fix this—not that I haven’t kept up to date with all the latest OiS versions.

Great app
I love that this app is easy to use and great to quickly login and make a payment with only a couple quick easy steps. I also like how you can view your usage and see the entire breakdown and when the most energy is being used. Thanks for making it so convenient to pay my bill! I will say that in the last few months my bill has increased quite drastically and concerns me a bit but other than that no complaints!

Lex in Billing
What a great ambassador for GMP you have in Lex. I called today worried about disconnection this morning. I said I wouldn’t be able to pay til noon, and asked if she could delay it til then. She was kind and supportive. It made all the difference. Said she’d give me til end of business today. My husband left and I’ve been struggling financially. Long story short, I was able to pay in full before nine after all. Her attitude made all the difference in my morning, thank you.

Easy and Convienent to Pay!
I love how fast and efficiently that I can pay my power bill each month by using the GMP app. It’s awesome for checking out how much you owe each month and staying on top of your bill! I love the notification of a power outage part of the app too. Very useful!! I think the app is very user friendly and easy to access as well. Even a person who isn’t that computer literate can figure it out.

Great app
Way to go guys! An app that isn’t a totally pain in the neck to use. Should be a low bar, but isn’t, and any app that clears it earns 5 stars in my book. ONE CAVEAT/RECOMMENDATION: make the charts and comparison graphs for historical usage data a bit better for actually comparing usage data over time, especially by month across multiple years, and easier to understand breakdown of usage across different rate plans. That is all. Thanks!

Wouldn’t change a thing!
Only change I would make is to have reconnection request available from app after making payment so u don’t have to call with confirmation number…. ⬆️⬆️⬆️👆 DISREGARD!!!!! >>>> in midst creating this review post moments after making payment… power reconnected without even having to call!!!! Ty GMP tech team for creating a wonderful app!

Such a great user experience
This app is so clean. Extremely easy to use and pleasant to look at. I feel like that sort of thing needs to be praised more often. My grandma really struggles with all the apps she needs to use to pay bills and adapt to this modern world, but with an app as good as this id imagine there are very few elderly struggling to use it. I’d give it 6 stars if I could :)

Excellent!
App design and functionality is one of the best I’ve seen. Very easy to use. Provides everything I need related to this account in easy-to-find places with all of the information in that one place. I’ve never needed to talk to customer service about information related to this account because of thorough design of this app.

Worst app I’ve seen
This has to be by far the worst app I’ve ever seen or used, it very rarely functions as it should and when it does work the only working feature is the ability to see and pay your bill. The report outage function the view outage map function payment history none of it ever works properly and now the app isn’t even opening, why publish an app of its not going to function as it should or better yet not function at all? I’d switch power companies if they weren’t the only electricity provider in my area, can’t wait to buy a house you can bet it’ll be solar or a different company all together.

Very useful!
Quick and easy to use, makes keeping up with my bill easy. Incredible granularity when looking at day to day power usage, and helps see when we are using the most power. One nice feature would be the ability to choose previous balance when paying your bill rather than always being given the full amount.

Great for payments and tracking outages!
This app is so helpful when you need to make a payment. We live somewhere that experiences severe weather. So it can be very useful to know when an outage is area wide or simply individual. This app helps identify where outages are, notify GMP of any outages, and get an idea of when they may be resolved. I find it very helpful!

Up to date and responsive
I enjoy using this app to check how much electricity we have used in a given time period, if there are power outages in our area or at our house when we are not home, and to pay our monthly bill. The app is responsive and overall easy to use!

GMP App
My only complaint is more frequently in the last few months, the daily updates of usage are not always available after 6 am. It send to be maybe once or twice a year the updates would be delayed by 24 hours. Now it seems almost weekly that there is a delay. Otherwise, I would give a 5 star rating

Easy to Use Online Payments
I find the GMP app very convenient for online payments of our electronic bill. It is especially handy to get a real time payment confirmation within the app, complete with confirmation number, as well as an e-mail confirmation of payment. I’ll continue to pay this way, and save my stamps.

I truly like this app. It makes it easier to see what I’m using for power so I’m not wasting my money by having things running when it’s not needed Along with the fact that the company I work for is contracted with them makes a breeze to see who does and doesn’t have power in their area when I’m on storm clean up

Pretty good app
GMP has made several upgrades to this app in the past year or so. I refer to it on a daily basis to track power consumption and solar generation from my roof mount solar array. The on thing I wish was a bit better is the net meter usage aspect reads 0.0kWh if the generation and usage are within 80kWh. I wish it was a bit more accurate in that aspect. Other than that it has made bill payment easier.

Easy to use. Good job by the developer! Too bad Green Mountain Powers rates are ridiculously high! Stop paying your executives so much money & concentrate on helping consumers afford to live in today’s economy. Obviously that won’t happen because the higher-ups and people who make more than 100 K a year rule the world financially.! True Story

Absolutely love this app
This makes things so much more easier then writing checks or losing bills and having a possible shut off notice because last months bill got lost in the mail. I would strongly recommend all individuals having this company use this app.

Seamless account interaction
logging into the account is just like logging into the website. All of my information including payment information was there already which made using the app seamless. Also very easy for checking the status of power outages and seeing it on a map.

Extremely User Friendly!
This app is great. Straight forward, easy to understand, super user friendly. There are a lot of apps now to pay various bills. I wish they could all be structured like this one. Using it is almost enjoyable (but I’m still paying a bill so its not *that* enjoyable) Thank you GMP, keep up the good stuff!

App with ease!
It’s not that complicated, so why do so many companies develop and use defective/cumbersome/lag time apps?? Hats off to GMP! Good job! Apps are completely out of control. I wish they would ALL use GMP app as an example of a correct customer friendly one stop shop. Keep up the great work, but above all, don’t change a thing!! Steve

Seamless
A well designed, very user friendly app that’s easy to use for many things. Report an outage, check the status of the grid in your area and at your own house, pay a bill, etc …. really user friendly. Way better than the Verizon app, and those dummies own a phone company!!!

This app is the easiest mobile Pay app that exists and it does everything you need it to do, you can check your usage, it tells you when your using more power and when your using less. It’s a great app and about as simple as it can get!

Very clear, well-designed
As much as I hate everything else about this company and its lobby, the app is really stress-free, well-designed, and makes paying 2x more for electric than everyone else almost worth it. We should nationalize utilities to bring down costs. Such necessities should not be subject to the “free-market.”

For a normal app, surprisingly great
This is a normal app, but so outstanding it’s worth a quick review. Amazing that a small electric company manages to make an app that is so fast and visually easy to use, whereas big national companies with probably 1000x more budget and users like AT&T make an app that is almost insufferably bad at nearly every level.

One Small Problem
This app is well-designed and very useful. In the Usage section, when I look at the bar graphs, the labels at the bottom of my IPad cover up the bottom portion so I can’t see the dates . On low usage days, the entire bar is covered. In previous versions, I could see them perfectly. If that could be corrected, it would be great- 5 Star!

Efficient, needs a few tweaks
Overall, great app. Easy to navigate, pay bills, and check usage. Some of the stats tools stopped working for me over a year ago. I’ve made sure to keep the app up-to-date, hasn’t seemed to have made any difference. However, this is still better than some other bill paying apps I use.

It's great!
I find it useful in the wars it's meant to be; Biking is straightforward, setting up payments or making payment plan is easy and quick. The outage center is really neat to report/check on/just check out power outages and the grid situation around us. Thanks GMP, you guys are absolutely leaders in the game! 😃

Used to be a great app
Not sure why, but the “select date” portion for making a payment is no longer an option. There are 4 steps to paying the bill—it even says which step at the top of the screen, but it now jumps from step 2 to 4, skipping the select a date option in step 3. Before this ‘glitch’ started happening this app was 5 Stars—very straight forward and user friendly! Please fix this problem

Payment processing
I have been using the GMP app to pay my monthly bills for a few years now. I pay all my bills on line and have to say this app is one of the easiest to use. I am in and out quickly to process my payment flawlessly. Highly recommend it!

Very easy to check everything
This is a great app to go and pay bills, check my billing status or my solar production. Some of the functionality is limited on an iPhone, but it works just fine with an iPad mini or larger. Keep up the good work!

GMP App rating
This app gets four out of five stars. Overall, it gets the job done, but there could be some improvements. The scheduling of a payment could be more clearly delineated with information readily at hand showing when the payment is actually due. Other than that, I have no issue with the app.

As long as you are able to have internet you can use the app. If unfortunately, you lose power and internet you are at the mercy of someone else to report and check status.

Solid App
The GMP app is extremely simple and streamlined. I love that it takes me 45 seconds to pay my bill, and everything is paperless. A+. I will say it would be cool to be able to alert them to a power outage via the app, but the app does not work without internet so that’s a no.

Good app love it but has issues showing data sometimes.
I like the app but freezes a lot where I can’t view my usage, and often I have to delete app and reinstall it. And when it says how many days left in billing period it’s usually off by 2 days. I’ve been trying new thing to try to reduce my power bill so I tend to check my usage a lot.

Green Mountain Power App is pretty good, but it should come automatically with a quick link to be able to find it in your homepage automatically instead of having to make one on your own after you download the app. You have to find it and then make a quick link, but other than that, it’s a pretty good app.

I reported an outage via the app because we had no cell service..I cannot express how impressed I am…GMP arrived within an hour with several utility trucks and servicemen!!! They had our Phase that blew fixed within 30 mins of arriving! Thank You all so much for your rapid response!

Original app was not great froze up a lot or crashed. Bugs seem to be worked out app runs smoothly, content is updated regularly and makes paying you bill take less than min.

Great Way!
It’s fast and simple. This app gives you the just what you need to know right when you open it, and also has the option for you to look at closer details of your account all in your own time, and space!!!! GMP has (so far) been both courteous and professional with me.

Stops playing audio when opening
This app works well most of the time, though there is one specific bug that I’m knocking a star off for. For whatever reason, if I am listening to music or a podcast on my phone and open the GMP app, it will pause what I’m listening to. The GMP app doesn’t use any sound, so why is this happening? Please fix!

A very good app, however, I would recommend one very useful software addition: A live kilowatt usage indicator. The current usage bars reflect a delayed usage. When I have guests leaving, it would be good to know how much electricity is being generated at the moment.

Well done, just a slight glitch in the usage view
Everything works except when trying view monthly/weekly/daily usage — you can’t see the month/week/day names so you have to count the bars, which is a little annoying.
