This app needs serious updating. It crashes all the time. I turned some devices off…now I can’t turn them back on. The app simply will not work. Have reinstalled, tried on different devices with no luck at all. Please FIX this app!!!!
If you try to sort the things section in any other way it immediately crashes the app. Also, the things list is limited and truncates the list of devices at 18. Please update the app to not truncate the device count and fix the sorting option.
My app sliders suddenly quit working. Now I have devices that I can not get internet access on. My son is very unhappy about is video game console being “stuck” w/o internet access. I went through GVTC and they tried everything on there end with no resolution. It seems to be an app to router issue. This app needs immediate attention! If anyone else has had this issue what resolved it?
[December 13th, 2021 - Updated] nice improvements of the app over the last few months. Good to see the usage per device and ability to “pause/stop”. So bumping from 1 star to 4: waiting a few more months to see if app continue to be stable. @GVTCEngineering team: continue the work, great improvements. One thing which will be a nice addition will be a view of any outages / history. Even if internet at home is busted, iPhone will continue to work on cellular plan and being able to see outages will be a plus. [original review] Just recently signed up for GVTC : technician that came was great but the app to manage wifi is just bad! If you try to see any of the device connected to your network, good luck since the app just crash EVERYTHING single time. GVTC fix that ASAP : looks like it is a well know problem but you guys don’t bother fixing it.
Last update was 8 months ago. There have been some significant updates with Apple and the app keeps crashing after opening. This needs immediate attention to all the full suite of options that GVTC touts.
None of my devices show up. When they did originally it lasted only a week and the part where you can disconnect devices didn’t work. Now nothing shows up. Pretty useless honestly.
Switched to GVTC due to buffering and outage with Spectrum. Extremely satisfied with all GVTC services to date. Glad we made the change. We have had no disruption of service since we got set up. GVTC is fiber optic VS Spectrum coax cable. I don’t need to say anymore.
This needs to be addressed by GVTC immediately if they are going to continue to toot the horn on the things this can do. I need access to parental controls and this is not working properly.
App damages your network connection, you can’t see your devices, and also if you try to set a parent control, it will block your devices forever. Total headache!!
