Best App ever with no monthly fees!
I used to need someone else to make phone calls for me. I am hard of hearing and it is progressive. On my daughters birthday, five of us went out to a restaurant. I could not hear any the conversations. I could read lips but sentences and content were indecipherable. I was isolated the whole nite - smiling when everyone else was amd trying to nod when it seemed fitting. INNOCAPTION has amazingly opened the door to the hearing world! I used you avoid using the phone, and now I am so empowered that I enjoy even talking to Medicare! You can select a live operator or a technology driven computer program. InnoCaption has enabled me to read exactly what’s being said with 99% accuracy. No more asking my husband or family member to help me use the telephone. It’s not a welcome request to ask someone to call the DMV or your insurance company for you. Now I can do it myself with crystal clear accuracy. The I ocaption features were well thought out and leave you with more than a hearing person using the phone would. For example, you can retain a copy of a conversation. That helps you with recording old phone numbers, remembering dates and ID numbers, and remembering names. For anyone who struggles with hearing loss and subsequently using the phone, get this app. You will wonder how do you survived without it I give it 100+ percent satisfaction.

Great App
I never leave reviews, but InnoCaption has been such a game changer for me, I felt compelled to do so. This is the third caption app I have tried and it has been so much better than the others. It gives you the option of using an individual to transcribe or automated assistance. The option of a human to transcribe is supposedly more accurate and the automated option is faster. I started using it with a human transcriber and then switched to the automated option. I found both to be accurate. The automated is very accurate and the only time I have any real problems is with numbers. It can get a bit confused with phone numbers and such but it is usually so fast and accurate that it is the only option I have ever used and was able to have a normal conversation without asking people to hold on while I waited for the captions. It is the first time in 20 years that I have not dreaded making a phone call. Also, the voice mail is so much easier than my last app. My last app required using a tree menu. Push 1 for this, 2 for that, etc. Transcribers have a hard time with those trees. InnoCaption lists the calls and you just pick the one you want to hear. No need to push a bunch of options trying to find the call you want. This has been a GREAT APP for me. I hope they keep it up. I would really hate to lose it.

Innocaption App lifesaver
I started using Innocaption about a month before Hurricane Delta 75 mph winds split a cedar tree in half which continued to slowly lean towards my house and a busy street as well as knocked down several large limbs and branches from other trees. It became urgent to remove the cedar tree asap. With no electricity to use my CapTel home phone, the Innocaption app service was a lifesaver in being able to contact tree companies. Thankfully, the tree was removed 1 1/2 days later. Without Innocaption, I would have had to wait 3 days when I finally got power to use my phone!! It is now a few years later and now I’m using the Deskview on my computer as well. I needed help to get it installed. Susie and their engineers worked with me every step of the way until the problem on my computer was resolved. The FREEDOM the Innocaption app gives me, as I run around town when family, Medical appts, etc. call, helps me not worry that I will miss a call when I leave the house where I use my Captel phone which I love at home. If I have no electricity, I have access to my cell phone to make calls through Innocaption. When I was in the hospital for a month, I was able to continue to talk to family snd friends. So I encourage everyone to give Innocaption a try by signing in the app to see if it works as well for you as it has me!!

Love this app!
I had gotten a different TTY home phone and app before this one. When I was ready to start using it, the home phone couldn’t be connected to WiFi so I found its app. I worked many hours daily for around a week, each time I thought it was set up, discovered new issues not to be found in the tutorial. Now THIS app?! Beautiful! It was super easy to set up plus instead of having to call customer support for any issues needing addressed, waiting for long time, you can get on a chat with them immediately. Customer service is excellent, I found this app accidentally when I found I had to use Zoom for a video appointment and was searching for help because I didn’t have anyone to come over to help me understand the doctor. That’s when I found out that this app not only works beautifully with iPhone and iPad, it has a desktop version to enable us to use closed captioning when in a Zoom appointment. I haven’t got to use this with Zoom yet but I foresee no problems with using the desktop version of this with it. I was just so happy after being able to make a few phone calls and also receiving phone calls on this after having my iPhone number forwarded to ring here, I want everyone to know this is by far, the most amazing app for the deaf! ♥️

Unbelievable App
As a person that due to hearing loss has many problems understanding spoken words even in an everyday environment. Add that problem with cell phone communications and it really goes downhill. Especially when talking with people that have high pitch voices. This product is like closed caption for TV except it is extremely fast and accurate with translation of spoken word to text right on your phone screen. It is a game changer for hearing challenged people like myself. I can even talk with people when I can’t hear a word they are saying. It will also optionally, via a setting, translate English speaking people to provide the text in Spanish. I never know there was anything form an app perspective that could help me with phone conversations and on top of that with no charge for the app or usage charges when it is being used. As a retired IT veteran of 45 years, I’m pretty tough in handing out reviews. This is the first app I’ve ever given a 5+ rating. If you or any of your friends have hearing problems, whether they use hearing aids (that really don’t do a lot for pitch) or not, this is a must have app. 5+++++++

Operators are half asleep
I had an important job interview today over the phone. The operator literally didn’t type out half of what the person on the line said. When the operator did manage to write anything, it was total gibberish. The words certainly weren’t part of the English language. I would’ve been happier allowing the darn automated program to type out the conversation rather than the operator I was transferred to. Unfortunately, this happens A LOT with InnoCaption. Some operators are great, and others are totally worthless. It’s like they’re half asleep or not even paying attention. My customer experience over the last few years has been frustrating because InnoCaption consistently drops the ball when I need them most. There needs to be a feature where InnoCaption users can send SOME kind of single to the operator that they’re screwing up. Hopefully that jars the operator into paying attention. Mistyping is one thing. Not typing for a minute at a time is incompetent.

Life-changing app with tireless dedicated support staff
I have been using InnoCaption for several years and have always been grateful for the ability to have conversations again on the phone (without captioning I can only comprehend every 10th word or so, making use of the phone impossible). The features that the app offers make it far better than the other phone options available, and the captioning is quite accurate. I especially appreciate the call forwarding and audio to landline options as well as the ability to have the app on other cell phones using the same account. Following the latest IOS iphone update (which may or may not have caused the problem), I had all incoming calls immediately go to voicemail. The support team was immediately responsive, pleasant, and respectful. In particular, Minah showed great perseverance in solving the problem. I wholeheartedly recommend the app without reservation!

Great App
Wow what a fantastic app. Thank you so much! I loss my hearing in my left ear about 10 years ago but until recently still could hear via my right ear. This pass week the ability to hear in my right ear was completely lost. I was devastated. My colleague told me about InniCaption so I downloaded it on my iPhone and found it to be an easy and absolutely amazing app. I am able to make calls and see in text what they are saying. I can attend meetings by calling in to a meeting and see what others are saying. What an amazing app. The Support Team at InnoCaption are si helpful. I also use Windows version of the software which allows me to invite others and see text of what they are saying. I am still learning what other features are available. I can express my gratitude to the developers of this app. I have been a software developer all my life but this app is fantastic. Thank you so much and keep un the good work. God Bless you!

Great customer support
I’ve been with Innocaption from the start. They made a presentation more than a year before the service was available. The wait was worth it. The captions were more accurate than what I had on my landline service. But even those captions were so-so compared to what they have now. ASR is faster than live CART. I guess it must now be aided by AI because it’s close to flawless. But the best thing about Innocaption is the customer service. There have been problems. When I have a problem I send an email and receive a prompt reply. We practically have a conversation with the emails back and forth. I now know I have to shut the phone down once a week, which is good for some other apps. It also seems that restarting the app solves everything else, and it’s simple to do. You really can’t go wrong with this app because of the speed and accuracy of the captions and the customer service.

Technology has come a long way, it’s really amazing and this app is an instance of that. I remain professionally employed, which I could not do without this app. It’s not 100%, but it’s maybe 85% accurate, depending on the strength of the voice coming through. One thing I’ve noticed is callers on the other end using low quality headsets, microphones bluetooth devices whatever really degrades the signal. Captioning improves dramatically if I can gracefully get the other person off that low quality piece of unmentionable. That’s not Innocaption’s fault, just the way of the world. I used the captioners for about a year, and then switched over to the ASL engine, which I find more consistent in performance. All in all, I am very grateful for this app, and also for the US taxpayer dollars that fund the company. It’s free to you and me, but the program funding the company is a great example of where the US government works well.

Ménière’s disease
I’ll keep this brief as I have a sick wife at home and I’m on my way to the grocery store to get her some medicine. I’m a realtor. Therefore, as you can guess I’m on the phone all the time. If you know what Ménière’s disease is then you know progressive fluctuating hearing loss is one of the issues with it. Talking on the phone has become increasingly difficult for me. I’ve recently found myself not wanting to accept calls because trying to hear someone is so challenging. I even wear hearing aids so the volume of the conversation is sent directly into them. Still challenging at that. I downloaded this app two days ago. I just got off the phone with s foreign client. His accent has been challenging for me to understand in person and very difficult over the phone. This app saved my relationship with him as I can now communicate normally through it. never been so excited
i am legal oral deaf. phone calls were always my struggle. lack of Asl skill as i was forced raised to be oral. . i have tried purple, caption phone iprelay. list goes on. i never felt satisfy with phone calls do to delays in relaying calls , ask signs i’m not familiar with etc. i discovered this app as trying to find what best would work for me as an oral deaf. i am so excited that when i received a business call through this app. there was absolutely no delay in transcribing what was being said on other end. and they were able to hear my responds without getting frustrated with the delay responds. thank you so much! now left to discover is a way to have better transcribe voice to caption service as in person. i try using ava and that app crashes alot. need something more reliable in this “mask wearing “ era as block the ability to lipread.

I never thought an app would change my life
I have struggled with phone calls for decades. I’m in sales and have always defaulted to asking customers to text me or email me if they needed anything. Most were okay with that, but there are some people who are technologically challenged. A phone call works better for them. The InnoCaption app has changed all that for me. My customers can call me on my cell and from their perspective, they wouldn’t know they were talking to a hearing impaired person. Outside of work, I can actually have phone conversations with friends and family, or make a dinner reservation or doctors appointment without having to ask my SO to make the call for me. I can’t say enough about how this app has helped me. Give it a try!

Only way i can make phone calls
Before I discovered InnoCaption, I was unable to make phone calls myself (I’m hard of hearing). I would always have to ask friends or family to make calls for me if I couldn’t find another way to contact them. I don’t like depending on people like that and it could be embarrassing at times if it was a doctor call or something I wanted to keep private. Then I discovered InnoCaption and boom, I was able to make calls again after! It gave me freedom and also a sense of ease if there is an emergency and no one is around to call 911 for me. I’m forever grateful for InnoCaption and love how easy it is to use. The option for live transcriber or automatic is helpful because sometimes the call is quick and I dont need a live transcriber for it.

Horrible InnoCaption Service
This is a horrible App!!! I was told it would be able to give me captions, so that I could understand phone calls. Unfortunately, my InnoCaption number was hacked. I get calls daily from solicitation organizations, trying to get money from me, playing recorded messages that are perfectly captioned, but I can’t interrupt. These are automatic Robo dial calls. I am tired of blocking the calls that I get daily. I have contacted InnoCaption by way of email. I have begged them to take me off their service. They don’t seem to be able to do that properly. They won’t contact me any other way but by email. I wish I had never signed up for InnoCaption. Update:I just got an email from InnoCaption. I was removed from their service. I hope they don’t give anybody else the number that I had because it was definitely a hacked number. I have been removed and I am grateful. I’m really sorry that Robo calls kept me from using this service. I have deaf friends I really wanted to communicate with on this service and we never got it working correctly.

I’m in love love love with this app
This app is awesome and so good!!! I’m loving the new updates to this app. No more clicking on the notifications to connect to the app during an incoming or outgoing call. It has been streamlined to where I just make a call or receive a call and the app does the rest of the work for me. This is a godsend for me as I’m more independent with the help of this service to handle or take care of my daily tasks. Also allowing others to know it’s me calling from caller Id versus an unknown number they are not used to receive which would not have them answer the call. This is a great app thanks to the developers who worked tirelessly to make our job easier and enjoy conversations with family friends and businesses on the regular. Keep up with the good work. The Best
I am not the kind of person who writes reviews. But I have to share this with you because from my other experience with one app for the deaf and hard of hearing. But this app is the best that I ever experienced with. I’m able to hear and read what the person is saying without waiting seconds after they spoke. And the best part of it is the voice message when people can leave a message and I am able to read and hear what they said. Another best part is I get to keep my own phone number!!! I really like this app a lot. At first it was a little difficult for me but once I got use to it it’s worth it. A lot better than the other app I was using before this. I’m so thankful and it makes my calls easier and comfortable

Deaf and on Medicare
I’m 95% in both ears and phone conversations are just not doable. I worked as long as possible in the construction trade and have been on disability for my hearing for 8 years. Getting life insurance and trying to take advantage of new offers in Medicare has been like a “dream”. Not achievable without using voice calls. I’ve done everything feasible online to no avail. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ After getting this app and a little time to get comfortable I’ve not only been able to find a life insurance plan that fits my budget but have also picked up a supplemental plan for my Medicare that includes dental and hearing! Im very impressed and humbled by the support and patience of the captions operator’s I’ve had during all my calls. Absolutely could not have done this or have the peace of mind, satisfaction of taking care of these things personally without this service. Have used other services in the past and there is no comparison. Top of the line app and employees. Thank you. Tech Support With a Live Human
Been a happy InnoCaption user for several years. It really enables me to stay connected personally and professionally. Suddenly the app quit working on my IPad. Would not let me log in… even after reboots and setting new passwords. Connected with Support via text on my IPhone and tho it took awhile for their engineers to figure it out… I could stay in contact with the same individual the whole time and was informed of what they were doing and when they needed me to try to log in again. Turned out it was glitch that only impacted me and one other user. They stayed with it till they figured it out and I never felt like “it was my problem “ Great company that knows how to work with people.

Best captioning service for devices plus best support
This captioning app is very easy to use and it's pretty accurate with Captioning. What I like is that it gives you choices if you'd like live captioning or an automatic transcribe. It saves call transcripts after you've completed a call. And you can backup and restore calls. I've had 2 issues with the app and both times I've contacted support, they've gotten back to me quickly with links on how to resolve my problem. The links are very easy to understand. Support checks back with you to see if issue fixed. And if not, they walk you through other steps to take. They are very kind and compassionate. I was using another captioning app prior to this one, and InnoCaption is far superior to the other app.

Thankful for this app
As an adult, I was diagnosed with progressive moderate to severe high-frequency sensorineural hearing loss and visual impairment due to genetic causes. I was very naive about the resources available and struggled for years with phone calls. I was so grateful to learn about, encounter, and use this app. I really appreciate that I can modify the font, text size, and color profiles so that I can read the captions. The captions are very fast and accurate. I have much less anxiety handling important business matters on the phone, whereas I had been avoiding phone communication. This app has helped me with my communication and socialization. I’m very grateful, and think the people who designed it and work for it are truly a gift. I had no idea these sort of resources were federally funded, so was so happy to also learn this as the cost of my healthcare and related needs continues to rise. I appreciated reading the stories of the founders and the people who work for this company. Life made much easier!
InnoCaption just made my life so much easier! I’ve been hoping for such an aid to making phone calls since I experienced a profound hearing loss ten years ago. I did use a caption phone for a time but had to stand or sit in front of it and they’re not perfect. Having lived without a caption phone for a few years now has been challenging …until a rep from MedEl told me about InnoCaption. I am so thrilled to have such a great aid for making and receiving calls! It’s been extremely accurate and I no longer feel nervous or stressed using my phone. Till now I depended mostly on texting for communicating, and even enlisted the help of my husband if I had to make a call. I’m so very grateful !

InnoCaption renders this user as independent
My family is so grateful that I am independent in using the phone due to InnoCaption app. The captioners do an outstanding job most of the time. I like being able to save transcriptions for medical records and family history. I like being able to understand and follow loved ones in conversations that used to be impossible without the app. It has given me peace of mind that if I am needed, I can support others by listening with the little bit of hearing that I have and reading what is said. Tech support is also prompt and effective. I feel as if I am among positive friends. It is such a wonderful service for me and other deaf users. I totally recommend this app and service.

Awesome service
Thank you for your incredible service for your Caption app. Being newly deaf has brought me many challenges. It’s comforting to know I can reach InnoCaption at any time. Their staff are all so friendly and I appreciate all of the help I’ve received which has been a lot. I think one day we were trying different things for almost 2 hours yet they were just as friendly and didn’t rush me. I recommend their app. It’s so easy to use. I really really recommend getting in touch with customer service if you need help. Over all it is a very user friendly company. I thank them from the bottom of my heart. Their patience is endless and their attitude is phenomenal!

Missing incoming calls and delay when answering calls
I like the app and when working it’s great for those of us with hearing loss. BUT. over the past several months their have been several times where incoming calls never made it. I’m disabling the call forwarding feature and losing the ability to caption incoming calls. When calls do make it through there is usually several seconds of delay after answering. Many of those times I’m just not able to to answer call and the caller gives up or leaves a voicemail. Very frustrating pushing that blue arrow and not being able to connect. For time being, I plan to use only for outgoing calls but that severely affects the usefulness. Perhaps using the InnoCaption phone number for incoming calls would be more reliable but that is just not an option for me.

Best phone communication in years
Despite hearing aid & Cochlear implant I was having a very hard to impossible time on the phone. The InnoCaption App has revolutionized my phone use. Transcription is nearly instantaneous, and 99% accurate in ASR - automatic speech recognition. So good, in fact, that I’ve never even tried the human transcriber. I used to avoid using my cell phone, but now it’s all I use. When something seems like it’s not working right I send them an email describing the problem, and they get back to me within the hour telling me how to fix it, and it works again. No Five Stars
I would give this app five stars if it came up with a translation service for in person or group conversation. So if I am at the doctors office and he wants to keep his face mask on where I cannot read his lips since I dont know ASL, and am predominantly a lip reader. I would love for this app to have the ability to record conversations in person for private situations, like going to the doctors or to therapy and especially in restaurants so I can hear the waitor. This is just a suggestion. I believe it would be called "live captions" There should be one universal app for all d/Deaf and HOH people world wide and yet, we do not have that accommodation. I struggle with group meetings of 15 or more people for work, like at a clinical meeting as a social worker.

Game changing
My husband started a new job one week before the pandemic shutdown. Since working from home, mostly on the phone, he has been struggling day after day. The other day I thought to myself, we have planes that fly without a pilot there has to be something to help the hard of hearing on a cell phone. Sure enough I found this app & installed it right away. He loves it! It’s a game changer & his new boss already said they can tell the difference with his understanding of the conversation. THANK YOU for this technology! Our only suggestion would be to put spaces in between each sentence like texting. It is a little hard to read when the conversation gets long.

Life Changing App
This App has been life changing for me. I have a hearing aid and a cochlear implant but due to a software issue I cannot bimodal stream. Therefore I cannot have a telephone conversation. Even before my cochlear implant, telephone calls were difficult. This app has allowed me to actually talk on the phone with my family and understand what they are saying. The captioning is fast and accurate. It works for both incoming and outgoing calls. For incoming you need to set up call forwarding. The auto process in the App didn't work for me so I set up call forwarding in the Iphone settings directly using the new phone number provided. Every Audiologist should recommend this App. I found it on mine own thru social media.

Best captioning app
This is an excellent app. I’ve tried all of the current ones and this one is the best. I had to guess what a caller was saying. With this app, there is no problem. Plus the captioning is correct 90% of the time. And it is close enough that I can figure it out. I’ve used this app for conversations with medical professionals, insurance agents, friends, business calls, etc. the transcripts can be saved which is great. The tech support is great. They are knowledgeable and respond promptly. Plus, their help documentation is comprehensive. I’ve recommended and demonstrated this to my audiologist and ENT who were so impressed that they are suggesting it to their patients.

Amazing!
This app is amazing! I have been severely hearing impaired for several years and have been unable to hear on a phone for sometime. I’ve had to have a friend make important calls for me. InnoCaption has provided me with the ability to now make and receive calls independently for the first time in several years and has given me the peace of mind knowing that I can even make emergency calls if needed. I feel so empowered and truly thankful for this opportunity!! The Support is extremely responsive and the text accuracy is excellent. I called all of my friends after downloading the app to say “hi” and they were all amazed. THANK YOU!!

An asset for the hard if hearing
I am hard of hearing and find it difficult to hear/understand what’s being said with some conversations. I’ve found it difficult to hear/ understand some medical office personnel or a banker or a person dealing with a business. It used to frightened that I’d miss something important being said. With InnoCaption, the speaker’s voice is transcribed on the screen. I don’t miss anything being said. With InnoCaption, I’m confident doing business over the phone or talking to a medical personnel. Having this service has made a difference in my life. Thank you! PLUS, this service is free with no cost to me!

There is simply no better app out there
I use this application heavily in my day to day work to make and receive phone calls. It is a game changer by effortlessly enabling a way for a deaf person to have a normal conversation with someone over the phone. Captioning is fast and accurate. My favorite feature is that I can use bluetooth to my hearing aid during the call to hear the person on the phone while reading the captioning. The unstated, but powerful, benefit of that is once again learning how words sound, which helps to improve hearing accuracy over time. Well done Innocaption! Dont change a thing.

The tops
A great app made my “fear of calling” on my iPhone vanish. The sound is clear, and the transcription is almost imperceptible delay-wise. OGC is the mobile number. ICC is a unique number given to the user. The app is perfectly paired with the iPhone. You can use your contact list to place a call. Here is the best part. If you need help, a message heading is prepared. You create the contact, and within a few minutes, a chat starts, and you are connected with a human person, not with a ‘bot. Your help stays with you until the problem is solved. Once you start using this app you can't live without it. A true blessing.

Most reliable app with excellent feature set
Most reliable captioning app I've yet found. Automated speech recognition is very accurate. App is easy and straightforward to use. Voicemail and the ability to use your normal phone number form incoming and outgoing are major quality of life features. Support personnel were helpful and can connect via text messaging which is ideal for d/Deaf folks. My major wish list item would be improved ability to replace the native Phone app when, e.g., connecting to car audio via bluetooth, but this may require work from Apple or third parties to make a reality.

Excellent captions.
Without this caption app on my cell phone I would not be able to do my job calling voters for upcoming election using my cell phone when not home. As I listen and read I realize that not only do I have profound hearing loss I also have slow processing speed. I had been realizing I interrupt people because I don’t know they are responding. Now I wait to read the caption. I have Caption Call company on a landline type phone but it is much slower and that gets in the way. Also it does not write what I say which is important. 10 stars for this amazing App!!

The new updated app is just okay
Some issues that always seem to happen during emergency calls. Keypad doesn’t always work and weird words pop up when on hold. Kind of frustrating and caption doesn’t always type the right thing leaving me confused. I would rather just call or receive calls from my cell phone and have a pop up screen to view in InnoCaption rather than having all my calls forwarded. It was doing that for a while then it stopped. The calls were much clearer because the person on the other end could never understand me when I speak. Having to use WiFi is a big distraction and there is nothing wrong with my WiFi and carrier says signal is good.

DO NOT USE THIS APP!!’
This app has impressed me from the beginning and still is! I am hard of hearing, and I have auditory processing disorder. This app is free for me to be able to understand what people are talking to me about. I would recommend it to anyone with a hearing disability. The above review was after having the app for only two days. You have to allow the app a lot of permissions in the system settings which I did. However, I would be on a phone call and it would drop the call and the person would try to call me back and they couldn’t get a hold of me and my phone wasn’t ringing and it was all due to the caption app being installed on my phone and also it doesn’t even give clear captions what the person is actually saying is really not what they transcribed. Do not get this app.

What a GREAT and AMAZING appt the captioning is on my iPhone. It is the answer to those hard of hearing/deaf people that allows them and us to use the iPhone!! I am now able to make phone calls to talk to make appts to answer my iPhone knowing it will be captioned!! It has really opened up my world that was once so limited! Do not let hard of hearing or being deaf stop you from communicating!!! This is the app to get! You can use your own cell number and let the other person know it’s you calling! Don’t delay any longer! Embrace a whole new world of communication with this app!!!

Freedom at last
InnoCaption has given me much of my freedom I had pre-hearing loss. Prior to this I relied on a cc landline which tied me to a desk. Especially painful when the vendor I’m trying to deal with only offers a callback or 2 hour wait. InnoCaption allows me the freedom to go about my day and multitask. Thank you for this wonderful app. One comment is that some auto response system like Apple Support callback don’t allow the system enough time to respond and sends the call to voicemail. I’ve tried raising this issue with Apple. Perhaps you could also contact Apple as it’s a ADA issue.

What a blessing!
I can’t believe I can finally use the phone again. I was always so stressed out to have to use the phone because I only heard some of the caller’s words and I know many people were impatient and frustrated with me. Now I can have a conversation again. Once in awhile a word will not be correct but usually I can figure out through context what was said. It’s unbelievable what a difference InnoCaption makes. It’s a much better app than some of the others I researched. I’m 70 yo and very lacking in tech skills but I have no problems with it. Please give it a try!

InnoCaption‘s have literally changed my life. I am seriously hearing impaired and in no way could talk on an iPhone. My phone plan had no telephone calls, just data. When I learned of InnoCaption Support it out I jumped through the roof, immediately got it installed and use it now with my new plan with minutes for the phone. I never used to give out my phone number, my cell phone number that is, for fear of getting a call and now I can’t wait for calls or make them. Thank yous 1 million thank yous . Best telephone captioning bar none!!
InnoCaption+ is just an outstanding app! Almost instantaneous transcription, highly accurate and reliable! This app allows me to use the phone like a normal hearing person, especially now that InnoCaption+ allows for call forwarding from my cell phone number to the InnoCaption app. Now they have ASR which means there is never a wait for a free Captionist- usually you call is transferred to a live captionist within a minute or less. This app has been a Godsend to me during this pandemic where I am much more reliant on phone calls. You can even use it to caption video conferences - you just need a call in number.

Review of InnoCaptions!
Since the Pandemic began earlier this year, I have been using InnoCaptions to provide captions for all of my phone calls. I am so happy I can access InnoCaptions! They provide excellent service to me all the time. I put earbuds in my ears while the captions are provided to me and this way I can hear when the speaker is speaking and when I can talk. I need the captions because I cannot follow the conversations without this help. InnoCaptions is amazing!!! Each captioner does an excellent job! I highly commend them! What a lifesaver!!!
For seniors that are hard of hearing AND forgetful, this was the best app I ever used! I truly appreciate all of my calls being transcribed real time to keep up with conversations, but this way, I can also have a record of who I spoke to and what they told me. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve used this feature in the short time I’ve had the app. Being on a fixed income with no wiggle room, not having to pay for using this is priceless! Huge thanks for the developers that put this out for those in need! You will be rewarded tenfold!

Gosh!
I can't believe that no one has posted about this software for a year! It is clearly the best piece of software I have used. It addresses a problem that has plagued me for years, so much so, that I became reticent to call or to take calls. Clearly, in the time I’ve had it, I have only used the most obvious attributes. There is so much more that I’m sure it will have a positive impact on my day to day life. It’s already already done wonders. My sincere thanks to its developers and financial supporters for confidence that has already returned to my life. Thank you!

It’s just okay
The captioning is good and more accurate than any other captioning app, but for some reason, everyone says that my voice keeps going in and out, there is clicking heard whenever I talk, and they can’t hear me well. I did a test-call with my daughter and she said that I sound choppy, like she hears every other word that I am saying. I have really strong fast WiFi so it can’t be my connection. I have also tried it on my cellular device instead of using WiFi, and it’s actually even worse. Im not sure how to fix it so that the people on the other end can hear me better, but I rely heavily on this app and hope that it starts working better. 🙁

Invaluable for deaf/hard of hearing users!
As a hard of hearing person, I simply do not know what I would do without this InnoCaption App because I cannot hear on my cell phone! It’s been especially useful during the pandemic when I’ve had to call places to let them know I was waiting outside! It’s pretty much 100% accurate and simply amazing! I use it on speaker-phone mode while reading the captions. There’s also an option to have the call go to another phone while you read captions on your cell. I sometimes do this with my landline. Highly recommend!

Life Saver
This app literally and figuratively saves my life. I actively participate in committees with a variety of organizations. Even with ZOOM and Google meet I find myself using this app. It’s convenient, easy to use and the customer support is OUTSTANDING!!! I am so thankful for all who make this possible for those of us who are Hard of Hearing! Believe it or not, we do not all subscribe to hearing aids so this app is a big assist! The features of this app includes call forwarding, mute, voicemail, and a contacts list directory. I absolutely love it. And it’s all FREE! This is a bonus since so much of caring four health, including our ears is always a costly endeavor! I love INNOCAPTION and think you will too!

I tried almost all the available caption call apps , before InnoCaption came along I was using another caption app they were ok at best many typos and missed conversations. Along came InnoCaption yes at the beginning they too had problems ( rookie errors) I wanna say this InnoCaption”s customer care team worked tirelessly with me till the problems were resolved! None and I mean NONE. Of the others worked together with me to resolve the issue(s) you either do it right or don’t do it at all! Took a few tries but it’s DONE and now I wouldn’t recommend any other company! The customer care team led by Izzy and Susie and others ( sorry I am too old to remember the whole team’s names… Wonderful wonderful people this is what us HOH and deaf need,people who understand what it’s like not to hear!
