I was able to install the app and connect to my Inseego FX 2000 cellular wireless router and configure it just fine. I even turned off the Wi-Fi as I used a different device for that and was still able to connect and monitor and configure it via Bluetooth. Everything was working great. The next day I go to the app and it says I have no devices registered. I rebooted the device, reset it to factory settings, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and tried at least 25 times to add the device again. I’m no longer able to do so. I can add it temporarily and see the settings, but I am not able to make any setting changes because the app will not let me register it. I have the same issue online. Basically, I cannot manage my Inseego device. This device was provided to me by T-Mobile.
If I could I would give it zero stars because other than having to sign in with the device password every time the you try to use it all you can actually use the app for is checking battery status and turning the device off or restart it What would make it into a actual worthwhile app would be to have a feature that remembers the login information on your phone; viewing all devices connected to it with the ability to add, delete or block devices ; the ability to delete/block the spam messages sent to the device number ; the ability to monitor signal strength Update I followed the instructions to connect the app with my new Inseego 3100 pro I’m connected to the wifi through the Inseego yet the app keeps saying that I am not connected At least I could restart and shut it down with the app on the previous version this update can’t even connect to the device for Pete’s sake!
Enough to drive you crazy. Tried several times like other reviewers and it just does not connect. The device shows in the app but waiting for it to “cloud” connect is a waste of time.
Tried to config the Inseego fx3100 from T-Mobile via the app, after everything is done, i switched the app off. Everything is gone and I cannot control the router from this App after I came back for it. It just says I have to add the device once again, guess what? It disappeared again after I successfully added my device and went to my profile page not even quitting the App this time. Totally waste of time. Even an amateur developer could make a better app than this one.
Great job Digital Experience team. Keep up the great work. When setting up a device, from the model list, I was not able to select a model and move forward in the workflow. Kindly look to make all elements interactive on each page.
I’ve had the F-x2000 or whatever it is for months an I’ve never been able to use the app. Upon setup it says it’ll take up to an hour to connect to cloud and has yet to do that. I’ve had nothing but issues out of my internet and it’s so aggravating that I can’t access the app to monitor the devices that are connected and not in use. Terrible app and internet service through us cellular. Would not recommend at this point in time.
Seems to not work at all. You go through the setup stage and then the last stage connect the app to your device. Says “looks like your not connected to the wifi” eventho I am connected to the hotspot and have internet access. App doesn’t want to sync up or connect from the apps side. Pointless if it can even add the device your connected to
Installed the app and got all setup and it never got passed the please wait till your device is connected to our cloud. It might take up to an hour. Left app on that spot over 24 hours. Will not buy another Inseego G5 router. Software don’t work hardware and app stops, reinstalled app but ended up with same thing. Will be looking into another type of router for my needs.
3 hours of my time stuck in an infinite loop of trying to configure this thing, waiting for cloud, trying to register, “something went wrong”, uninstall, reinstall…. I just called T-Mobile Business and demanded a different device, they’re shipping me something else. This might be a great piece of hardware. We’ll never know, because the software team needs to be fired.
You have to enable the connection from the devices setup page. Then connect with the imei. Then wait about 5 minutes for it to update. Honestly the app is basic and useless for mobile hotspots.
Software gives a very different reading than the device on signal strength, and whether it’s receiving four LTE or 5G. That should not be. It should be the same. Limited feature set.
I have tried to install, uninstall and even set my m3000 to defaults multiple times without success. Every attempt ends at the connect to WiFi screen with a “you’re not connected to WiFi message” Obviously an issue with the iOS version. Without a bug fix the app is useless. Deleted from my phone.
I can’t even add it back on there by putting in the information again. I came on here to check other reviews to see if this happened to anybody else. Looks like it happened to everybody else. Guess I won’t be able to control this remotely.
App is useless. I've had two fx3100 in the past two days. The first one was defective and this one will not connect to the cloud and is constantly dropping connection..., even though my phone works fine. Going back to Spectrum unfortunately.
Using this app to setup a fw2000e router will lead you to much head banging against wall. Too many issues to describe here, but setting up their equipment is a nightmare and NOT intuitive.
App is terrible does not work , will not connect with my phone, shows I’m connected to this Inseego router on my cell in select Wi-Fi, but the app continues to tell me I’m not connected! Ian Using the router for home wifi with multiple devices connected, it’s just this app keeps telling me I’m not connected when I kno I am! Terrible app!
Been at it for 2 hours, still no connection. No support. The need to connect to some cloud, just pisses me off. I paid for the device and paid for the cell service. Inseego, stay out of my business! and if you not going to do that, at least provide some support.
Can’t get the app to connect the hotspot device to the cloud. I have literally left the device on for days at a time for it to connect and nothing happened. I have been trying for a week now I really wish I could give this a lower rating.
I hate this thing. I hate this app. I hate their tech support that never answers or calls back. I hate that I work from home and my VPN is constantly "reconnecting" and dropping my meetings. I have been trying to get this fixed since May. Absolute trash.
So a year later i wanted to remote reset the M2000 which had crashed and was not responding to the web interface, this "app" had dumped the device and wanted a "SKU" and iIMEI to pair up again. So what is the SKU anyway? Nobody knows.
I purchased an M2000 mobile Hotspot. The supporting literature says to download this app to set it up. This app does not support it and the Inseego website has zero information beyond the printed literature. I called tech support and waited on hold ten minutes and gave up.
Trying to set up..and continues to say..device not connected to wifi Even though i have my wifi up and running Disconnects very often even though the signal is strong blue.. no way to see anything as the app does not work The admin web ui does not work Got from t mobile and so stuck with this poor product
