I’ve been with Joinbrands around when they first started and I have had nothing but a great experience with them. Love that you can work with a variety of brands and make money creating content for them. I am however a little disappointed in their recent changes like brands choosing you for a job instead of just instantly applying for a job and getting it. Even though I have great ratings and lots of content, I still have trouble now getting jobs on the app. Brands aren’t approving applications, at least for me they’re not. So that’s really my only complaint, hard getting approved for a job. But overall it’s a great app especially for beginning creators to get work to build your portfolio and make some money at the same time.
As someone who has yet to create video content for the platform I have to say it’s a pretty good app to get paid to take pictures. My only gripe with it is that there have been a few times where I’ll see a job is being offered to me and just as quick as it’s offered it’s being taken away I can accept it. So other than the few recent glitches it’s a pretty good app.
Overall, I love the app sometimes it freezes, but closing it out and reopen it fixes it. do wish brands had to approve content sooner because some of the brands of work with have taken the full amount of time before proving it and then I have to wait another seven days before I can even get reimbursed. I also wish that there was a way to chat with the brand without waiting for them to accept me first because some of the brands have the amount you would be getting back for purchasing the product yet either the product link doesn’t work or the product itself is way more than what they offering
All of a sudden the jobs just stopped coming. Not reliable. I’ve only been making my profile better and better with consistent updates to it. I even emailed asking if I did something wrong, and the response was - “Hope you are doing great! Regarding your concern , Wee review your account and everything is in order. Don't be discouraged by pending applications! Keep in mind that there are more content creators registered on the platform, also waiting for an opportunity.” As if I can’t comprehend that other people exist. Did help me at all, and then they immediately want me to rate the convo. Stupid. Its suspicious that I haven’t gotten a single offer in more than a week and a half. When they were coming every day. Maybe JoinBrands business isn’t doing well?
I’ve been using Joinbrands since it started and I had a great experience in the beginning and did a lot of jobs, after a while it became really hard to get any jobs, I have only 5 star reviews on my completed jobs and still can’t seem to get a new one. After you apply you can’t see the status of the jobs and that’s something I sent as feedback before to them in the beginning and it never got better even though they said they’d work on it. Now the $5 jobs are a joke, it’s honestly ridiculous that that’s allowed and they’re making it really hard to feel valued as a creator. I keep getting invited for $5jobs to be posted on Tiktok and these are the only jobs that pop up these days. Really sad to see this platform go down like this
I love that you can utilize Join Brands from an app on your phone as well as from the computer. The app makes it so much easier. I downloaded this app to earn some extra money as well as gain experience in the UGC world. This has been the best of both worlds! This platform makes it easy to work with brands and gain experience while making money on the side. Also, their customer service is top notch! They are always quick to respond and eager answer any questions I‘ve had and provide info to better help me understand any situation I’m unfamiliar with. Loving this app!
I was looking for a small job to earn some extra money that did not require me leaving the house for a long period of time, but something I thought I would enjoy. I’m so glad I found JoinBrands! I really enjoy trying out the new products, taking pictures, and leaving reviews for future customers. One of the best things about this job is I get paid for having fun and a I get a free product. I still get excited when I have applied for a job and I get accepted. I’m immediately start thinking about what kind of picture I can create.
I’m a stay at home mom and I have been really struggling to feel like I’m contributing to the household income. This has been such a lifeline for me! I miss working but have no desire to put my child in daycare. This has been such a nice way for me to make some extra money and not take time away from my child. So far, I’m only certified for pictures but it has been nothing but positive! It’s easy to get your payouts and the products that you purchase and get reimbursed for have been really good quality so far!
I started this app to see if I could build my portfolio quickly. I have been on here consistently applying, and only got approved for ONE gig. It’s a race to get a deal on here, and weird considering you pay for the product out of pocket. I also don’t like that companies are on a UGC app looking for influencers. Influencers post on their own accounts and market to their following - UGC creators produce high quality content with mass appeal. And I see there’s people looking for influencers for $100 to keep posts up for 7 days. That’s insane. There needs to be better vetting of companies using the platform in my opinion.
I love the app and have made good money but if you don’t accept the job before someone else you don’t get it and that is sometimes within like one minute. I wish once the brand accepts you then you’ll have a time limit to accept but you have the job at least. Also I don’t like that they take a fee out of the total. Take the fee behind the scenes. Also it says once you get to higher levels you are paid more but that is not true. I am level 3 and still see 15$ selfies all day same with videos. Thank you for the app otherwise
I am new to JoinBrands but so far have really enjoyed my experience and the customer service has been great! I haven’t been accepted to as many jobs as I would like but I am hoping that improves as I move up levels. I wish that you were automatically accepted to the jobs if you have achieved the certification, instead of waiting for the company to accept you. That is my only “complaint” so far.
I started with Join Brands about a month ago and am having a great time using this app. It is very user-friendly and is the perfect way to connect with brands as a UGC creator. Be advised that you do have to apply to a lot of jobs because you don’t automatically get selected for each job and the brands have to approve your application. That being said, there are tons of jobs/products to apply for so there is a lot of possibility for success!

Really awesome platform. Everything is very user friendly. Potential to make very good money. Gotten to try some really feat products! The only thing I wish was different is you pay to get reimbursed. I’ve never had an issue. Sometimes though you get 50-60$ in products and you don’t get paid back until the project is over. Other then that it is a great all.
To me, Joinbrands was no different than picking some random person off the internet, sending them our product, and asking them to do a review. I had two creators—one sent me an inappropriate video, the other never even responded (even after support got involved). No refund on the high costs I incurred between the higher tier subscription, the videos, and sending them our products. I’m so disappointed that nothing can be done to ensure that we brands receive any quality from this platform. It feels like the creators have full control with no accountability.
I am actually obsessed with this app. I check it every day too many times to make sure I don’t miss anything even though I get emails and pop up alerts. It’s the only key I’ve found to ugc quickly and easily even if you don’t have a ton of followers or you have never made a single piece of content.

I just started using this app. I like the quality of jobs and how quick the approval process is. I’m disappointed that once a brand picks you you have to beat other creators to it to accept. I received an email saying I was pre approved and accepted right away but apparently I wasn’t fast enough. That was very frustrating especially since I responded to the email right away. If they get rid of this aspect it’s a great app

I have been a creator on this app for over a year and I love it. Everything is organized very well and you don’t have to worry about scams or not getting paid from brands. All the projects have instructions on how the brand wants their video or pictures.
They give you steps on how to create and complete your profile and portfolio, along with providing examples and details. Also, when you submit your content they leave you feedback! Honestly, they’re a game changer!

I have been creating content for payment for about 7 years, and unfortunately I feel like the requirements to apply for jobs on this app are too strict. I’ve had several videos kicked back to me, even videos that I’ve made for pretty big brands. So I still haven’t been able to apply for jobs two months after downloading the app. I’m on several other, higher paying platforms and I’ve never had this much trouble getting approved to apply for jobs.
They make the connection and jobs so simple. Each job I’ve done has been clear. They are prompt in payment, making it very easy to work with and allowing new and upcoming influencers to have a shot shot at this.
So I just started using the app as a creator and I love how easy it is to get started and earn money fast and easy I would also say that it’s a great way to get some engagement on your products that your selling I would recommend it!

I got on the app when it was just starting and it was great. However, Now it’s very hard to get jobs, the pay is awful and they just lowered me from level 2 to 1, not sure why. I’ve been working with them for a year and it took me so long to get level 2. It’s still a good app and you can trust you’re gonna get paid.

I’ve been on the platform for about two months and didn’t get much from it. I’ve applied for several jobs and never heard anything back. There’s no place to check on the status of the jobs either. Once you apply it just disappears. Only helpful tool was the video and photo tips. Outside of that I do not recommend. The app/platform needs improvement.

I’ve been on the platform since Nov ‘23. I have all 5-star reviews from brands I’ve worked with. Currently working with a brand that rejected my content based on criteria unrelated to the original job description and details/outline they posted for the content. I’ve written to support a few times since last Friday and as early as this morning. As of the writing of this review, no one from support has responded to me.

The fact that you get paid $5 for a TikTok video should be illegal. I don’t know how this is even an option for brands to choose. Also, the price from making a video was changed after I submitted the content. $5 is not worth me paying for the product initially, filming, and editing content. There are better apps that pay you SO much more.
Confused on getting certificates for products and reviewing
I’m new to the platform and I was really excited about getting jobs. The thing is they said I need to get certified for the product. Understandable; however the problem is they said I had to have product first to be qualified to the review. I’m so confused how am I supposed to be certified for a product I don’t currently have to do the review. Please help; I don’t understand. Please and thank you
