Question: if I change devices, I understand that I will need to re-enroll Push. Will I need to also re-enroll any TOTP I store in the app? Or are those backed up by iCloud or in JumpCloud? Thanks.
Add ability to approve or deny login attempts from push notifications
Please add in the ability to hard press on a push notification for a login attempt to be able to approve or decline the login attempt without needing to tap on the notification and have it open the app to approve or decline the login attempt. Please also add the ability to approve or decline a login attempt from Apple Watch from the push notification.
My company changed from duo to jumpcloud protect. It works. But I do miss accepting connections on my watch. With JCP you need your phone to accept the mobile push login tokens. Please add Apple Watch functionality.
I continually get “there was an error while sending the request. Please try again” if I accept/confirm a push authentication too quickly. The system shouldn’t be slower than a human ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Sign into your work resources simply and securely with the JumpCloud Protect® mobile application, proud winner of the Globee Cybersecurity Award. JumpCloud Protect enables multi-factor authentication (MFA) which ensures user verification. MFA provides an extra layer of security beyond traditional username and password authentication through either a push notification or a verification code through TOTP (time-based one-time password). Both methods are easier to use and provide more security than user-created passcodes or authentication codes sent via SMS. In addition, TOTP does not require your mobile device to be connected to Wi-Fi or a cellular network.
