For the price, these are above and beyond what I thought they should be.. I think the ONLY thing that is even semi bad is the sound quality but even that’s pretty good for the price.. the view is pretty great and the fact you get 2 cameras and you can move them up and down and in a 360 circle using your phone is PERFECT! I love how you can set it to notify movement and sounds it detects and it’s even cooler that you can set the movement detector to humans only so that if your dog walks by it does not wake you up or disturb you! This is great! I recommend 500% that is - review for the 2 LaView WiFi cameras for like $40 for the pair! As far as the app it’s just as amazing you can control EVERYTHING from your phone and you can have multiple people on the account, you and your spouse can spy on the kid’s anytime 😛 I love the product and the app and recommend both to EVERYONE! It is perfect for home,office,business and all! I keep coming back to add more but the NIGHT VIEW is soooo clear too I was impressed at how good you could see each room in the dark!

This app is great for just being 6 months old. The layout is intuitive and easy to use. I’m using a pair of the (LV-PWR3) R3 PT Pan-Tilt WiFi cameras. The live view comes up fast and I haven’t had any connection issues yet. You can schedule times that local recording and motion alerts are active. You can scrub through the local recording with ease. My only gripe is that the alerts page only shows you a screenshot and time. Then when you click on it, it doesn’t take you to playback that section of the local recording. It just takes you to the live view. To view what triggered the alert you have to look at the time stamp on the alert. Then you have to go to playback and scrub through 24 hrs of footage to find that time stamp. It’s inconvenient and I’d like to be able to click on the alert and it automatically take me to the corresponding local footage. You could even have a yellow marker in the playback scrub bar to mark where an alert occurred. The app is perfect other than that.

I’ve had this security system for about four years . And after the first few months it’s been downhill from A-Z it’s like 1 thing after another . So I just want to thank the whole laview crew for the support ,effort , customer service and developers. For all the hard work and dedication to make your equipment and service number 1 . In making your product the worst of the Worst !!!! And yes Everyone that has an account with you we all should file a class action lawsuit against you but im sure you will hang yourselves you’re so disgusting and cheap you couldn’t give me your product or service but you have earned my trust to never ever spend my money or even give me a lifetime of free access to anything that has to do with your company just remember your company is 1 over the best companies I would never trust or give you my business so last but not least you get ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for worst A-Z in everything 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I believe laview is one of the best products available on the market in the aspect of price/service. You get what you pay for so don't cheap out and buy another brand (opinion)... 1) you dont need a subscription to view footage, save, and watch live. 2) they are extremely easy to set up and use. 3) the more one has, the better… my only gripe is that anyone with common sense knows that security cameras only work when they are connected to wifi. So with that being said a solution to this would be automatic text notifications to users as well as the option to turn on or off in the settings the ability for the cameras to start recording during the entire duration of the wifi being turned off so that when the wifi comes back on there is still footage if anything were to happen while the wifi was off.

I wasn’t sure how these would work out but I absolutely love these! I have 4 f2 cameras around the house! I love how when I’m not home I can just open the app and look and see how my dogs are doing! The camera allows me to speak through them to which is another feature I enjoy! It allows me to talk to my pups whenever I’m at work or whenever I’m just out an about! I’m so glad we found these because now that I have them I don’t know what I would do without them ! I have already recommended these to multiple friends and family because they are so amazing!! The app is so amazing it allows me and my spouse to be able to communicate back and forth as well as to our child whenever she’s downstairs and we’re upstairs! Thank you for making These! Super cheap and very reliable !!

My main issue are the ads that pop up as soon as you launch the app.I have one of these light bulb cameras screwed in the porch light to over see the front yard and every other night I’ll hear a loud noise outside. EVERY SINGLE TIME I launch the app, guess what, a 1-3 second promotional, upgrade, storage ad. 1-3 seconds isn’t long for an ad. BUT for a security camera that is meant for watching live footage on demand is meant for a quick launch to see what is happening outside or inside. For example, the other night around 12 AM. I hear a loud noise, I launch the app, I have to wait the few seconds to X the ad to see the live view. I see a guy looking into a car. But by the time it actually let me look at the live footage, 2 seconds later he ran off Those three seconds are important live captures. I only use this camera because I got it for free from my mom and haven’t had the time to install my Lorex cameras. As soon as I get the time to wire up the cat6’s around the attic, I’m tossing the LaView in the trash.

considering the price of these cameras, for 2, they images, recording and app that accompanies it is SO EASY to use and adjust! My hubby who is completely NON tech savvy, he does NOT even know now to text or even use maps on his phone, found it extremely easy to open the camera app and zoom in and out and I was totally shocked to find that he was able to record the session he was watching!!! Basically if MY husband, who does NOT know how to even use his smart phone, sadly the phone is smarter than he is, if HE can figure it out, ANYONE CAN!! The quality is very good for the price point as well. Definitely going to get more for office and seasonal rental!!

I liked the first set of cameras as baby monitors enough that I bought a second set to replace done other models I had purchased. The app does require frequent restarts if cameras don’t load initially, but on the whole worked well. I have it hooked up to Alexa and have been able to see the cameras on my echo show. Unfortunately, this morning, the app started crashing. Every time I open the app, it immediately closes again. Even restarting the app, restarting the phone, uninstalling and reinstalling the app have not resolved the issue. Oddly, I can still see the cameras on the echo show, but cannot bring up the app on my phone. I contacted customer support, this morning, but have not yet seen a response. I find this to be a very frustrating problem and may have to look into alternatives if it cannot be resolved quickly. Update: resetting the WiFi router finally fixed it.

My cameras (I bought a 2 pack) were very easy to set up and the picture they provide is nice and clear. The sensitivity is good as far as using it for security. I found three things that could use improvement. When the motion sensor activates it gives you a still shot. It would be better to have 10 seconds of video. The cord is short so I bought an extension. The range of direction in which you can tilt the camera is not very broad. I would recommend you purchase them for inside your home and hope they change the firmware or tell me how to get a few seconds of video with an alert. You can always go to replay and find the time on the alert and view what occurred but that’s tedious and time consuming. Great cameras for the price!

You will not regret buy these cameras. If you live alone or with a family. In these times with the digital age you need the help of having another eye around your home. Either have one pointed at your front entrance or even just around the house to make sure everyone and everything is safe and secure. We can leave and know that things will be ok. I know my son is ok and even when he’s in his room doing his homework and I can just let him know dinner is ready. He loves the fact that he’s safe when I’m just down the hall or down the street. The cost is definitely worth it. I’ve had these for about 6 months and everyone got these for Christmas this year. Love these.

I’ve had a couple of cameras for way more then a year. Been very happy for the most part. Blink has higher quality but less functionality in the app. In the last couple of days I was forced to sign back in and change password (normally stayed signed in on two different phones) now I can’t stay signed in and only use one device at a time. I had to set up the pattern unlock which it fine expect it I try to open in my other phone I have to sign back in with password and email(doesn’t talk to my iPhone passwords very well so it’s a big pain.) then if I go back to the other phone I have to start all over again. Not cool, takes too long to open and view when I’m trying to catch actions while they are happening.

I can’t believe how Simple setup was ! I tend to be Challenged when it comes to Techy Stuff , but Even I at 74 figured Out These Simple Cameras ! I have Several . WE Like them So much , we got both our Sons some and Our Neighbors got a few as well . I am pleased to say EVERYONE LOVES them and was Impressed at the simplicity of Setup and Operation as well as the Picture Quality! NO COMPLAINTS or Issues To DATE to Report . Everyone Loves their Cams ! I HIGHLY Recommend them ! I tried cameras that were 10 times the price of these AND Had to return them due to Incompatibility with my internet provider ! LaView Cameras and System ARE TOP SHELF, in my Book !

This is my 1st LaView product. I purchased the light bulb camera. I have been really impressed with the ease of setup, the quality of images and the functionality of the product at a low cost price. It fulfills what I needed it to do without running wires or cables. Just screw into a light socket, open the app and control. The 360 degree directional positioning is a plus to scan my whole backyard when we are not home. I also bought their waterproof wireless camera to have a stationary view of my garage entrance. The 90 Day rechargeable battery is a big +.

I bought the Laview camera for the outdoors even though they state they are indoor cameras. I have been able to protect them enough to have the SD card still work and not damage the cameras. So the indoor security cameras are not rated as waterproof however all I had to do was use some electrical tape to cover where the wire connects and where the SD card goes. I am afraid of the newest update as it may change things just like other companies we are now you have to pay for support for cloud services. My SD card and my cameras have survived outside in the pouring rain. However again I am not updating to the update that was given at the end of August beginning of September

I really love these cameras, but since the iOS16 update and the update that allows pop-up splash screens on the app, I have had issues. The ads that load freeze my app up, and they do not allow me to skip them properly. Additionally they keep me from viewing my motion detection alarms in a timely manner. I usually have to exit the app, and in the background, and eventually I can get in to see the motion detection. With iOS 16s update, the app no longer goes to full screen when you tap the button on the top left, it simply allows you to pinch and widen, but never gores full screen nor will it rotate to the left to allow full screen viewing. This really makes me sad.

If you need a good reasonable camera these work really well! I purchased 4 for an 1800 sq ft home and they have been great! When I did have a problem customer service did well. The only unfortunate thing was that when I was out of town one of the cameras went offline and I couldn’t physically be there to reset it. However it eventually reset itself, could have been my internet connection. You do have to use 2g not 5g but for performance. Speaker is a bit distorted but everything else works well.

These cameras would be perfect for their price if the app was more user friendly. The app crashes more times than not and it takes FOREVER to look through the footage since there is no way to forward/rewind quickly, you to play the footage in real time or skip from minutes to minutes. Unless you know the specific time something happens you’re going to have to look through the alerts and try to judge what scenarios you’re looking for by sound or motion. That alone is why it gets 1 star, it’s frustrating going through hours of footage just to get to what you need to see…and then app crashes, and will crash 5+ more times before it works semi decently. I hate this app so entirely much but the cameras are awesome for the prices.

Purchased the F1 cameras for indoor security monitoring about two weeks ago. I’ve had no issue with the app or cameras the first week of usage. However, now when I try to open the app it glitches and shuts down immediately. I have tried restarting my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and contacting customer support. The first two did not work and the latter of the three seems to be unreachable. As of now this app is garbage leaving me no way to monitor my cameras as PC monitoring it’s not compatible at this time.

I am so pleased with this camera. I’m glad I didn’t listen to my son to get a different type of a security system. This camera was easy to install. It’s clarity picks up everything that you would need within its parameters and easy for reviewing with the app. I would definitely recommend this for anybody that wants to have a bit of security and a good safe feeling knowing your house is under surveillance regardless of where you decide to put this sweet little camera. I am so glad I have it.

The resolution and user-friendly setup are excellent. I do, however, find the app itself to lag or even at times be completely unresponsive once open, notifications are sometimes around 10 minutes or more late, etc. To be clear, this is whether I am at home on my wi-fi with the cameras or out and about and I have had no issues with any other app or use of my phone. It works well enough to send me an alert (maybe on time maybe not) but not well enough for me to see what the alert was for within a reasonable amount of time…? Frustrating to say the least.

Especially with my new 13 because I have given this app 2 reviews already. I have changed it from a three star to a five star and when I edit my review, I cannot see either one of them but I wanted to update again saying that their customer service is beyond expectations, they do intend on improving their product from people like me in the field that actually use it every day and that impresses me more than anything I could ever tell you!!

The app sometimes gives me fits like not wanting to do playback. I have the cameras set to only record when there is motion, and it will sometimes capture moving shadows but not me or my cats. Other times it captures us or it would be completely useless. I had to swap its location with another camera because it would constantly switch between night vision and having enough light without the lighting changing. Whenever it would do this, it would click, which was driving me insane. Would never buy this camera again. Ezviz has its own issues but it's better than this one.

The quality that this app has with it's cameras is amazing, easy to use app. the cameras super easy to set up. Hassle free and everything is explained. Mounting and setting up couldn't be easier. I love the magnetic touch it has to it! Nothing out of this world, but it has me super impressed and the daylight option has me amazed works like a charm. So far running super smooth and I love it ! . The price is also something amazing !

First off this camera and software has latency which allows the technology to be defeated. Secondly, I was extremely disappointed when I was notified after 30 days that there would be advertisements on the software app. This is totally not cool for a security system to have that you pay decent money for. Also, the screen captures are very grainy and hard to make out details on images captured. I have 3 stars only because it works but with issues. Insects also set this system off constantly and it becomes an extreme annoyance!

I just installed the app so I don’t have an opinion yet on most of the features, but the QR scanning method of pairing a camera absolutely does not work. I tried it with two different cameras. But the app also provides a so-called EZMode for pairing. That worked eventually but the app says to put the camera in a mode where the indicator light is flashing quickly, but depending on how and when the reset button is pressed, the indicator light may flash red or blue. The instructions in the app don’t indicate which is correct (blue was the right one).

My siblings and I wanted to stay in visable contact with our parents, without making them feel invaded. One of the siblings mentioned the cameras from LaView have had good reviews. We installed them in plain view about 8 months ago and have been a peace of mind for all of us even my parents. Easy to use & install, they are great!!! Highly recommend them for any reasons… Aging parents

Not sure why they decided to incorporate ads before you can view an alarm… time is of the essence. Not something you would see from simplisafe or any other reputable brand. For a growing brand it seems like a poor move. There’s plenty of advertising in the app itself there’s a whole tab to view the products is that not enough ?? For a quality camera system which this is and while also being reliable not having many connection issues at all. This isn’t appealing for an otherwise great system.

I use this in the backyard to keep an eye on my two Cairn Terrier dogs. I also can watch the back yard from the comfort of my home. This camera allows me too talk to my dogs and call them in. Overall the purchase was well worth it. Great picture quality and by the way, I got two cameras for very little money. Check them out and you will like them !

I purchased four of the F1 WiFi Cameras about 6 months ago. They worked fine for about 3 months. Now they don’t connect to the LaView servers at all. Nothing changed on my home network. Same router, same SSID, same key!!! I’m an IT professional and went through every troubleshooting step you can imagine!!! Nothing worked! Poor product and poor service. Their website doesn’t have any technical or support information on how to troubleshoot the problem. I just decided to disconnect all four cameras and toss them in the garbage! I wasted enough time troubleshooting this garbage. It’s time to move on to a better product.

If I could give zero stars, I would. And this is coming from someone that has used these cameras for four years now. Started out great, perfect even, but that’s changed with recent updates. Cameras are constantly randomly dying, disconnecting, and have unreliable motion detection. I have 7 LaView devices and have had to replace almost half of them in the last several months. Customer service used to try to actually help you remedy your issues, but now they simply blame everything on you and your wifi and stop responding to your inquiries. Seriously, do not waste your time.

Please make it easier to view the recordings one by one ( not as a playback where you go through all at the same time) . Also make easy for the videos to record with sound automatically ( the videos I am getting have no sounds just images) and lastly easy to send and share the video to others through text messages (or easy to download and save to the phone). I hope you fix this and thank you

I have been using these cameras for a few months and they work great. I have trouble getting the app to run smoothly. Right now the app won’t even open for me. I was watching the camera in my sons room and suddenly the app closed out, haven’t been able to get back on for about an hour, I’ve tried restarting my phone and re downloading the app and still nothing, luckily my husbands still works. I’m quite agitated that I can’t view the cameras in my own home because of this app not running smoothly.

The cameras are pretty good! Easy to manage, use and the quality is good. The customer service is the best I’ve encountered in a very long time!! Joe was my rep he was phenomenal and didn’t stop trying to help until I was satisfied. Even if the cameras weren’t good (which they are good) the customer service alone makes them great!! I recommend them for sure!!

I am so thankful for this ability to look in on my mother in Texas and my mother in Florida to see if they fall in or seem to be fine so I can rest easy knowing that they are safe! you can even listen in and hear what noise is around them or even speak to them, which I don’t suggest. I suggest this to anyone who has loved ones that they want to keep an eye on❤️

Can be extremely slow to open live video. No Apple Watch support. With that said the app, cameras and over all functionality of the system is amazing. Been using them for years. I’m 1 of their first customers and with Gods help, assurance and this app/ security system I feel safe.

My wife and I purchased the LaView video cameras for our infant when the nanny comes to watch him. The cameras are extremely efficient and provide my wife and I with the security that we need. We have them stationed throughout the home and they provide us with the surveillance that we need to keep our nanny and son safe. Worth the investment! Highly recommended!

So far I’ve had these cameras for a couple months but the quality is AMAZING! No matter how far away I am the real time is perfect. Even right before I leave I check in the house and all movements captured are extremely quick! I will be buying more for my living room and kitchen windows!

As other recent reviews have stated, the removal of IR settings in the last update makes the cameras only 50% functional. BRING IT BACK - it’s one of the reasons we bought the cameras to begin with! Also - make the panels appear the same. I’ve got 4 of the same cameras yet when I open them, 2 cameras show up in one panel layout (with much less options) and the other 2 show up in the newer panel (which is WAY better).

My husband just finished installing two camera’s. It didn’t take long at all. Now I have peace of mind due to the fact that we are getting older and someone recently stole packages from our front porch. We don’t have much but what we do have is now better protected. The video clarity is fantastic.

Different system for me, I changed brands. I like the cameras, they seem a bit more durable, the tech is pretty easy to manage however going to a certain time is annoying, you must scroll through the entire day to get to let’s say 11:30 PM. They are clear with no problems yet

Bought this camera and installed, worked great with excellent playback. The next day the app performed a system update to the device and now the camera does not recognize any of my sd cards and the playback feature doesn't work. Also the settings no longer show the memory option. Customer service is via chat only and does not respond in a timely fashion.. This really stinks.

Does no one else get this happening to them. When the cameras on and recording the red light turns on and on my camera the red light is always on basically all the time without me recording which means that someone else is watching and recording and this has happened to both of the cameras that I bought. Also once I hooked up the first camera and I tried to talk through it I could literally hear sound coming out of the camera from the next room over and the sound was coming from my laptop.

This has been working well. But now the app keeps crashing regardless of where I try to use. I’ve tried all troubleshooting techniques with no luck. I hope what ever it is gets fixed soon. Aside from that it worked very well.

Hardy worth mentioning, but after a few tries to pair the first camera, I got it up and running. The second camera paired without any issue. I L❤️VE these cameras. NO problems. And, I’m glad I read the recent reviews. I will not be updating any time soon. No reason to rock the boat.

These cameras were already kinda trash, but atleast useable but now with this new “update” it’s even worse… whenever I open the app and try to look at the cameras they sit there buffering and say “establishing an encrypted channel….” It shouldn’t take over 5 minutes to START loading. Not to mention, play back function is not user friendly. Quality isn’t the best. I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone. They’re overly frustrating. I’m going now to research a new brand to buy honestly 0/10

How do I stop the loud beeping noise when the bulb loses connection to Wi-Fi or if I have to remove the bulb? When I put the bulb back in, There’s loud beeping and will continue to beep until connected. This is a no deal for me. My power went out 2am and this bulb started beeping for, I’m assuming hours before I noticed. I only found out because when my ring doorbell was back online I happen to hear it! I am mortified! Ring was offline but reconnected when electricity was restored. NO SOUND! Laview, continued to beep until I personally resolved the issue.

I absolutely love these cameras they do a full 360 are super clear have night vision and I feel so protected at all times. No matter where I’m at I can check my cameras I was in another state and was able to feel secure. I will be purchasing more and trying the outdoor ones very soon.

There should be a way to automatically the lights turn on when it’s dark and when sun is out it should turn off I would like to put as five half but it wouldn’t let me do that but other than that everything is working perfectly well

I would have given this app a four star, probably even a five star rating. If it wasn’t for the ads I’m having to wait around for now. That bumps my rating way down. These cameras are for security reasons. As I’m sure most others’ are as well. Last thing I want when I’m trying to get on to view my security camera is an ad!! Come on! They weren’t there before. Why now?? It seriously makes me want to switch to something else. Bad choice to put ads in this app.

What’s the point of having a security camera but no notification alert function? I looked through the whole app everywhere but couldn’t find one. Bought L2 because it’s not expensive and could be powered up by lamp socket. The camera couldn’t really rotate 360° when I tried to position it to the ideal direction I wanted. It’s great if the camera could tilt up and down automatically to track a human face instead of just rotating just sideway.
