I purchased the wired unit and hardwired to my vehicle. The issue I had was the quick connect. The dongle was wired properly to constant power and ground when plugged in worked fine for about a day. Then stop reporting. I removed the dongle eliminating the quick connect and wire the unit directly to power and ground. Problem solved. There must have been an issue with the wires in the connector itself. It’s been working great for about three weeks.
New update is horrible! It set my account in Cuba, changed my phone number, and erased everything. I’m unable to change anything or update my account to the correct information. I am also unable to use my tracking device because when I am on the app it just bounces all around to different locations instead of showing where the actual tracker is located in real-time. I have 5 months left of my subscription and am beyond furious because of the money I spent on this device and subscription. Edit10/8: the new update is still horrible! Just go back to the other old version. Not sure how this new update even got approved to be released because it’s absolutely horrible. I do not want to see multiple days of tracking unless I choose to. When trying to create a report for one day the time stamps of where the tracker has been are not correct and doesn’t show the full route traveled. The dashboard is cluttered and unappealing. Customer service is a joke at answering questions I asked via emails. And my account is still set for Cuba time… even on the actual website not just the app and I am unable to change it.
I just want to add to the few other people who mentioned the latest update completely broke the iOS app. I have contacted tech support directly to mention all of the issues I’m experiencing, they replied very promptly but only to mention that what I reported had been fixed and that I could try to delete the app and reload it. That was a complete waste of time as I was already running the latest versions and none of the issues I reports were fixed. I replied exactly the same to the tech support answer, but haven’t heard back from them yet. That was about 1 week ago. In the meantime, the new app is close to being USELESS. Can only get proper info if using the website version. As another reviewer already mentioned, if it’s going to take you that long to fix things, just revert back to the previous version, which was working. Otherwise be ready to start getting more complaints and request for refunds. Been using the app and trackers for over 2 years.
BEWARE OF HIDDEN COSTS NOT DISCLOSED WHEN PURCHASE: after buying two gps , I was disappointed to discover that in order to use their product, you are obligated to purchase a subscription plan of $15 a month! Want the voice feature? That will cost you an additional $3-$5 over the other costs! Most devices, which require an application to use, provide the app functions without having to commit to high monthly fees, which according to their terms page states, they can raise at their own discretion and without ANY notice to their customers required! BEWARE! of the data you've collected can be used by this Company! Yep, that's right, they have the right to use any data you've collected for their use in pretty much any manner they chose, with out you consent and knowledge! BEWARE! Of your information being so led to third party advertisers, and including your name, email and telephones number! Ever wonder how someone got your cell number? It's by companies like this who, on top of selling you a product, go and then coerce you to pay a monthly fee to use it, finally selling your personal information to unrelated advertisers for additional funds and monetary gains! The product itself has s bulky, not easy to conceal and doesn't appear to have a way to delete prior trip data, leaving out with a map that is difficult to read from all the lines left by routes traveled previously.
Prior to the update.. app was perfect. Ever since the update.. app does not work at all for me. I need to login to the website to track, which works… but not as good as the app worked. Also I have not been able to use live audio at all. Prior to the update I had always received great customer support and issues were resolved quickly. Since the update I keep opening tickets in support and do not get a reply (if at all) many days later.. and my issues are still not resolved. I had ordered a third tracker right around the time of the update on October 4th.. they took my money, but order has not even been processed yet. Prior orders, my order processed and shipped quickly. I have since been trying to cancel my order for the third tracker and have not received a response for that. Has this company changed ownership? You were so great before and now I feel avoided and frustrated.
The new app update was ridiculous. Still mad that an app was released without being beta tested and making us their research guinea pigs. I was forced to update to the 4G model Mobile 200 (2 of them purchased) because of the loss of the UMTS 2/3G. The audio never worked on the 4G model unless someone was speaking directly in it. I think it is because the magnet covers the microphone somehow. I had previously written reviews about this when the new update came out and had threatened to cancel my subscriptions because the monthly cost had doubled and the service was unsatisfactory to say the least. As of January 7th, my subscriptions were cancelled. I will source gps/audio trackers elsewhere now, regardless of what I already have invested with this company. This is very unfortunate because I really did like their products, prior to the updated trackers, increased costs, and an app that didn’t work.
The new update is terrible!! The dashboard is beautiful, but that’s about it. When I first view my tracker it no longer goes to its current location, rather it goes to the last location it was at for the longest amount of time…I now have to scroll out & search for where the tracker is at that moment. It no longer shows the red dots for locations it stopped. I can’t call my tracker from the app, can’t view the amount of minutes I have on it, I can’t call it directly from the app anymore & there is no longer a slot to let me know how many minutes I have left & where/how I can purchase more. I have been using Logistimatics for 2yrs now & have loved it, but I honestly hate the new update!!
Did the app developers even think this through before executing? I'm a long time customer and I'm about to go elsewhere. Terrible execution of the new app rollout. The old version was WAY better. Now my vehicles are at risk. I have no tracking at all after downloading the latest and greatest app today. I was excited to do it at first but I lost all tracking afterwards. At least before downloading the app I had a halfway working app. Now nothing! Completely unacceptable! I can't update my email address and I get no response from Logistimatics technical support. Just a blanket response that doesn't fix the problem. We should at least get a free month for all of these headaches. Get your act together!
I have been reaching out for over a year trying to get resolution for my problem. I have four trackers none of them are working yet. When you call the number, it says the number is not reachable. They are still taking money out of my account for renewals, etc.. I’ve had to stop the banking card in order to stop them who will not respond to any of my open tickets for Support, I still have trackers that are doing NO good because there’s no way to talk to a human at this company!!!!! WARNING!!!!!! this company was sale, but they were not service their employees. They were not respond to complaints. They will not respond to open tickets.
Usually works well for me tracking a guard dog for my goats so I know when and where I can feed him. Can be a bit cluttered on my phone but good when zoomed in. Most issues are more likely caused by gps and cell coverage and not the fault of the app.
I was having problems with my phone connecting to my tracker. I received a message that said to download the new version. I did that and now I find out that the new version has a chip I have to buy before I can call the tracker . I am very disappointed in this and I will be deleting this app and disconnecting the tracker . I originally paid for a tracker that I could connect to when I called it. I think this is a messed up way of upgrading by not having the calls connecting and the throwing a fee for upgrades . Bad business on your part.
The new update it’s really bad. I do not get push notifications when enter or exit a location. The command text to get the location doesn’t work anymore basically you can’t communicate anymore by texting to the tracker to send you positions basically commands stop working at all. You are not able anymore of to see tracks dote anymore. I miss the old version I’m about to leave this company to get another one since this one stop doing the job. I’m not going to be paying for a service that I’m not getting.
I like everything about these trackers! The battery life on them last very long and the location tracking is spot on! I only wish the trackers could pick up when someone is talking and notify you when it hears voices. That would be a really nice addition to these trackers.
The latest update restored the app to the old style with simplicity and easy viewing on one Page. I couldn’t be happier to see a company take feedback to heart and roll back the changes made about a month ago. I hated the previous app release that changed everything and was seriously considering using a different provider. Now that it’s been rolled back to the old version I’m super happy. If they ever re-release the other version of the one they had redesigned I honestly hope they give us a choice to stick with this style.
The app just went through an update and it has definitely been for the better so far! The UI is easier to navigate now, and the new position markers are much easier to understand. Plus, they have been really responsive to fixing bugs so far!
It lets me know when battery needs to be charged . Once charged last a long time between recharging . Lots of options about notification frequency . It’s does what I wanted . No complaints
I like other users i been using the app for 3 years now all of a sudden the update is terrible it just frost in time i no longer can send out an command to call my tracker something has to be done it has been 3 weeks now please help
Actually works fairly well. Customer service is great and actually responds to me if I have issues. One of very few apps I have that I’m satisfied with. This is honestly a credible app and service, and I am happy with it.
I love my trackers that I have one for each car. I would really recommend it to anyone. It is excellent tracking for in case my car gets stranded, and my spouse can find the car in case and emergency!
Thanks to their micro sized tracker I had bought for my wallet while abroad, I was able to recover my stolen wallet right away, and the police got the thief. I’d would’ve have gone through a lot of trouble to get my paperwork re-done while on vacations. I just can say, THANK YOU GUYS!
It’s not a bad unit nice case and feels durable has been tracking for a few hours now and very accurate location. I wish the app was easier to manage your sleep mode and commands still just want to put the device in sleep mode… but not sure if it works
It used to work great now I can’t see where the tracker stops it’s incorrect on the last location unless I reboot the tracker sometimes it completely looses some of the track and just shows a line jumping across 20miles of nothing back to where the tracker currently is honestly with as broken as it is I want a refund on the time since it was updated it hasn’t worked since.
I spent about an hour trying to cancel my subscription online, there is no feature to allow cancellation even though the instructions indicate that this is possible. I had to contact customer service through filling out a form and they wrote back asking why I wanted to cancel instead of just canceling the subscription AWFUL
I’ve this car charger for almost a year and recently updated this version of it and it’s really really bad it doesn’t work properly anymore the live audio doesn’t and gps tracking doesn’t work at all. The older version I had no problem with it but the version is 🤬bad I can’t track my kids anymore. Highly disappointed!!!!!!!!
Really great app and super easy to use! It had all of the functions/capabilities I was looking for and has made for a very simple and seamless tracking experience! Would recommend!!
This product is trash. Couldn’t figure out where to create an account. An hour later took five minutes for the barcode to scan. A few hours later still sitting here waiting for her to locate the GPS signal in downtown Seattle. Trash all the way I was connected for a phone call to listen in on the tracker couldn’t hear a thing. The time is missing off of what I paid for but I never hear a thing.
The last update is horrible,but you that already. Hopefully will be fixed soon. The battery shows a different percentage in the info page and a different one in the real time location. Then another thing is the price for hour rate($6) is too expensive. You went from $3 directly into $6
Been using 4 battery and one no batters tracker for 3 years. Used on trailers, cars, trucks and other assets Always adding upgrades and great new Chat for Customer Support!
Gave it a one star only because I couldn’t give it zero stars. Bought the tracker, paid for a year subscription. The tracker worked for a day or two and now it won’t report. The battery is still 98% it’s out in the open, app is all set up and nothing. Tried contacting tech support and they won’t respond either, total waste of money!
The recent app update is horrible. The old version was so much better. Go back to the old version until you fix the current issues. I can no longer track the stops my tracker made. I only see a straight line when I know there were stops made in between point A to B.
good product but very expensive the cost of calls $6 an hour if you use the service a lot you will be ruined.. logismatic create a better service plan per month...
Wen I call it hangs up a lot I don’t get connected but it still take minutes away I’ve been using this app for over 3 years and it’s never been fixed it’s becoming annoying and a waste of money
The location doesn't update in real time. GPS Location isn't accurate and audio monitoring hasn’t worked at all since new update. Waste of money don’t buy.
I can’t get live audio on my app!! How can I make the Call to use my Live Audio Feature? I’m using an IPhone 12Pro. This is a must for me to be able to fully use the device.
