MagicJack has been my personal and business solution for home and business the company has fantastic phone quality and features. If your shopping around stop by MagicJack they have the prices to fit any budget. It’s worth getting.
For the most part, I am enjoying my business line. However calls occasionally get dropped on my cell phone. Its most annoying when a call comes in and when you pick it up the call gets dropped. When i am in the office however, the VOIP works great. If you are a small business looking for an office phone this works great however when using the app expect some call to drop.
The quality of the calls are mostly very good! But I have been having an issue of not being able to take incoming calls I pick up the many incoming calls, but the other side can’t hear me or even acknowledge that I picked up the phone!
They over charged my business for over a year. I cancelled there service and went with someone else and am glad I did. Avoid at all costs. Glad they over charged me. They saved me thousands of dollars not using them.
-NOT RECEIVING TEXT- Not able to receive text messages as they were sent. Usually takes several attempts before the app acknowledge one being received! -MISSING CALL LOG- App doesn’t always show the calls that come in. I received a call today and it only shows details from yesterday. App was running in the background the entire time! -NO CONTACT SYNCING VIA NETWORK- MagicJack Business desk-phone does NOT show any contacts. There’s no syncing whatsoever between the MJ Business desk-phone and MJ Business app.
I am at wits end with this app!!! Whenever Im at the office it works great!!! But when It counts, Like being mobile, it constantly freezes up! I am forced to let the customer leave a message and then call back from a number not linked to my company!! This is not cool! My carrier is ATT and I have deleted and reinstalled this app multiple times…. MJB… your team has to fix this issue or recommend a preferred carrier if it is a cellular issue versus a VOIP issue. Please advise…
The app really needs a transfer call feature. Overall decent working app, just difficult to use on the go without having the ability to transfer calls from within the app.
I’ve had this App for about 1 year and it has become very buggy. 1) continues to show notifications on icon, even after messages are read. 2) does not always ring. 3) often can not call from this app despite being able to place call from the regular phone. 4) app stopped delivering phone message notifications via email 5) messages do not show as contacts, just phone numbers 6) can not assign a separate phone ring tone to this app - so I need to check caller ID every time it rings to see if it’s a business call. 7) app is rarely updated or improved.
Stay away from ANYTHING that this company offers. They’ve made a countless amount of money from their regular MJ app and it is total garbage. It doesn’t work just poorly...it doesn’t work at all. They haven’t maintained it in forever yet continue to sucker new customers. If you try to reach out to them...nada.
This company down the drain. No more support and bad service. Stay away from this garbage. I pre paid for 5 years and after a year software keep crashing and no one to talk to. Do not believe the 5 stars it is fake and promoted.
high spam volume caller ids, all dont go vm or show up as spam, inbound call doesnt ring instead goes straigh to vm, call support doesnt know whats wrong, message undelivered everything is wrong with this app and the worst provider
I just started using this app. It's awesome! Works better than any other mobility client I've used. It doesn't drop when swapping between wifi and cellular and works just like the native dialer on iOS10. I use it extensively when traveling internationally as well as on wifi when I'm in poor coverage areas. The best part is it works seamlessly in conjunction with my office office desk phone. Ringing both so I don't miss calls wherever I am. Most importantly my personal cell phone number now isn't displayed to my business customers and clients when I call the back on my mobile phone. Goodbye unrecognizable business calls after hours. Worth every penny!
I stand corrected. The app has been functioning as designed.
I wrote a review decrying charges from MagicJack. I saw charges the first couple of days and they disappeared. I was never actually charged. The app functions as designed and does as good a job as a phone service depending on internet access speeds can do. I have no issue with it and will happily pay the set rate as long as I need it.
When I downloaded the app I had to agree to the terms after I had to login, I couldnt register didn't had the option no account register now, you should fix that
I think this is such an awesome and useful app. Due to the fact that my magicJack business phone is on the first floor of my house, and I hate that I have to walk up/down three flights of stairs, I really appreciate magicJack business form giving me the opportunity to be one of their beta tester for this app and I am so glad that I did. Even though I have not actually had home Wi-Fi service for the past month, I'm still able to make and receive calls through the app with wifi hotspots and I can take my calls anywhere which is such a convenience. Keep up the good work. I cannot wait to they come up with the app for the android phone and I really hope Magic Jack's extends the offer be a beta tester.
