I do like Many Chats features for Instagram but I think the app itself needs to get better. I feel like they tried to make it look cutesy and I feel like it’s super distracting. I also would like to have an option to manage my contacts. There are so many spam accounts on IG and when they message you it creates a new contact in manychat. Not even when I manually unsubscribe that account it still counts it as a contact as it did sign up before. So the actual number of contacts that you have is not really true as they include bots and spam accounts. I also wish they had a swipe left right option on the contacts itself to manage them quicker but right now you need to click each and manage from there. Again, I think ig dm automation is a great and much needed feature but I think the app needs to get better so it actually saves me time. Now the time I save communicating with my audience, I need to spend on managing the manychat account. It’s not really a win for me yet.
If you could actually connect your social platforms to the app without glitches that make it take 2 hours just to get set up- imagine the sales funnel they could have. Guess they know how hard we’re willing to work for our own. Even when I create the flow it only works for half of our followers who all comment the same thing. I would pay for pro if you hired engineers who cared more about functionality that the cheap annoying graphics. Still using the free version of the app cuz I have to for my clients but the second a decent competitor pops up i’m switching.
Feature Request 1: Allow users to add a context in the mobile app. Seems like such a basic feature to be missing. People ask me in person to join my text list all the time. Feature Request 2: allow users to send a video in the mobile app. Either by attachment or by recording it directly in the app so it doesn’t save to the device locally and take up space. Overall, ManyChat has been a huge time saver by allowing us to automate acquisition of relevant customers, tag users, segment them, respond to messages based on key words, etc.
A lot of the time my clients accidental push a button more than one time, and that is because there is no delay time between each push so that needs be fixed. Also clients should have the ability to backspace to return to the previous question or duplicate that question just in case they make a mistake on a response question or multiple choice question.
The app keeps asking me to review even if I have already written my review ones. It pops up to ask for review in between a conversation with a client. I don’t know if there is a feature to stop the user from clicking a button which is way up in the conversation. I mean my flow progressed a lot and my conversation is about to end and suddenly the user clicks the very first button in my flow and the flow gets diverted. How can I disable buttons after the flow moves to a later stage.
DON’T DOWNLOAD IT IF YOU JUST WANT TO USE IT FOR A SHORT TIME ! I’ve been trying to even delete my account but it says if I delete it I won’t be able to use it in the future like ???????? I try to to cancel the subscription it opens millions of new tabs and it’s a headache comparing to “EVERY OTHER APP”.
I think it’s very frustrating to be forced into a free trail. If someone wants to upgrade to pro it should be available. It’s been two days since I’ve been searching for a way to convert to the pro features, the free trail doesn’t really offer many benefits. I would recommend making that feature available for someone to just upgrade at anytime
I was excited to sign up for this app, but it linked to an old business page instead of my most recent and didn’t give me the option to choose which page I wanted to connect to. In the app there is no way to view your profile settings and disconnect the account you’re logged into. It only allows you to disconnect a “channel.” If there is a way to do this it should be a very easy find and accessible from the mobile app.
On top of so many channel connection issues, team member connection issues and an app that doesn’t do what it should, there is poor customer service. I mean 7 days to expect a response after submitting a ticket? Follow directions to troubleshoot issues yourself and app/desktop just keep taking you in circles. Maybe if you’re one person managing the account you’ll figure it out but if you have a team, don’t expect this to work effortlessly.
Trying to work with this app is overly difficult. Sometimes it work, sometimes you get random errors. When trying to do simple things I’ve used in the past, it will randomly not work and I will get told to upgrade to pro. I never know if it is active or not. There are multiple different areas you need to view to look at active automations. The app is not well done.
Much better than the Facebook business manager app, but there are several bugs. For example, the date picker is outright missing in Fields, sometimes 1 day is added to the date you pick. Sometimes the chat input box is missing, and messages take longer than in the official Facebook app to arrive.
It’s an absolute must to have the ability to communicate with leads and customers on the go. Especially if you’re not running a large team of Live chat agents. It lets me assign conversations to my assistant and monitor the dialogue for errors and opportunities!
I really wanted this app to work as I went PRO with it and added it to my website to increase chats. The app is super glitchy, sometimes won’t load, unable to access my contacts, etc. Pointless if I am unable to load chats or access previous contact information. Any news on an update soon?
Been using the app for last 12 months and love it. Able to see all my prospect and customer Chatbot conversations, access all the data and tags the bot collected abd have the ability to Live Chat with them. Also like ability to place them into a flow or drip sequence
My food truck uses ManyChat to help answer our customers common questions in real time like: Where are you located today? What’s the menu? How do I order? And I’d like to book your truck for an event. Still learning new ways to engage everyday!
If you are running a business or do a lot with social media marketing, Manychat is such a useful tool. Their automations make it easy to create a personalized ordering bot to suit my needs at an affordable price.
When it works it’s awesome and simple to use. But, to often there is an issue and no one to talk to. You don’t know that Manychat is having a system glitch so you spend hours looking for non existent errors on your end. Help links are to blank pages Or to complex to follow.
I strongly advise against using ManyChat. Their business model pushes you to constantly buy more room for contacts and add-ons. The desktop version is poorly designed, and you can't block unwanted contacts, leaving you vulnerable to unwanted interactions. Additionally, they restrict editing many contact fields, a feature that other companies typically offer. For instance, you can't directly add WhatsApp user information; it must come through automation. If a user provides incorrect information, you're stuck with it, unable to make corrections. Support is unhelpful and often suggests requesting new features rather than providing immediate solutions. Avoid this company; they are unreliable and untrustworthy.
The automation doesn’t work half the time. I am paying for the pro membership and the app will not respond to comments in feed. About 3/4 of the people that have commented haven’t even received the link. I’ve been trying to work through this with their support team for over a month and they flat out stopped responded and are still charging me for a service they’re not delivering. SCAM!!!
UPDATE: These guys are still showing me the “leave a feedback” pop up multiple times, even AFTER I left this review. I can’t believe this nonsense. We are going to end our service with you guys. This is ridiculous! —- I'm leaving a bad review because you keep annoying me with the pop up to leave a review while I'm trying to do important work. Maybe instead of showing the review pop up every time, change it to every third time we open the app, or don't show it at all again if a user declines more than 3 times. Also your app completely freezes or takes too long when trying to open it. Maybe this new update will help. We'll see!

I wish I would’ve known I would only be able to connect one Instagram page- I don’t even have the option to remove it and connect another. I have two pages I need to manage!
I was using the Manychat app for several days and after many tests no one push notification arrived to my iPhone when a conversation was created for an user. Without notifications using the app on the cellphone is useless. I hope you can solve this.
The platform is simply amazing from a conceptual, implementation, forward-thinking and UX standpoint, I havent found better. Much love and props to all that make Manychat what it is and will be in the future!! 🙌😎🤙
There is no app/marketing system that addresses the short attention span of people today — except manychat. It’s a lifesaver for my business during COVID
I’ve been trying to connect my social media to this app, create automatic messages, and contact someone for support. Does anyone has actual success with this app? I really like it, it has a lot of potential but seems glitchy
I love this service, its great for sales. However, on mobile you can’t save your automation if you have added auto replies for instagram comments. You can’t scroll down to hit save.
If you have a business page, this app is a must. Try out manychat bot building on your desktop and go ahead and download the app as your trusty companion! ♥️💕
Love the web version- but having issues with this app. It’s not allowing me to set up automations for an Instagram post. When I set a trigger, it says ‘disabled’ and doesn’t allow me to ‘able’ it.
ManyChat is awesome. It has been an amazing resource for reaching out to and interacting with customers. So much so, that is has become a critical part of my workflow.
Messages don’t go to done when I mark them as done. My messages say that I have negative -39 open messages. The ‘done’ button doesn’t respond as it should.
Be warned – they will block your WhatsApp number forever!
Just so you know! When I left Manychat, they blocked my WhatsApp account so I’m unable to use it on other platforms. Their support is almost non existent. Someone answer me through email after 3 days with a laconic reply and i haven’t heard from them since then. This is the worst company I’ve worked with in the 8 years my business exists, and the most loses a supplier has ever caused me. Every they I have angry customers who are trying to reach me and I cannot respond to them because of Manychat. Be warned.
You will get in trouble with any platform you use this because it’s ILLEGAL. If you pay for pro, good luck cancelling the subscription! You might as well cancel the card. They will not answer your emails or close your account. This is a Russian company gathering personal information in the US. One star is too much.
I just tried Manychat for the first time yesterday. I was using the feature where people leave a comment and then they automatically get an inbox for me. It worked for about an hour then it stopped working.
On WhatsApp there are many bugs including that you cannot see an image that clients previously send. It’s shame that you always get to update the app “fizing bugs” but in reality nothing changes. I’m tires of this, you should get another developer
App randomly doesn’t work. It’s a large pain trying to navigate, and if you have issues or questions, you can forget about getting help from customer service.
This and their mobile website are completely useless. I don’t understand why this service is so popular when their technology becomes more and more out of date by the day.
I’ve been trying to cancel for more than six months. They keep ignoring my contacts. But they have no problem continuing billing me. Even during this pandemic. It’s predatory. For a company that builds robots to reply to people, it’s mind blowing I can’t get a response from them.

LiveChat for each your bot Be always in touch with subscribers of each of your bots. 2. Don't get bot notifications You can hide messages sent by bot, this allows you to find all the messages sent by page admins. 3. Manage subscriber data See user's information and manage Tags, subscribe and unsubscribe from Sequences, manage User Fields values, unsubscribe this user. 4. Pause Automation Stop all bot messages while you communicate with your subscriber. As soon as you message them back, 30 minutes pause is activated and your subscriber will only receive manually sent messages from an admin for 30 minutes. 5. Assign conversation Assign the conversation to yourself. You can track all the assignments.
