For a company making millions of the backs of Puertoricans and keep raising its rates constantly and a bunch CEO’s with the main one having a salary of 1 million +, you would think that the app at least would be decent. It’s slow, it lacks a lot of functionality, and it forces you to log in every single time. There’s no option to save account or use Face ID to log in. I gave it two stars just because once you actually do log in then you can pay the bill, download pdf and “see outages” at its own slow pace.
It works simply, in other words, if you don't want to pay, we're going to charge you anyway...because if you press the pay button and leave the option for just a moment, you can no longer pay, and you have to try again, in practical terms, another day when you remember...moreover, it doesn't have options for automatic payments...it has a cool option to see which towns are out of service, but I don't find it practical; since if the power goes out in my house, I'm going to realize it immediately, I don't have to open the app to check 🫤 because it will be obvious to see the neighborhood without power...they should focus the app on more essential and practical things..."
Do the app is as reliable as the power in the Island. This app work intermittent, I do not know if the app outages competes with the power outages but neither is reliable. Every time I have to pay my bill it does not allow me to access the app or the webpage, then my payment register late by a day or 2 an it’s frustrating. I wish I could give this Company as a whole a -0 star because is garbage!!! Horrible service overall, from service in general, call center, and app. Also, I’m writing this in English i hopes someone reads it, because I doubt people in charged of this company is fluent in Spanish! You want my money? Fix the app so I can pay you!!!!
Just downloaded this app so I can get familiar with it. I need to be able to see and pay my elderly mother's bill. I can't even create an account. Good grief! I thought AEE's website was crappy but at least I could see and pay her bill. If this is a sign of what Luma has to offer, Puerto Rico is going to be far worse...and I didn't think that could be possible. I mean, how long have you known you were going to screw the residents? At least you could get the frigging website/app to work properly. By the way, will we EVER be able to rate an app with "zero stars"? Wondering because this app DEFINITELY deserves it.
I don’t know if it’s just me, but EVERY single time I want to log in to pay my bill, I have to change my password because it claims that my password (which I double check) is incorrect. I can even change my password in a browser, and then go to the app and input the new information, and it still claims that it’s wrong. I have to recover my account every time I want to pay. I wish I could complain about having to log in every single time, but I can’t even get that far with it. Not to mention the customer support is practically non existent, as I have complained about this before.
As of today can't see invoices history online (not receiving paper invoices) and when formerly seeing them they had not resolved a problem from July 2022 of a power surge that happened inJuly 5, 2022 that results in an invoice 4+times than usual consume! Still not resolved! Overall also difficult To report power outage and deal with power estimated in invoices!
Apparently the app’s functionality is a direct reflection of the company’s efficiency—it would be funny if it wasn’t so tragic. This year alone, because of the constant blackouts and energy instability, I’ve lost an iMac, two heavy duty battery backups, a drying machine, two fans, and a lamp (probably more things, but those are the items I can confirm). I also hired an electrician (perito) to check if the problem was on my side—it’s not. Price for service keeps going up, but the quality keeps going down.
Although I noticed some lack of features like signing in with touch id. Etc. App has been evolving for the better. There’s no loss of saved credentials between app updates and everything has been working relatively ok.
The app is great and super user friendly. Only thing that can be improved is allowing us to save banks and cards on the account so i don't have to look for my credit card every time

Se me va la luz y trato de entrar para dar un reporte y ese día no me funciona el app, necesito un bill de la luz y ese día no me funciona el app. Realmente no sirve. This is my second review this app DO NOT WORK AT ALL Right now I have an outage I can finally login into the account im going to report my outage and it do not let me do it because I don’t have internet connection. This is so absurd I have no idea who is te tech for this app but have 0 in common sense.
People think that you are raising the rates because you want to. They don’t realize the infrastructure has been in decline for the last 50 years when the AEE was running it. They don’t want to bite the bullet and admit that the management was substandard.
Since the new app has been downloaded each update has shown improvements which is good, but I’ll really like to be able to save or print a copy of the bill.
I have to agree 100% with previous review. I can’t get thru either options. I also need to pay my elderly moms power bill. Never had any issues with the previous company. I would like to know how they expect people to pay through their website or app if it doesn’t work.
I just spent a bunch of time registering my account on this app just to find out that it’s pretty useless! I’m unable to pay my bill online like I have for years with PREPA. To make matters worse I go to the webpage and I can’t reach the site ;( Since I get no paper bill how am I supposed to pay my bill? You shady past speaks for itself and this only confirmed it for me. Hurricane season is here and God help us all!!!! How many more people do you want to drive people from this island? If I could have given this app zero stars I would have Get your ...... together!
After several attempts then I was able to create an account. Once registered, 1 out of 20 attempts to enter to the app were successful. LUMA, please figure out something soon! The web page is even worse! This app is not for fun, people need to have this online to pay bills!
Every time I go to report a power outage it’s says I don’t have internet ( which obviously I do ). They charge for everything in the bill and keep raising the power bill for their benefit and don’t event have a decent app with so many mullos they are making with the Puerto R’ican people. 😤
The on-line services along with this app for LUMA are a DISASTER. They are so bad that you are not even allow to PAY them! AEE was bad, but at least I was able to see the bill and pay the charges! I know nothing about this company, but the MINIMUM that a profit-driven company must be able to do is take MONEY from their customers!
Four months after having this app, I still can’t report power outages. The app has had multiple revisions, with little or no improvement. I also can’t save my bill in PDF from the app. Need to go online. It’s useless. Save the space on your mobile device.
PDF invoice can be viewed on phone or tablet but there’s no “share” icon to send PDF to email or to print. This is a bummer! MiLuma website is often down and it’s very hard to access account if you wish to share your invoice. This app functioned better outside wifi connection.
This app is supposed to improve the process of viewing and paying my bill but I can't even register. The app has no instructions on how to register. It says that you can't create the account because of an internal error. Luma please fix this ASAP. I need to pay my bill.
It literally doesn’t let you log in to your acct. WHY would you release an app that doesn’t work? Don’t get me wrong I love the idea of having an app, but I’m so disappointed. First impressions matter and you just showed us you’re not prepared for this job. Way to go! AEE 2.0
This app is not working, the forgot password said “ups something when wrong”. It has been like this from 2020 and nothing have been done. No wonder our energy grid is also not working, lack of supervision and management.
Pros: -Can view your Balance -Can view your Bill in PDF format -Can view outages and report them Con: -Login is with email and password -Option to use Face-ID not working correctly. -No acces with quick 4 or 6 digit pin -No quick view of current Balance Entering email and password everytime to check status or bill is a little bit of a hassel.
I'm trying to register my account and always it says error. Also with the new update, you need to improve that app. People want to pay their bills but with that poor app it's impossible.
After various attempts to sign in, I managed to get into my account. After about one minute I was advised that my sessio had expired. I haven’t been able to access it again
Please make this app better. It looks like it’s been design by a 5 years old. You’re getting billions of dollars from Puertoricans. The electricity service is awfully bad. At least give us a decent app
Tried for days it to login but said my credentials didn’t match anyone in their system. Decided to try the website and it worked great. The app is the problem. Fix the app.
Without a doubt this is the worse App ever. Impossible to use and needlessly complicated. I have called them multiple times but no one seems to know what is going on.
App keeps crashing. Can’t log in so I have to use the web page. As bad as the previous AEE website, but worse because its an App! Sad because I was really hoping for a positive change.

Should have Stayed with the Other (1st) LUMA App. Everything was working Great, until I downloaded this New Luma App. Now my Password remembering site Doesn't pop up & log Me in automatically. I have to Manually Enter BOTH My Login Name & Password. If only I had paid attention to Myself when I saw the New Luma Mobile App & thought The old site is working GREAT, why do I need a Newer Mobile Luma App!!!!
Constantly crash and dont allow to submit outage reports. App says: "check your internet connection" My internet connect is at full blast, your app doesnt work!!!!
The application is Failing at finding already registered accounts and its failing to a unknown error on trying to register in the app. The app just does not work at all.
