Best App for Viewing Video on TV

This is an app to essentially cast videos to your TV, and it does it wonderfully. You can find whatever videos you want online on your phone, then click cast, and the TV will play the video directly from the video link, not from your phone, which is supremely useful in many situations !

Wish I could leave 0 stars

This app had no free trial or free version, then proceeded to STEAL my money because there was zero casting that took place. I have a new LG tv that I can’t cast on due to having an iPhone. I have tried countless apps to screen mirror with no success. At least, all the other apps I tried had free trials!! This one charged me off the bat and still didn’t work. It informed me that it would be taking information off my phone. Frustrated and feeling scammed. Do NOT recommend.

No way to test this out

You cannot demo any form of connection without buying the pro version. While I appreciate that in-app purchases have become the normal way to get full featured access this app is only free to download, literally nothing else is accessible without a subscription. I just wanted to test if this would work in a hotel and I’d have to pay $7 then cancel just to try that out.

This is JUNK💯💯💯

My iPhone is on WiFi and the Tv in an Airbnb doesn’t recognize my phone because I don’t know how to put the TV on Wi-Fi in an Airbnb so this thing only works when you’re in your house or even then it doesn’t work for me I have used other airstream that worked. This one is total garbage and I will be looking to get a refund after I dispute the charge from this ripoff.

Ripoff

I both many apps on Apple Store but this is far the lowest value for money. This is my first review after using apple devices for decades so you can imagine the level of disappointment. UI is poorly designed and this is a compliment. Very limited functionalities. After paying 20$ you still don’t have all functions enabled for which you need to upgrade to a pro version.

Not a fan

App did not give options for subscription or trial prior to purchase. I opted to give the app a shot anyway. Unfortunately it did not work as I needed. I immediately contacted support and requested a refund, 3 days later I have not received a response to email request to cancel. It you are unsure, do not purchase this app. Perhaps soon, other options will be available.

Useless

For this app to do anything you must pay, 3.99 and up. This is app is a scam, not only does it not do anything but has access to any device on your network. Making it most likely a virus too, as the app doesn’t do anything and you must pay. This app is horrible and don’t recommend anyone to download it, this is app is ultimately useless. Also ALL THE 5 AND 4 STAR REVIEWS ARE FAKE.

Figured it was a paywall…

…that likely wouldn’t work for me. I was right. As others have mentioned, no way to confirm compatibility without paying first. But hey why not throw Liam 20 bucks to find out? Maybe he dug up examples of how various wifi-direct and Miracast based protocols worked, a little recompiling in the iOS sandbox, lots of debugging, creatively jumping through Apple’s hoops and bam! An app worth more than 20! NOPE. Instead: you get malware-style prompts for reviews, no way to actually try it out, all while dressed in a pleasant color pallet. Something like this I expect from GooglePlay, not Apple. Oh well, the hunt continues.

No way to contact!

I was quickly scrolling through the beginning and I accidentally hit pay when they immediately asked for a $16 subscription. I have tried to find a way to contact them online but to no avail. If I could get in contact with them and cancel my subscription I would retract this review.

Waste of Money

Bought this app and it literally does not work for me. I cannot connect it to anything and I wanted to try to monthly initially to ensure it worked and it ONLY barely functions under premium. Immediately disappointed even after trying to like it.

Pestersome

Not free. The app wants a credit card. It tries to slip you a membership albeit with some small notice that it’s premium. Then it wants it anyway. The process to get started pesters you to review several times before you are using the app. I tried twice to get past a review but it insists. Here it is… bad experience. P.B.

Does not work

Do not waste your time or money ! I can’t even get a refund because it doesn’t show under my subscriptions because I bought the yearly because I thought it would work . No free trial I should of known better . Horrible app ! I want a full refund !

Buyer Beware!!!

I had to buy the basic weekly subscription for this app to even see if it would connect with my Sony Bravia TV. Of course, it didn’t and now I’m out the money. They should allow you to test your connection before committing to pay. Bad business model.

Not the Sony Miracast app

This is not the app you’re looking for screen mirroring. It’ll immediately prompt for a subscription to premium and it’ll search your network. I was looking to mirror on my relatives Sony TV, and the apps impossible to navigate without paying.

Absolutely useless

I used to use this app occasionally - tried again and you literally cannot do ANYTHING without paying. The kicker? These dudes actually have the gall to charge a SUBSCRIPTION, for an app that uses NO REMOTE RESOURCES WHATSOEVER. This app is maybe worth a one time purchase of $3.99, at best. Stay away.

Defeats the purpose

If you are trying to mirror your device screen to an older TV, don’t bother using this app. Does not work unless you pay for the service.

Cost $20 to find out it didn’t work

There is no ad supported version. I had to buy the full version for $20 only to find out it doesn’t work.

Asks for money

Has no use, did not work with ipad and Miracast. Asks for money, membership etc. Why you would pay for a spec that your device already has.

Horrible app

This app is horrible!!! There is no free subscription. My kids were wanting to watch tv on their phone. And you have to pay to use it. What a wage of an app .

Not functioning

Purchased the app to use on my pioneer stereo to mirror cast videos and it didn’t do a thing. Couldn’t connect to any network displaying on the indications. Waste of $20 dollars. And no free trial. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
