Excellent email support and business team collaboration
Send, track, assign and organize emails from customers as well as internal conversations. The ability to comment privately on support emails from clients or prospects and quickly reply with the right saved and customized responses. Close out completed email threads and even add rules for automations! Grow into the features as the desktop web and apps make this the killer productivity tool no matter what device your using at the moment. Check out Missive before paying twice the cost for another hosted support desk application - your team is already using email and doesn’t want to send users to a ticket system that’s not customer friendly like responses from real people on your team.

Finally…
I’m not a big reviewer. Usually try a new tool out for a day (if that) and delete if not useful. But I’ve been looking for a new email client for a long time. They’re either too minimal (or want you to pay for the simplest of integrations) or they’re loaded with bells and whistles that can’t be configured (or need you to pay to do so). This was obviously designed with a simple business practice mindset. It flows. It’s not clunky. It’s practical and is very user friendly. It’s also powerful with useful integrations and easy access to turn emails into tasks, set reminders and add calendar support. Thank you for making a simple business tool that makes sense.

Best email client in the App Store
As a power email user, I’ve tried them all on both iOS and MacOS.. Newton, Polymail, Apple Mail, Postbox, GMail, Airmail, etc. etc, etc.. Missive blows them all away and that doesn’t even take into account its incredible team sharing features. Just it’s basic single-user email app experience is superior to anything else I’ve used ever. The attention to detail is insane and the feature set is immense. It does everything the other apps do and more, yet they continue improving it at a rapid pace. I don’t have time to write a detailed description of all the features. Just try it and you will be amazed.

As good as sliced bread....
Been using the app for 3 years now. Everything works great. Most importantly the support team is super responsive. The features just help reduce cluttered emails and more efficient Communication. The contact sync is fantastic but, needs some work. Love the fact that if one of my team members receives an email and needs help on a reply or details. All he/she have to do is to send a chat in the email and Bob's your Uncle. I've tried all apps out there, missive is light years ahead and improving regularly. Kudos Missive team and a special shout out to Rafael.

Makes life easier!
When I decided to start having team members respond to emails alongside me, I tried about 10 different solutions before landing with Missive. So glad I kept looking until I found the right one. Missive has all the requirements I need and some I didn’t realize I needed. And their support has been top notch. With a desktop app, phone app and “in browser” site, they really make it easy communicate with your customers. Highly recommend!

The best email client period
In short, this changes the way business works. Less expensive than Front with the same features. Constantly updating with new features. Great integrations too. Email sms Facebook messenger all in one spot. Have a chat with a colleague about an incoming email. Triage and respond to emails as a team. Chat with team members in the same app you use to talk to outside colleagues. Make emails pop back in your inbox later with snooze. Simple beautiful and very well done.

Changed Email Platform Standards for Me
I would have a very difficult time returning to the use of other standard email platforms common in business today. After learning the ins and outs of Missive, it has streamlined communication and collaboration in the work place. Very highly recommend for anyone who likes to stay on top of their digital communication. It will upgrade idea-sharing within your company.

Perfect
Totally the app is the perfect on the app store. I think it needs some marketing to be announced for all email users. Also the web app is perfect. Good job. I hope you make the connection to Yahoo account like Google using email and password not using IMAP as IMAP makes the mails come later into the inbox and sometimes don't come. I hope you make the loading of the mails is also offline.

This is it! An app that’s made a difference in my day
I love this app. I had been using Outlook and found lacking in how it helps me engage with others. Switched to Spark and it became too cluttered. Then came across Missive. Then the it made sense for team, better clarity on items to engage on and the addition of ChatGPT….already providing insightful replies that is bringing further clarity. I love this!

Swipe is EVERYTHING!
Missive is super snappy email client. I don’t use the team features yet, but I came here because I heard about the swipe feature. Let me explain. In other clients, you can swipe an email left or right and it’ll delete/archive/snooze. But that’s only one at a time. In Missive, while swiping if you don’t let go and swipe down you can apply that same action to multiple emails. AMAZING!

Found a Hidden Gem
I am obsessed in productivity apps. I am so obsessed that I loose productivity in search for them. When it comes to e-mail apps I tried them all. When I say all I mean all. Missive is everything I wanted to have and nothing more. It is presented as team inbox but is also amazing in personal use. Five stars. Ten points.

Best email client around - changed our business
Missive is a total game changer! We use it for everything now - sales, support, triaging inboxes, billing, etc. I can’t believe we used Gmail and other mail clients prior - nothing is like Missive. Their support team is also world class - quickest responses around!

Much better than Front
I had tried a bunch of these types of utilities and settled on Front which was ok. By chance I stumbled upon Missive, and I fell in love immediately. Much better performance, substantially better apps, terrific support and it all works as it should. A great app.

This is by far the best designed, fully features and we built email app around. Ideal if you have a team, but perfect for freelances or anyone regularly dealing with mail. It's multiplatform and extendable and their support is incredibly responsive. Highly recommended.

Hopelessly Disappointed
Yet another update and still no Notification Interaction. I know Missive is a small team but this is such a small feature request too. Why do I have to get into the app every single time when I receive email in order to perform simple actions like Delete/ Reply/ Archive! Do you guys never feel need of such a standard notification feature in iOS?

Best shared inbox
Recently moved from Front and don't look back. Better pricing and integrations. Robust API allows making integrations quick and functional. Would like to try phone integrations, with that combination this would ultimate omnichannel solution. Analytics is not so important for our team but looks like it is on the roadmap. Helpful support (when you are looking for a solution) and valuable updates. Wish a great success, Missive team!

Scrolling issues on M1 iPad Pro
I have to constantly restart the app due to scrolling issues that occur every few minutes. Very frustrating. Better to use the web version frankly.

Long time user of just about any productivity product you can imagine. I’ve never left a review for any app. This is so good my only concern is they get bought out or shut down, and I am left with nothing as good as this. Great design, great customer support, and I was able to delete several apps since using missive and that is a blessing.

Great email for power users
Arguably the best email solution out there. Very solid performance. Great design. Impressive support team responsiveness. Cohesive design for the mobile and the desktop apps. The most comprehensive array of tools and features of everything else out there. Great Gmail support. The paid/subscription model gives hope that they will stay at it and not sell out.

Beyond expectations

Not loading any more
Worked great for 2 days, now it’s not loading no more. Or sometimes it works, but takes about 2-5 minute to load a single mail. Don’t really know what’s going on with all mail apps, but seems like it’s a great niche to build just another app that would simple work.

Best Inbox Management Tool
We've been using Missive daily for all our client communications, and it's incredibly efficient for managing multiple inboxes and calendars. It's like having everything in one place, which saves so much time. The way Missive handles emails and schedules makes work much easier, especially when you're juggling a lot of tasks. One of the coolest things is how it turns email management into a collaborative effort. We can work on emails together in real-time, which has been a huge plus for our team communication. It's also great for avoiding the usual problems people have with ticketing systems, making our workflow much smoother. To be honest, there's not much to dislike. If I had to point out something, it would be the initial setup phase. It takes some time to get used to all the features and how to use them best. But once you're past the small learning curve, it's pretty straightforward. The dev team is also extremely responsive and helpful when questions do arise. Missive has simplified how we manage a ton of client communications across multiple inboxes. Before Missive, keeping track of different email threads was a bit of a nightmare. Now, everything's in one spot, and the headache of switching between accounts is gone. The collaborative aspect is amazing. With Missive, the whole team can jump in on emails in real-time. This has been great for our internal communication and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. Also, I appreciate how Missive smooths out the usual bumps associated with ticketing systems. We're able to track and manage client requests more effectively, without the usual clunkiness. This means we're quicker to respond and more organized – which goes a long way in keeping clients happy. When deciding between Missive and Front for our team's communication needs, the choice ultimately came down to cost-effectiveness and billing flexibility. Front, while offering a similar range of features for shared inbox and team collaboration, was significantly more expensive. Their pricing structure was a major consideration. Front's plans, when compared to Missive, were notably higher. For instance, their Starter/Growth plan is priced at $59 per user per month, whereas Missive offers a similar plan at $14 per user per month. This difference becomes even more pronounced at higher tiers, with Front's Productive/Scale plan at $99 per user per month and Missive at $18 per user per month. Moreover, Front's most comprehensive plan is $229 per user per month, compared to Missive's $26 per user per month​​. Front is up to almost 10x more expensive for almost no additional features, if any! Additionally, Front only offers annual billing options, which requires a more significant upfront financial commitment. This lack of flexibility in billing was a disadvantage for us, as it limited our ability to scale or adjust our plan based on changing team needs throughout the year. In contrast, Missive's pricing plans are more accommodating with monthly billing. Front should change their name to "Up Front" because that's how they require you to pay.

Favorite Email App
I found this app thanks to the Asana Integrations page. It has all the things you see in good email clients such as snooze, responses, saved searches, send later, and such but I really love it for the following reasons: 1. Consistency across all platforms: web, mac, windows, android, iOS 2. Split the “integration” column horizontally so you can see more than 1 integration at a time. 3. Rich contact manager. 4. Integration to Twilio for SMS support. 5. This sounds like such a small thing but it maybe should be my #1 favorite feature: Inbox will include your replies in the “sort by date”. So when you reply to an email from a few days ago, it will move it to the top of your inbox.
