Just want to say “Thank You” I am thankful for being part of Opcity and have the opportunity to serve our clients to either finding the perfect home or selling their home and helping them get top dollar. I want to thank all the support staff with Opcity too. You have built an amazing tool for me as an agent that allows me to connect with clients that I would have never been able to meet. 🥰 Again thank you. 😊
Title for Sample Review 1: "Disappointing Experience — Opcity's Lead Quality and Technical Issues"
"I tried using Opcity to find leads for my real estate business and unfortunately, my experience with their platform was not as successful as I had hoped. The quality of leads I received was disappointing, as most of them did not pan out and were not prequalified as promised. Additionally, I faced glitches and technical difficulties after updating my phone, which prevented me from claiming any leads at all. I was very disappointed with my experience and hope that this feedback will prompt Opcity to address the issues and improve their service. As a professional in the real estate industry, my success relies heavily on the quality of leads I receive and I strongly believe that investing in a lead generation platform should yield a positive return. While I appreciated the concept of Opcity and the promises it made, it did not deliver the results expected. Overall, I cannot recommend Opcity at this time."
I was using Opcity for just over a year now I have experience very poor quality in many of the leads they supply, they say that they’re vetted, and pre-qualified. Many of the leads that I get are already working with an agent. The biggest setback I’ve run into so far as I operate on a team with my brokerage. I ended up closing out a client that was transferred to me, and as many of you may not know you need to close three deals under your account in Opcity before you can set parameters for the referrals you receive. I asked the representative at opcity if they could transfer that closing to my account because I was the agent that close the deal, he refused to do so into this day I do not have three closes and cannot set my, I don’t know if it was general laziness on the customer service representative. I spoke to, but I was very disappointed I will be very reluctant to take any more opcity Leads in the future.
Most of the time I never get a sound notification from the app. When I look at my phone I see I have missed a lead and the notification will not cleared, even though I have opened the app and see yet again the app failed to work properly. It drives me crazy seeing that I have that 1 circled in red that I’ve missed the notification and it won’t clear. I have checked all my settings and they are correct. All my other apps work with no problems, it it isn’t my phone, or any settings issue. I’ve done the “test” within the app and sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. As much money as you take from from agents I expect a lot more from this horrible app. You won’t even provide a way to reset our score even though you have failed on your end. We still have to suffer the short end of the stick. You’re business model has zero integrity.
When I first started using the service I got tons of notifications. Many of them were not vetted well and were a complete waste of time, but over the last six months I did close five deals but at a huge expense. The referral fee is a little ridiculous in my opinion, but in the last couple of months I’ve gotten hardly any leads at all. The app will often show that I have missed leads that I never got. I can also have my phone in my hand and will click on the lead immediately upon receiving it and still not get it. It is so frustrating to get a notification and not be able to claim a lead.
I’ve been registered with the Opcity platform since I became an agent 3 years ago. I’m not sure if it’s regional, but the quality of leads are terrible. They aren’t qualified at all. When I ask the rep questions before transferring to the potential client, they don’t have answers. Agents and brokerages really need to collectively push back on the 30-40% referral fee since Opcity barely vets the lead. For a 30% referral fee, I qualify the leads I refer. For what’s offered, Opcity’s fee should sit at a generous 15%. In addition to that, Opcity owns the lead for 2 years. The app is glitchy as well. I have to login via the desktop site to see info I need. I was receiving leads consistently, but they barely push any through now.
What is the biggest bugs that I’ve seen is when you accept a referral call and on the phone with the client they were still send you referrals . Which get sent to expired and hurt your referral score. I I can’t take the call because I am on the phone with another client, Opcity should automatically put your account on snooze until you turn it off after excepting a referral call
As a Fairly new agent coming in this platform us very helpful in getting me started with working and talking with people about real estate. I would like to suggest with the new laws that we buyer agents are experiencing it would be helpful to let the possible clients know that in order for an agent to show houses we will need to sign a buyers agreement in order to show a home.
I recently changed brokerages and before then was receiving leads or at least opportunities to win leads, but ever since I have changed over I have yet to receive ANY leads or opportunities. All I’m being told each time I call is to lower the budget and expand my area. Expanding my area would place me with clients outside of my MLS and as far as the budget. They already send me leads stating higher budgets than what the client is actually budgeted for. Either way I have lowered the client budget and still have not received any opportunities to win a lead. I guess I’ll just have to get used to the sound of crickets….
Their site says that the lead notifications are sent to one agent, then a few seconds later another agent and so on….but even if I click on the lead the second a notification comes through, it still says someone else got the lead. Or it says someone else got the lead, but I still get a phone call with that lead but my stats don’t reflect it as won so that effects my score negatively. Plus, so far, none of the leads I’ve won have panned out into anything.
These leads are lightly qualified. You will have to finish qualifying them, often getting pre-approved. Which is not that big of a deal. I’ve been using it for 2 months and I have closed 3 deals, and 2 more under contract. I have another 3-4 active buyers as well. Opcity has been great so far.
This app has a ton of bugs and is not easy to work with at all. You cannot change the date on “schedule a tour”, so if after your conversation with the client you decide on a different date than they initially input, it will send a confirmation for the wrong date. Now you have to reach out to the client again and let them know that it’s the app and not you that made the mistake and assure them that you have the correct date. This should’ve been worked out months before this was ever presented to someone’s boss.
In theory this is a great source of leads, notification issues hold it back. Multiple times I have had my phone open and not got a notification and then realized I missed a lead. I’m not new to speed to lead concepts and am always ready, and yet somehow I miss them? This in turn hurts my score even though the fault is with the design team. Could be a great app but rn it is just average.
Easy to work with, amazing resource for our business
Opcity has been an incredible partner for us. Their easy-to-work-with approach has been a big part of our business success. We appreciate their seamless coordination and the positive impact they’ve had on our operations.
I have used this app for well over six months now. I’ve had a few closings from the leads generated from this app. I have not received one lead in six weeks. However, when looking at my stats, it says I am not claiming leads or that I have skipped over leads. I can’t claim them if I don’t get them. I have used the “send test” to make sure my notifications were active. I received the test notification however, I’m still not receiving any actual leads. I have uninstalled, reinstalled… several times.
I would not only recommend this service to new Realtors but to any agent that could use the extra volume in sales. It has few glitches, mostly qualified leads, and is extremely user friendly
I’ve been able to claim and close some leads but seems most of the time I’m missing them even when actively on my phone. That’s annoying. But the most annoying thing for me is the notification dot, I’ve gone all throughout the app and can’t find any new notification but the dot is still there. This might not bother most people but it drives me crazy. Please work on this app.
The app notification badge WILL NOT go away on my iPhone. I have turned notifications on/off within settings, searched app for any open “issues” and even deleted and re-added app with no change. I tried to reach the support center and there doesn’t seem to be any direct contact info - all pre-constructed support documents. WHAT AM I MISSING ???
They do an excellent job vetting the callers. The leads have been reliable; I have been able to close 1-2 deals a month on average with them consistently in the past 3 years.
I’ve been using Opcity for about 3 months now and it did not take me long to see that theres obviously something suspicious going on. It’s happened to me multiple times where i win a lead at a price range of $400,000 plus where i win the lead and they call but click immediately after. Today it happened again and i don’t understand why this happens. Very fishy
These guys hand over a never ending stream of the type of clients you do not want, and charge you an arm and a leg for the privilege. They don’t vet the clients at all. Client location and other information often incorrect. Referral fees up to 50%. It is what it is, but they are lucky I’m desperate enough to entertain this for now. Probably not a great addition to a successful real estate career, but may help get you off your feet if you have no other options
If you are willing to remain vigilant and on top of your app you’ll get a steady stream of leads through Opcity service. App is super simple to use and honestly works better than other competitors upfront paid for services.
I have only been using this app for about a month and so far so good. The app is intuitive and easy to use right out of the box! The referral management is great and keeps you on your A game with follow up. No disappointments so far!
I’ve been with Ready Connect for several years and the quality of business leads I get is legitimately great. Good customer service Easy process of follow up too.
I have not been able to update my clients status for almost 24 hours. There is limited contact information for this company so when you do have an issue, good luck receiving help fixing it.. I have deleted and downloaded the app again which has not worked. It’s extra frustrating bc this hurts my score, but it’s the app’s fault.
I used to get plenty of leads but since realtor took over almost none and when something comes in, it goes to a blue screen that I have to scroll down and try and find the accept button, by then it is too late- not sure why that can’t be fixed; I reported it many times- also fees are really high and now they want an extra 3%— wish they were more user friendly,
Similar to other online lead sources, I.e. it’s a crapshoot. Some good ones, a lot of not so good ones. The tough thing is seeing that big chunk of referral fee being taken out at closing when you do convert.
This app needs a lot of work, leads are not pre qualified as was told, several leads already had agents, I could on about those things.. I don’t expect every lead to buy, but many of these leads aren’t capable of it at all unfortunately.. also it shows that I’ve missed leads that I’ve never seen before as well
I love OPcity! I’ve had several closings and they have always been there if I had any questions! I love the app and it’s so easy to keep all my contacts organized and in order!
Love this app! Easy to use, provides adequate leads with u expected support. Just a phone call away. The professional staff are incredible. Highly recommend!
I just closed on my first transaction via Opcity and it was great ! Only thing not great is that the system continued to ask me to do a Stafus update when i had done it the previous day . Other than that .. great experience!
Soon all the other companies that provide leads will be using the same business plan as these guys so in the end it’s always a established funnel of leads with typical splits
The idea of the system is great and the app works fine. Can maybe use some filters and more option to tailor it to the agents expertise. Lead quality is okay just need to view as an long term opportunity.
I am a new real estate agent and the leads I’ve been able to claim have been great. Most of the leads are looking for lower end cost homes, but I’m enjoying working with them.
The features are very user friendly. The only glitch is that at times based on phone inactivity or many open apps. It might freeze! Thank you! Jovida Alvarez Diaz Homes & Land Realty by Jovida AD
Prospects aren’t always vetted very well especially when you’re a new agent in the referral program but generally are ready to buy between 3-6 months. The app itself is a great tool to use.
Out of 50 leads “won”, I have had 2 closings in 6 months. The majority of the leads aren’t vetted well, and are a waste of time. The referral fees are 30-40% depending on different things. I send a lot of my commission check to them just for the “introduction.” Good way to start out, however, not for the long run.
I believe that Opcity has been a great success in this market because of its ability to attract sellers, buyers and investors who want to buy, sell or invest in a property.
