I look like an idiot constantly thanks to this app. I clock in or out, I wait for the green check mark to confirm that it has actually loaded and registered the time, and then I close it out. The next day I get an email from my supervisor that there’s no clock in or out time for that day. I have started having to clock my time, wait for the check, close out the app, and then reopen it to make sure it registered for real. Half the time it didn’t. This app functions just enough to lull you into a false sense of security that it’s finally working right, and BAM—it’s back to not working. Every two months like clockwork this app seems to get buggy and stop working, as an employee I would highly recommend employers stay away from this app. I know it is not user error as this happens to almost all of the other part time employees who use this app at my job and seems to happen with no rhyme nor reason.
We have been using OTC for about 4 years and after this most recent update everyone is having problems logging in and the admin features have been removed from the mobile app. I think it’s time we move to a real time clock app because we are spending more time trying to get this to work than it is saving us in costs.
I have to double check every day to see if it registers me clocking in and out. Having to put notes in to my supervisor all the time about it not working. My coworkers have the same issues. We have been told recently because of all the issues this week to try deleting the app and reinstalling to see if this helps. Sure hope it does
I clock in and out every day with this app. I clocked in this morning, ran the update that showed up this afternoon, and now it’s nonfunctional. I can log in, but no buttons respond. And I still don’t know why it’s always given me a warning about something in /var on every login. Please fix so I don’t have to use the website.
I have to use this application to clock in for work. I have to monitor hours closely. The most recent update removed all of those capabilities. Very inconvenient. Hoping it’s more of a technology slip up and it’s being fixed. If not, that capability needs to be brought back.
I loved this app but a recent update took away features such as the overview, accessing time from other periods and the notes. This reduced a huge amount of function and ability. Please fix this and return all the features.
Please fix this app! I have to use it to log my hours and the update takes away my ability to see my hours and adjust my schedule to stay within my assigned hours.
I’m a high school student and I leave early to go work. I have to use this when I leave school and it’s not even allowing me to create a username and password. I can’t even make a login
OpenTimeClock is a web based time clock system. The Manager can setup employees, see who is in/out, edit time cards, print reports, manage account billing and much more. have the ability to manage all aspects of their assigned employees, including editing and printing time cards.
