I got a deal on the device but trying to use the app has taken a big chunk out of my free time
Trying to set the heat and display settings, checking the battery and charge time (which idt it says unless you have the power dock) and overall glitchiness of the app makes it seem like: you’re paying for a newer device while receiving the old one….yet this is the newer model with its first ever app. I looked to see if i was updated to 1.1.1 or checked at the app’s listing on the App Store and it just said “OPEN” today. So yeah Jolly Roger gots some ‘splainin to do. Oh yeah where’s my cleaning reminder? I’ve taken about 40 dabs in my pro chamber after using my classic chamber on the pro base for like 300 dabs. I put anywhere from 200 to 1000 dabs on a rig i get, yet I don’t spend much and am usually satisfied. Yet i like the device itself more than the app?! I can’t believe it it’s like it’s aging me.

Great Device. Easy to use App
Took a few minutes to get setup, not more than 10 min though. After that everything has worked great for me. I got a Flourish Puffco Peak Pro v2 so it has a skin unique to it. Went on Reddit and got a bunch of links to Mood Lights other people have made and shared. I think I have about 40-50 on there now. Got my temps dialed in and adjusted the settings to my preferences. All in all I think it took bout an hour. I’d only used the Puffco for a cpl dabs the night before & had never used the app. I followed the directions that came with my Peak Pro and the videos on the app that show what to do. This was 2 months ago. I’ve only had an issue of it not connecting to my device two times. I restarted the app and it was fine. My cleaning reminder works fine too. I don’t really have to recommend this if you are looking at the app you have either bought a Puffco or you plan too. I’ve tried a lot of devices, I’ve yet to find any that are better.

Not the worst device but app needs serious improvement..
I’m gonna start out by saying the peak pro is a huge improvement on the last pro and the first peak. but there are a lot of issues not only with the app, but also connection issues I have had with a brand new 3D chamber. I have had the peak pro for five days now. The app is the laggiest app I have on my phone. It consistently logs me out of my puffco account and anytime I click adjust heat it lags for 10, 20, 30 seconds before I just close it and re open. The device itself other than the chamber connection issues has been phenomenal, which I would assume for $420 should be the case. The app however makes the experience feel cheap and inexpensive. I will assume their profit margin has to be high considering this is just a simple heating device with some electronic components and LEDs. they need to immediately hire a developer and get in contact with Apple about the no vaping app policy because people will start to wake up and realize it is not worth the 200 extra dollars for the “app experience”. this is not a warning against the peak pro, but this is just insider knowledge on someone who dabs regularly and enjoys smooth and effective experiences.

Don’t Buy A Puffco
This app makes me want to break the thing on a daily basis. It’s the worst app I’ve ever used. It won’t open, you have to close and open it sometimes 50+ times, it won’t update firmware, it won’t let me log in or create an account, it gets stuck at the gmail page and you can’t go back or even exit and return, you can’t do anything. The solution? There isn’t one, the only thing I found to do is uninstall and reinstall and start all over. Oh and the app isn’t recognized while in use so in case it actually works you have to keep touching the screen or it logs you out. How can PAX make such a great app and that was years ago? I can’t imagine the loss of revenue over not hiring a legit software development team. Way to go making sure no one will buy your device again because the app is so poorly made it rarely works. With weed it’s a lighter, dabs it’s butane, this is an app that won’t work, battery needs charged, then needs updated, then it won’t recognize the atomizer. This thing makes my life more difficult and I spent a lot of money for the experience. You’ll see.

Don’t bother
Nothing from the app works. The dabs left tab is incorrect mathematically. The battery life doesn’t match the dabs left. The dabs taken doesn’t match at all the dabs if actually taken. They should have put extra components on the peak itself to tell you how much battery you have left. Don’t dare tell friends to get it because an actual glass rig at that price is tastier and better. Later my puffco accessory got clogged from hitting diamond rocks and I couldn’t fix it and they didn’t even bother looking at it other than my pictures. I was a puffco fan but I’m going to quit weed now sense it’s time consuming to pack it even with a peak pro that never reads its chamber.

10/10. I’ve had absolutely 0 issues with the device or app. My avg is 6.0 dabs a day as I have work buddies who use it with me and my total is 4197 fixing to be 4198. And let me tell you, that chamber gets filled heavy. Ive taken this device on vacations, float trips etc. I think most of these posts are USER ERRORS. If you click the buttons twice for heat and it blinks red and white that means the CHAMBER IS NOT CONNECTED PROPERLY AND YOU NEED TO TAKE IT OFF AND TWIST IT BACK ON. Thats what happened on my float trip. Water filled the chamber, I took it out and dried it for 5 minutes, good to go. About the only thing I haven’t done is dropped it like a moron. I would 100% recommend this beast

Super struggle to log in!
The app forces me to log into my Puffco account. why? I mean seriously, why? Okay fine I try logging in. I choose “Sign in with Google”. It asks for my passkey, which is my face. But the camera never activates and it goes to a new screen: “Something went wrong!” I can choose “Try again!” Or “Try a different way” That’s the ONLY choices. I can’t go back or anything else. “Try again just brings me back to this screen. “Try another way” lets me choose - Use Passkey -> does the same as above - Use Password -> I enter my password, followed by 2 factor identification, which wants to use my passkey, which works for every other app but this one. So I change my 2 factor identification method, It takes several more tries! Yay, I can mess with my Puffco Pro and do fun things. A few days later, I try to use the app again. It wants me to sign in using Google again. WHY! Really put the info you need on my phone and stop needing the internet unless I need to order something or get a firmware update. I love the Puffco Pro, I love what the app can (or is supposed to ) do! But fix it! Pleases fix it! (I’m a software developer, I can help if you need.)

Pay attention if you can’t connect the app to peak pro
For the past three days I’ve been trying to connect and download the Path Browser to the peak pro but it kept saying connection not working or something with Connection failed, what I found out..I had to reset my iPhone and then download the Path Browser app and then it work, if I would’ve known to just reset my phone from the beginning it would of been easier , I tried resetting my peak pro , and downloaded the app over 20 times it worked on my iPad so that’s when I figured it was my phone

This app is a joke
I am in love with the device itself; however, I found it worth the cost because of the digital aspect. Why in the world is this app ALWAYS glitching? It won’t connect or the main screen won’t pop up. I have a lot of friends interested in the device because of the idea of the app but I have to send them the other way because your app can’t even function properly. My biggest issue at the moment is I had to delete the app and restart my phone just for it to still not work. The accept and decline screen won’t show any words and remains white, if I can get that far. I can’t log in, before it would connect to my device but the screen would remain black. I just can’t seem to figure out the issue with why this app is so complicated?

This is trash
How can you not produce an app yet? My puffco used to be my favorite company for electric rigs, but to be honest , the last one I bought the glass was defective and they wanted me to take videos.??? They never replaced it. Fast forward to a month ago (less than a year, it would not even work anymore) so I just purchased another one about a month ago. This is the same one, the glass was correct this time, but it’s already started throwing codes and won’t hold a charge….. And as off two days ago, it won’t even connect or pair…. I did everything the same exact way I used to and it was already in there and named and modified so this is upsetting 100%. I used to love puffco’s products but now I am searching for a better company. Do better puffco. This was my 10th rig.

Limited Edition: Desert V2 Peak Pro
**Caution** I recently purchased a desert peak pro and upon many others not only myself basically everyone who has gotten this colorway has had issues with the app not corresponding and functioning the way in needs to. The Bluetooth connectivity is faulty and doesn’t register as the “Desert Edition” on the app and the device is left as a dud. This bug needs fixed asap because those of us paying $420+ for a paperweight is unacceptable. Thus far puffco support has had minimal to no resolving solution to correct the problem for the users who have already bought the product. Puffco support seems to only fancy replying back one email per day which drags the process out even further. Please beware.

Haven’t had many problems
Only problem I’ve had with this app is when I first got my peakpro I couldn’t connect it I tried everyday for about 3-4 days before giving up. About a week later I tried to connect it again and it connected no problem. I setup my heat temps and lengths I like and I haven’t had any problems since then. A lot faster than a glass rig easy to pack just don’t go overboard clean it regularly and you’ll be fine. You can expect a lot smoother dabs and a quick and easy experience I’d recommend to others

Browser Non-Functional
I gave it two stars because it was great for a few weeks. But now it gives me an error message. I haven’t been able to get in to the app for days now. Tried deleting it and reinstalling it several times, but it pops up with Google browser. Maybe there’s a fix, but I don’t want to have an app that I have to continually go in to fix. Luckily, the device has basic functionality without the app, but I probably wouldn’t have spent $500 on a product if I had known all the features wouldn’t be available without an occasionally functional app. Live and learn.

Puffco Needs to make an App period
The app isn’t bad at all they say when you try to change ur heat setting or any settings for that matter you can do it like 2-4 times in a row or else it’ll freeze. To me it’s not a big deal I just close the app and re open it and it’s perfectly fine. Not bad app or running for not being made by Puffco don’t hate on them when you bought a thing that doesn’t have the app yet lol that’s on Puffco should be happy there’s this to even hit a dab

Needs Urgent Update for Overheating Issues
I recently used Path Browser and found it to be a potentially useful app; however, there’s a critical issue that needs immediate attention. Firmware Error Brand New Puffco PeakPro
I just received my brand new puffco pro I was so excited to use it and it won’t connect to my phone I have factory reset it I have deleted and readded the app both of them and nothing is working it see it goes up to 10% to connect then just shows I need to update the firmware but there’s no way to do that unless it’s connected and it won’t even connect please help I am about to throw this at a wall. I have the brand new update on the iPhone and I have an iPhone 13 max pro. Updated: got it to connect updated the firmware then the Bluetooth connection wouldn’t connect even though I could see it so I forgot the device and I havnt seen it ever since.

Works great for what it’s for
I keep seeing a lot of low star reviews from people that think this is simply a regular browser, it is not, it’s designed for one thing, and that’s to use the puffco peak “app”, (for those that don’t know apple does not allow tobacco/ smoking apps, and this is puffcos workaround) and it works perfectly for that. Maybe uses a little much battery but other than that no issues. If you’re expecting a full featured browser, look somewhere else because this app is not that.

It's Not the best but it's sort of working
I have the new peak pro desert and I've been having problems after problems I can't even delete profiles or add new moods anymore. I can't even set presets anymore so I had to use the one that were already there and costomize that, I've only received one update and honestly it was working better before the update. I just want the bugs fixed because I just dont to sell this $420 devices just for software

Can’t back out of gmail sign in screen
Opened up the app to see that I’d been signed out, and I accidentally clicked on the option to sign in with gmail and wasn’t given any way to go back. I tried completely closing out the app and restarting it, but it just opens up right back at the gmail sign in page for whatever reason. It’s looking like the only option is to make a new account with a gmail and redo all of my presets and everything. You’d think for such an expensive and tech-savvy brand they’d put a little more effort into the software side of things, but it sadly isn’t the case.

Babs igoin commented a fix that worked for me after my Peak Pro would no longer pair. Uninstall Path Browser. Hold Peak Pro power button for 20 seconds, so that it resets. Reinstall app and go to the url [puffco dot app]. Then you can select “Get Started”, which’s prompts the correct Bluetooth connection permissions. I chose not to upgrade firmware. This got me back to the functionality I had last year. My issue before the fix was that when I launched path browser, it said couldn’t connect. But when prompted to give Bluetooth permissions, the Path Browser launched the wrong settings pane, with no Bluetooth option, so it couldn’t be fixed. It also wasn’t showing up with Bluetooth devices. Puff Co should have this info right on their instructions page. This app is the definition of a work around.

App crashes every 2 seconds
I had a puffco before and I thought it was one of the best products ever. Then I got a new one and the app completely killed itself. You can’t do anything on the app without it pitching your screen black. I tried to login and of course it crashed. Even when trying to access the temperature controls it completely gives out and forces you to restart the entire app. At one point I thought these guys were at the top of the food chain when it came to e rigs. With the app not being able to perform its most basic needs this is just as good as the carta or any other brands around. At this point with company’s like carta putting their temperature controls on their device, it’s hard not to think that I wasted my money. I wish the support team would get back to me so we can try to resolve this issue. Not really a review more so a rant but I hope this helps someone going forward.

0 stars - honestly return your puffco - please read
I spent $500 on this product that costs $60 to make and charges retailers $160. Within 2 weeks of clean, small dabs, the base had accumulated wax. Not sure if I have a defect but the leaks were ridiculous. Then THIS APP. No. Just no. Updating your firmware will completely render your device useless. It won’t charge, won’t connect, and will never turn on again. I’m serious, my fellow smokers, invest in a different brand. Puffco has a lawsuit in 2022 and has 32 pages of complaints on the BBB. Save yourself the money and headache.

This is the worst device ever I got a Desert limited edition and it’s straight garbage will say it’s ready to go then say connect issue even if bucket is brand new, my friend bought and gave to me after it happened to him for a few days and I’m on my 5th day of it not working I own 5 diff Apple devices works with none of them just buzzes at me all the time. Vapor production is mid when it works and it seems to use more wax then my traditional set up, really not for anyone who wants an enjoyable smoking experience

Pointless app
Doesn’t work. Adds zero to the puffco peak experience. Disappointing, buggy waste of time. Literally no value, and just steals data. Avoid ADDENDUM It does work and is pretty cool. The problem is the firmware install makes the device disappear. You have to factory reset the peak by holding the power 20 seconds and then reinstall the path browser and app and everything works. Moved from one star to three.

Good Idea, Mediocre Experience.
First off, the puffco should have its own proper application but that’s neither here nor there. The application is so slow upon opening that even the fonts take time to load. Along with the diagnostics. Ive only had the app crash twice . Also while using it if you have it warming up before u open it, it lags hard. So I recommend opening the app prior to the sesh if u wanna show off or adjust temp during

Not as bad as people put it to be
Although the app isn’t perfect, people are making it out to be unusable. It’s really not. Yes the app does lag quite a lot which is kinda annoying but you gotta look past that. And it barley crashes at all. Once you setup all the temperatures and stuff like that, when are you really gonna be on the app except for like showing off to your friends.

Works well for puffco app
I have only used this for the puffco app and found it works well. If having issues try cycling Bluetooth off and on, and restart the app. The instructions for actually saving the puffco app to home screen are a bit weird but if you follow them it does work.

This app needs to be fixed
This is app is ridiculous, always crashing, always saying network errors, and I can’t even create a heat profile it literally doesn’t allow me all it says is network error. There has to be an update to fix these issues. I like using the app because I have longer sesh’s and higher temps but they need to fix this I mean it’s simple issues with the app that are constantly causing customers problems you think it would be fixed by now.

Disconnects from app constantly
I have the desert peak pro and I can’t make a heat profile, customize the colors, or do hardly anything on the app due to it disconnecting and reconnecting to the app CONSTANTLY. I can only use the app while connected for only seconds then boom disconnected from device.

Garbage app, don’t bother if you have an iPhone or iPad
Super glitchy, buggy app…more hassle and frustration than it’s worth. You have to go through many many hoops, to try and resolve all of the connectivity issues between the device and the app. if you bought the peak pro because you want to play with the settings, adjust, temps, etc. And you want to use this app on an iPhone be very thoughtful before you make the purchase and be aware it doesn’t work well with Apple devices.

Good but big problems
The app itself is amazing but you guys need to start adding to it more and there is a huge bug where you can’t log in and if you can’t log in you can’t use half of the features More customization could definitely be added too New moods soon please !!!

Used for 2 days before hitting a hard lock bug
Was enjoying the app and the puffco for just two days before I got a 503 error when trying to open the app. Had to completely reinstall everything and add it back to the home page, thankfully I did that and it fixed it. Really hope this isn’t a weekly experience.

Worthless Trash
I have seen better app proaming on an iPod. This is by far the biggest scam a device company has portrayed. “Pay an extra $100. So you can get nothing because we don’t know how to program. I mean when you can’t log in due to countless internal server errors. Fix your server. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. The Peak Pro is nothing more than a peak with crappy blue tooth. Better off buying standard edition and burn the other hundred you at least then you get to see something for the money. THIS IS WORST APP ON SMARTPHONES.

I don’t even know how this ‘browser’ hasn’t completely crashed and burned, it’s like it’s moving at the speed of continental drift. It should bring a level of simplicity to physically gauge your sessions, but using the app completely ruins the experience to the point where it discourages me from using the actual device. Need to show that you have some concern for the people you market to.

What upgrade?
In the beginning, I had connectivity to the app. I never had more than one or two dabs without a glitch needing to be reconnected made me crazy it took my sleep. I paid couple hundred dollars more for this one. Might as well have the old one, there was no upgrade. Oh yeah, maybe an extra light or something but that’s it, not substantial. Don’t buy it and there’s been absolutely no upgrade to the app. I wasted my money don’t do it.

App is beyond broken
App refuses to connect to my new puffco tells me it’s connected and disconnected at same time and then tells me I’m using a completely different puffco than what I’m using complete waste of time tried re downloading app and turning puffco on and off and resetting Bluetooth nothing has worked come to conclusion the app is trash besides for being able to customize temps and colors if you can even get that far 👎🏻👎🏻

Great product, terrible app
Puffco consistently makes high-quality products, but their app really misses the mark. It is incredibly buggy and struggles to connect via bluetooth. This app really needs better QA to meet the Puffco standard that their customers are used to. I hope they hire more engineers to get this app’s quality in line with their other products.

Why have an app if you’re not gonna support it?
The app is pretty awful. It disconnects in a heartbeat. It’s a pain to reconnect and asks you to accept and re-off every single time including re-sync. You can’t change your settings through the app anymore at least it doesn’t remember them online. For such a premium device, you would expect better.

Works well. Now and then the heating screen goes blank when starting a hit. But it’s easy to reset the app while finishing your hit. Very happy with this solution for IOS.

Has potential, but needs work
As many of its users appear to use it for the Puffco Peak Pro, it has some work before its good to go. a) the add the homescreen instructions are false: The share button isn’t in the form you are told it is and the app doesn’t support the add to homescreen feature b) The homepage cannot be changed to the Puffco Peak Pro app: You must either type in the address or open the tab each time you open the app c) the top and bottom bar don’t disappear during use to increase visual appeal Otherwise it works as expected and these are minor issues that just add some friction to the UX

Don’t buy a puffco
At one point all my friends had peak pros and they all ended up breaking with simple use (no dropping or water damage) just started glitching and stopped working, mine still happens to work but the battery is not very good and I recently tried to use the app and it WONT pair at all, I’ve tried everything and no matter what it will not pair, do not waste your money.

Not working or worth it
I just bought a Puffco and this app is giving me sooo many problems it won’t connect my pro or ever load it ridiculous how we have to add Puffco to another app on your home screen like why not make your own app with this expensive company. I would never buy this again or recommend it to any of my friends waste of $500 dollars!!

Logged me out and stuck in login screen
I use the app semi-often just to check the stats and make sure to reset my clean device timer but now it has logged me out and it’s stuck on the login screen. Never thought I would have to sign in and go through hoops to use something I paid over $420 for, that’s before tax too.

Very buggy and unreliable
This app barely works half the time. There are a multitude of problems ranging from connectivity issues, link rot and time outages. You would think after paying over $400 for a piece that’s advertised with bluetooth capabilities, it would work relatively well. Ive tried to get answers from Puffco and they’re asleep at the wheel.

There’s no point get a peak pro when the app doesn’t even work! My puff co is 3days old, and my coil went out!! Got a new coil now the app doesn’t even work. Unbelievably mad and I honestly feel robbed. Already looking for my new favorite brand, because puffco is so big now they lost the quality control completely.

Horrible way to connect
This isn’t a cheap device, you would think they would create an app by now to make using it 100x easier. This way they have it set up barely works. Sometimes it’s perfect, others it’s the worst thing ever. You make enough money by selling these things, invest in a real app.
