Myself along with a couple of colleagues are having trouble signing documents. The app completely freezes as soon as a document is open. It then won’t allow you to sign it. Before the update it was the same issue, only it would let you sign the document but then you would have to exit the app completely to sign another document. Anyone else having this issue?
I have been impressed with the flexibility that PowerDMS has provided my organization in terms of policy management. I was very happy when I learned of the mobile app because almost every office has a mobile device on them all the time and they are able to access policies and other resources we keep in PowerDMS whenever necessary. I had the same problem others were having with the app freezing, I decided to delete the app and reinstall it and now it is working properly. Only thing I wish they would do is allow messages to be viewed through the app, and not just documents.
Since downloading the app it made it easier to find the information and assistance i need when looking for some thing! There was recent update and now provides an additional warning when signing policies. I like this feature as it also allows face recognition.
We issue smart phones to all employees, so with the mobile app everyone gets policy updates at the same time. “Signing” a new policy can be done in seconds, even when employees are working from home.
I am hoping they add abilities to submit training requests and view policies side by side with previous versions. This is a great tool though to allow your employees access to important information in the field.
Can you guys make it so that when a user selects faceid it actually remembers your selection. Also make it so that we can stay logged in. Super annoying to have to login almost every time I use the app. Fix that and I’d give 5/5. The search function works well. Thanks.
The app is experiencing login issues. App recently downloaded by several apple and Samsung users in our organization. After launching app the site key is entered. The app then fails to continue to the additional login credentials page. Great app and resource when operational.
It was working fine up until a couple weeks ago. Now every time I open up a file, the app freezes and the document doesn’t load. Tried deleting and redownloading and same problem
Good policy app. Only issue I’m currently having at the moment is the repeated notifications of the same documents when it’s updated. I get up to 6 notifications when power dms is updated with a new document. Might be a simple bug
Having the most current policy available and not having to hunt for a new version is invaluable. The mobile app puts the entire department manual available in the field.
The app hasn’t been working for me for about the last year. Most of my coworkers are having the same issue. Two error messages appear - “the refresh_token was generated for a user who doesn’t exist anymore” and “an unexpected error has occurred. Restart the application and try again.” The app is useless at this point despite still receiving notifications for new documents.
App works well for reading documents. My only gripe is that you are unable to read messages on the mobile platform. I have to physically sign into a PC for messages because the app does not have a message feature.
As an administrator for a company whose employees work different shifts, PowerDMS has been a huge asset allowing all of our employees to review policies and take monthly tests at their leisure. It is also a great resource for employees out in the field to review documents on the go!
As an Admin. and user I really appreciate the ease of login into my account to search for policies and other materials. I have encouraged our Officers to download to their electronic devices rather than waiting to find a PC.
The app is a great way to keep up with assigned documents, very easy to download and use. Also a great handheld access system for the work documents you may need to refer to from time to time.
I can’t view the document. It’ll open but the screen is blank. Just a gray screen and it freezes. I’m in the field a lot and this app allows me to take care of reviewing the documents sent from my upper rank without having to go back to the office and sit at a computer. Please fix this. Thanks
I’ve only been using it for basic features and viewing documents on the go and it has done that without issue. It is a nice companion app to the website.
What’s the point of the app if you can’t get the messages through it too? I have to open the app to sign documents but then I have to log in on a web browser to see if I get messages and read them.
For the past weeks I’ve been unable to sign documents. Once I click on the document, It opens but the screen goes gray and I am unable to press anything. I close the app and try again but it keeps happening.
Just downloaded app as my center has switched to it. All it will say is “ Not Supported - Sorry, PowerDMS is not supported on jailbroken devices. In order to keep your data secure while using PowerDMS, you will need to restore the device to factory security settings. - Contact your administrator for more information.” I’m on a brand new iPhone 13 Pro Max…
