Great app!

Very easy to understand and use! I added 30 products to my Shopify store so far using the Printful app and am very pleased! I can’t believe how much I can get done with this app for FREE! I was also able to order a couple samples of the products that I designed with the design tool, made an awesome logo with the logo maker and built my store. The products also came with descriptions to use and I love the courses to guide you through the steps and encourage you! The tutorials are appreciated! I definitely recommend this app to pair with your e-commerce platform!

Wide variety BUT

There’s a wide amount of options of products to choose from and good print quality BUT, the prices for each item and fees are kinda rough. I run a online clothing business and the prices on there have to be kinda excessively high so I can atleast make some profit off of sold items but some people look in the other direction due to the fees Printful brings up for sleeves and a back print. If Printful had not removed but reduce these fees and general prices for their products it would really help my business a lot. I also want to address the clothing customization. When I crop the size of images the image completely disappears. The image snapping and lack of options to customize the image kinda gets really annoying when you are designing on a phone, I wish Printful could be more advance and more options to customize would be better. But glad Printful can print good, have multiple options, and deliver at a decent time (usually a day late) I look forward to Printful improving in the future.

Not finding it to be user-friendly

I was able to connect my Etsy store and actually get a couple of products linked to it. It’s a new day and I cannot find how to add more product to my Etsy store. It seems like part of the menu disappeared because I check every section of this app looking for how I can add a product to my Etsy store. It is not user-friendly, unless you want to order something for yourself then it’s simple. Linking to your Etsy store must be an option in front of you. Period. Also, I noticed a couple of times I would align my artwork on a T-shirt as example, and it would not print where it was supposed to be, and was off to the left. Also, I noticed. quality is not that great considering the price we have to purchase at for. I bought one of my designs to see if it was last. But it’s already feeding literally after three washes. I actually wash the shirt inside out and dry it inside out.

UX on accessing order status needs improvement

I like that we get notified as soon as orders (or shipments) get sent out, but the user experience for tapping the notification for more details is terrible. When I tap a notification from my lock screen, the app loads slowly and basically forgets that I’ve tapped a specific order and just brings me to the dashboard. By then, the notification has disappeared, and I can’t view order details unless I happened to remember the order number before tapping. The only workaround is to pre-load the app first, and then tap the notification. Hardly optimal!! Please build in a “notifications” or “alerts” tab into the app so we can tap and see all of our orders/shipments that have been recently sent out. This is especially important during COVID-19 when customers’ orders are super backed up. Every littlest update has significant impact, and a very little app fix can bring it that much closer to our fingertips. I want to see WHOSE order was just shipped out so I can have peace of mind.

Awful customer service so far!!

I haven’t been able to use my account since the day I opened (10 days ago) because “I need to confirm my email”. No problem with that! The problem is that I wrote them the same day telling them I had issues with the system, which kept saying “there was a confirmation email sent to your email”, and that “if I didn’t receive anything, request the link again”. Nothing ever arrived to my email!! Not even me requesting lots of times!! And when they “reply” (3 different people have done it) they keep asking me what was the email I register my account with, even though I have said it already before!! REALLY???!! HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO BE WAITING TO CONFIRM SOMETHING IT CAN BE DONE IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES???!! THAT IS UNBELIEVABLE AND UNACCEPTABLE!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! THERE IS NO VALID EXCUSE TO NOT EVEN BE ABLE TO SOLVE SOMETHING LIKE THAT BLAMING COVID-19, AS THEY STATE ON THE PAGE: “HIGH VOLUME OF MAILS ARRIVING”!! IF YOU DON’T HAVE ENOUGH EMPLOYEES TO HELP IMPROVE YOUR SERVICE, HIRE SOME MORE!! 😡

Printful WAS great,,

Ok I have used this company for YEARS! And for years I have love it! Their quality was amazing and turn around time was superb. But lately within the past few months their quality has decreased significantly. I have several Etsy stores and I sell mugs tee shirts and hoodies. Sadly almost daily I have to submit problem reports of broken mugs, or items misprinted or double printed on apparel. This is really affecting my reputation which I worked SO HARD TO BUILD! Despite over 20 complaints they still refuse to pack their items in such a way that they don’t break. Update: developer said as of right now they have no plans to change they packaging. And sadly just this morning once again I had to submit 2 more broken mugs problem reports. Very unprofessional, and with no plans to fix it. There you have it folks!

Update 1.13 made the app useless

I’ve been checking back since this update went live to see if there has been fixes but there hasn’t been. This update was not ready to go live. It was a complete layout change but in doing so none of the product pictures will load and when you go to the orders tab or try and view any products etc. all you get are white bars against the black screen background. The app was already a decent overview, and I prefer to use the website still, but now there isn’t really a point in having the app until this gets fixed. Yes I have deleted it and re-download it with still the same issues across a couple devices as well.

Hear me out!

The T-Shirts came in a timely manner. The print was acceptable. The website was a little confusing when I needed to go back and edit my T-shirts. The reason I gave my experience a two star rating was because the quality of the T-shirts was not for my liking. The T-shirts resembled under T-shirts that you would normally put under your clothes. You could see through them very easily. I contacted the company via support chat to try and rectify my issue. I was willing to continue business, if they change the quality of the T-Shirt however, they told me that my dissatisfaction was labeled buyers remorse, and there is nothing that they could do. I was pleased with every aspect of my order except the quality of the T-shirt.

Very Impressive!!!

Shalom! Highly satisfied with the quality of the material and expert embroidery. The hats I designed and bought were exactly how I thought they should be. Fast delivery, 5 days faster than the expected delivery date and extremely well priced. I’ve already shared the company with friends. Only negative is the design programming, got error in size of design on sides of hats. So I just kept it simple with front and back. The downloading/uploading of files is pristine and easy to use after you read ALL INSTRUCTIONS. Love you guys! Thank you.

App still does not work in landscape mode

It’s nearly 2020, and this app still does not work in landscape mode on an iPad. Come on Printful, it’s overdue. The last time I tried this app the notifications didn’t work properly and I missed orders. I don’t know if this has been fixed yet because I’m not using a portrait app on my iPad! So disappointed to find out that a year later this major user interface issue is still not addressed. I noticed a developer response (to another reviewer) saying the app is not yet compatible with iPad, if this is the case then why is it available in the App Store on an iPad? Or more to the point why haven’t you made it compatible yet, you’ve had several years to do this? There was a time when Printful was way ahead of the competition but they are really starting to lag behind now.

Genuinely free, and perfect for beginners!

It’s free. Does give option to buy pro. And it’s well worth it. They make it easy for beginners who are looking to start their own brand. Only thing I would suggest is it does shut down on its own sometimes when using the app. Also, an easier way to view each font before selecting it as I hate scrolling all the way from the top when I select one. I usually forget where I left off, more fonts would be great and an easier way to remove backgrounds of images and a way to format them to the needs of the requirements.

Great idea. Poor execution

I love the simplicity of the idea that is Printful, but their website and their app with a lot to desired where simplicity is concerned. It’s challenging to apply an existing designed a new product. Finding an existing design to apply to a new product is a pain, and it’s really not designed around a user experience. I’m grateful that they took the time to respond to my concerns. I just want it to be easier to use so that I can use it more often and effectively.

Customization and Templates View

The app is good for basic items but as a business owner you would like to have the same capabilities on the go as the website! There is limited functionality with creating the templates and the ability to edit them on the app. Customization is a bit challenging when creating templates and the ability to edit is also limited. Please update the app to allow more ease of customizing and editing templates as well as adding them to stores. Overall good app! App has the potential to grow and get better once they improve on the functionality.

Can’t do everything

The app is good for getting a bird’s eye view of orders and such but it doesn’t allow me to approve design questions from Printful. There was a problem with the embroidery and they asked me to approve their solution. I could see the Hold that was placed on the order, I could see the updated design, but there was nowhere in the app to approve it. This is extremely frustrating as I was not near my desktop computer and my order was needlessly delayed by two days until I could get to my desktop to release the hold. Second time this has happened. The app is helpful but not nearly enough robust.

Do Not USE IF YOU WANT GOOD CUSTOMER RATINGS

Terrible service, reps don't care about or value business. I've had an item in quality review for 7 days, they continue to tell me it takes 2-7 and send me a chart showing times. Then respond to me with its "merely just waiting for someone to review the printing" The rep(s) show no sense of ownership, escalation, or care. This is shown through their responses and copy and paste responses. Tried to escalate as i am using Printify now and they have sent 14 orders out, printed and many already delivered, I am still waiting for a facemask to be "merely reviewed" Save your client ratings DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, also it appears they of thier reviews if you see a negative comment their is then a slew of non descriptive comments with 5 starts. Major trend.

This app is amazing

I tried this app for over one year now and it has been working all day long I didn’t spend all day long on my phone making clothing for school and it gives my phone free shipping and whenever I have a question about my package it will let me know why it wasn’t there on the right day printfull if you’re reading this just letting you know this is the best app ever that I have seen on the App Store

Terrible App

If I could give this app no stars I would. I have my account connected to my Etsy account and it makes it seem like you just put your art on products and make money. That is not the case. If anything I’ve lost money because Printful won’t ship your order until you pay them first. Then Etsy won’t pay you until you have a valid tracking number which Printful will not provide. Once you get paid you realize the profit margins set by Printful are completely wrong. I’m out $50 on an order right now. Trying to make money to support my art and this app has done nothing to help. If anything it put me in a worse position when I started.

App is Okay, Customer Service is Horrible

I’m a small business starting off and I’ve already had issues where the clothes was shipped, the status was changed to “delivered” 2-3 weeks later. Only to find out the clothes was not delivered to the customer, but returned to the warehouse. And then it sits there for a few days before it gets “donated” and it’s gone forever. And once you find out it was returned, you contact customer service and they say “oh, your stuff was already donated to charity” so you lost your money and your clothes…. And customer service doesn’t care. For a multimillion dollar company, they don’t mind screwing over small start up businesses

Simply the best.

I’ve used other print fulfillment companies and this one is by far the best. Easiest design interface, online support in the moment, and great selection of products. I have minimal knowledge of programming and interface and it was a breeze connecting my store to my woocommerce site. Our nonprofit doesn’t sell a ton of stuff but these guys still give me full customer support for every question I have. Can’t recommend enough.

pretty good

All in all, it’s a great platform. i love they have an app so i can keep track of all my orders for my stores. that’s what bothered me most about printify os that i couldn’t check my orders if i wasn’t near my computer. their customer service is great too always responds immediately and resolves any issues. great to use if you’re starting your own business

User since day 1. Printful customer since 2017.

This app is definitely helpful when you want to get straight to the point and create orders on the fly or monitor your volume. The recent addition of the P2P chat device is a little buggy much like on the mobile version of the website but I suspect with the newest iteration they may have snuffed out my previous issues. Maybe in the future some customization visual report or an ability to display store catalog would be nice.

Needs more options

I’ve been using this app since January, mostly to keep track of my incoming orders. One improvement that I would appreciate would be to be able to change or cancel orders within the app. I am not always near my computer when an order comes in and if I need to make a change due to customer request, I would like to be able to do that on the app - if I can’t get to my computer before the order starts processing it is too late.

App Needs Better Features

I love Printful, but this app frustrates me because it is nothing near the online version. It needs nearly the same capabilities as you would online. I could not figure out to save my life, on how to move along with my products after I finished designing them. The app and the web need the choice between a male and female mode mock-up rather than it being automatically selected. Other than that, I love Printful.

As a small business it frees me up from having to store merchandise. This is a great way to do business. I don’t know what your percentage is, but I don’t have to handle anything. All I have to do is focus on my designs. I am glad I’m waiting waiting for my first product to. I wasn’t happy with the way. The T-shirts were done so I won’t order any more of those.

Looks good, missing a lot

The app is clean & crispy, but missing a lot of needed features. Like, I can’t even see a list of what I created on my lapotop while under the same profile. Only am able to see what I ordered. I understand that this might take some time. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. I’m keeping the app for now. Looking forward to many updates.

Please add fulfillment response button for mobile app

I appreciate the ability to fix fulfillment issues on PC Devices/normal web browsers, but please add all payment resolution options for the mobile site as well. Today I could not easily find the option on the mobile app which would’ve been a disaster to resolve payment issues away from home. Thank you for your help in this process.

Website has more functionality

This is a good to look at stuff on the fly, but the website on mobile has way more functionality and ability to do important things like create mockups, create collections, more detailed order information, the list is endless. The app needs to be a 1:1 copy of the website. Still useful though.

Difficult to use

So, I do not enjoy leaving only two stars for this app as I really enjoy this companies goods and services. However the app leaves you needing a computer to do most anything. Have an order on hold, I’m on the road and don’t have a computer with me so I rely on my mobile devices and it seems I am left stuck waiting to get home to use a computer. I also had to do all my designs on the computer as well. The app only seems good for viewing your orders and for them to advertise things to you.

Needs work

I love printful, but it doesn’t work well with mobile. Maybe I’m doing something wrong, if I am, please let me know so I can change my rating. Every time I want to add text to my product, it places two texts. The thing I want it to say in a plain font and the “your text here” font that I want. I also try to make inner labels, but every time I do, it multiplies the icons and there’s nothing I can do about it. I thought well maybe it just does that, but I can’t add my brand because there’s an error.

Please make this app tablet friendly

I love the products I’ve created in my store using Printful as my POD. But my concerns are the inconveniences of designing, ordering and monitoring on the go with my mobile phone and iPad. I’d like to see better applications formats that turns the app in landscape as well as portrait modes. I use my iPad for most everything but its frustrating to work when i have to turn my device to portrait when landscape is more functional for me.

Decent, wish for More features

Hey, I like the app overall! I know I put 3 stars I would still recommend users download it however I think there could be better room for improvement with the rewards/discounts being put on here, and some more editing within your account since the only way to do that on mobile is either going to a browser or through Shopify which is annoying.

Not happy with the billing process

I like Printful products but what I don’t like is you can never have a major sale or have hundreds of customers purchase from you unless you have thousands of dollars in your own bank account. This is bad if you’re trying to grow your business

Lacking Website Features.

the app is missing somethings that the website has, recently i encountered one where my order was on hold, didn’t tell me why, i just thought it was cause of holiday season. 2 weeks go by still, nothing, i go to the website and i have messages from printful telling me my puff embroidery isn’t possible. i didn’t receive any email or anything telling me about an issue. now my test products are delayed i’m probably going to get it them in january now.

Problems while adding designs

Love the app, it’s great!! the only issue i have though..is that whenever you try to make an order and you put your design onto the item. it automatically goes down to the color selection and you’re basically locked there. there’s no scroll bar to go upwards, only left or right. could you guys please add one!

Need access to update the payment option

This is a great app but we need some more features. For example I sm having access only to my phone my laptop is at home and I for some reason my payment option failed and I want to update or take look which payment is setup so I can take look and solve the problem but the app doesn't have that feature to peep into the settings of Payment.

Do not use Printful Online or App. They are Scam!!!!

Do not use. This company is a scam. They flagged and put my order on hold for “security concerns” after the order was approved by bank and confirmation sent to me. Asked for a bank statement but then remind to blur out other activity. Ridiculous!!! I have ordered from many custom shirt companies this has never happened!!! So do not use Printful, there are way better ones out there. CustomInc. Zazzle. Underground Printing. Printful are scammers ditch the scammers yes I was refunded but still asking for the statement, suspicious very much so. Ditch the scammers!!! Ditch Printful!!!!

Not Much To It

You can’t create new products or even see existing designs on the app. It’s only for customers. The most you can do is look at your Shopify orders. I need to go to a Printful app for that? They are so busy meddling in things like how much I earned from OTHER PODs that they don’t have time to make an app that could actually sell Printful designs. I can’t fathom how such an incompetent business model can make it for long. Pretty meh. Actually very meh. Doesn’t help designers at all. A waste of effort on their part for a major disappointment.

I had Printful embroider and print some clothing for my business and i was actually very surprised at how well they did. I have tried other companies before but I have never gotten the quality I was looking for until I received my package from Printful! Thank you so much and I will definitely be ordering more!

Insufficient.

Just a heads up, the app is pretty insufficient. The navigation needs simplification and we should be able to easily transfer our logos onto anything and in the way that WE want to put it. I made a logo on the Printful website and I haven’t been able to use it. The mobile app is slow and makes you start your designs over and over again. A brain numbing duplicity. Please fix these problems. Your better than this.

Good idea bad execution

Printful is awesome for what it does, but not how it does it. The design templates on the mobile app are super glitchy. Multiple times I’ve created a design only for the app/site to glitch out and lose my design. The computer version of the site doesn’t seem to have a bar to scroll down, so I have to highlight the text and move the curser to scroll up and down on the page. Very inconvenient and makes designing way more difficult.

Perfect for managing the orders!

I really like that i can manage my orders from the app because I travel a lot & every time its not possible to take my MacBook or iPad. Thumbs up for that! But, I would really like to see some advanced features now from the seller point of view since it has been so long this app has been created.

It’s okay but please update

The app is good but it still needs some more features like the website as in making our products; also both the website and app need these products, keychains, jars, teapot, plant based scented lip balm, stuffed animals, jewelry, trinket trays, adult onesies, bodysuits, business suit, a clothing set, tea cups, lingerie, lunch box, handband, head sets, chiffon play suit, leotards, jumpsuits, adult size bibs, calendars.

Very simple

Love the app. It’s straight to the point and very very easy to use. Some more features would be nice in the future but it’s very new so I expect that. The only problem is the switches for the notifications won’t activate. They are real buggy. I’m sure it’s just a little problem bc it’s new but overall super nice application.

Overly Complicated and Slow

Idk why this company has an app. Hardly anything is cell phone compatible on the app. The chat glitches and covers the whole screen, buttons don’t click that are needed (like menu options), etc. Also they make you pay them after an order comes through…before it ships the items. Who on earth wants to go make a separate transaction for every single transaction a customer makes? I’m switching to a more user friendly company.

Keeps kicking me out while designing templates

Let me just say this is a great app to keep track of everything, however it ALWAYS kicks me out and erasing my designs while I’m trying to make templates. I don’t want to feel like the only way for me to make my designs is using my desktop computer because again, it’s overall a very useful app and I also really enjoy designing templates while I’m on the go and need to pass time. I’ll change this to a 5 star review if the developers fix this issue.

Would it be possible if this app can be like the version that’s on the computer? Meaning be able to create clothing through the app for your business and all the other computer goodies but just on the Mobile app?

In-App Product Customization

I would rate this much higher because it truly helps me with my online store’s orders and keeping track of products. However, I wish you all would allow in-app product customizations. That’s literally the most used application of Printful for myself and many other e-commerce owners, but that’s the biggest thing this app is missing.

Waste of time.

For my very first order, I spent hours uploading a simple design for an all-over print dress. The app kept redirecting me to the very beginning of my design, all of the sudden it says my file is too small, so I click ok, then it immediately tells me it is too big. When I finally received the dress, it is missing the custom label, the bag it came in smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. Not worth the money at all. I have not heard back from customer service. I will try a different service.
