Just what I needed - also great customer service
After spending two days with my new pup trying to keep a log of her bidness trips in the note app, I was thinking how great it would be if there was an custom app that made such tracking easy. Found this, which with its use of emotions and captions it was exactly what I had hoped. Although I didn’t like the hidden freemeium status, I decided I needed to the app so it’s one of the few I’ve purchased to continue use. Unfortunately, I used a different email than my Apple ID (or something) and had some issue syncing the purchase, but I took a shot and fired of a quick email to their support. I got a response that day and they sorted out my account very quickly.

Great tool for puppy owners
I like the 2 views - 1 by event and the other across multiple days. I paid for the upgrade to be able to enter start and end times. One added feature i would suggest is when you enter start/end that it shows across the hours in the weekly view. For example - sleep 2pm-4:30pm - I’d like to see the same icon across the hours to see the pattern and also break down by half hour vs only hour (again multi day view). Over all very happy with this app - it helped me see patterns for potty behavior and saved me clean up time inside. It also has reminders - like monthly flee/tick meds etc (anything really) but another great feature. It reminds me of when my kids were in daycare and I would review their daily sheet to know when and how often they ate, went potty etc.

Very helpful
It’s only day one of using this app and already I’m seeing patterns that have been helpful. I love that it works on my watch, too! Very easy to use and customizable. The smart reminders make all the difference. I tried another app that had reminders but you had to set a specific time. In this app, you can set it for x number of minutes/hours after the last occurrence OR a specific time. I have mealtime reminders at specific times and potty reminders that automatically reset when I mark that she went. I highly recommend!

Just what we needed
This app has been so incredibly useful. Being able to see patterns and set automated reminders has made it so much easier to potty train and has significantly reduced accidents. I now have a Pup to Date complication on my watch so I can quickly take a look at when my pup last went to the bathroom, slept, ate, etc. which has made it easier for me to start recognizing my pup’s body language. I also love that this syncs so perfectly—my husband and I both have the app on all our devices, making coordination easy. This app has been amazing!!

A must have for new puppy owners
My wife and I were tracking our puppy’s meals, potties, and naps in a shared Notes doc and I knew there had to be a better way. Thankfully, a quick search found us the Pup to Date app and it’s been an integral part of helping is raise our puppy, Paco. Both my wife and I are able to view and log Paco’s activities and it all syncs up perfectly. I love the emoji based chart view that makes seeing patterns in our puppy’s schedule viewable at a glance. We also love the Apple Watch app that makes logging his potty times a breeze while I’m multitasking reining our puppy in and picking up his droppings. (I can probably set up a Siri Shortcut too?) In any case, I really appreciate how simple and straightforward the app is to use. Within minutes of downloading, my wife and I both paid for the full version and day after day, we’re so thankful we have it.

Tracking Otter
This is just what I was looking for. Makes it easy to track food, water, and potty schedules. It has several useful features, but it lacks instructions on how to use them, so it doesn’t allow me to really maximize its potential. For instance, in the reminders, you can set a reminder to automatically trigger when you log an icon. So it reminds me 45 min after I log food (🍗), so I can take her outside. You can also adjust the icons to whatever you’d like by adding to your favorites in the settings menu. I wish I could edit a reminder, as the timings will change as she gets older. Right now, you have to delete the reminder and set a new one. The watch app is nice, but buggy. I’ve selected my 5 icons, but only 3 show up on my watch. The watch app also shows you the time elapsed from the last time you logged an item (i.e. 1 hour 25 min since 💧), but it is not always accurate. I think it’s worth the $4 and hopefully they will add features and debug the watch app with more purchases.

Exactly what I was looking for in a puppy-training tracking app!
I don’t want to video chat at 2am and 4am with a puppy training expert like all the other puppy apps advertise. I just want an app where I can track my puppy’s activities so I can get a good idea of how his body rhythms work. I want the super frequent reminders for the first week at least, so that I don’t get distracted and miss taking him outside. This app is perfect PLUS it’s fun to use different emojis to explain what happened throughout the day. I will recommend this to every dog owner I know! Thanks!

Perfect for potty training!
Wish I had known about this when I first brought my puppy home. She’s two years old now but still has occasional accidents… My fault for going too long without letting her out. But this has solved the problem! Not a single accident since I’ve been using it! So quick and easy to log each bathroom break, and then I get the reminder a couple hours later and let her out again. So simple and so effective!

Perfect training tool for a group
This has been a big help for training. We can see a trend and it is so much easier than trying to keep records on paper to share with one another. The best part is the customer service. They are incredible. After sending an email, I get a very quick response. I highly recommend this app if you are trying to track your dogs potty, feeding, medicine, schedules.

Simple user-friendly app
This app is EXACTLY what I needed for my new adopted puppy. I needed a easy free way to just keep a schedule so I and his other caretakers can keep track of feeding, naps and potty. There is a one-time payment of $3.99 to get the unlimited version where there no cap on how many things you can track. It is definitely worth it. Apparently this app was made by a small business which made it an easy decision to spend the 3.99.

Love this!
First off I don’t leave a lot of reviews, if any. But this app has been perfect for what I need. After rescuing a 1 year old husky that needed all sorts of scheduling, organization and training keeping track in notes wasn’t cutting it. This made it so easy to track him and everything he does. Walks, crate time, car rides, everything when you have a clean slate pupper. I hope they can continue to develop the app and add new features.

Easy to use
Easy to use and intuitive interface. Helps me look for patterns and keep track of the habits of my four month old puppy. Easy to log in meals, number one, number two, and naps. Easy to edit prior entries, and to input data that you forgot to add. three days in with my puppy and I’m learning to pay attention to the data and the trends to avoid accidents

Great App for 1st Time Puppy Parents
We have our first puppy and this app has been so helpful. My husband and I can both have the app so we don’t have to try and remember to keep each other updated. And logging each thing is super fast and easy to keep up with. So glad that we found it!

Just what I needed but lacks some features
I love the app very easy to use and track, but lacks some important features. Calculate average time between meals and potty to give the user an alarm when the dog might want to go after the last meal/water provided. Add a button to register if it was an accident or not, and chart this, easier to see how many times and how often he has accidents.

Almost great
This app is amazing, and depend on it to keep track of my puppy’s potty schedule. However, one thing that’s really annoying is the widget. Sometimes it shows the time of last occurrence, and sometimes they show how long it’s been since the last occurrence, and sometimes both. Why the changing back and forth, and why can’t I choose which one? Once that’s fixed, I’ll gladly give this app 5 stars.

Helped us figure out our dog schedule
Whether there’s a new dog or an existing dog in your home, this app is helpful for figuring out their schedule. It also helps make sure my husband and I don’t duplicate efforts (double feeding, taking them out when they were just out, etc.).

Keeps Everyone In the Know
With 4 family members helping to care for our new pup, this app not only keeps track of what the puppy is doing, it lets everyone in the family know too. Keeps us reminded and on the same page. Brilliant!!

Worth it
Helps keep me in so many ways. I have a better understanding of my puppies patterns and keeps me on track with taking him out for the bathroom. I wish there were a separate daily entry to recap things such as accomplishments, weight, or general tidbits. I know there’s a way to write notes right now, but it’s tied to an emoji.

Awesome app! Exactly what I wanted.
Pup to date makes it so easy to log my puppys actions. It’s a no-brainer to use if you have a new puppy and you’re serious about their training. Love the use of emojis as well as the endless customization available. Great work!

Great app but reminders..
The app has been a great tool for us. One thing with the new reminders though… would be great to setup a reminder for an hour after 💦 but also to tell the app not to remind us between say 10:00pm and 5:00am or something so it’s not going off at night. Otherwise great

Cannot share purchase
My husband and I downloaded the app and tried it. I then upgraded the app so we could continue to track but my husband can’t track with me unless he also upgrades his app. This is ridiculous and should be mentioned somewhere in app information that shows both family members need to upgrade in order to use the app.

Best puppy training app
I downloaded a bunch of the dog tracking apps, but this one is by far the best. It’s quick and easy to track potty training and feeding for a new puppy and the multiple views are really helpful.

Subscription
The entire point of the app is to track events. After five or so events it tries to force you to subscribe. Not every app we use in our daily lives is worth a subscription, and this is definitely one of them. It’s such a basic app and to try and force you to subscribe to use it is outrageous. Maybe make an app worth subscribing to first

Needs just one more feature to be perfect
We are a family of 4 who just got a new puppy. We were writing bathroom & food times on a notebook. This app is just awesome! Please , Just make possible that when someone else registers an event everybody else can get the reminders. JM

Meh
I like the simplicity and concept. However, was only able to track one evening’s worth of potty/meal/naps before the free option maxed out. A few bugs and very limited features, nothing I can’t track in native notepad, so certainly not worth $4/mo (the same price as ad free Pandora). Not clear in the App Store description what is included for free vs paid versions.

Terribly programmed and full of bugs
We spent an evening adding events from the past day and getting ready to move forward with the schedule, and it randomly crashed gives ‘not found’ errors when trying to save events and then deleted half of the events we’d added. Menus are counter intuitive, event editing and entry takes too long. We’ll be asking for a refund.

Suddenly requires upgrade to use default options
Grabbed this app and really liked it at the beginning; not doing anything overly too high speed, just normal training saves. Suddenly, just to jot down training notes and save, it requires me to update. Isn’t there a dumbed down version for free??

Terrible app
First forces you to make an account and take your data when you try to use it. When you create an account, it asks you to buy the “Pro” version to use any features. Wish there was some transparency so I don’t have to waste my time and give my data to a terrible company.

Membership
You are able to track around 5 events then it asks you to pay for a membership to be able to track any more events. $9.99 just to take note of when my puppy did her thang, wack. Do not recommend this app unless you’re going to use it for one day.

Awful! Waste of time
Kept deleting what I added and crashing. Waste of time. Only managed to log three things over and over and over again. No way would I pay money for this. I’ll use the other free app. Thought this would be nicer as it showed times but PASS.

Many flaws
I found this app oddly designed. First I had to go hunting for an emoji for pee, then I realized I couldn’t log an exact time when an event happened, only relative tines like “15 mins ago” (what about something that happened this morning that I had forgotten?), then I realized it was a freemium model. Then I deleted it.

Apple Watch App Doesn’t Work

Great concept, flawed implementation
This app has a nice clean design and a lot of potential, but has some questionable design decisions that make it frustrating to use. I needed something to help me track the house training process with my new puppy. I thought this would be easier to use than just keeping a log in notes. The icons are a nice idea. In theory it does make it easier to tap on an icon, and to reuse notes you have written before. (And of course the time stamping feature is helpful, and that is well designed.) Of course, you will want to make your own custom icons with notes. Now, why in the world someone decided that you could only have one custom icon, and every time you created a new custom icon, it would replace the previous one (with no warning) I cannot imagine. This part is ridiculous, and if they address this one flaw, I think the app could be great, aside from a couple other flaws… The other major flaw is in the basic interface design of canceling out of an operation. If I tap an icon and then decide that I actually wanted to use a different one, there is no easy cancel button. Instead, if I tap on the list that is in the background, it brings up a choice to “edit” “cancel” or “delete”. First, this is not an obvious way to cancel an operation. “Edit” just takes you back into the same icon to change your time. “Cancel” returned you back to creating the icon you were just on. And, (here’s the zinger) “delete” starts deleting past items that you have created on your list that are not even in view at the time. I deleted four past items in a row before I realized what was happening! Finally one small enhancement would be to increase the field used for creating notes to have more than one single line. This one line creates a long half hidden line of text which is very hard to see. Overall it’s a great concept, and if these design flaws were fixed, it could be a really great app. At this point though, I wish I had just started my log using Notes.
