I use this app all the time. It’s amazing. It always loads super quickly. It adjusts to your location easily. Radar is spot on and it is much more user friendly than the Apple installed generic weather app. Highly recommend!
Hey guys! I’ve been loving my time on this weather app, but I do have a few things to cover. You don’t have to read this if you don’t want to, but I do have a negative. It’s just that this app is kind of hard to navigate and look at without a problem. Of course, this is just my opinion, but this is what I think. In other weather apps, how the app looks is just a little easier than this one. So all I would say is that try to make how the app looks a little easier. Other then that, the app is pretty accurate, and overall, this is the best app that I’ve had so far.
I try to see the weather forecast and radar and it is overpowered by annoying ads that prevent my access to the actual program. When the program plays I only get part of the message then it flips to another message and ad. When I need to be “Sky Aware” I can’t get the actual full data because ads prevent reasonably quick access to the weather.
This is the best weather app I’ve found for using the radar. I’m a truck driver and the radar always works and is always accurate no matter where I am. And I am all over the country all the time.
Have 2 other apps, but always use this one as seem to get info faster. Also, I travel a lot and surprisingly it automatically displays the weather of my new location, not the QC
Easy to find what we need to check the local weather. Jut wish they would take the white clouds out of the hourly portion. The white makes it hard to read.
I like the app with the hourly in the daily temperatures and our options. However, I only gave it four stars because I’d really like to be able to see the temperature in both Fahrenheit and Celsius AT THE SAME TIME instead of having to switch back-and-forth.
I moved about 800 miles south of the QC over a year ago, & still only use this. I just hate getting the alerts that only are relevant to the QC, but otherwise it tells me when lightning, or heavy precipitation is in my area :). Still love it overall!
I love it because one time there was a tornado 20 miles away and I was actually ride my Bike then I got the notification and then I new that I had to go home if I didn’t have the app I could of died
I’d love your weather reports etc but I have a question pertaining to people who r evacuated from Afghanistan where r all of them going to other than ones coming or belonging here in the USA thxs
KWQC has done an incredible amount of work in making this weather tool an easy and pleasant way to keep aware of the weather here in Iowa as well as around the country!!
Difficult to read white print on white clouds. Also not timely updates. Sometimes video report is several hours old. Works ok if only looking at same day.
Everytime I get a notification there’s a special weather statement the video NEVER had sound. Doesn’t matter what I do, it never has sound. How am I supposed to know what the special weather statement is? There’s no text. Nothing other than a radar and no sound. FIX THIS NOW. Otherwise the app is useless.
The clouds in the background of the hourly/daily forcast make it impossible to read some of the hours/days. If you cannot fixthis simple request I will need to go elsewhere. Such a great site, except fot that major issue which is a minor fix. .
Tired of pop-up adds and App updates that don’t work. Just noticed that the radar portion was recently changed with additions of numerous new confusing radar screen options and I can no longer activate past/future precipitation scroll. So, deleted the App.
There are way too many ads and with the white cloud background under the white text, it is impossible to read. I will be using the Weather Channel app until you can get your act together and come up with a product that addresses these frustrating issues.
The app was good until the update (feb. 2018). This new version is sending me alerts for things I do not need. The alert settings are off, but I still get them. Very annoying. I can live with the ads, I don’t mind them.
Very seldomly does this app work properly. It auto closes and hangs up as ads keep loading and videos auto play. It’s disappointing becuase this is my favorite local news station and I feel the app doesn’t reflect the quality of news they cover and discuss on television.
The app is so delayed. It’ll claim there is a terrible storm coming even though it had already blown through. Not to mention the radar is update only every 10-15 minutes when it used to be even 3-5 minutes
I’ve used this app for years and really liked it, but recently it started eating up all of my data, like more than ten times what it used to use. Hopefully this gets fixed!
Just ridiculous how many times the same pop-up ad comes up when trying to read a special weather statement. Over and over! Deleting this app, this is overkill.
It doesn’t work right and it shuts down while you are using it and it’s slow loading. I may go to tv 8 weather. It was fine before the update. I give this update a 0
