When I get it, it works for like 3 days. Then later when I try to press a button does not work at all for another couple days until you try again maybe after a week or two maybe longer then it will try to work but mostly likey will work if you try to re download the app. I would give it 2.5 stars though. Also to add the button to turn it on and off won’t work to turn it on but just to turn it off
I was tired of Hi Sense remote controls. The buttons would get stuck etc that’s what you get when a remote is less than $10. I found His Remote and love it. The app is so easy to use. My husband won’t download the app to his phone, so technically I still have control over the TV 😄😄I love being able to turn on the tv before I’m even in my house. Scares the crap out of him to when the Tv just comes on ( he forgets the app on my phone🤣). I can actually add other tvs too.
My dog chewed up my tv remote so I downloaded this app to see if it would work and it’s been great. It gives you access to everything you need and pretty interactive for being as simple as it is. I only give it 4/5 stars because it doesn’t let you customize or change the order of any of the buttons. I even upgraded to the paid option but nothing changed. Still, very good.
I love this remote! You can use it on any of your Roku devices doesn’t matter if it’s a Hisense or not! it gives you the option to pay for it. That way you don’t have to watch ads, but you don’t have to. I’ve had this app for a 1 1/2 years and never paid for it not time. If you don’t want ads then pay for it, but you don’t have to!!!
With this app I don’t need get up and look for the control I just get my phone and go to his remote this app is amazing u all should have it I think it made the world a better place for kids to watch movies and shows and Jesus videos get the his remote it will change your legs !!!!!!!!
The free version makes you watch long raunchy dating app ads. I paid $4.99 for the ad free version then the app stopped working all together 2 days later. Wasted $4.99 to have a remote for 2 days. A lot of reviews say the app all together just stops working. This company is a scam!!! Can’t imagine how much money they have made off of this junk app. App support doesn’t even connect to a page!
Trying this app and it works well, except I must rename my control and the ads are too much, cannot exit ads unless the app is closed out completely and then you must rename again. I have not tried the “premium” version but I assume there is a cost to it. I will be checking out other apps which are free without this pain.
Seems from the reviews that this is a hit or miss app, and unfortunately for me it’s a miss. It won’t even recognize my tv. I’ve done as much troubleshooting as I can, and ensured both the tv and my phone are on the same channel on my WiFi, but nothing works. So, it’s getting deleted and I’m moving on to try something else.
This app works well on the phone and ipad, however… The “quick” buttons are too close to the volume up button and is easily tapped to screw up your current channel. The app eats battery life like crazy and causes the iphones to heat up.
It worked great at first except for the fact that it won’t turn my tv on. Later on it won’t even work and I have no idea why or how to fix it and way to many ads
I don’t as happy to find the Hisense roku remote in the App Store. The first night, it worked great. The next night, it wouldn’t work at all. Removed the app and tried to reinstall. Still won’t work. Very disappointed. No way to get help or ask questions either
I had to pay for this app and it doesn’t even work by chance I can get it to turn my TV off or change the station or volume control and I make sure the device I’m using is on the same Wi-Fi network as my smart tv. I feel like I’ve been stolen from.
I paid for the tv why do I have to pay to get an ad free remote. I won’t be buying this brand of tv again. If I’m going to pay for a remote I will buy an app that would work with more then just this cheap tv.
Ads pop up constantly. If it wasn’t for that it would be great. also it constantly asks to be upgraded to the ad free version. Kind of lame that a $400 tv charges for an app remote.
Downloaded this because I think my remote is dead since I can only get one click out of it every 10 minutes-it won’t even let me add any devices. Waste of time. True rating is zero stars.
The reason why you should not get this app it’s because it doesn’t even connect to TVs. I’m trying to connect the remote to the TV in my room, but It always connect to a different TV.
The app as working perfectly and then just stopped and refused to connect to any tv after time and time and time of working different options this just won’t connect.
Works sometimes then it doesn’t. Consistently turns the tv offf but fails to initially start the tv consistently!!! Worthless. Paid for the premium version hoping it was better. It keeps wanting me to o repay.
I installed the app and it refused to connect to any of my TVs. Even worse it included pop up ads and then tried to get me to subscribe to a premium version. Do not install
Way way to many ADs! I understand takes ADd to pay for free apps, but not every 30 seconds does an AD need to play! Also I constantly have to disconnect and reconnect my TV to the app! Super annoying!
I downloaded this app it worked at first and then ads start popping up I couldn’t believe it they put ads on a remote control app I deleted the app it’s junk
Downloaded perfectly. Followed beginning of onscreen pages. When app is supposed to link to TV, app closes and I am back tk my Home Screen of phone. This app will not reopen now.
