Fine except they can’t figure out the paperless bill king
There’s ton of good value here except that it always asks if I want to do paperless billing. I don’t want it. I select “I don’t want it” and I save. But every time it asks me. Fix it.
Haven’t been able to log in for a month. It just gets stuck on the “signing in…” popup. Maybe y’all can take some of that money from massively hiking our rates last month and fix the app?
I don’t want to enroll in ‘Operation Roundup’ but in order to use the app you have to click “ok” with no way to opt out. It’s a useless app for me until they get rid of that.
Tried to report a street light out. When I finished entering all info, pressed "submit", and boom! all fields cleared, no messages of any kind. Turns out, report did go thru, but app does not provide any kind of confirmation. Ended up reporting it three times! That's some lousy programming.
This app is useful if you are a Sawnee EMC customer and will allow some tasks to be done without a call to customer service. The functionality to report a problem with a street light is useful. Once you complete the form and hit Submit, the form clears without any confirmation to the user that the request was accepted or successful. This can lead to duplicate requests. Needs to be fixed.
It's not the sexiest app in the market but I love that I can track my usage and account balance from anytime anywhere and pay my bill. Finally, a utility company that gets it!
I have this app on my iPad & iPhone. It used to work great. Now it randomly shows some day's usage as zero. Re-downloading the usage data doesn't help. It just changes the days that are zero. Deleting the app and reinstalling doesn't help either.
Sawnee EMC's app quality is on par with its level of service and value to customers. Unsurprisingly it will completely drain power/ battery resources after minimal use. It does however provide some visibility into their dismal consumption data quality and sketchy business practices.
I converted all my light bulbs from 90watt to 11 watts. I was saving a lot of money every month before Sawnee EMC manipulated the energy usage and put me back to paying nearly $10.00 a day! What can we do? We are all held hostage by these people. They’re the ones lobbying so you cannot put solar panels on your homes as be less dependent on them.

You can also submit one of the many predefined messages, with the ability to include pictures and GPS coordinates. News - Provides a convenient way to monitor news that may affect your service such as rate changes, outage information and upcoming events. Service Status - Displays service interruption and outage information. You can also report an outage directly to Sawnee. Maps - Displays facility and payment dropbox locations on a map interface.
